CHAPTER 1: SOON

The birds chirping and twittering only added to the brilliance of the new day, which had barely begun in a clear piece of land in the forest, somewhere in the land filled with sound.

Glistening metal shimmering in the sun, slashing the neck of the form as it slowly fell to the ground, spraying crimson droplets onto the pale, emotionless face of the man whom had just performed the deadly act.

His face contorted with a sickening look of malice as he beheld his work. He glanced at the newly headless figure then moved to clean the soiled blade onto the dead mans coat. ‘Not like he is going to need this anymore’ he thought with a touch of mockery in his mind.

Taking in a deep breath he began what he had been doing when he was rudely interrupted before the supposed to be assassin came and broke his morning routine.

This secluded spot allowed him to do his early morning exercises without interruption, at least that was how it was supposed to be, this man must have been a very skilled tracker.

The grace with which he moved, made it seem as if he was dancing, his fluid shift from one form to the next was utterly hypnotizing to the shadowed figures spying from not too far away. They had sent the man into the clearing earlier as a distraction for their target hoping he would make challenge enough to provide them the opportunity they hoped would slow the man down long enough for them to make their move and complete the task given to them. For the five dark cloaked figures their patience was wearing thin, how long was he going to last at this speed? As the minutes passed they thought of just attacking in force as one. Seeing as how he wasn’t even slowing in his movements in fact he seemed to be speeding up, but eying the ‘bait’ from earlier lying on the ground not far away from him as if he was not even there they soon disabused this notion.

Suddenly the blurry man slowed in his movements and his breezy motion became one they were able to keep track of enough so for them to see his sweat and extremely heavy breathing, he then stopped completely and lowered himself to the ground.

Uncertain as to what was happening the shadowed figures stilled their every movement even their breaths were slowed and barely adequate. Then the trees blew in a cold wind that came from everywhere and nowhere at the same time. “ If this is what the village sends to retrieve me then I am greatly disappointed at how underestimated I have been!” With that the figure on the ground became fuzzy, then disappeared and the men were spooked. “Genjutsu!!” the one in charge bellowed, “he tricked us.”

Now realizing the amount of danger they were in.

They did the only thing that they could think of, Run, and in the flurry of their panic they began to unleash all of the traps of shuriken and kunai, he watched from on top of a tree branch cloaked in shadow.

‘Like sheep to the slaughter.’ He thought to himself and smiled briefly as the men below triggered all his traps before they could escape a rain of weapons coated in powerful poison. They died with little fuss just the occasional moan of agony, he reminded himself to thank Kabuto for the poison, it did indeed work like a charm.

As he quickly moved through the forms lying still checking to see what they had on them, he noticed that none of them were anyone he knew. Not that it mattered much, as long as none of those eyes were blue as the day sky.

**

Not far away, hidden in deep shadows of darkness, a black-cloaked figure witnessed what had just happened. The boy was almost ready, he mused quietly, with a touch of pride in his heart. As he walked away without a sound he thought to himself of the child’s progress in this short time. He smiled, soon the time would come, soon the boy would learn the truth. The boys destiny would be revealed. ‘Soon’ it was almost a whisper in the air as shadows enveloped him.

**

The ‘boy,' finished his rushed search of his latest victims, not finding anything that would enlighten him of the state of the villages’ being. Once he was definitely sure of the bodies he stepped back from them and at a safe distance he stopped and proceeded to bring his hand up to his mouth as he took a deep breath in exhaling a sea of flames that engulfed the lifeless forms before him. Once he was sure that the fire had completely consumed them he lowered his hand, bringing the blaze to nothing more than ash.

The sun began to take shape in the early morning sky just clearing the tops of the trees, and the man took this as time to get back to the his latest place of residence. He had to hurry to get there in time to meet his teacher for his morning training, he wanted to keep up appearances and keep everyone thinking he was the timid little lap dog of the yellow eyed snake. His only reason for being here had only been to gain the power he needed in order not to be utterly defeated the next time he faced, Him. Quickly arriving at the base at which he and Orochimaru had been staying lately he went in search of the man, who was exactly where he figured he would be.

When he arrived at the door to the mans rooms he knocked to gain admittance, not because he was being polite or taking orders, but because he had heard that the snake sometimes walked about his rooms in the nude.

