Wow! I'm just... I'm so excited for this story! You have no idea. I love the emotions, the adorable Romeo and Juliet hint, the well-written supernatural aspect, and yes, the sex scenes.
I was also pretty hesitant to read "yet another vampire/werewolf story" but I am SO happy that I gave it a shot! This was just... Wow! There are some deliciously romantic parts that just have me squealing - and I'm usually not one for serious romance. My stories are usually depressing, and any romance is more of an undertone than anything, and that's usually the way I like other stories.
But, as I said, I'm so happy that I gave this story a chance. I was not at all disappointed. ^^

The only reason I haven't finished reading this story yet is because I have classes in the morning and I need to get some rest. This. Is. Amazing.
If it wasn't for the fact that they were mates, the feelings they have for one another would seem too fast. But because they're tied by bonds so much stronger than themselves, it almost puts Romeo and Juliet's lust-based love to shame. I'm adoring every second of this. Usually, this type of depiction of Naruto and Sasuke's emotions for each other (i.e. the fluff and romantic scenes after mating) would have me doing a 180 and walking in the opposite direction, but because of their circumstances, which you brilliantly executed, and simply the way you wrote it, I was hooked. This is beautiful. I'm sticking with this and recommending it.

Oh, I'm glad Sasuke and Naruto are trying to get to know one another. I don't mind that you did it this way since they recognize how much they don't know about one another, and are starting to understand how different they are to each other, just by being different species. The conversation about food was funny because even a little thing like that shows how different their experiences are to each other.
You know, even if everybody was OK with a werewolf and a vampire being together, Naruto still wouldn't be getting the kind of mating experience werewolf pairs normally have since Sasuke is nocturnal. He'd pretty much HAVE to be kept waiting from sunup to sundown whether he liked it or not. The only difference here from what he would have otherwise gone through is that he'd at least have the luxury of being able to sleep next to Sasuke while he rests.
I'm really worried about Sasuke's feeding habits. Karin said vampires can't go blood-only, which would be fine if he was able to take energy from sex with Naruto. But he can't. Naruto doesn't like the idea of Sasuke having sex with anyone other than him, and it seems like Sasuke wasn't too keen on being with someone other than Naruto when he walked in on Karin. So what's he going to do? It would kill Naruto to give Sasuke all the blood he needs, but it would kill Sasuke not to get the energy he needs to survive! (Kushina might not have to lift a finger to get rid of him if the hunger does it for her.) Doesn't seem like being mated to a werewolf has changed him (or Naruto) biologically in any way (like all of a sudden he's not nocturnal, or all of a sudden Naruto is). They are both werewolf and vampire, same as they always have been. However, it would have been convenient if he suddenly found himself being able to eat solid food! Hopefully they'll figure something out?

Oh wow, did I get totally hooked on this story! I'm really a sucker for these 'forbidden romance' kind of stories. ;D I just hope our boys won't meet the same end as Romeo and Juliet. :'( Keep up the great work ~

The relationship you're describing is very complex. On one hand, it's purely instinctual drive, pull, lust with no reasons needed. Simple. On the other hand, we have 2 grown ups from veery different worlds.. more and more differences to add up. Naruto has already set some definite limits: decency rules, fidelity, no converting himself into a vampire..Sasuke is a nocturnal - starving :)- hunter. What will they add, each to his own list?
What will happen when Naruto has got to know his mate well enough? What kind of person Sasuke is? Mass murderer, maybe. Immoral, cynical, aggressive? Just how much is Naruto ready to take? Incl. those traits that cannot be reformed?
It's strange to analyse such strong emotions that appeared without usual background, from zero, so to say.
"When he met Sasuke, it was like he was suddenly seeing in colour" - but was Naruto's life *that bad* without the guy? Sasuke definitely didn't miss any of the 'normal' pleasures of his lifestyle. Are they *that* indispensable for each other? Isn't it an exaggeration?
I liked the way you described the changes in their perception and inner state, as well as the focus on each other, they really feel "fixed" on each other.
I wonder why has naruto became an 'alpha male' in the story.. just because he knew what was going on between them during that party? Or because he's a bit taller and of more muscular than lean type of build?:) Or, better, because he's more sure of the absolute necessity of his mate sharing his life?
Than Sasuke's role in the couple is more of a.. ? A sex-addicted b*ch, a follower? Obviously, Naruto has already taken up the leader's role.
Hurrah, the aspect of investigation isn't lost for the story! Madara, Madara, oh, Madara - always the one to blame :) An alchemist of revenge, bloodlust and discord:) The plot behind the fuelling the feud! Ancient books and ancient languages!
I liked Karin's story, too. Maybe people like her will become a separate force in the coming "war".
