‘How did one become Hokage?’ Naruto wondered. It was quite obvious! One had to be acknowledged as the strongest in Konoha! But then there was also the task of getting rid of the current Hokage. With that thought, Naruto grinned. He could always scare Tsunade out of her wits with the vilest animals appearing in her room one morning. But then, he thought, that would be cruel (also, he wouldn’t want this room to be dirtied with the beasts he was going to use because that room would someday be his). He guessed he would just have to wait for her to acknowledge him one day (hopefully in the near future) to become Hokage!
So first thing first, he would have to become strong (gotta get that ero-senin for training!) Second, he would have to prove to the village he was the strongest and make them acknowledge him. Third, get some ramen (maybe that would be first, actually….) Fourth, he would have to get Sasuke to acknowledge him (that was one whole task in itself.) Then lastly, if he didn’t forget any other steps at this moment, BECOME HOKAGE!!! Getting married, having a life with a family, yadda yadda yadda was last throughout all the steps or it would maybe develop in-between the steps.
Naruto would never become so depressed from all the ridicule from the villagers to ever hurt his own body, no matter what the case was. If he were to become Hokage, he’d need his body to be in tip top shape. It’d be embarrassing to his pride if he became Hokage having hurt his own body like that. So that was a definite no in his head. He was above all of that.
Naruto had many steps and standards in becoming Hokage he just fell asleep on his bed wondering about them and making mental self notes to himself to remember all of it, but most likely the only one to stay in his head the next day would probably be ramen and no hurting himself.

Naruto was a bright sun shine that no one would be able to extinguish. He had grown into a fine young man by the present age of 16. Though…. he was still a little short in height and still lean even with the excessive training he did. He was still a bit ignorant in many areas and only knew the basics to things. He had turned into someone attractive enough to get the girls in Konoha to maybe not pick on him anymore. (If they did pick on him, it was maybe because they had enough courage to try their luck with the most hated person in Konoha.)
Sasuke still wondered why people didn’t like the blonde boy. He was thinking in common sense about the features to Naruto. All in all, Naruto wasn’t such a bad person.. maybe… He had thought about this many times before with his quiet time in his head. He had a lot of thinking time while looking stoic on the outside. If people knew what he was thinking of in his head, his reputation would be ruined. Or not, since it was Uchiha Sasuke we were talking about here.
He has a perfectly good reason to think about this because Naruto was part of his team. He had also thought about the features in Sakura before but, she was just another ordinary rabid fan girl. He wouldn’t lie that she was pretty and smarter then the average, but that was about it. He wouldn’t waste his quiet time in his head to think about someone that was of no interest. All he was trying to figure out was his other team mate, Naru…..
“SASUKE!!!!!”
Oh yeah, he was in training at the moment with the person he was presently thinking about….

“Stop looking at me with that stupid blank face and get serious!!” screamed Naruto.
“If I’m gonna become Hokage, I need all the training I can get!”
Why couldn’t Sasuke return to his quiet time!!?? He wasn’t that irritated with the interruption caused by the small, blonde boy, but he was trying to draw conclusions that bothered him from the very first time he was put into team 7…. BAM!!! Okay… now he was irritated…..
“Told you to get serious!” Naruto shouted then stuck his tongue out at the now irritated boy. He thought maybe today he would add something to this and turned around and patted his butt in front of the Uchiha.
“Nya Nya!” This satisfied Naruto with his insults knowing he stuck his butt in front of The Great Sasuke to make the punch even more humiliating.
Sasuke was in his quiet time again while all this was happening. ‘If I kick his ass now, more thinking time for later….’
Sasuke got up from off the floor and resumed the match/training. Swiftly and silently, he jumped up into the tress and hid himself.
‘Ah crap…..!’ Naruto shouted in his head. He could never find Sasuke after this. He had tried several times to do the same thing to Sasuke but, to no avail. His bright ORANGE outfit would never be hidden in the dark GREEN bushes. Dark blue hid better then bright orange. His blonde hair didn’t help either. So now he had regretted insulting Sasuke like that, maybe (it was funny after all.) If only he had just waited to…
“AHHHH!!!” ‘damn kunais’ Anyways, if only he had waited after kicking the blank Sasuke’s ass instead of snapping him back to his senses, Naruto would have been the victor. Well, all Naruto could think of at the moment was to maybe try to lure Sasuke out.
“What’s wrong Sasuke?! Being a coward and hiding, are we?!”
“At least I can hide unlike another bright orange dobe.” A calm voice said somewhere hidden in the trees.
Naruto was infuriated with the counter and he didn’t even get the raven haired boy to come out. He was angry with that nickname given to him from the stupid Sasuke. ‘That’s it!’
Naruto jumped into the trees too, to look for that bastard.
Sasuke just smirked at this action knowing Naruto was doing the opposite of what he was stating. ‘Trying to prove to me you can hide too with your bright orange outfit?’
Sasuke was getting restless with Naruto to appear again. ‘Guess the dobe has earned some patience over the years.’