Upon gaining entrance to the sannins chambers he saw the hideous man called Orochimaru wearing only a small towel covered in purple flowers. Nothing more. In front of the mirror putting on his face as he called it, though Sasuke thought that there was no way to hide that hideous skin even with those paints he used to cover his mug with. Though it wasn’t just the face that made him so painful to look at, it was those sickly yellow eyes that looked as if he had painted them to get them that color. Sasuke couldn’t bring himself to look at the mans bare chest for fear of vomiting and he could just barely look the man in the face for the same reason so instead of risking forcing himself to not turn his intestines inside out he just contented himself with a glance then pardoning himself with a “I see you are a little late in getting ready this morning. I’ll wait in the hall.”

As he turned to leave as quickly as possible the older man moved and was quickly barring his exit. That disgusting look on his face spoke volumes of his wishes. Then he spoke with that light almost fragile voice “Don’t leave Sasuke-kun. I think that you should stay and…help me finish getting ready. I can’t decide what to wear.”

The look in his eyes told Sasuke that if he stayed here he wouldn’t be doing anything of the sort, more than likely the exact opposite. He couldn’t hold in the shiver of disgust that was threatening to turn into a seizure from the thought of allowing this sickly pale man touch him at all, even when they were training he made sure to keep as much distance as possible between himself and the man. “No Orochimaru- we have been through this before.”

Things normally would’ve ended there though today there was a different light in the mans eyes, “not even if I said that I wouldn’t train you anymore Sasuke-kunnnn.” The man wouldn’t take ‘no’ for an answer and no power on earth could make him say yes to the perverted cross dressing man.

His tolerance of the man was wearing thin but he made sure to keep his anger from his voice, “still Orochimaru-san I would decline, I want to be the only one you are with…and we both know that you are more than just friendly with everyone of your other students.” It was true the sick man forced himself upon all of his subordinates though most of them were more than willing. The promises of power enough for them to do anything for the man.

“ Well then Sasuke-kun I guess I’ll have to end all of my other relations and by the end of the week I will claim you as my own and you will have no choice but to be with me for I really will stop training you, and we both know that you wouldn’t like nor live through that experience.” The look he gave Sasuke promised to go forward with his threat, the man must be getting sick of the rejection.

“Now Sasuke-kun” Orochimaru stated “ will you kindly exit my rooms while I finish getting prepared for today’s training.” The raven needed no more than that to take his leave he took the dismissal and as though he was afraid the man might decide to take Sasuke regardless of his promises.

**

Orochimaru admired the retreating back and shook his head in amusement. ‘Soon Sasuke-kun.’ Orochimaru mused to himself in amusement “Soon I can take you for my own not just your body” Soon the last two and a half years would come to fruition and he could claim not just the Uchiha boys body but also his bloodline ability.

************

Coral blue eyes opened to the beautiful sunrise, their glistening depths filled with hidden sadness and longing. No more were the large sparkling orbs that once had been in there place. The blond was filled with sorrow over the one he longed for, as he observed the objects upon the box that held his clothing, pain suddenly welled up in his heart as his eyes found those dark orbs from the aging photograph of his old gennin team, he missed those days dearly he would give anything for them to come again…give anything for those pools of endless darkness. Darkness it was easy to get lost in and forget life…forget reality…forget himself, there was nothing but him and those eyes, to hell with the world. All that mattered were those eyes, and there owner, in the eyes of the raven he was…. Him, nothing more, nothing less, not the evil and malicious Nine-Tailed fox, that had inhabited his body for most of his life. Those eyes-only saw him as who he was not what he had contained in him.

That was the best and hardest time of his young life, the only time he had ever felt like he belonged like he had a place in this vast space. He had hoped to lose himself in those days to lose himself bang in those ey…

Bang…

“I’m coming dammit hold on let me put some pants on”

Throwing on whatever he could he dragged his useless carcass to the door grumbling about rude assholes not giving any consideration it was barely morning.

Opening the door he froze in disbelief, the deep crimson pupils which he beheld looked so similar to those of his former teammate his lost piece.

“What the hell do you want so early? Its not even that much passed daybreak why on earth would you bother me at this hour…Kurenai-sensei” the propriety added only to show that the outburst was one of early morning crankiness…however foe the emotion at least the formality was respectful enough.

