Sasuke: Part1

A/N: This story is more my sick and twisted way of taking all the usual pairings and fucking with them big time. Everything cliché I can find to twist, I will. And the end it will all somehow tie together. If I say too much I give it all away. It may look sweet and innocent and overdone, but it won't be. A lot of things may be offensive at some point, as I'm pretty much taking things anyway I can. I don't promise it will be great, but I shall try my hardest. It will definitely take me a longer period of time to update than with anything else I have done. This one is quite the challenge. So, I hope you enjoy. Anything you'd like to see happen just let me know I'll see if I can work it in. At this point you can ask for something insane and it may find its way in. Thankies before hand if you take the time to read it ^^

Sasuke
Part1

tor·ture
–noun
1. the act of inflicting excruciating pain, as punishment or revenge, as a means of getting a confession or information, or for sheer cruelty.

No one could understand why the boy went through it. It was beating him down, and not at all slowly. Every day, the smiles and the jokes, the way he laughed and rubbed his head so carelessly… he was not fooling anyone. Still, they turned their backs to him. They knew the smile would fade once they turned their backs. They were taught not to look back once they had shunned him. Everyone but one little boy, that is. He sat aside from the other children every day. Why should he dirty himself by “playing”? He had more important things to do. He only stuck around because home was worse. Like clockwork, the boy showed up with his smiles and loud greetings. One by one, the other children turned their backs. The boy sitting alone watched the beam of sunshine, like he always did. No one ever bothered to pay him any attention, either. All backs were turned to the hyper boy. They all expected the smiles to fade and the tears to start. He had yet to satisfy them with a loud sob. Only the other boy, left alone, knew the truth. When they turned their backs, the smile only grew. When Naruto’s eyes met Sasuke’s, as they did every day, only the young Uchiha saw how close to giving up the blonde was. And like he did every day, Sasuke raised his hand only high enough for the blonde to see.

~*~*~*~*~*~

Sasuke woke with a frown. He had that damn dream at least once a week. He threw back the covers from his form and stretched his way out of bed. He heard something break downstairs. Another fight. Sasuke rolled his eyes and headed for the joint bathroom he shared with his aniki. He heard no sound beyond the door and risked opening it. He was always cautious - Itachi had a tendency to make his life hell. Sasuke locked both doors leading into the small bathroom. He turned on the hot water and stepped inside. He had never looked forward to the first day of school. He had only the fact that he had never actually had to be in the same school as Itachi as a comfort. He found himself absently wondering what beginning of school prank Naruto had planned to ruin the school year for him this time. Dobe. He had this crazy idea that they were friends. Sasuke would have skipped, but he knew his mother would have Itachi following him as usual. The woman really did worry over her boys too much. And Sasuke would forevermore curse the day he was born, the day he earned the title of “baby of the family”. He was out of the stream of water and drying off in no time. He did not much fancy getting all pruney in a shower.

Sasuke was heading off to school without so much as a good-bye twenty minutes later. His hair was flipped out in its usual style and he was wearing the cliché punk style he had adopted the moment he had escaped a school uniform. Sasuke was the typical “emo boi”. He only paused to flip his brother off as he grabbed his bag and set off to school. He refused to take the bus, and the two and a half mile trip to school showed on his well toned figure. It was no wonder to any who saw him why he had his own fan club. A car drove up next to him and slowed down. He rolled his eyes, knowing who it was, and refused to acknowledge the man. Instead, he fished around for something in his bag, making sure to turn his back to Itachi as he searched. Itachi chuckled inside the car and sped up. He was not much for stalking his little brother; he only did it when his mother started in with the waterworks. Sasuke was pulling the mp3 player out triumphantly just in time to see Itachi’s car peel around the corner down the road. He smirked to himself, counting it as his own victory. He slipped the earphones in their places and pocketed the slim device. He shouldered his bag properly and started off on his jog to school.

