This story is an AU . The action place are Japan and Germany .

Chapter 1 : " The Clocktower Murder "

" Young Woman's Suicide at the Tokyo University's Campus "

Sasuske Uchiha slowly read the cover page article in the Mondays newspaper and at the same time took a sip of his coffy from Starbucks. On
his left side his partner - Detectiv Inazuka Kiba - was 'trying' to drive and eat donutsat the same time . Yes, trying being the key word
as 50 % of donut cake landed on the outer pages of the newspaper which was also working right now as the shield to protect against any
food related objects that flew out from the other detectivs mouth as he was now eating/driving/swearing at the same time.The two detectives
were a strange duo. Uchiha Sauske - cool , elegant , always collected with his hair perfectly geled and combed to the back of his head.
Always wearing a suit with a long black leather overcoat. Inazuka Kiba - messy , loud, vulgar , full of dog hairs sticking out from the
strangest parts of his clothes. Usually clad in a pair of dark used jeans a sweat shirt and a jersey jacket with a " I am a BAD dog " logo on
thr back. Yes , they were a strange duo matched by they station chief Tsunade 3 months ago when the Uchiha arrived at their station
nr 27 at Takachouchi-cho after being ' transfered ' from the Central Investigation Department.His arrival for sure stirred many mixed
feelings between the staff there. Curiosity - that of course, but everybody were to damn afraid to ask the stoic man anything. Bliss- Yes for
the female officers for sure , as on the same day of his arrival they formed between themselves unofficial fanclub of the handsome detectiv.
Hate and Jelousy - those two from the most part of the male staff. They really had enough reason to hate him< good looks , money ,
nice lean and tall body > even without adding the so-called stealing and hogging for himself the female staff - which consisted of 3 females , but as one was way to old to bother with ,
that only left two young , single , breathtaking oficers - Haruno Sakura and Yamanaka Ino .But to their dismay the object of their desires
for 3 months now haven't show any sign of interest towards them or towards any other females that came
to the station to have a look at the new 'transfer ' .

Yup.

In conclusion he wasn't to popular at his work place. But that actually didn't bother him too much. In fact he was quiet pleased with the
silent treatment he was receiving from the others. He had silence and order which he needed in order to work efficiently on his paperwork.

Even his so-called partner prefered to keep away from him , cutting their daily interaction only to the needed minimum of communication.
And right now he was on his way with his 'partner ' to the Tokyo Universitie's Campus in order to continue the investigation about the
suicide of young woman that took place two days ago.The said woman was supposed to jump from the campus central clocktower.The case was handled to the from the Central Station of Sothern Tokyo District
as they said they were currently short on staff. Bullshit.Actually they were to lazy to even check the case further and just labeled it as a
suicide and handed it over to someone else to bother their head.

"Ok..Uchiha . We're here " Inazuka stated as he was in the process of parking the car in front of the entrance to the Clocktower.Sasuke folded
his newspaper and put it in the backseat of the car.Slowly he made his way out and onto the pavement.He readjusted his coat as he felt
the chill of the late autumn season.Althought it was still before noon you couldn't tell that as the dark clouds ,an after efect of last nights
storm were still leisurely swimming in the sky blocking the sun.He was drawn out of his musings as something slowly made it's way
from the sky . It was flower petals. They were floating down from the tower each time that there was a stronger gust of wind.
He swiftly caught one of the petals before it hit the ground . As he was opening his palm to look at the petal his partner finally joined him.
" Ara? Sakura blossom at this time of year? That's rather strange?Don't you think?"The other detectiv said as he inspected the petals on the ground around
them."Hn " was the only anwser that greeted other man as the dark man was making his way already up the staircase of the tower.
"Oi! Uchiha ! Wait up for me! " The other officer quickly made his way up the round staircase noticing that his partner was already on
the fifth storey of the ten storey tower. Inazuka swiftly made his way up cussing under his nose about the lack of lift and the ASS his
partner was. Sasuke even 4 storeys ahead could here some parts of the others mantra. Well anyway he was used to that people liked
to blame him for their lacks or mistakes.As he made his way up to the final level his ears caught a line of sound . It looked like someone
was humming a song.He silently stood in the entrance to the Clocktowers viewing platform as he studied the person standing in front
of him next to the railing holding few branches of Cherry Tree blossom and gently humming a melody.Although it was dark and cloudly
Sauske's trained eyes didn't have any problems taking in the details of the person in front of him. Clothes : navy jeans and red anorak.
Height around 163 cm , weight around 60 kg , thick build .But the thing that catched the biggest part of his attention was a sea of unruly blond hairwith longer ends on the neck line
reaching freerly to their shoulderblades. The collor was a rich golden color .Maybe the person in front of him was some sort of a yankee?
That was one of the options that ran across Sauske's mind.

