Itachi came through the door, slipping his shoes off soundlessly and continuing on. He’d only just joined the ANBU, but it was already…taxing. He sighed softly. Everything seemed taxing lately.
"Aniki!" Came a soft exclamation as soon as the door was closed behind the older Uchiha and the sound of small feet moving quickly over the floor could be heard. Then Sasuke turned the corner, running as fast as his little feet could carry him, a happy expression on his face.
"Aniki!" He repeated, stopping in front of him, knowing that Itachi didn't always enjoy physical contact after a mission, though the only way he knew that was because if Itachi didn't want a hug, he would push him away, if he did... well, he wouldn't do anything. "Welcome home!" He gave his aniki a small, respectful bow, trying to behave as fitted for an Uchiha, although it came out a bit clumsily and awkward.
Itachi paused, gazing down at his little brother. He smiled faintly, patting his head, sighing again. Sasuke, his little Sasuke. Still taxing, but in a way that he expected and even somewhat enjoyed.
“Thank you, Sasuke. Were you bored without me?”
"Hai!" The younger boy pouted before he reached up, wanting a hug from his older brother. "You're home later and later every day," he tried his best not to sulk, but it was clearly that he didn't like it one bit. Of course, he was proud of his aniki that had managed to get into the ANBU force, and he admired him and his accomplishments and skills more than anyone else, but it only lead to less time he got to spend with him, which hadn't been much to begin with, and he absolutely hated that.
“My missions get harder and harder the more I prove myself.” Itachi bent down, hugging his brother quickly before standing. He paused again, then smiled and indicated for Sasuke to follow him to his room. “It’s a double-edged sword, the life of an… honourable ninja. The more I advance and the stronger I get, the longer away from home I’ll be and the more dangerous my missions. One day, you’ll be away from me while I wait at home.”
Relishing in the hug, Sasuke eagerly followed his aniki as they headed towards Itachi's room, though he was still pouting, even though it was subconsciously done.
"That's not fair!" He huffed. "And that'll never happen! I wouldn't let it!" He stated seriously, only causing him to look every part the child he was.
Itachi sat in the chair by his desk, smiling slightly at Sasuke’s words. He couldn’t remember if he’d ever been that innocent. He couldn’t see Sasuke in five years time out decapitating people with special wire, hiding the bodies with forbidden jutsus’.
“You wont have a choice. It’s the way of ninja. If the Hokage wants to separate us, we can do nothing but obey.”
Sasuke puffed up his cheeks angrily, glaring cutely at his older brother. "Then I'll become the hokage!" He stated stubbornly. "Then that won't happen!" Padding over to his aniki, he hesitated for about a few seconds before he crawled into Itachi's lap, settling there. "Or I'll become ANBU and work with you," he added with an afterthought as he snuggled into his aniki.
Itachi allowed his brother a few moments indulgence while he mulled over his words. Sasuke as Hokage? He could make that happen. A few good deeds, a few good words. Set him up for success. An Uchiha as Hokage might help to balance out the troubles stirring in the clan…He shook his head, scooping up his little brother and striding to his bed, dumping him down on the soft mattress.
“You’re getting too big to sit on my lap, Sasuke.” He admonished with a light smile. He moved back to his seat, crossing his legs to discourage Sasuke’s return. “And Hokage’s don’t sit in their big brothers laps.”
Sasuke's pout deepened as he was dumped on Itachi's bed, a noise of protest escaping him.
"I'm not to big!" He protested. "I fit in your lap just right," he nodded to himself seeing as Itachi couldn't see him. "Besides," he added. "No one would know!" He had been about to say that he wasn't Hokage yet, but decided against that seeing as that meant that if he became the Hokage when he got older he'd have to stop, and he didn't want that.
Itachi chuckled at Sasuke's enthusiasm. Only a child could think so innocently while spouting off about becoming the top killer in a nation of bloodletting.
"Really? You would make time to secretly sit on my lap?" He smiled. "You are a foolish Otouto."
"I'm not foolish!" Sasuke protested feeling slightly offended, his pout deepening as he crossed his arms over his chest. "I just wike my aniki lots and lots!"
"Your Aniki likes it when you speak properly." Itachi said, smile twitching a little. "Then he knows exactly what his Otouto wants."
"..." Sasuke pouted and looked down at his hands that was fidgeting a little in his lap.
