Oh god. This Story is Heartbreaking, sad and still... somehow hopeful. i love it!

This was touching. It could easily have been melodramatic and cheap, but you held just the right amount of restraint on the story that instead I found the piece to be bittersweet. Both families were reunited in the end, so I can't feel too badly about that. And Naruto and Sasuke forged an important connection. Even if they could never be together in life, they still helped each other a lot. And just as promised, they were able to meet again at the end of Sasuke's life. I also liked that Sasuke formed a small bond with Minato and Kushina, and also the historical tie-in with the deaths of Naruto and Sasuke's parents. I think it worked better that they died because of similar events, rather than under similar/identical circumstances. Like, it would have been too much of a coincidence if Naruto died in a car crash and the Uchihas just so happened to have died in a car crash as well. It's not all that easy to meet someone who has experienced the exact same tragedy that you did. Everyone's lives are just so different.