As predicted, a certain mop of blonde hair was pushing through the crowd as soon as Sasuke stepped foot on campus. The raven sorely wished he could spontaneously combust, seeing as that would be preferred to being an accomplice to whatever scheme was devised now. God frowned on him, it would seem, since he did not combust, and instead had to stare the boy down with his trademark glare to prevent being glomped. Naruto settled for a bright smile and a gesture that was something between a salute and a wave.

“Sasuke! This year is gunna rock!” he announced.

“Hn.”

Naruto frowned. His friend just pushed past him and kept heading to the building. Naruto knew he could hear over the music in his ears. Sasuke was too careful of people to let it blare too loudly. Naruto trailed behind him, debating on which way would be best to rid those perfect shells called ears of those intruding headphones. If the boy wanted something in his ear, he should try the blonde’s tongue. Naruto grinned at his own thoughts. He slipped smoothly behind Sasuke, ducking down slightly. The Uchiha’s pride would be his downfall. Sasuke kept his head held high and facing forward despite sensing Naruto duck down behind him. He would not give the idiot the attention he sought so desperately. Naruto launched himself at Sasuke without warning. Said boy sidestepped the younger boy easily. When the music faded from his ears, he frowned. Naruto was bouncing away from him backwards in order to show his victory, the mp3 player and headphones held above his head.

“Lighten up, Sasuke-chan,” he proclaimed in a sing-song voice.

Sasuke would not get riled up by that. It was too childish to react. He clenched his fists tightly and quickened his steps. He closed the distance and quickly snatched up his device. He pocketed it, and turned his nose up at his friend. The whining promptly followed.

“Sasuke! Not fair! It’s always that damned music. Pay attention to me~.”

“No. You’ve done something stupid again, and you think you’re roping me into with you,” Sasuke said curtly.

“N-no I haven’t!,” Naruto protested, his shoulders hunching up. “I just don’t get to see you over summer. Ever!”

“We aren’t lovers, Dobe. Why would I want to you see? School is bad enough….”

Sasuke knew he shouldn’t insult the boy. In all honesty, they were really all each other had. And it infuriated Sasuke to no end that he had been slowly falling for the boy for the last three years. Naruto stuck his tongue out roughly at the raven. If he were not so quick, the Uchiha boy would have missed the tears forming and flying from those blue eyes as Naruto spun on his heel and bolted into the school building. Sasuke sighed and looked up. It was then that he saw the pair of blue boxers hanging in place of the flag on the flag pole. That dobe was just too stupid for his own good.

~*~*~*~*~*~

Naruto frowned most appallingly at the principle. The older blonde sat with his head in his hand. Naruto had been caught almost immediately for the prank he had pulled on his language arts teacher. The teacher had managed to get to the principle without shaming himself too much after the young Uzumaki had managed to steal his underpants and replace the flag with them. The prank was immature in itself, but what got the boy in the most trouble was the fact that his teacher had been wearing said underpants when they had been stolen. Minato did not even want to ask how it was possible. Kakashi stood behind the principle glaring at his student. He had demanded he sit in on the punishment. Naruto had gotten off too easily in the past. Being the son of the principle would do that for a person from time to time. Regardless of the relation, and even of the silver-haired man standing watch, those relations would not save the boy now. The offense was too much to ignore.

“Naruto, what were you thinking?” The scolding, tired voice sounded more fatherly than it should have.

Kakashi cleared his throat loudly. Naruto started to stick his tongue out at the man. A hand clamped over his mouth with only half a second to spare. The Uchiha boy sitting beside him had been ignored throughout the exchange of meaningful glances and awkward silences. Sasuke only sat there to discuss a class change. Naruto had been hauled in by his ear in the middle of the raven’s pleas. Naruto bit the finger covering his mouth, causing to Sasuke to withdraw his hand swiftly. The blonde found himself in need of air when an elbow connected with his ribs sharply. Minato’s harsh gaze fell on Sasuke.

“That’s enough. Detention, Uchiha. Violence is not tolerated.”

“Hn.”

“As for you, Naruto. Suspension.”

“Wha?!”

“One week should suffice. And when you get back, you can serve one month’s detention with Kakashi-san. Any objections, Kakashi?”