"I like aniki lots and lots!" He repeated, looking not very happy about his brother's teasing.
"Your Aniki likes you lots and lots as well." Itachi stated, smiling kindly at Sasuke. "One day we'll both like someone else lots and lots to."
"Someone else?" Sasuke asked cluelessly, tilting his head to the side, feeling confused.
"What do you mean aniki?"
“Like how mother and father are together. They like each other lots and lots.” Itachi explained. He looked sidelong at the papers he had to fill out and the report still needed to be written for his recent mission. He turned back to Sasuke. “Why don’t you go ask them about it while I do my boring paperwork?”
Sighing dejectedly, Sasuke nodded sullenly. Even though he was curious about how their parents liked each other lots and lots - because he almost never saw them talk with each other outside polite smalltalk - he wanted to spend time with his aniki. However, he also knew he would become bored while Itachi wrote his report, and there was no way to make him not do it.
“Good boy.” Itachi said, giving him an affection upturn of lips, even his eyes showing Sasuke his pleasure. “Now run along while Aniki does his work.” Without further words he turned to said work, pulling it towards himself to start writing.
"Ha~i aniki..." Sasuke let himself watch his aniki for one more second before he ran off, going to find his mother.
"'kaa-san?" he called once he got to the kitchen.
“Yes, Sasuke?” Mikoto said, turning at the sound of her youngest calling for her. She smiled at him, indicating the food in front of her. “Did you want to help me make dinner?”
Not really, Sasuke thought to himself, but it wasn't something he minded. As long as he didn't have to do the dishes afterwards.
"... ano... hai," he nodded, walking up to his mother, smiling at her. She was a pretty woman that was ageing rather gracefully; she was the prettiest woman he had ever seen, of that he was sure, and his aniki had inherited most of her features. He looked a lot more like her than their father at least.
Mikoto continued to smile, handing Sasuke some ingredients and directing him on how to prepare them.
“Did you welcome your brother home?” She asked, stirring the rice as she kept one eye on Sasuke.
"Hai," Sasuke nodded happily, happy that his aniki had been in a good mood today and actually shown him some affection, something that was reserved for him and him alone.
"Aniki's doing his report now," he added, starting to prepare the ingredients as he was told.
“So he sent you out to me? He’s so thoughtful.” Mikoto said with a light laugh. Sasuke was so cutely attached to his big brother, it was a wonder Itachi got him away.
"Well..." Sasuke fidgeted a little, putting a finger into his mouth shyly, peeking up at his mother. "He told me to ashk you shomething..." he muttered barely audible around his finger.
Mikoto giggled softly at Sasuke’s childish lisp. It was so adorable! Her son would be such the ladies killer when he grew up, she just knew it.
“What do you want to ask me, Sasuke?” She asked kindly, waiting patiently.
Pulling his finger out, Sasuke fidgeted with his feet.
"Sasuke said he liked Itachi-niisan lots and lots, and.. aniki said that someday we'd like someone else lots and lots. Like 'kaasan and 'tousan likes each other lots and lots." He looked innocently up at his mother.
"Does 'kaasan and 'tousan like each other lots and lots?"
Mikoto’s eyes widened before she quickly coughed, flushing a little. “Little kids can be so shamelessly innocent…” She murmured to herself. She hoped this wouldn’t lead into The Talk; she’d been planning on letting his father give him that speech.
“Yes Sasuke, your father and I like each other lots and lots. It’s called love.” She smiled down at him, ruffling his hair. “You know that. And your aniki was right, one day you’ll love someone else and if you love them enough you’ll marry like your father and I did.”
"But Sasuke likes aniki lots and lots," he pouted at his mother. That didn't really explain anything at all; like what was the difference between him liking Itachi lots and lots and their parents liking each other lots and lots. "Why can't I marry aniki then?"
“Because Sasuke, when you get older you start to like people who aren’t your family, in a way that’s different from how you like your family. You’ll want to spend time with that person and only that person, you’ll be upset when they’re gone. When you get married it means you’re very, very close, much closer than family get.”
"But... Sasuke doesn't like it when aniki is on missions..." he looked at his mother, finding the description suited how he felt about his aniki perfectly. Then he puffed up his cheeks stubbornly.
"Then Sasuke wants to marry aniki!" He smiled and nodded to himself, happy with his decision.
