My beautiful kitsune
I don’t own Naruto. End of argument. I will _NOT_ say it again.
Reviews are nice, an author's favorite treat!
Look at the note in the bottom for explanations, any questions that a reader might have will be answered in review responses, but i cant answer if i dont know what the question is.
Summery: Sasuke is looking for love, but he doesnt find it in a human. He finds it in a young kitsune.
*****************************************
A tall boy of 17 years knelt on a cliff. Before him was a square of cloth. On the cloth was a lit candle, a few different kinds of flowers and two crystals. All of these things were meant to draw friendship and love.
The candle gutted out and the lingering scent of it drifted away on the wind.
Noticing this, the young man finished his chant, picked up all of his supplies and stuck the crystals in his pocket.
The Sun was just rising when he reached home. The witch had stayed up all night working on a spell to draw to him love and friendship, the two things in the world he didn’t have. His only family had been killed in a terrible attack on his village, leaving him alone. He had tried to protect his family, but it hadn’t been enough.
Shaking off the memories, the black-haired young man gathered his school books and walked out of his apartment.
Stares followed the young man as he walked, but he didn’t pay attention to them; he was used to being stared at. After all, his appearance was a contradiction: dark hair and eyes, soft ivory skin, thin, and well-muscled. Also, he was seen as some kind of prodigy. In a town full of powerful people, both magically and politically, he was both, but also at the same time, neither.
It was true that his power made him the top of his class but that power hadn’t been enough. He was the last remaining member of one of the most influential clans in the village, but he was discriminated against because of his age.
********************************************
He entered the classroom, bowed respectfully to his teacher, and sat down in his usual seat to await roll call and the beginning of class.
The teacher started calling names out, but the young witch ignored what he was saying; he had no interest in who was here, save one person…
“Uchiha Sasuke”
The prodigy looked up at the sound of his name. “Here.” A dull sounding voice emanated from his throat; Sasuke didn’t see any reason to be here, he didn’t ever learn anything. Sometimes it was quite the contrary; he taught the teacher a new trick.
Suddenly, he was reminded why he bothered with coming, why he came every day.
A blonde-haired kitsune stumbled into the room just as his name was being called. However, his appearance didn’t do for everyone what it did for Sasuke.
Immediately, he was scolded in front of the class by the teacher for being late, while everyone laughed at him.
But Sasuke noticed something that not everyone else had. The blonde was sporting a rather large black eye. The teacher kept rattling on, not even taking the slightest notice that his student was hurt.
Sasuke stood up and walked over to the kitsune. Without saying a word, he gently touched the black eye, but pulled away when the other boy flinched. He muttered a quiet apology and pulled him to his seat. Once there, Sasuke pulled out a jar of healing ointment and gently applied it to the young kitsune. It was his own creation and it worked very well.
The kitsune looked surprised that someone would try to make his suffering end; that certainly hadn’t happened before. The gentle touch seemed to calm him greatly and he actually leaned into it. It felt nice to have someone touch him without hurting him. But suddenly, he pulled away, expecting for the person in front of him to slap him.
Sasuke looked surprised at the young kitsune’s sudden withdrawal. He spoke gently; knowing that at the slightest raise in his voice would startle that skittish fox-boy. “It’s okay; I’m not going to hurt you. I just want to make that black eye go away. It doesn’t belong on a pretty face like yours.”
The fox blushed and let Sasuke continue. The balm did it’s work well. Just a few minutes after it was applied, the discoloration was barely noticeable. Sasuke stepped back to admire his work. He then noticed that they had an audience.
“Uchiha-san, would you and that thing please take your seats?”
Sasuke glared ice-daggers at the teacher. “Naruto is alive, he thinks and he feels; therefore, he is not a thing.” With that, Sasuke pulled the young kitsune to his seat and they both sat down.
With that little display, class began.
*****************************************
Sasuke sighed. Class was finally over and he was more than ready to leave. After roll call that morning, the day had been uneventful, save some idiot trying a new chemistry experiment, which backfired in a big way. The chemistry lab was now redone in a lovely shade of soot.
A pained cry drew his attention. He followed the sound around the back of the building, and what he saw made his stomach turn.
Naruto, the young fox demon, was being beaten by some of the other students. The strange thing was he wasn’t trying to fight back; he just let them hit him.
Sasuke intervened, and ended the fight quickly, with a swift punch to the ringleader’s face. “Leave him alone, or I will make you regret it.”
The attackers believed him; the look on his face could have frozen hell over. They left, post haste.
Sasuke turned back to Naruto. “Are you okay?”
Naruto looked down and nodded slightly, a very faint blush on his face. Sasuke was hoping for more of an answer than that. He liked the young kitsune and didn’t want anything to happen to him.
A low growling sound from deep within Naruto, and a faint blush painted his cheeks.
Sasuke laughed. “Hungry, are we?”
Naruto nodded slightly, the blush deepening slightly.
“It’s ok if you’re hungry, but didn’t you eat anything earlier?” The blonde head shook. “That won’t do. Come on over to my house, I’m sure I can find something for you.”
With that, Sasuke lead the young kitsune to his house.

Uzumaki Naruto had never had anyone in his school pay attention to him like this. Everyone hated him because of the fact that he was a demon and a demon fox at that. The only person who had ever cared about him was his old care taker, a young man by the name of Iruka. But Iruka was gone, died from a nasty virus that had killed much of the village.
Like everything else bad that had happened to the village, Naruto had been blamed for the virus. He hadn’t been affected by it, because his demonic blood had protected from the effects; and for that, it had been said that he had brought the disease to the village.
Now all of a sudden, this dark-light person was being kind to him.
The black eye had been from a baker who thought he had stolen bread from his shop the day before; when actually he had paid for it, with the last of his money. Soon, after the bread was finished off, he would either have to rely on the charity of others, hunt in the woods outside the village or starve.
The rest of the day had been fairly uneventful in his world mainly because no one had noticed him, so they didn’t try to hurt him.
Until after classes let out for the day.
A group of young fire witches had cornered him in the back courtyard, and started to use their magic on him.
Naruto had long since lost any feeling in his body by the time that the fire witches stopped. He didn’t really notice anything until the fair witch had talked to him.
“Are you okay?” The concern in the deep baritone voice was obvious.
Naruto looked down and nodded slightly, a very faint blush on his face. He knew the pale witch wanted more of a response, but he just couldn’t give it.

Well, that’s chapter one, what do you think?
Yeah, I know, I know, you started _another_ story? What about the other one’s you’ve got going? Well, I don’t care, I got this inspiration from a book review I did for my English classes, and I’m getting credit for it, so I figure what the hell?
Now, like i said in the discription, it's seriously AU, in fact, except for some of the characters, this has really nothing to do with Naruto, but who really cares? This may be a little slow starting, but i hope that this has at least gotten your attention.
You will have noticed, maybe, that Naruto doesnt speak in this chapter. Well, that's because he doesnt speak around a lot of people, especially ones he doesnt know because of the way he's been treated, plus foxes tend to be shy around people. He will speak up a little bit in the next chapter.
Any questions will be answered if they are asked, unless it means that i have to give away the plot, but i will say that that is the reason im not answering.