"Uchiha! Damn it! You could have waited for me!" His partner wailed as he was now trying to catch a breath after mounting the 'bloody'
staircase.Only then did the other detectiv remember about his partner as he turned around to be greeted by in his opinion 'pathetic' view
of the panting male. After a series of pants the brown haired detectiv raised his head in order to tell few pointers on the behavior of his
co-worker but he stopped when he noticed the figure behind Uchiha's back standing by the railing with few Sakura branches in his arms.
"Ara? A foreginer? " He spoke with a hint of interest in his voice. At this Sasuke realized that the humming have stopped and he
turned again in the direction of the blond haired person only to be greeted with two pools of deep azzure sea looking searchingly at him and Kiba. The tree persons stood silently each one of them
studying each other. After a moment the blond haired person kneeled in front of the railing and gently placed the cherry branches
next to it. For a moment the persons eyes lingered at the joining of ones of the pillar and the railing.Which action didn't escape Sasuke.
" And who you may be? This is still a crime scene you know? Right now you know you are tresspassing , right?" Inazuka came forth passing
by Uchiha and was now standing in front of the kneeled person that started to raise itself. Deep blue eyes kept staring at the two intruders,
esspecially long on the dark haired one ." You know we are here to investigate the suicide of the young girl- Aoi Anna. Are you by any chance a
friend of hers?". Again nothing met the detectives question instead the person in front of him started to move in order to pass him and
exit the viewing platform. " Excuse me. " Could be heared as he passed by Inazuka and as he was passing by Uchiha an even, steady
voice , not to deep , even femine at some point spoke to them. " If this place is really cut off as a crime scene how come there were some
works done to the railings during the weekend." Silence and then " EHH?!!?" Inazauka quickly moved to the railings to have a closer look
at them and indeed they were changed to a new ones. All of them. Sasuke took a moment to inspect the joint with the pilars . On the two
pillars joining the west railing he saw that there was some crumbled or rather 'torn ' fundation from the pillar , but someone was trying to
cover it . Propably when the railings were changed , but that in itself was strange .As he was looking at the railling he saw a blur of yellow
and gold exit the tower. 'Damn...! When did he?!' Next thing Sasuke was doing was running down the staircase deaf to the cries of his
partner asking him where the hell is he going. As soon as he was outside the tower he started looking around in the search of yellow mop
of hairs but he couldn't spot any as he was now walking around the campus in hope of spotting the blond mop.He didn't even pay
attention to the stares he was receiving from the people passing him , esspecially the longed looks from the females.' Damn it!' Walking
around in circles won't bring him anywhere 'Think .Sasuke .Think. That person looked to be around 19-20 yrs old so he is propably
a student here. For sure there is not a lot of foreginres with blond hair and blue eyes studying here. Damn it! But still there are too
many departments for me to check now one by one.Wait a moment ...they are supposed to have all their students data in the Administation
and Headmasters venue. The best option is to hit there for some information. ' And just as he thought the young detectiv started his walk
in the direction of the Administration building.


15 minutes later , The administration building , Information Desk

"Yes? How may I help you? "

The desk lady asked with an unusual sparkle in her eyes as she looked at the handsome
gorgeus man in front of her.

" Ah. Yes you may . "

Sasuke anwsered with an emotionless face as he showed the beaming female his badge.

" I am looking for a person with blond hair and blue eyes. Around 160 cm tall. A foreginer. Propably a student of TU . I was wondering
could I get a list of students matching this description with their photos"

It wasn't even a question . It was said more in an order form than a request.

" Umm Sir....that's not eno..."

"Are you saying you can't do it? Or is it to complicated for you ?"

To say the woman was speechless was an understatement . The red blush on her face for sure was now from embarassment or anger.
But it was still hard to tell as you could practically see the flood of water running down her face.

Really the detectiv was getting only more angry with this 'hopeless' woman.

" Harrassing some innocent people from the morning . Huh , Uchiha?"

The said Uchiha turned his attention from the sloopy woman to the owner of the voice that interrupted his disscussion.

" Hyuga"

There in front of him stood Hyuga Neji. His archnemesis since kindergarten but that's a story for a diffrent time to be told.

" Don't tell me are by any chance investigating the case of Aoi Anna's suicide?"

The Hyuga looked at the other man with interest.Not to say that the other man didn't show any suprise. He raised his left eyebrow
a little at that.

" Yes. How do you know about the case?"

" Well..Newspapers are one thing but this Aoi Anna was on a schoolarship sponsored by our company .That's why I was called in here
today to take care of some formalities connected to it. "

" So the girl was on a schoolarship from Byakungan Pharmacies ? That for sure proves enough that she wasn't some love stuck idiot
that would jump down the clocktower because of love trobles..."

Sasuke mused to himself.

" Wellmy impression of her was quiet good. She was a collected person , not rash for sure. Personally I don't think also that she would
be a type to kill herself or do anything those lines. She was a very gentle person. Well..that's at least what Hinata-sama told me"

" Hinata? You're younger cousin?"

" Yes. Although they were studying in diffrent departments they knew each other . Aoi-san came here all the way from Osaka and didn't
know anyone here. To tell you the truth she was quiet simillar to Hinata that's why I thought it was a good solution for both to
introduce them to each other."