“You can’t marry Itachi!” Mikoto said, getting a little desperate. How to explain the difference between the love for family and the love for..lovers! She waved her hand in the negative, shaking her head. “You…can’t have children if you marry your aniki. All couples have children. Your father and I had you, right? You’ll marry a girl one day and have a child all your own one day.”
"Why?" Sasuke asked curiously. "Why do we need to have children?" He asked curiously, not understanding why that was a requirement.
“Because that’s why there are two people in a marriage, Sasuke. One to be the mother and one to be the father. It doesn’t work with two boys."
"But why do I have to have children?" He asked again.
“Because that’s the tradition of marriage. You can’t get married to a boy, Sasuke, unless you’re a girl.”
"Can Sasuke become a girl then?" The little boy asked softly. He really, really, wanted to spend the rest of his life with his aniki.
“No, Sasuke was born a boy and nothing can change that.” Mikoto smiled down at him, glad he’d accepted it for now. “But when Sasuke falls in love, he’ll hardly remember his aniki. Love is a powerful thing.”
"But Sasuke really likes his aniki," he pouted. "Sasuke wants to become aniki's wife," he smiled softly, looking slightly dreamy at the thought.
"Sasuke wants to be with aniki for ever!" He stated.
Mikoto sighed in defeat.
“Alright Sasuke. You can be Itachi’s wife. But, only if he says yes!” She added, mentally sighing again. ‘One day he’ll grow out of it.’ She thought. ‘One day.’
"Thanks 'kaasan!" Sasuke exclaimed happily, glomping his mother and hugging her as tightly as his small, childish arms could.
"Sasuke will be the best wife for aniki..." he murmured to himself.
“A good wife makes food for her husband.” Mikoto said affectionately. The hug had startled her, but he was such a cute kid. She would just go along with it until Sasuke grew out of it.
"Then Sasuke will make aniki's dinner!" Sasuke stated seriously, but happily before he continued doing as his mother had instructed him to, a smile on his face most of the time.
“You’re not his wife until he says yes.” Mikoto pointed out, finishing up her part of the meal. Sasuke was nearly done with his as well. “Why don’t you go ask him? I’ll finish up for you. Dinner will be ready in just an hour.”
"Hai!" Sasuke nodded before he ran off, getting up the stairs to Itachi's bedroom as quickly as his little feet could carry him.
"Aniki?" He asked softly, opening the door and peeking inside.
Itachi glanced over, his report only halfway done but the rest finished. He sat back, dropping his brush and smiling invitingly.
“Come in, Sasuke.”
Smiling, Sasuke bounded over to his aniki, intending to tell him what he had decided on, but he couldn't seem to form the words in his mouth as he fidgeted slightly.
“Did you ask mother?” Itachi asked, amused at his brothers fidgeting nervousness. He could tell just by how he was acting that he had.
"Hai..." Sasuke nodded, looking up at his brother with big, innocent eyes. "'Kaasan said that it is different to like someone else lots and lots... so much that you want to spend all your life with them and marry them." He repeated what his mother had told him.
Itachi nodded his head, imagining how his mother must have laughed at Sasuke’s innocent exuberance. He smiled. If she only knew of how often her youngest crawled into his Aniki’s bed late at night…
“Yes. Marriage is a way to say you like no one else more than that person.”
Sasuke nodded before he smiled happily up at Itachi, small hands supporting himself on his older brother's thigh.
"Sasuke wants to be aniki's wife!" He stated seriously, but still smiling.
Itachi paused, a little startled by Sasuke’s statement. He smirked, patting Sasuke’s head lightly.
“I’m afraid you can’t, Sasuke. Only girls and boys get married to each other, not two boys and certainly not brothers.”
"But 'Kaasan said I could," Sasuke pouted unhappily, clinging a bit more to Itachi. "If Itachi-niisan said yes, she said I could," he looked pleadingly up at his brother.
"Please, aniki? I'll be the best wife evah!" He exclaimed.
Itachi could also imagine his mother trying to explain to Sasuke how he couldn’t marry his own brother, Sasuke refusing and stubbornly doing the irrefutable ‘why’ response. He smiled, shaking his head.
“Well if she says it’s okay I can’t argue. But it’s only pretend marriage until you’re old enough to really marry, alright?”
"Thank you aniki!" Sasuke bounced and hugged his brother happily.
"Nee, aniki?" He asked after a while, looking curiously up at him. "Other than the wife making the other food... what does married people do?"