“Naruto-san, its very important that you come with me.” Though she wasn’t nor had she ever been his teacher the formality still gave her a sense of pride at how much he has changed since his academy days.

“but why so early’ tell grandma Tsunade that I will not go for anything less than the whole Akatsuki waging an all out attack on the village or-“ pause.

Quiet.

“Sasuke” she stated.
****

The silver haired jounin could not keep his one eye focused on the room he was in. It wouldn’t allow him to see just any one thing, traveling from the hokage to the only doors in the room, how much longer would it take for the last and most important member of the meeting to arrive?

He was fidgeting…maybe he should go get the blond on his own. Nudge. He should have foreseen that sending Kurenai would only delay more than necessary. Pat.

“Kakashi”…what was that wait. Iruka!

He glanced next to him into the caring tanned face of his wonderful lover. Those wise and heart warming eyes.

“He’ll be here soon. Don’t worry”

Smirk.

“who says I was worried I was only wondering if I had enough time to finish this chapter.” Flourishing his latest novel to the smiling man facing him he gave a wink. “Just looking for some pointers…” wink. Heh, heh that should get him. Luckily it did for his usually calm lover began to turn a deep burgundy quickly looking around to be sure that nobody looked to be listening.

When he was pretty sure that nobody had heard he turned back to Kakashi. “ I look forward to it then, you better plan on showing me something new tonight….or you’ll be punished” he finished with a smug look. Kakashi, not to be outdone by his so cute and not even close to being as perverted as he himself lover. Merely shrugged and raised his right eyebrow “ Is that a threat Iru or a promise.”

At the gasp from his lover he smirked and took a quick glance around to see if anything had changed and chuckled at the shaking Gai, trying not to cry from laughter.

‘Now where was I uh- hey the doors are opening Naruto is here finally.'

Lady Tsunade, renowned medical ninja, world famous for her works in herbs and cures for almost any ailment of the human body. Capable of striking powerful ninja down with a mere slap, one of the Legendary Sannin of Konohagakure in the land of fire and the present hokage of said nation, fumed from her perch placed at the opposite end of the room at the doors, surrounded by her old comrades and old fellow shinobi…now her people….her mind muddling through many topics one of which she was waiting for. Ohhh how the blonde could make her furious his lack of respect for his elders, his pure refusal to accept defeat and his issues with being on time…how she could just kill him. How he was always late and never able to accurately understand orders given to him for his missions, how his ignorance had almost resulted in his demise. Though however much she disliked the child, she never could forget how he never ceased to put a smile on the face on whoever was around herself included…those blue orbs how they sparkled when he smiled reminding her of her deceased younger brother whom she had loved dearly.

She had found something in the child not just a soldier under her command…. SCREACH…wow the proverbial wheels in her head were not that unused…’Wait a goddamn minute…that was the entrance doors…’

‘HE’S HERE!’

Damn she should remind the maintenance to grease those doors soon, anyone who enters the room through those doors would be scared half to death from the high pitched scream echoing off the walls, that would only prove to be useful in interrogation….

“About damn time Uzumaki….” She scolded not too harshly…he was most likely in a fowl mood for being woken up this early on top of the subject for this meeting.

“I suppose you know the meaning of this whole ordeal, something needs to be done about the Uchiha problem.”

****

“You want me to do what?” The blond screamed.

“We the leaders of this village. Designate you, Uzumaki Naruto, to find Uchiha Sasuke, a missing nin who selfishly abandoned his duty and his people in the pursuit of power. And to eliminate him.” Spoke the Hokage. The monotonous voice she used spoke of her obvious disapproval of this decision.

“No! I will not do it, there is no way I would try to kill Sasuke. No matter how much he seems to have changed. He is still Sasuke. As much as a jerk as he is, I still would never do what you are commanding of me.” Argued Naruto. His friend meant more to him then any of the old power blinded louts could ever see.

“Naruto! He isn’t your teammate anymore. By abandoning the village he left not only his homeland but those in it as well. Now the council has given you more than enough opportunity to capture him and take him back alive, but seeing as how your recent endeavors to retrieve Uchiha have turned out, it has been decided that the matter has to be dealt with before it becomes a bigger issue than it already has been.” Tsunade could understand the anger the boy was feeling.

Knowing what he was feeling personally she knew what it felt like to lose a loved one, she herself had lost two of the most important people she had ever known.

“Naruto-“ she choked out. “ it must be done.”

