It's certainly one of my favourite chapters.
Bitter and tender, with distinct feel of danger. Something's definitely coming. And Naruto's desperate attempts to capture and make *this* linger are very endearing. He has his own way to express his feelings. Will we see Sasuke finding his and putting it all into words?.. Honestly, I prefer actions to words and Naruto has learnt well enough to read Sasuke's actionspeak. Unity thru difference.
Kabuto's a threat. But is Itachi? He's weak after all, and surely guys could cook a credible lie that would work for some time ... And couldn't Itachi be a good, understanding person, seeing his brother's emotional involvement and even help with some legal advice? Surely he wouldn't report Naruto the moment he saw him or kick him out. They'd make friends with Naruto easily and happily conspire for Sasuke's happy ending.. Am I delusional? OK, Itachi could advize something on Naruto's situation anyway, even if he knew only half of the truth about them.
I'm very interested in the next development, Juugo's reason to take part in the crime, will Sasuke manage to talk them out of it or not, any signals from Orochimaru or Kabuto etc.
As usual, I'm glad you're keeping it real and not too simple. Feelings mix, and mix well. No one's perfect. Security's lie; all people lie; white lie's just an illusion we need etc.
Thank you for such a good story and wish you all the best.

Drama!! I'm glad that sasuke was able to stay strong and continue refusing kabutos 'orders ....but wHat does kabuto have planned?! Also want to know how he got Juugo into robbing a house. Hopefully sasuke and naruto are able to find a solution to their problem without suffering through some negative consequences.
congrats on getting engaged!

I'm still proud of Sasuke. He's strong and brave to stand up against Kabuto. He's smart for his age. I am a bit worried about him though because Kabuto obviously won't let him go easily. Sasuke's friends are involved too now. I hope things work out in the end though. Thank you for the update!
Also, congratulations on your engagement! That's great news and I'm happynfor you. XD

Yes, I'm proud of Sasuke this chapter! Well done! It's really great how he didn't let Kabuto control him. I have a feeling this is not the end though. Once you get into selling drugs and stuff, it's not so easy to get out. Will Orochimaru and Kabut let Sasuke go?

I really liked the story so far but now I feel there's too much of come twisted, clumsy, crude and bluntly obvious pseudo-psycho-therapy of some kind on Naruto's side. Too many moments that lead to painful flashbacks, too many personal questions. He's really gone too far, being who he is, with his own complexes, insecurities and problems, present or impeding, on his mind, troubling him.
I understand that it could seem necessary to the author, but to make all these flashbacks *thanks to* Naruto's constant questonning?.. Does he make that good psychotherapist figure? Has he really overcome all his problems?
While it's true that friends \ lovers \ our nearest and dearest are our best help and support, I don't see how Naruto can take all the credit to himself and help Sasuke. It's strange he isn't get beaten on regular occasion.

Poor Sasuke, what a trauma. You described his emotions, actions and thoughts in a good way. It was all very realistic which makes reading interesting. Luckily, he has Naruto by his side. The way they interacted together at the end of the chapter made me smile. Well written! XD

Oh my, there are several chapters I had to catch up on. And what a ride it had been. This story is amazing, kinda like I'm watching a TV series. It makes me hold my breath, anticipating what's to come. Like this last chapter. I hope Sasuke doesn't get in trouble for this but I have a bad feeling. With Itachi in the hospital, he shouldn't have taken risk. And what about Naruto? I wonder how he did at the labor center. This story makes me crave for more. Not to mention this is fantastically written.