“They take care of each other, spend time with each other, and show affection to one another.” Itachi smiled at his enthusiasm, running a hand through Sasuke’s kitten-soft locks.
Happy to hear that, Sasuke giggled softly as he climbed into Itachi's lap, giving him a proper hug, without thinking it wrong straddling Itachi's hips in the process.
"Like you lots and lots!" He giggled again.
Itachi sat still, allowing Sasuke to get situated. He’d been feeling a little differently about Sasuke’s proximity lately; a little too attached to his heat and skin. He wasn’t stupid, he knew at his age he was just starting puberty, but to be affected by Sasuke…
“So, Sasuke, did you make me dinner?”
"Hai," Sasuke nodded happily. "'Kaasan helped, but tomorrow I'll make it by myself," he replied proudly, nuzzling into his older brother's chest.
Itachi lifted a hand, rubbing small circles into Sasuke’s back. Just a small indulgence; he wouldn’t let himself get carried away.
“I look forward to it, Sasuke.”
Letting out a sound that almost sounded like a purr, Sasuke relaxed against his aniki, happy to get the attention Itachi was giving him.
“How are you doing in the academy, Sasuke?” Itachi asked, ignoring the sensations in his belly that only arose when Sasuke got close.
"Top grades like usual," Sasuke muttered softly, closing his eyes contently. "The tests are too easy."
“You’re an Uchiha; that’s how it should be.” Itachi said, just resting his hand on Sasuke’s back. “When did 'Kaasan say dinner would be ready?”
"Soon," Sasuke replied before looking hopefully up at his older brother.
"Nee, aniki?" He asked with a smile, hoping Itachi would say yes. "Can you train with me after dinner?" He bit his lower lip. He knew that even if Itachi said yes, the chances that he would actually go through with it in the end was slim, but he never gave up hope that his aniki would train with him.
“I need to get this report done and sleep. Missions get much harder and strenuous the higher you go and you must remember to take care of yourself whenever you can.”
"...oh...." Sasuke nodded, looking down a bit disappointed; that meant that he had to train by himself... again. He understood that it was selfish of him to want his aniki to train with him, but he couldn't help it. Besides, he always did his very best when Itachi was with him.
Itachi lowered his eyes, hooding his dark orbs as he gave Sasuke a soft smile. He bent forward, kissing his forehead softly and rubbing his back again.
“A good wife is self-reliant; a husband can’t always be there for them.”
"I know that!" Sasuke protested. "It's just... I really really like training with aniki..." he sighed softly as he bit his lower lip.
"But I'll train and get better so aniki wants to train with me!" He stated, deciding he would become strong, so that Itachi would take him seriously and want to train with him, not just doing it because Sasuke persuaded him to.
Itachi’s lips twitched at that. Sasuke was so attached to him.
“Good. Now, I think dinner should be ready soon.” Itachi said, nudging Sasuke to get off of him.
Nodding, Sasuke willingly jumped down and waited for Itachi to get up before grabbing his hand and pulling him lightly downstairs, a slight bounce in his steps.
Chuckling at Sasuke’s actions Itachi followed, withholding from mimicking Sasuke’s boisterous gait.
“Mother, is dinner ready?” Itachi asked as they reached the kitchen. Mikoto turned, shaking her head with a smile at Sasuke.
“Almost. Give it another ten minutes; but you can set the table if you’d like to help me.” Itachi nodded his head.
“Yes, mother.”
Sasuke frowned and looked at Itachi thoughtfully. He had never seen his father set the table...
"Aniki, sit down," he smiled, going to get the plates. "I can set the table."
Both Itachi and Mikoto gave raised brows, Itachi simply moving to sit down while Mikoto watched them.
“Are you trying to be a good wife, Sasuke?” Mikoto asked, tilting her head slightly at her youngest.
"Hai," Sasuke giggled, carrying the heavy, for a 7 year old, plates around and putting them on the table, even though it was quite a task for him, barely tall enough to have a head above the table.
Mikoto shook her head, returning to the food while she listened to her two sons. Itachi placed his hands in his lap, smiling at Sasuke’s attempts at being a good wife.
“Sasuke, don’t forget to wash your hands before you eat.” Itachi said.
"I won't," Sasuke pouted slightly at the fact that Itachi thought he had to remind him. Once he had managed to get everything out on the table, he bounced off to the bathroom to wash his hands.