Feeling like a true failure he took on a pleading tone on the verge of tears. “Please. Give me another chance I promise this time I will bring Sasuke back.” The watering of his eyes pulled at Tsunades heart. She wanted more than anything to embrace the child and give him what he wanted.

Opening her mouth to defend the boy she was forestalled, by one of the council who had stood after Narutos’ plea, A man sitting next to her on the right side therefore high ranking in authority among the council, Emoki Urahara.

“Young man, you have been issued an order by the Hokage directly. Are you refusing to obey your lord?” Emoki grimaced with obvious dislike for the boy.

There was a bitterness in his tone that made Tsunade want to slap him.

“If you aren’t willing to give me another chance, then I guess so.” He snapped out his features firming showing his very noticeable attempt at controlling his emotions.

Emoki turned a bright shade of red. “Well then. That said I think that there is only one thing left to do. We send other ninja to find and kill Uchiha Sasuke.” At the nods of the council on his side of the table he continued. “And you Uzumaki, shall face a punishment for your disrespect of the Hokage.”

“Very well. Naruto shall be suspended as a ninja until I see fit to allow him back. His time shall be spent in deep thought and meditation. And he shall be denied any contact till he has learned respect due those of higher authority. As for those whom are sent out on this mission will be in grave danger. There are certain requirements that any who shall face Uchiha Sasuke must have and the three man team with a captain which I shall appoint this time tomorrow.” She looked around the four-walled room harshly eying everyone individually.

Sharing a quick glance with Kakashi who was peering over his book unconcernedly, obviously seeing the meeting as a distraction from his reading. ‘Heh.’ She thought. ‘Almost.’ The man winked and was back to reading in such a quick motion she wouldn’t have noticed it had she not been looking at him anyway.

She ended the gathering with a rushed. “You are dismissed.”

Those present seeing the foul mood the Hokage was in, stood as one and as a whole bowed respectfully before disappearing almost as one in a puff of smoke and leaves.

All except three.

“I can’t believe you Tsunade. How could you- ouch?” He yelped at the whack he received from his sensei who was behind him in an instant.

Kakashi grimaced apologetically at Tsunade. “Sorry ma’am. Forgive me but I have a few choice words for my student if you don’t mind. Before he goes to contemplate respect…” at the nod from Tsunade and a reverent bow to Emoki.

He turned and gave Naruto such a look that the boy turned pale and started shaking.
“You!” He began. “How dare you speak to the Hokage that way? Did I teach you that way? You are an embarrassment come with me we need to discuss your actions before you go!-if you will excuse us” He pleasantly said towards the two others in the room, at their cold nods of approval he grabbed Naruto by the ear and they disappeared from the room.

The two remaining occupants in the room looked at each other.

“Is there anything I can do for you, Emoki?” she said as pleasantly as she could.

“No there isn’t, if I may Hokage-sama allow me to take the boy. In no time at all I will teach him such manner that you would never believe that he was the same child.” He spoke with forced politeness.

‘The nerve of this man’ she thought. “No sir, that wont be necessary I believe some time in a place where he can not disobey anybody, leaving him completely alone and desolate will teach him to respect others lest they be taken away.

The man grimaced “if that’s what you want Tsunade sama.” He feigned a bow and instead of a quick and speedy poof he turned and walked from the room taking his leave slow and annoying.

She glared daggers at his back.

He felt them, and all the while he was smiling, the slug woman should never have been given the title she now possessed, only because her sensei had been the last Hokage, the rickety old man whom took way to long to kick the bucket…
.
He reached the doors, turned back and saw that he was alone in the large room.

‘Soon.’ He thought.

“Things are falling into place…its almost time.”

The doors slammed shut.

********

Pain and frustration flowed through the veins of the coal eyed young man as he approached the old building from his past. Coming upon the grotto from his family’s home, this was where all his pain originated all the horror of his childhood, the place where it all happened. At the thought of them his heart clenched, their faces flaring to life in his sad eyes.

A cool breeze flowed into the trees surrounding his families compounds, the wind seeming to whisper horrors in his ears. The howling from the air sent chills down his spine forcing him to flinch when it touched him, the pure malevolence it contained almost forced him to vomit.

Then just as suddenly as it had come the wind had gone leaving the clearing with a feeling of emptiness, void of all life. Once again left to his own devices he began to envision the people as he remembered them and as he always would remember them.

