Striptease no jutsu
Welcome to another epic story in the works, brought to you by yours truly. Now as a warning, this story started as just a story for my friends, hence all the OCs (supposed to be my partners in crime lol), but because where I post is starting to delete people that post stuff that's too sexy, I've decided to take it public. Please don't flame me for the massive amount of OCs. I see them as a breath a fresh air and a way for me to realy get creative.
On another note, I'm not sure of how the pairings are going to turn out entirely just yet, so I'm almost certain I haven't tagged everything yet that I should. But I won't have to worry about that until it comes up.

And now, without further adeu, welcome to Striptease no jutsu!
It was a warm summer night in the shinobi village of Konoha. A gentle breeze rustled the leaves and caressed the rooftops. Most of the forest wildlife outside the great gates of the village was long asleep, aside from an owl hooting from its perch atop a tall pine, and a few bats chattering as they hunted nocturnal prey. Inside the village was deathly quiet. The shops were all dark, as were the windows of the village houses.
Most of the village residents were sound asleep, except for the two shinobi who stood on a dirt road in the shopping district. In front of them stood a new building recently built by the order of the Hokage herself. On the outside, it was very simple. The plain whitewashed walls only gained color when the rays from the rare, elusive blue moon stretched out from behind a puffy cloud which lumbered its way across the sky.
The building had no windows. It’s only noticeable way in or out was a common oak door. From the outside, one couldn’t even take a guess as to what was inside. Not even the most annalistically-skilled ninja could develop a theory as to what lay beyond the boring façade. Not even the two genius nin that stared at it at that moment.
Their eyes scaled the windowless building and its single plain oak door. The taller of the two stood solemnly, almost in a statuesque manor. A bandaged hand rested on his hip. His white traditional kimono hung off his broad shoulders, almost matching his pale skin. The moonlight reflected off his ebony eyes, making them shimmer brilliantly. His thin lips twisted slightly.
“Is this the right place?” his voice echoed off the disturbingly empty wall in front of him and his fellow shinobi. The shorter man next to him stood, shoulders slumped slightly, one hand in a pocket of his black pants. His jounin vest unzipped, revealing a black long-sleeved shirt underneath. His dark eyes made their way lazily to a small scrap of paper in his second hand.
“It’s at the address Tsunade gave us,” he said, his idle hand retreating from it’s cozy home in his pocket to scratch the back of his head. His spiked ponytail shook slightly. “Use your Byakugan, Neji, see what’s inside”.
“Way ahead of you,” Neji answered, bringing a pale hand to his almost feminine face. The veins around his eyes bulged, his once smooth skin becoming a series of small elongated hills and valleys.
Shikamaru winced. 'No matter how many times I see him do that, it still freaks me out'. Neji swallowed his breath in surprise and confusion. “Hm?” Shikamaru asked in a guttural grunt from the throat.
“I-I can’t see inside. The wall is blocking my Byakugan. It’s emitted some kind of strange chakra”. He disengaged his unique bloodline ability and stared blankly into the building front.
“Guess that’s a good thing. Tsunade probably doesn’t want anyone to see inside from out here. That would probably explain the sound seal”.
“Sound seal?” Neji asked, slightly confused.
“You didn’t see it? Geez, thought you could see everything with those eyes of yours". A threatening and frightening glare from Neji made Shikamaru wince again, then sigh. "It’s in the right corner of the door”. Sure enough, after a second look at the door, Neji spotted it. A small tag was sticking right where his comrade said. Its symbols spelt “Sound”. “That’s why it’s so damn quiet out here. This has got to be the place if it’s so troublesome”. He took a step toward the door, Neji following closely behind.
“This better be worth my time,” Neji grunted under his breath. Earlier that day he learned about the adulterous event taking place that night, and was less than amused. He turned his back on his fellow shinobi to continue his trek to the training grounds when they brought him to a halt with their sleazy toned schemes.
“You know, Neji,” the rough voice of Kiba rang through his consciousness once again, “if you sign up to judge, you’ll be deciding their fate”. Neji’s body tensed again as if it were happening then and there.
“Yea, you’ll be deciding their destiny,” Naruto slyly added, his face transforming into a devilish expression. Neji could feel their touches again as they physically persuaded him to go, both of their lips curling into feral fanged smiles. Neji awakened from the humiliating memory with a shiver of shame trailing up and down his spine.
“How could I fall for such a dirty tri-“ Neji’s dishonorable mumbling was cut off by the sudden, almost deafening music that escaped from the now open door he and Shikamaru entered through. As their senses adjusted, they were overwhelmed by the unexpected ornate-ness they were engulfed in.
The music pounded off the maroon walls surrounding them. The hardwood floor under their feet pulsed to the beat. To their right laid a dance floor where several invitees were getting loose and enjoying themselves. To the left was a cherry oak sake bar. Their ears pricked as a few glasses clinked together while the bartender readied an order. Dead ahead was where most of the action of the night would take place. Many tables surrounded a long catwalk. The black marble of the elongated stage curved towards the end. Another table and multiple chairs bordered the stage and catwalk. At the ends of the catwalk were silver poles that extended to the dark ceiling above. Red curtains set a few feet back from the stage hid the rest of the building’s contents.
