Hello everyone, I know that I have just started another story, but this little plot baby was started by my really good friend Tachimaru, whom some of you know as Sexy Sesshy. I was asked if I would be willing to take the story over, and I said I would help her with the writing, so now it is in my section, but it is going to be joint effort between myself and Tachimaru...XD
I hope that you all enjoy the rest of the story!
The Path to Change
Chapter one: Getting Prepared
Little did Sasuke know as he prepared for his first day at his new job that that would be the one moment that would change his life forever?
Unlike his brother he was being groomed to take over the business of a family friend that was retiring. It was a small business just a few employees nothing like what he was used to at his father’s department stores. But it was one of the reasons why he had accepted when he was offered the job.
It’s not like Sasuke really need the money. He was an heir to Uchiha Inc. after all. He just wanted to be able to prove himself. And show his father that he was just as good if not better than his “so called” perfect brother Itachi.
As Sasuke sat musing over what he was going to accomplish in his life to prove himself the phone rang bring him back to the present.
Ring, Ring, Ring
He took a glance at the caller id and realized it was his new boss Mr. Umino. Answering his phone in the most professional manner he could he said
“Hello this is Sasuke, how can I help you?”
“Sasuke it’s me Iruka.”
“How are you Mr. Umino?”
“I am doing fine Sasuke. But, you can call me Iruka were not on the job yet.”
“Sorry Mr. ….. I mean Iruka.”
“Sasuke, I am calling to let you know that unfortunately I won’t be able to escort you around the store tomorrow. But, I have personally scene to it that you are in good hands.”
“I am sorry to hear that Iruka I was looking forward to seeing you again”
“As was I Sasuke but it just can’t be helped. The young man that will be showing you around is one of my finest employees. He will help you get acquainted with all the inner workings of the store as well as the other employees.”
“That sounds good Iruka. Can I get the name of this fine employee?”
“Sure sorry, his name is Naruto Uzumaki. Well Sasuke I have to go but I will return in a day or two. We will have lunch then and you can tell me what your ideas are for the company then. Goodnight for now.”
“Goodnight Iruka and be safe.”
Hanging up the phone Sasuke thought to himself ‘this is all I need to be shown around by some loser that's probably just after my job anyway’ with a heavy sigh Sasuke mentally prepared for tomorrow and decide the best thing to do now was to get some sleep.
A/N Ok so this is the first chapter of the story, and as I stated before it was originally written by Tachimaru, but we are going to re-post it under my section, and work together on finishing it...XD As always pls read and review!