" By the way ,what department isHinata-san in ? "

" Oh? I didn't say that ? It's Economics and Strategical Planing "

"...."

" Quiet shocking right ? Even I was shocked when she anounced that she wants to study that , especially here. Now she's in her 3rd
year."

Sasuke quickly sorted to new informations in his head .

" Hyuga , would it be possible for you to arrange a meeting for me with Hinata-san? "

" You want to question her , don't you ?"

At this Neji's eyes narrowed a little while looking at other male.

Sasuke didn't even bother to state the obvious.

The Hyuga let out a tired breath out and started to walk in the direction of the entrance to the building.

" Right now I am going for a meeting with Hinata so if you want you can tag along and ask you're questions."

Sasuke knew that this will be propably his only chance to talk with the young heiress of the Hyuga's empire. It was quiet well known
that Neji was very protectiv over his two younger cousins - Hinata and Hanabi .No other way with this.The mistery blond will have to wait for later.

But still. There was this small nagging feeling that he forgot about something quiet important.Well , anyway he will propably remember
later so for now he was content in following the Hyuga as he led him for a meeting with Hyuga Hinata - the victims friend.


Campus Cafeteria

The cafeteria was slowly getting filled with more and more people as the lunch hour was nearing.Uchiha and Neji sat by a table in the corner
of the room near the windows as they awaited the young woman's arrival.They were silently drinking their coffe when the young woman
with short black hair and pale eyes entered the cafeteria. after a moment she have spotted Neji's risen hand and started to walk in the
direction of two males.She welcomed them with a bright smile adding a little blush to it .

" Neji-oniisan how nice of you to drop by to see me! "

At this the older Hyuga silently concentrated on the task of drinking his coffe. That also didn't escape Sasuke's attention.

'So he still feels a little uncomfortable around people from the main house '

After a second the girl turned her head in his direction.

" My if it isn't Uchiha-san! It has been ages since we last saw each other. I hope that you and you're family are in good health."

At this she slightly bowed in his direction.

"Yes.Thank you for you're concern "

He returned the gesture to her and after the greetings were exchanged the girl took a place next to her brothers left side and Sasuke's
right side.After a moment Neji spoke as an anwser to his cousins unspoken question about his companion.

" Hinata-sama , Uchiha-san would like to ask you some questions concering Aoi Anna-san "

At this Hinata's smile drop a little as she looked at the Uchiha .

" Uchiha-san are you working on Anna-chan murder? "

"Yes I am. That's why I would like you to tell me about Aoi-san "

It didn't pass his attention that the girl refered to the case as 'murder' not 'suicide' .

The girl next to him started to fidget a little.

" Well...as you propablly know I was introduced to Anna-chan by Neji-niisan during my second year here. It was just after she transfered
here to our Chemistry depatment from Osaka where she used to live and study. She was a very nice girl and also quiet beutyfull with her
long chestnut hair and brown eyes. As we didn't have any joned lectures , well maybe exept Mathematic Analasys , we mostly hang together
during our lunch breaks and after the lectures. Well mostly during the breaks , because I after after the lectures around one hour later always
get picked up by my family driver and I return home. "

Here Sasuke gave a look at the Hyuga male which clearly meant ' Still quiet possesiv even after almost 20 years' . hyuga simply looked
at him stateing ' Shut up and mind you're own buisness'. After the moment break the girl started to continue with her story.

" Now that you are asking about it I think you should question Na-chan as she used to spend much more time together with Anna-chan
and also they used to live in the same dorm . "

This new information caught the attention of both males and they almost simultaneously asked the same question. Hyuga's coffe
already forgotten.

" Na-chan?"

" Yes . Weber Naruto . She is in the same department as me and also my classmate."

At this Hinata beamed at her cousin.But he on the other hand wasn't looking quiet pleased.

" Hinata-sama .Why have I never heared about this person before? "

You could sense a hint of anger in his voice . The girl at this flushed bright red , propably embarasst of her mistake or in fear of the
other men.

" S-Sorry Neji-oniisan I was planning to introduce Na-chan to you today during you're visiy. she was supposed to come here with me
but she said that she will come a little bit later cause she had something to attend to."

Hinata quickly explained. sasuke noted that the girl didn't stammer at her words as much as she used to in their childhood from what
he remembered.Just as he was inquier some more about this Weber Naruto Hinata suddenly stood up and started waving her hand in the
direction of the entrance to the cafeteria.

" Na-chan! Over here! "

At hearing that nickname both males slowly arose from their places to greet their new companion. But their were still facing the entrance
with their backs.

"I am so sorry Hinata-chan . It took me a little longer than I planed"

Anwsered a rich and cheerfull sing-song voice. Sasuke as he was turning around to greet Hinata's friend felt a strange familiarity of this
voice. But soon his questions were anwsered as he was staring at a pair of deep azzure blue eyes and a crown of golden blond hair.The
looked that anwsered him back was filled with suprise and a hint of fear? Or maybe anger. Anyway there was only one thougtht running
in his mind . And that was.....
