As always SneakyFox, nice to have you in my head. Question about the merger, the baby, and Hiroshi will all be answered in this sequel. See, I needed them. Also my promises for Sasuke will be kept.

“Aaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!”
“Sasuke! Sasuke help,” Naruto yelled as the piercing scream resonated through the Hokage’s private apartments. Thank Kami that Sasuke was home, with the sound barrier they had installed, no one outside the apartment would have been able to hear their cries for help.
Sasuke burst into the Hokage’s bedroom with wide-eyes, panicked at the thought of what could make a scream like that. He scanned the room quickly until his eyes fell upon Naruto seated on the bed next to Sakura.
The blonde looked frantically at Sasuke as he tried to hold Sakura, who was thrashing and screaming in pain. “It’s the baby, I need Baa-chan,” he yelled over Sakura’s screams. She writhed and arched, trying to escape the pain and her husband’s grip. A bright red stain was forming on the white sheets of the bed between her legs.
Sasuke gulped and felt a weight set heavily in his stomach. The baby, it was too soon. Naruto and Sakura had only been married for six months. “I’ll get Tsunade-sama. Naruto,” he grabbed the Hokage by the shoulders, “she needs to be in the hospital. You can carry her there while I get Tsunade.”
“Right,” Naruto answered calmly now that he had direction. He was intelligent enough to run a hidden village but when it concerned his pregnant wife, Naruto seemed to transform back into the bumbling idiot of his youth. He picked up his pink-haired wife and turned to Sasuke with worried eyes. Sasuke caught his chin and placed a quick reassuring peck on his lips. Naruto took a deep breath and with a nod both shinobi jumped out the window to their designated destinations.
-------
Tsunade shook her head at Naruto and looked back to Sakura on the bed. Ino and two other medical-nin were trying to secure her to the bed as she arched and screamed. “I can’t stop it,” Tsunade stated sadly, “she’s lost too much blood. We’re going to have to deliver the baby now.”
“But…” the Hokage faltered. “It’s too soon, isn’t it? Is the baby going to be okay?” he asked looking worriedly at the elder blonde.
“We can only hope,” she sighed. “Right now let’s make sure your wife makes it through this,” she said, letting the seriousness of the situation show though her voice.
Naruto gulped and focused on the screaming girl now strapped to the hospital bed, her skin glistened with a sheen of sweat and her body wracked in pain. Naruto grasped her hand and tried to comfort her. “It’s okay honey. Baa-chan will take care of you.” Wiping her head with a cool towel Ino gave him and planting small kisses on her head, he didn’t even flinch at the tight grip she had on his hand.
“Here it comes,” Tsunade called as Sakura’s grip tightened excruciatingly on Naruto’s hand. “Push now Sakura, can you hear me?” Sakura’s green eyes opened with tears and she nodded at her sensei. “Push.” Sakura took a shaky breath and screamed again as she tried pushing. Tsunade gasped and Naruto’s eyes flew to her wide ones. She held his gaze for a moment before yelling, “Everyone but the Hokage, out, now!” The three medical-nin looked up confused before filling out the door.
“My baby! What’s wrong with my baby?” Sakura screamed frantically, speaking coherent words for the first time since the pain overtook her.
Naruto tried to calm her down and Tsunade instructed, “You need to work with me, Sakura. Hold your breath when you push. Listen, Sakura,” she called and the green eyes finally focused on her brown ones. “Push. NOW.”
Sakura struggled and pushed until the small body slid into Tsunade’s waiting arms. “My bab…” Sakura began before slumping back in the bed and falling into unconsciousness.
“Sakura!” Naruto yelled in fear as he clutched her shoulders.
“She’s okay,” Tsunade said looking at him with a solemn expression. “I put her to sleep so she could recover, and so we could talk about this,” she indicated to the small bundle in her arms.
Naruto’s eyes prickled and tears streamed down his face, as he realized no noise had come from the form under the blanket. She passed it to him with a frown and he cradled it gently before folding back the blanket. “Kami-sama,” he gasped as he looked down at his motionless daughter. A light fuzz of red fur covered her whole body. Her pink hair contrasted badly with the two pointy ears perched on the top of her head. Naruto looked up at Tsunade inquiringly and she nodded somberly before he turned the tiny girl onto her stomach. He pulled back the blanket and revealed a damp red tail with an orange tip.
“How could you Naruto?” she chastised softly. “I warned you never to mate when you’re in that condition.”
“But I… We never…” Naruto spoke brokenly as he tried to grasp a memory. More tear fell from his face as guilt washed over his body. “Only… Only that one time when she told me she was pregnant. But… she was already pregnant, it shouldn’t have affected the baby… right?” Naruto looked at her for an answer with frantic eyes.
“When was that?” she asked as her heart clenched for the distraught man. He was still clutching the small bundle carefully to his chest, as if afraid to drop her.
