Naruto rescues a stray neko. Naru/neji

Neji walked the cold streets. Another master had thrown him out. He got what he wanted from neji than was done.

But it was nothing new, he was used to this, being used and thrown away. But this time, well he didn’t want to admit he was kind of scared. He was thrown out in some random city, no where to go, not even if he wanted too. And now he was wet thanks to a passing car and a muddy puddle.

It would be better if he could just lay down and die. It wasn’t a bad idea. Neji found a park bench. He sat down, his entire body hurt. He would say his heart hurt, but he could no longer feel there. There was nothing left of his heart to hurt.

Neji sat there; he wasn’t sure what time it was but it was late, the park was empty. It had to be around three or four in the morning. He wasn’t sure what he was going to do. He couldn’t stay here too much longer.


"Hey you what do you think your doing, strays are not allowed here."


Neji stared blankly at the police officer who was stalking toward him, his baton was tightly gripped in his hands. Neji knew what was coming and he really didn’t care anymore. Maybe the guy would end all of his pain, for him.

Neji waited, refusing to look back at the cop. He looked at the ground, but nothing ever happened. Finally looking up neji saw the cop glaring at someone, who was griping the other end of his baton.

Neji looked at the other male. Both he and the cop were quiet and glaring at each other. Blond spiky hair going in every direction, deep blue eyes. He was tall and decently built. With hideous orange baggy pants’. And a black shirt hanging loosely on his top half. Neji scoffed at himself for staring.

"What are you doing Uzumaki?" neji looked back at the cop, when he spoke.

"I could ask you the same thing, and he’s with me. But if you really want to fight I don’t mind going a round with you. Jiroubou."

"It’s not wise to fuck with your superior." Jiroubou spat back.

"You’re only a superior because you suck orochimaru’s cock." Naruto retorted feeling victorious. It didn’t matter if it was below the belt, it was the truth.

"Knock it off, jiroubou lets go. Naruto I’ll be telling captain ibiki about this." Tayuya yanked on jiroubou glaring at the blond.

"Keep your pets at home, if I see him out again he wont be so lucky. Even if you’re a cop." Jiroubou spat as they walked away.

"fucking ass holes." Naruto glared at the two as they disappeared.


"Hey you ok?" Naruto's gaze softened as his eyes landed back on the neko. The neko's long black hair hung loosely over his shoulders. A small and slender frame, his pale eyes were soft filled with hurt. His clothes were torn. His ears were down pressed against his head, and his tail was just hanging down.

Naruto furrowed his brows. There was no way he could leave the neko alone here.


Neji didn’t answer. He just stared blankly at the blonde. What was he supposed to say, no one helps someone for no reason, Especially a neko.

Naruto sighed." Come on, lets get out of here."

He knew it, now it was just a matter of time before he was used and thrown away again. Neji glared at the blond, but followed any way’s. It’s not like he had any other options.

"I don’t live too, far from here, we can get you cleaned up and something to eat. Then you should get some rest, you look tired." Naruto smiled, this one was bad. The poor neko, Naruto really hoped he could help him.