“He’s so obedient to you.” Mikoto commented. Itachi chuckled, nodding despite her turned back.
“Did he refuse to accept the fact he can’t be my wife.” He watched his mothers shoulders slump slightly and guessed the truth before her mumbled yes.
Satisfied he had managed to set the table without breaking anything or dropping anything on the floor, Sasuke hummed happily to himself as he washed his hands.
"Nee, 'kaasan," he said once he came back into the livingroom. "Is the food done now?"
Mikoto nodded, placing the hot food into the serving dishes and placing those on the table. She smiled, smoothing out her clothing and washing her hands, drying them while she spoke.
“Don’t touch the food yet, Sasuke, it’s hot.” She turned back, smiling. “You boys wait here while I go get your father.”
"Hai," Sasuke nodded, looking at the food. "What of this did I make?" He asked, trying to find any evidence that it was him, not his mother that had done it. After all, he wanted Itachi to eat the food he had made.
Mikoto laughed at her youngest sons words, indicating the main dish.
“You helped with this one, Sasuke. I’m sure your husband will find it delicious, after all, a good wife makes her food with love.” She nodded her head to Itachi, who was smirking softly, and left to find her own husband.
"Is that true?" Sasuke asked, looking hopefully at Itachi, finding he liked being his aniki's wife. "You'll like it?"
Itachi nodded his head, waiting politely for his parents before he would serve himself.
“A good husband will enjoy his wife’s cooking, so long as it was made with love.” It felt a little strange stating something so…sappy, but for Sasuke, he would do strange things.
Grinning happily, resisting bouncing in his chair as he wanted to, Sasuke was really satisfied that Itachi would like his cooking.
"You'll like it lots and lots?" He asked, biting his lower lip.
“If you made it with me in mind, yes.” Itachi said, reaching up to ruffle his dark locks.
Giggling softly, Sasuke shut his eyes and stuck his tongue out, trying not to get any hair in his eyes as Itachi ruffled it.
Mikoto returned, Fugaku in tow. They sat down at the table, dishing up after Mikoto nodded to Itachi that it was alright. The oldest son served himself, taking a little more of the main dish than he normally would have.
Noticing that proudly, Sasuke was smiling as he ate his dinner, deciding that it had been a really really good day. Not only had Itachi come home from a mission, but they had spent time together, and he had become Itachi's wife.
They ate in silence, Itachi enjoying it. When it seemed like they were done Mikoto smiled, saying into the air.
“A good wife clears away her husbands dishes.” She took her own advice, scooping up Fugaku’s plate as well as her own, telling him the she’d explain later when he gave her a questioning look.
Eyes widening, Sasuke made a small grimace, though he didn't protest, even though he hated clearing dishes. Getting up, he grabbed his and Itachi's plate and hurried into the kitchen with it.
Itachi chuckled mildly, Fugaku’s confused and questioning gaze on him. He shrugged softly, meeting the gaze with a blank look.
“It’s a phase.”
Clearing both his and Itachi's plates, Sasuke returned to his adored aniki.
"Ano... I'm going to train," he smiled at his aniki before he headed outside, just stopping to put on his shoes. After all, Itachi still had to do his report so he couldn't, and Sasuke knew better than nagging on his older brother.
Itachi nodded his head at Sasuke, standing up and bowing slightly to his father.
“Good-night, father. I’m going to go finish my report and then go to bed.” His father waved his hand, dismissing him. Itachi looked away, heading to his room.
~~~~~~
Hours later, Sasuke was laying on his back on the ground, panting heavily as he tried collecting himself, exhausted after exercising himself harder than he had ever done before. But he smiled, because he had made progress. Hopefully Itachi would be proud of him the next time they trained together.
Slowly he managed to pick himself up from the ground, wincing a little as his body hurt. Starting to walk home, he could not make himself move very fast.
Fugaku and Mikoto had already gone to sleep, leaving Itachi alone to send his report into the Hokage via hawk and silently wait to hear the sound of Sasuke’s return.
Heading straight towards the shower once he was home, Sasuke was yawning and longing to slip into bed as soon as possible. Not even bothering to lock the bathroom door behind him, he stripped bare and hit the shower. Once done, he dried himself and put on a pair of boxers. Padding out of the bathroom, he could barely keep his eyes open as he carefully opened the door to his aniki's bedroom, thinking he might be asleep.