The older man desperately wanted to wring the child’s neck. Minato was looking back to him, and the man’s nod was accepted as an answer. Minato turned back to the papers on his desk. The top one was the form for Naruto’s punishment. The boy would have to be sent home immediately. He moved it aside to look over Sasuke’s form. His schedule was attached to the form. There seemed to be nothing wrong with the teachers the boy had. Minato suppressed a smirk. Naruto’s own schedule was identical. And Sasuke had requested all new teachers. The principle scooped up his pen and signed the paper.

“Sasuke-kun, there is no reason for this request to be approved. Go back to class. Report to the detention room after school tomorrow. Naruto, you stay.”

Sasuke was already out of his seat and bowing quickly. Naruto had been halfway out of his own seat. He clenched the arms of the chair tightly and lowered his bottom back onto the leather-covered cushion. Sasuke shot him a victorious smirk, and escaped the room. Minato dismissed an unhappy Kakashi so he could sign his son’s first month of school away. Naruto was graced with a second, almost congruous smirk. The door closed and the boy erupted.

“Dad! That’s not fair! It was just a joke,” he protested.

“Sit back down. You’re right, that wasn’t fair,” his father berated.

Naruto calmly sat back in the chair, smiling now. Of course his dad would lighten once those bastards left. His dad loved him too much.

“I should have done much worse. If I didn’t love you so damn much I’d have suspended you for at least two weeks and put you in detention for the whole semester,” Minato growled, hand swirling over the papers, detailing the extent of the punishment to be dealt.

The smile faded.

“What? But dad-”

“But nothing. What you did was inexcusable. I swear to God, Naruto, your mother is going to kill you. If I catch you doing anything like this again, there will be punishments at home awaiting. You’ll be lucky to survive your mother when you drag your butt home today. Now, go home. And go straight home, lest I call her to come get you.”

Naruto opened his mouth to protest. The finger pointing to the door was the reason he left silently. His eyes flamed in his rage. It was just a prank! He was sure his dad had done his share of pranks when he was younger. So why was he always getting busted? Being the principle’s son was supposed to pay off! He kicked open the door leading to the hallway, his bag shouldered carelessly. He almost missed the onyx eyes watching him leave. He rounded on his best friend angrily.

“He won’t take it back!” he raged.

“How did you get them off?” Sasuke mused.

The boys set off down the hall, Naruto leading the way. He was tempted to attack anything in sight as he headed for the exit.

“He was taking a shit and reading that obscene book. Not my fault he can’t hang onto his own boxers.”

Sasuke chuckled. Naruto kicked open the door to reveal the bright late morning sun. Sasuke followed him down the steps.

“And what the hell? Trying to change classes this year, too? What’s so bad about being in my class?” Naruto whined loudly.

‘Nothing, unless you count the fact that I’m falling for my best friend.’

“You’re too stupid. It might rub off on me one day.”

Naruto turned and started walking backwards. He pouted. Sasuke rolled his eyes. If only he knew how well that face worked….

“You skipping then?”

“Someone has to see you home.”

“Great. Let’s stop by-”

“No.”

“Please.”

“No.”

“PLEASE.”

“NO.”

Naruto growled low. Sasuke ignored him and walked faster, passing the blonde and taking the lead. They cleared the gates around the school with no hassle. The day patrol the school hired to make sure no one cut class had not yet arrived. They walked in silence. Sasuke’s hand was in the pocket with the mp3 player. He itched to put it on but fancied keeping it in one piece. It was a replacement for the one the boy behind him had broken the last time he had been ignored. Sasuke walked across the street and took a left around a corner. He could practically hear the boy light up.

“I love you, Sasuke!”

“You’re buying.”

