I just finished reading your latest chapter and I totally loved it. I am reall like the direction that you are taking in this story but I just hope that naruto and sasuke don't end up like romeo and juliet. You know them dying.
Well keep up the good work and I can't wait for the next chapter.

I'm not usually a fan of vampire fics, to be honest, because they often bring out some of the worst tendencies in pairing fic (in other words, piles and piles of flangst and whiny, hysterical characters who've lose all sense of reason). However, this one has a few good things going for it since they are both supernatural creatures. (I'm grateful we get to skip over the whole tedious conflict over whether or not Sasuke and Naruto should "turn" their mates.) I also like your choice to make them both older characters who (at least in Naruto's case) have seen a bit of the world. You mentioned this was supposed to be a Romeo & Juliet-style fic? The problem with Romeo and Juliet was really their ages. The tragedy of the play could have been averted at a number of points during the course of the action if only cooler heads had prevailed and a little more foresight and discretion had been used. (Hell, even at the very end if Romeo had just waited a couple minutes before drinking that stupid poison...) Hopefully it will make a positive difference in what happens to Naruto and Sasuke since they didn't *just* reach adulthood. While the rush of mating might be new, they've both experienced sex before and are world-weary enough to be aware of politics in a way Romeo and Juliet weren't. They can be smart about finding a way to be together?

This is pretty good so far. Surprisingly, I like the Kiba x Sakura. (I think because Kiba is a little Naruto-like, so by association they have a more natural rapport than if you'd put her with Lee or one of the other males.) It's interesting that Sasuke has some vaguely werewolf-like characteristics with his sense of smell (at least where Naruto is concerned), his mating instincts that a vampire supposedly shouldn't have, and his ability to shapeshift into a large animal. Is there anything vampire-like about Naruto as well?
So now the question is, how quickly will Naruto and Sasuke find out the truth about each other? Naruto thinks Sasuke must be human, so would he try to mate with him without attempting to explain what the two of them having sex would mean? And even if Naruto is too far gone to control himself, would Sakura and Kiba stand by and do nothing? At least Naruto knows about mating and knows Sasuke isn't the same species as him. Poor Sasuke doesn't know anything about that and comes from a species where monogamy is NOT the norm. Being with Naruto forever, even if his instincts are telling him to go for it, is actually a pretty big sacrifice for him. But then, isn't being with Sasuke a sacrifice for Naruto, especially since Sasuke will be dependent upon him for feeding? No matter how strong a werewolf is, regularly giving Sasuke his lifeforce (whether through sex or blood) would have to take its toll on Naruto.
And those are just a few of the problems between them. When you add in external forces like Kushina the vampire hunter, and Fugaku who already looks down on Sasuke for being able to shapeshift, these two have their work cut out for them... How soon will they mate? I'm hoping they don't do it right away and then find themselves stuck with one another and forced to work things out because of circumstances. (That kind of thing always strikes me as rushing the pairing too much.) I'm hoping they try to fight it for a while and then make the decision to go ahead with it, despite the consequences. (There would be a little more foundation for the pairing that way, rather than just instincts.) But that's just my take on it.

I cannot honestly say if I liked the story or not.. Ahh-rawrrrrrrr.. this creepy, standard-Twilight theme and accents.. why oh why *must* they be a vampire and a werewolf???.. especially with Kishimoto’s universe so rich in different creatures?
So I need to read more to say if I like it or not. What I did like was Naruto’s direct approach to the situation: you came, you spot, you claim :) So it seems.
Actually, the situation in Ch.1 is quite the opposite to what was said in Prologue: no feuds, young people of both races can mingle well, as for animosity \ disgust , it was manifested only by absent MrUchiha Sr and Mrs Uzumaki : ) So I guess it’s okay and even more peaceful atmosphere for both guys to get together.
Where’s that ‘uneasiness’? So far, no vampire has even noticed or sensed werewolves’ presence – which *is* strange. Young generation is clearly ready to let go of prejudices – so?..
Gay unmated werewolves – ahh, this *is* so saaad.. and unfair.
I wonder if Naruto truly wants a mate, as it seems that he’s been searching one for so long more because of a tradition and his becoming of a certain age, rather than because he’s lonely. Before sasuke appeared, he was ready to let go and settle down, find a steady job.. what he really wants?
Okay, instincts first, but still?
And for a wolf to spend so much time away from his original pack - how did he cope with it? And what is his real pack look like?
Naruto a cop? Any professional training or experience, then? And I personally hope and vote for some bloody crimes in the vicinity :)
And it was *so* easy just to set your eyes on you mate, feel him – and come up to him.. so damn easy.. what a shame, after so many years spent in your search for one.. Will there be any difficulties at hand, like, say, wanna-be girlfriends, annoying, nosy well-wishers or aggressive relatives present at the party? Tybalt or Mercutio-like? let'em rock & crash the party!
What I’d like to read more about, too: Narutos and Sasuke’s appearance incl. smells and tactile sensations, background, characters.. if they're animal-like in their core, there must be some.. descriptions of the way they *feel* each other. Please in details! :)) – let’s follow Twilight A to Z.. it's okay here.
As for the title.. it's a story of a gay, male romance, so allusions to flowers seem to be a bit off.. unless both guys are well-versed in Shakespeare and will use their knowledge:)
Thank you and good luck with your writing!