The solemn male shinobi’s eyes wandered the dimly lit room until they found a familiar face. Well, half face to be more accurate.
“Shino, what’re you doing here? This is the last place I’d expect to see you,” Shikamaru yelled so the mysterious nin could hear him over the throbbing music. He still wore his trench coat indoors along with a pair of his clan’s trademark sunglasses. With nary a twitch, the young Aburame answered back, his voice barely muffled by the cloth wrapped around the bottom of his face.
“Why? Is it against the rules for me to be here?” Shikamaru choked on his own words. “Anyway, I’m not really here on my own terms. It’s only right that I be here to support my teammates,” he explained dryly. Shikamaru’s eyes searched for the Hyuuga heiress and the canine nin, but there were no hints to their presence. “Don’t bother looking for them out here. They’re backstage”.
“Wait,” Shika began to stroke his chin in thought, “if they’re back there, that means,” his voice caught in his throat and his eyes bulged. Nervously, he turned to the older Hyuuga. Much to his anxiety, Neji’s face was twisted into a half-confused, half-infuriated expression. His right eye twitched as did one corner of his mouth. Veins bulged in his temples, but, much to Shikamaru’s grief, it wasn’t from the Byakugan. The lazy ninja stepped away slowly, careful not to make any sudden movements.
'Oh man, he’s gonna snap. This could get troublesome,' Shika thought as he eased himself into the seat next to Shino.
“H-Hinata? Performing? Here?!” The anger quickly spread thoughout Neji’s mind and body. His hands balled into tight fists, knuckles cracking from the pressure. His entire body began to quiver in unadulterated rage. His eyebrows furrowed so far that the skin on his forehead wrinkled into deep grooves. Just as Neji was about to pick up a chair and destroy the entire building, two green blurs flashed in front of his eyes and he found himself restrained.
“Neji! Calm down,” a familiar deep voice ordered. Neji became more annoyed, and his eyes met with those of his assailants. Sure enough, it was Gai and Rock Lee.
“Neji-san! Don’t do it! You need to relax!” Lee’s ever-so-positive attitude oozed from his voice.
“But…Hinata….she’s going to ruin the family name!” Neji growled between tightly clench teeth. Intense anger enlaced into his strained voice.
“Neji, she’s a grown woman now. She’s not that innocent little cousin anymore. She can handle herself. Let her make her own decisions,” Gai-sensei advised. “Besides, no one is to speak of what takes place tonight outside of this building, especially not to those who were not invited, which includes your clan”. Gai and Lee could not detect any form of relaxation in Neji’s muscles. At that point, Lee knew what had to be done. He began to insist that they engage in the calming exercise.
“No,” Neji replied sternly as humanly possible.
“Yes, Neji-san, you must,” Lee pressed again.
“No,” Neji said again. By then more people had arrived, including Asuma, Jiraiya, Chouji and Iruka. There was no way in hell he was going to do that.
“C’mon Neji,” Lee begged with large eyes shimmering with tears of hope. Neji freed his arms from his teammates and crossed them, and turned his head away sharply. “Well, until you do, I’m going to hold my breath!” Lee took in a huge breath and held it. Slowly, his face went through the colors of the spectrum. His skin changed from red, to blue and finally dark purple. Once a third vein bulged from Lee’s head and blood vessels in his eyes started to pop, Neji gave up.
“Fine! I’ll do the fucking exercise,” Neji huffed. While Lee tried to suck in as much oxygen as his lung capacity could hold, Neji started the calming exercise he tried so hard to avoid. In front of everyone there, the renouned Katen master, one of the most decorated jounin in Konoha, a member of the most feared and respected clans in all of Fire Country, Neji Hyuuga, right then and there, started to sing “I’m a Little Teapot”, complete with the dance and hand signals.
Slowly, the bursting veins in his face started to return to normal and the tendons and muscles in his body relaxed. Lee and Gai stepped back and watched as Neji calmed down.
After completing the “calming exercise”, the humiliated Hyuuga dropped into the nearest chair and buried his face into his hands. He felt as if every shred of dignity he had was ripped from his soul, which was now curling into a fetal position.
“See, Neji-san, don’t you feel better?” Lee said with a nice guy pose and a pat on the back. Everyone who had the luck to see the out-of-character Neji in action tried their best to stifle the giggles shaking their chests. The laughing attacks immediately went away when an evil Byakugan engaged eye was shot at them. Shino wasn’t as giggly, but an arched eyebrow above his right eye advertised his confusion and disturbed state. Shikamaru, on the other hand…..
“Holy shit! Are you kidding me?! Ha! Ha!-Hkgh!” Neji grabbed onto the young Nara’s small neck in a death hold.
“Neji,” Lee said sternly. Not wanting to completely die of humiliation from the second stage of the calming exercise, which was “The Itsy Bitsy Spider”, Neji loosened his grip on the young Nara's neck and collapsed back down onto the table, trying to pick up the pieces of his broken dignity with his face.
A/N: I hope you enjoyed the first chapter. I love Shika/Neji, so I felt compelled to stat off with them. I'll explain seating arrangements as the story continues. Please feel free to comment!