His cold carved from stone face with no trace of emotion ever marring those firm features, those red never changing eyes always deeply difficult to look into for more than a few moments, through it all those eyes never changed.

The blank resolved face of Her. Whose anger and fury was one that would make even the most dark and hardened man leap to avoid. She could freeze with a look, and bring her victims worst fears to life. All with a smile on her face, loving all of it.

Sasuke began to quiver at these old and painful memories, his thoughts began to switch to another much more painful vision.

Flash-

‘Noooooooo’

…. Slash…drip, drip, drip….

…’Now shall we begin?’ ….

-Back.

In flurry of motion he brought his hands to his lips and took a deep breath in exhaling flames of such potent viciousness that he needed to shield his quivering eyes.

He stood there long after the flames died down leaving only glowing embers that seemed to taunt him.

‘Weak. Why are you so weak?’ They seemed to say.

He left the charred remnants of the once beautiful home, from this world of his dreams.

Coldly smiling to himself.

‘Not anymore.’

******
In this empty clearing from a place also from his past though not as distant or painful as the place he first visited in this place, Sasuke looked around unable to shake that unnerving feeling that he was being seen by eyes he couldn’t find.

Though as usual his efforts were in vain his searching never seemed to lead him anywhere, so he stopped being suspicious of everything, to set about doing what he had intended to do when he came here. What he always came here to do.

Train.

In a place where nobody could see his efforts and his secrets that he didn’t want others to know about, especially that Snake.

He calculated that his remaining time in this place, would not be as long as he usually had to train when he usually came here so he hurriedly summoned up the courage he needed to do what came next.

Then he formed the image of The Yondaime in his head and as usual the man appeared before him, bright smile and all. Those blond locks were almost unnaturally spiked and ruffled, reminding him of his very own blond dobe and his adorable foxlike grin.

“Hello Uchiha. What took you so long to call upon me once you arrived in this world?” stated the blond with an air of annoyance that reminded him of Naruto.

“I had to see something before I came here could we just get to work? I don’t have much time.” He answered hurriedly.

Then he used his chakra and hands to summon up ten perfect clones of himself down to the last eyelash they were perfect copies. With there pure condescending stance of boredom and the aggravating look that seemed to say I know so much more than you and that I am better than you will ever be.

“ok then. But just so you know the only reason I am doing this is because that something I want you to do for me.” He stated coldly, before walking away with the ten clones.

Then he called the next person on his list that he used to teach him whenever he came here. The Sandaime, the old man arrived just the way that first one did the hazy figure then solid form.

He looked the same as Sasuke remembered him, the same wise eyes and the age-wrinkled face. His whole being spoke of long lasting life and great wisdom.

“Hello Sasuke. How have things been going for you, its been awhile since you came to this place.” The man spoke with an air of joy and the pride of an old grandfather.

“I am good. Sarutobi-san” He began respectfully. “Though there isn’t much time to talk things need to be hurried. My apologies for the rudeness but my time here is never long and tonight more so than usual.” He finished.

“Alright then if your time here is short then lets be about it.” The man huffed as another ten clones came into being behind Sasuke. “Lets go shall we?” he said.

As he turned and left Sasuke distinctly heard him mumble about young people these days never slowing down. Always in a rush and never taking there time. Sasuke smirked as they disappeared into the trees heading towards another training area.

Once alone all good thoughts left his mind as he set about his next mission. The two forms solidified and came into being more painfully then the others but that was to be expected of these two. The man and the woman before him, he almost trembled upon meeting either gaze.

He cleared his mind of the horrors that were threatening to overtake him and once clear his head felt empty of any emotion and at peace. His gaze took them in one at a time and then together in one scene. His mind sent out a lingering thought to his tongue from his past and he decided to it give the thought voice.

He parted his lips and in a voice void of emotion he said, “Now. Mother. Father. Shall we begin?” with a cold small grin on his face.

Neither one spoke as they shared a glance with one another and looked back to him, after a long silence they nodded their heads. Then in turn each took up the fighting stance they liked most. Then without warning shrunk down and hurdled towards him with lightening speed. He had little time to react so as his mind processed their actions he calculated the best way to defend against them but before he could assume the stance something came to him in his head. “ Yes. We shall!” The sentence sent to his mind through his mothers voice, throwing his thoughts for a loop making him unable to concentrate and unable to avoid his fathers’ blade. Moving as quick as he could he missed a deep wound by mere inches.