Itachi turned onto his side on his bed, looking Sasuke up and down. He was wet and would get cold if he went back to his room and didn’t get proper sleeping clothes on. He smirked, lifting his blanket invitingly.
Smiling as he saw his aniki was awake, and inviting him to join him, Sasuke hurried over and crawled in beside his older brother.
"Mm, you're warm," he muttered as he cuddled closer to him.
“And you’re not fully dry.” Itachi chuckled, wrapping his arms around the younger boy. He told himself it was to keep Sasuke warm, but he knew another part just enjoyed how soft his brother was.
Squirming until he was being spooned by Itachi, Sasuke closed his eyes happily. Not only did Itachi let him get into his bed, but he had wrapped his arms around him, which felt like heaven to the little boy.
Itachi bit his lip as Sasuke moved, the friction heating things in him that had only just learned how to awaken and certainly hadn’t mastered the when. He sighed softly, keeping his hips away from Sasuke, murmuring into his ear.
“Go to sleep, Sasuke.”
"Hai," Sasuke muttered sleepily, rubbing his eyes tiredly. "'Night aniki," he smiled happily to himself and moments later he was fast asleep.
It took Itachi a little while longer for sleep to take him, but eventually he was calmly pressed to his brother and breathing deeply.
~~~~~~
Blinking his eyes open, Sasuke was at first not sure what had woken him up. He was obviously in his older brother's bed, being held just like when he had fallen asleep, and there wasn't anything special in the room or outside the window to wake him up. Well, that was what he thought until he heard another groan coming from behind him.
Eyes widening, he turned his head, seeing that even though he was making those sounds, Itachi was still asleep. Slightly worried and thinking he was hurting, Sasuke sat up and took in all of Itachi's shape in the dark room, trying to figure out what was wrong, though it wasn't anything visible as fas as he was concerned.
Itachi moaned again, dreaming of no one person. All he could sense was skin, warm skin, soft skin, running along his body. The skin rubbed particularly at his groin, smooth and firm strokes to his hardened flesh. His body tensed, his belly tightening as the nameless person brought him to orgasm and smuggled a soft cry from his lips.
Startling slightly as a small cry emitted from Itachi's lips and his body spasmed beneath the covers, bringing Sasuke's attention to his groin area, Sasuke's cheeks turned a slight pink at the sight of his brother all breathless and panting on the bed, his face having a blissful expression. One Sasuke had never seen on him before.
However, he soon turned to look at the covers where he knew Itachi's hips were beneath and tilted his head. He didn't know why Itachi had bucked his hips like that, but there had been something odd he couldn't quite put his finger on about the slightly distinguishable shape of his brother as he had done that.
Curiously he peeled the covers off of them and his eyes widened as he spotted a wet spot in Itachi's boxers. His brother, his perfect brother, had wet his bed? No, he thought to himself with a small frown. That wasn't possible, because it didn't smell pee as it had when he had wet his bed when he was smaller, but there was another smell in the air that he had never smelled before, and he thought it was very strange. Looking up at his brother again, he lay back in his previous position, pulling the covers over them again. He would have to ask his brother about it the next morning. Yawning, he snuggled back against his brother before he fell asleep once more.
Itachi woke hours later, snuggled up against Sasuke, although much closer to him than he remembered. He pulled away, noticing a slight…stickiness. He paused, heart beat accelerating when he lifted the covers. The little stain of stickiness had smeared across Sasuke’s legs, where Itachi himself had clung and pulled him against his body, inevitably his groin.
Nocturnal emission. He’d had a wet dream with Sasuke in his bed. He’d rolled and grasped him, rubbing his own brother against his limp manhood. Itachi felt a small thrill roll down his spine, sliding out of the bed to quickly pull his boxers off and pull new ones on. He looked for a towel, walking quickly to the bathroom and wetting it with warm water. He came back, gently turning Sasuke over and wiping him off, fighting a blush of shame off his cheeks as he methodically rubbed at his brother’s thighs.
Making a slightly mewling noise in the back of his throat as his thighs were rubbed, it didn't take long before Sasuke was once again awake.
"...'niki?" He asked sleepily, looking down at where Itachi was holding onto his thighs, a thigh in one of his hands. "What're you doin'?" He asked softly.