Naruto smiled happily. Sasuke never spent any time with him anymore. He would not answer any phone calls. He would not see the boy outside of school. And Naruto only vaguely remembered their last trip to the local ramen shop. It had been the day Naruto turned twelve. Sasuke had saved two months worth of allowance to treat the blonde. Come to think of it, that was the last time the two really did anything like that. They either went to each other’s houses or met only in class. Sasuke had slowly withdrawn from the friendship. Naruto caught up to him and leaned over to see his face while still walking. His smile was bright and toothy. His eyes were half closed, so he did not see the color of his friend’s face at first. When Sasuke looked at him though, Naruto was frozen in mid step. Sasuke’s face was the color of his favorite food. His eyes were wide, like a deer staring into a set of headlights. He was caught with that dreamy look on his face. The look he only got when he was truly alone with Naruto. Sasuke looked away hurriedly and sped up his pace.

“If you really want it that bad, you’ll walk.”

~*~*~*~*~*~

Sasuke stared up at the ceiling. His parents had been furious, as to be expected. It seemed the principle had called to see if their son had kidnapped his. As much as Minato meant well, he always ended up causing trouble for the raven-haired teen. Sasuke’s cell phone had been blaring his ring tone all day. He had finally smashed the infernal thing against a wall, earning himself a look of admiration from his afternoon companion. He showed up at home after school had let out. His mother had been waiting with a worried expression. His father was fuming. That woman had called him home to worry about their baby boy with her. He had smacked Sasuke across the face twice, once for skipping and once more for the broken phone the boy deposited onto the kitchen table. Sasuke had dismissed himself to his room with a bow, silently. Now, he waited. He cursed himself for the umpteenth time for smashing the cell phone. There were two people he wanted to talk to more than anything. He had lost track of the hours. He had started by reading. Then he had moved on to the computer in his room, and found that his internet had been disconnected. He ended on his bed, topless and wearing only the light khaki shorts he favored. He had showered somewhere in between everything. He heard the water start up in the shared bathroom. He sat up quickly and had to hold his head from the rush. When the sparklies cleared from his vision, he stood and crept to the bathroom. He tested the doorknob. Aniki never locked it when he showered. Sasuke snuck in with a smile.

“Aniki,” he muttered.

Itachi groaned. He had only just submerged himself in the hot water. His annoying little brother needed to learn boundaries.

“What?”

“I had a bad day.”

Itachi refused to react. The voice was too small, too cute, for an Uchiha. The blush staining his collected face would never be seen to the younger onyx eyes.

“And?”

“Aniki,” Sasuke whined.

“Stop it. Don’t act like a brat,” Itachi snapped.

The boy was an embarrassment. Sure, he played his part well in public. Behind closed doors, he showed the vulnerable side of the child he was. It had only ever gotten him into trouble where his older brother was concerned, and not the kind of trouble that was appropriate. Itachi waved his hand from around the shower curtain. Sasuke was dismissed. The direction the hand waved him in held the unspoken hope. Sasuke opened the door and let himself out of the bathroom. He threw himself down onto the bed, face falling into a pillow. Aniki’s bed was so much better. Sasuke only turned his head after inhaling sharply. He faced the wall with the window. The skies were already dark. Itachi was always gone. Sasuke frowned. He felt like he was losing the person dearest to him. The water stopped and Sasuke heard the soft patter of Itachi’s feet. Silence captured the air for several drawn out minutes. When the door opened, the steam escaped with the figure. Sasuke sat up to stare. He always loved seeing his brother surrounded by the steam. It was damn sexy. Sasuke trained his face to remain impassive. He displayed more than he should have in the bathroom. He knew it was only an annoyance when he whined. He just could not help it when he thought of what it always got him. Itachi’s waist was covered with the small white towel. Sasuke was kneeling on the edge of the bed, ready to beg if needed, when the phone on the floor in front of him rang. Sasuke leaned down and picked it up. Itachi paled.

“Hello?”

“Itachi-san, can I can over? Or can you just come get me? I’m lonely.”

The message in the voice was clear. The phone slipped out of the boy’s hand. And the voice was unmistakable. Tears threatened to form. Itachi stepped forward and picked up the phone. He saw the man’s lips form words, but he could not hear them. His Naruto. Why the fuck was his Naruto calling his brother? And that voice. There was no mistaking the lust in it. What. The. Fuck.