It was true that Naruto had earned some patience over the years. Many things had happened of course which changed the blonde boy’s abilities. Of course, his were somehow always equal or a little less then Sasuke’s. Sasuke had seen to it that he had kept at least a little higher then the blonde boy’s abilities. It was hard since Naruto was aiming for Hokage and he had done extensive training to try to reach this goal.
In three years, Orochimaru and Itachi were defeated. These two had helped each other defeat their worse enemies. When Sasuke decided to leave for Orochimaru, Naruto had gone after his friend, if you could call them that, to bring him back to Konoha. Of course, Naruto’s main reasons to bringing Sasuke back was that Sakura had looked so sad with his abandonment of the village to become strong enough to defeat his brother and he was also anxious about Naruto’s great improvements in his abilities over such short periods of time.
Another reason was that Sasuke was one of his many precious friends that were rare in the village. He treasured all his friends. Especially his rival, only because Sasuke was someone to respect that this abandonment made Naruto angry because he had and still respected Sasuke’s greatness.
It wasn’t hard to bring Sasuke back and defeat Orochimaru. Well, Naruto DID have a hard time in defeating Orochimaru. He thought that if he defeated Orochimaru first, there was a higher chance of Sasuke coming back since his main reason was to earn strength from Orochimaru after all. Naruto’s determination defeated Orochimaru and brought back Sasuke.
Sasuke wasn’t really that angry that Naruto had interfered with his plans to becoming strong, since he did kinda see his mistakes after a while. It wouldn’t be his own strength if Orochimaru had taken over his body to kill Itachi. He wanted to do that on his own. Which he did, when Itachi had taken Naruto away for unknown reasons to Sasuke.
Sasuke had also valued the “friendship” that both Naruto and he had with each other. So when he had gotten the news from the Hokage that Itachi had kidnapped Naruto, he immediately went after the blonde boy and his brother. He was angry with how Itachi had tortured Naruto to the extent that when he had reached the two, he couldn’t see the gleam in Naruto’s eyes or recognize his bright face. Sasuke didn’t know why he was so angry. But he went into a blind fury and went to the limit to defeat his brother.
After defeating his brother, he wasn’t an avenger anymore. He had regretted killing his last family member because he was still human, unlike his brother. He helped Naruto back to the village to be treated.
He had paid Naruto back for saving him from Orochimaru, if there was even a debt there. Knowing Naruto, there wasn’t, that was just how Naruto was.
They had grown a lot together and now that everything had settled down, Sasuke had the chance to think about other non- stressful things that didn’t concern his brother. He could think about his life now. No big worries, after living a life of stress, it was peaceful now……

BAM!!! ‘Damn, not again’
Sasuke was lost in thought again, and was attacked by Naruto again. ‘Guess this is peaceful.’ Naruto had found Sasuke in the trees and was now attacking him full force after his discovery. ‘Now is the time to kick his ass and have some quiet time in my head again’ Sasuke thought.
Sasuke leapt after the blonde ninja through the trees. Naruto was quite fast for some reason, He had the swiftness of an animal, Sasuke had thought many times before. When he had caught up with the blonde boy, he went straight for a punch after throwing some kunais at Naruto. The punch connected to….. SMOKE!!! ‘Damn, a kage bunshin!!’ BAM!! Naruto had punched Sasuke hard in the gut. Sasuke was falling down from the trees and fell on the ground with Naruto on top of him. How’d Naruto hide himself with his orange outf…….
Sasuke went wide eyed….
“Gotcha Sasuke!!!” shouted Naruto with a triumphant smile.
The boy was only in his black under shirt along with his white boxers. He had deserted his orange outfit while Sasuke was thinking in the trees and sent a kage bunshin to distract Sasuke. Sasuke hadn’t realized that he was being followed while chasing after the kage bunshin because there was no bright orange chasing after him. Just a small, attractive boy in his black shirt and boxers….
“You better treat to some ramen after this!! It’s so tiring thinking up of a strategy to beat you!!” Naruto said. ‘Hmm.. guess that’s another change Naruto went through, he thinks, sometimes.’ Sasuke thought as he pushed the blonde boy off of him.
“Okay, dobe, you beat me once,” Sasuke had chosen his words wisely…
“ONCE!!!!??? IT”S MORE THEN ONCE!!! YOU”RE SUCH A BASTARD!!” Naruto shouted. He was still so easily provoked.
“Okay boys, trainings over.” Kakashi said. He was still their sensei even though they were now 16 almost 17. He still held his Icha Icha Paradise book in one hand and other hand in his pant pockets.
Sakura was at home with an illness so she wasn’t around today for a free for all match. She wouldn’t last long in this battle anyways. Though, she was tricky with her wits.
“Just treat him to some ramen. Sasuke, it was a well earned victory and Naruto… go put on some clothes.” Kakashi said to both of the boys.
Sasuke glared at Kakashi. ‘Easy for you to say, treating Naruto to some ramen meant being broke afterwards.’ Sasuke thought.
Naruto just blushed a little only because he was wearing his boxers in front of people. But it was easily fought off knowing that he was going to have ramen for being in his boxers, so he was happy.

How was my first(last?) chapter? this is my first time doing anything like this. i usually draw naruto doujinshis and i never write out things like this. i'm a picture person.( for example http://www.hochuuami.com/oekaki/pictures/9.png well, i am embarrassd about my pictures. hope people will review about my first chapter of my sasunaru. you can comment about if i did a lot of typos or not. ^^" well, my last words will be, ope you enjoyed reading my story and i hope it wasn't a waste of your time.