“Before we got married. Remember when you came to my office, after Sasuke said I was acting strange? Sakura came over that night and told me she was pregnant, she stayed the night and got married two weeks later.”
Tsunade frowned and looked at the furry red bundle he was holding close. “Naruto, I… I think Sakura lied to you. This would have only happened if she got pregnant at that time.”
“What?” Naruto frowned and looking at the woman like that was an inconceivable thought. Why would Sakura lie to him? Then he remembered what Sasuke had told him the day they decided to let Sakura know about their relationship. ‘She already knew.’ Sakura got pregnant on purpose to keep him? He looked down at the small girl who had paid for their games. His eyes bleed red with rage and he shook while clutching the little one tightly.
“You might want to say something to her but… She is your wife now, and she’s going to be real hurt by loosing the baby. She didn’t know the risks.” Naruto’s eyes softened back to blue and he looked warily between his unconscious wife and the lifeless body of his fox-like daughter. Tsunade stepped forward and put a reassuring hand on his slumped shoulder. “The grave will have to be empty. No one can know about this but you and me, not even Sakura,” she said sadly. “The council will think you are breeding demons.”
Naruto looked down into his arms as another tear fell from his eyes. “I’ll take care of it,” he mumbled before gently rewrapping the bundle. Clutching the small form to his chest he disappeared from the room.
------
Sasuke watched over Sakura’s small frame as it shook violently on the bed. She had awoken yesterday and he had brought her home. It had been four days since she had lost the baby and Naruto was nowhere to be found. He had tried to comfort the girl but compassion really wasn’t his forte.
The girl’s body was racked with sobs but at least she had stopped ranting, how many times did he have to assure her that Naruto didn’t leaving them. Where the hell was Naruto! This was one of the reasons he would never marry, himself. He didn’t know how to handle women. The other was, of course, he was in love with Naruto, who was already married. Sasuke sighed, as part of this strange little family he had to try and take care of Naruto’s distraught wife in his absence. Damn Naruto, they needed him here! He was the glue that held this dysfunctional family together.
As if Sasuke’s mental rant had called to the blonde, Sasuke felt a surge of Naruto’s chakara approaching the door of their apartment. Sasuke bolted out of the room and made his way to the sitting room. Naruto walked in with his head down and Sasuke snapped at him, “Naruto, where the hell have you been! Sakura woke up yesterday and she hasn’t stopped crying! This is your…” Sasuke stopped abruptly when Naruto looked up into his eyes. The normal vibrant azure eyes were dull; he looked forlorn and lost.
“I had to take care of my daughter,” he mumbled and held up a lock of pink hair tied with a red ribbon. Sasuke gulped and stiffened, he was at a loss of what to do. “Sasuke, please,” Naruto mumbled almost inaudibly and slightly raised his arms.
Sasuke quickly stepped forward and Naruto crushed him in a tight hug. Sasuke turned his head and softly pressed his lips to Naruto’s cheek, tasting the saltiness of his tears. Naruto turned his face to meet Sasuke’s lips; the kiss was gentle and comforting. After a moment, Naruto leaned forward until their foreheads were resting together and he let out a soft sigh.
“Sakura’s in your room,” Sasuke spoke softly. “She needs your strength, Naruto. This seems to have broken her.”
Naruto gave him a final squeeze before nodding and turning toward the room, leaving Sasuke in the sitting room.
“Sakura-chan,” Naruto called as he entered the bedroom. Putting the lock of hair in his pocket, he approached the blanketed form on his bed. Sakura looked up with wide, bloodshot eyes. She bit her bottom lip and began to tremble as he neared her side. He gently rested a hand on her shoulder and she suddenly burst into tears.
Burying her face in her hands she choked out, “You’re going to leave me!”
Naruto starred in stunned silence at her shaking form before capturing her in a tight hug. “Shh. Honey, I’m not going anywhere,” he reassured his wife.
“You only married me for the baby. You’re going to leave me to get a new wife to have your kids,” she continued to sob into her hands.
“Well, that’s just silly Sakura-chan, do you really think…”
Her head shot up and her eyes blazed into his. “Do you really think that any other woman will understand you and Sasuke?! Or maybe you already found someone! It wouldn’t be the first time you cheated on me!” she spat venomously.
“Sakura! That’s enough!” he yelled at his crazed wife as own eyes flashed red. “What happened between you, me and Sasuke was stupid. And it should never have happened because more than the three of us were hurt by it!” He grabbed her shoulders and gave her a shake, “But you have to listen to me when I tell you, I love you and Sasuke; and I will never love anyone else. I promise, I will never leave either of you.”
Sakura looked up at the red-eyed blonde with water eyes as the words penetrated her depressed state. Tears fell quickly down her face and she wrapped her arms around his waist, sobbing softly into his chest. Naruto looked up to see Sasuke standing in the doorway with his arms crossed over his chest. Naruto gave him a small smile and Sasuke left the room with a slight nod.