Assessing his right shoulder he determined the wound to be merely a graze. Then as he looked to the place his parents had been his gaze couldn’t find them he turned around to look and was caught off guard by his mothers eyes and as he beheld those spinning wheels he was once more transported to the world he had long ago been taken to, it would be etched into his memory for the rest of his life.

Then in her resounding voice she spoke, “Let the lessons begin.”

Suddenly everything shifted to something new. A place he had never been taken to on his trips here.

‘Where am I?’ was the last coherent thought he had as his world was filled with pain beyond anything he had ever felt before, and everything went black.

“Your in my world.” Replied the monstrous echoes of his mothers’ voice.

Then as suddenly as it all began it was over. The lack of pain only gave him a moment of reprieve as his eyes fell upon something he never thought he would have to witness in his whole life. No more than ten meters from where he was standing were the forms of his parents’ not only unconscious but also covered in bruises and with a missing limb or two. Each. And to further amaze him there was only one person standing over their forms on the ground staring down with a look of disappointment and regret. The form seemed to be of a man in his middle years tall and muscular with an air of sudden movement and murder all around him. His ageless face was so wrinkle free that it shouted age and years upon years of wisdom. The cloak he was wearing didn’t even move in the wind that was strong enough to move the branches on the trees in the forest clearing and made the hair on Sasukes’ head stand on end.

The jet black hair, with wings of silvery white at the side, his pale skin, the blood red Sharingan in his eyes of a different form than any Sasuke had ever seen…Wait this man was Uchiha or at least of the bloodline.

This new revelation only made Him even more terrified of the man who could apparently take His parents on and not even have the beginnings of sweat. The man turned and looked at Sasuke, filling the boy with pure fear and terror, the kind he had only ever felt once in his living memory. The night his parents were murdered by his brother, a step towards Sasuke with a look of determination on his face. Another.

and Another.

Closer now to him…meters away. Another step

“Sasuke….”

One meter away, the last step, taken.

‘How does He know me? What are those Sharingan? Who the hell is he?’ his stammering mind could only scream echoing off the caverns of his head.

“My name is of no importance, but just know that I am here to help you.”

“wha—?!?!?!!?” was the only thing he could stutter as he was forced from the clearing and from the man.

Sasuke sat up in his bed unable to contain his rage and struck out at the only form he could make out in his room barely rayed with the light of sunrise.

The younger Sound nin flew backwards to the wall and coughed up blood.

“Uchiha-kun it is my deep regret to wake you but it was requested that you were brought to Orochimaru-sama.”

‘Damn him.’ Sasuke raged furiously in silence as he got out of his bed and proceeded to tell the child that he would be there shortly and gave an apology for the injury, which was to say that he told the boy that if he bled anymore on his carpet Sasuke would see to it that the child be punished in the most severe way, personally. And Sasuke was known here for his deep anger and a strong arm.

The boy scurried away to deliver Sasukes’ reply back to the Snake.

‘Why the hell did that man look so familiar.’

****

Back in the windy clearing, the bruised bodies reformed themselves with new limbs and blurred until they stood straight up in the place that they had been lying.

“Why did you stop us.” Spoke the female one of the two, clearly lacking any respect for the man of legend before her. “He is our child you had no right to stop us I don’t care who you think you are, we know who you are and we know what happened to y ---“

Forestalled by the raised arm of her husband who spoke next. “My dear, we must not let our anger overcome us let us leave this place and go somewhere we can meditate on these matters.”

She obediently nodded and the two blurred away in a rustle of leaves..,

The man, stood in the clearing a moment longer and spoke to the blank air. “I missed out this time, I can only hope that next time I can reach him in time, for our plan to work.”

Suddenly a tall figure walked from the confinement of the trees without disturbing the ground as he moved the man looked at him nodded the blond hair bouncing.

“The child is learning quicker than I could have hopped, soon he will have no choice but to do our bidding. Though he is stuck up and single minded at times, he will still keep up his end of the bargain. The next time he arrives here you will be able to reach him, and all of the planning we have done can be brought to fruition.”

"Soon!" The Yondaime spoke to his Uchiha partner with respect and honor.