“Washing you.” Itachi stated, not elaborating further. He spread Sasuke’s legs, inspecting his inner thighs for any offending stains. Seeing none, he set Sasuke’s limbs back on the bed, standing and putting the towel in the dirty laundry. He came back to the bed, laying down with a respectable distance between them.
Pouting, Sasuke knew there was something Itachi wasn't telling him, and he didn't like it when Itachi didn't tell him things.
"Why did you wash me?" He asked, inching closer to his older brother. "I.. I didn't wet the bed, did I?" He asked, almost panicked as he sat up, looking around, but he relaxed once he saw he was wearing the same boxers as before, without any stains on.
“No Sasuke. Your aniki did…a special kind of wetting the bed last night and it got on you.” Itachi said to sooth the boy’s frantic look. “I think I’ve gotten too old to share the bed with you, Sasuke.”
"Oh... but..." Sasuke started, confused. "It didn't smell like pee what you did..." he blinked, but forgot entirely about that subject at the next thing Itachi said.
"No...no!" He protested, eyes wide as he could almost feel his little world crumble and shake. "Sasuke... Sasuke doesn't mind. Really!" He looked almost desperately up at his older brother, knowing he never fell asleep as easily or slept as well in his own bed all alone.
"Please..." he looked down. "Please don't..." he sniffled softly.
Itachi closed his eyes. Of course Sasuke had been awake when it happened. Why wouldn’t he have been? He sighed, giving Sasuke a soft, slightly tired look, masking his embarrassment.
“It wasn’t pee. It was something…something only big boys do. A part of growing up. You stop wetting your bed with pee and switch to that.” Itachi explained. “And it’s not polite to wet the bed like that when sharing it with other people, Sasuke. You wouldn’t want to share a bed with me if you still wet the bed, right?”
"No... but... that's different..." Sasuke muttered dejectedly. "It.. it smelled weird... but not bad like pee..." he added before looking up at Itachi.
"But that's not the point!" He exclaimed. "If I wet the bed you wouldn't want to share it with me either. But.. I don't care if you do..." he blushed lightly. "You looked really happy when you had..." he made a small gesture, not sure what to call it. "And if you're happy, it can't be that bad, can it?"
Itachi flushed lightly. Had Sasuke just said his sperm didn’t smell bad? And that he’d looked happy when he came? Oh god this was worse than he thought…and if he really pushed, Sasuke just might run to their mother in tears…his pride just couldn’t take that risk.
“Sasuke, listen to me carefully, alright?” Itachi began, reaching out to touch the young one’s shoulder. “If you keep sharing my bed you can’t tell mother or father about me wetting the bed, alright? Wetting the bed is supposed to be very private and they would get very, very mad and force you to stop if they found out.”
Nodding hurriedly, Sasuke smiled a little, hope lighting up his face.
"I won't," he promised, biting his lower lip gently. "Does that mean... I can still sleep with you?" He asked, noticing the slight pink in Itachi's cheeks, inwardly giggling a little. He had never seen Itachi embarrassed before, and it was a little weird, but he knew if he laughed out loud, Itachi wouldn't be very happy. He hadn't laughed when Sasuke was little and wet his bed, so he wouldn't laugh now.
“Yes…” Itachi said, already regretting the predicament he was in. It wasn’t like Sasuke slept with him regularly anyway but now he’d just try and avoid it as much as possible.
"Thank you!" Sasuke crawled close to hug his brother happily he hadn't been banned from his bed.
"Love you aniki," he murmured as he prepared to go back to sleep.
“Love you to, otouto.” Itachi sighed in defeat. He didn’t feel like or need to go back to sleep. He could head out and see if there were any missions, or just lay there and watch Sasuke sleep.
Smiling, Sasuke took a bit longer this time to fall asleep, but as he did, his last thought was that he was going to continue sharing Itachi's bed.
~~~~~~
Itachi sighed the next night, stripping down to just his boxers. He’d already gone through the routine of paperwork, dinner, and showering, though the order changed day by day. His hair was a little wet, but he planned to read some of his book before sleep.
Once he was certain their parents had gone to bed, Sasuke tip-toed from his own room to Itachi's and knocked softly, opening the door slightly before peeking in.
"Aniki?"
Itachi closed his eyes, holding the book open with his index finger. He couldn’t just refuse Sasuke, could he? Well he could, but a part of him didn’t want to. The clan, the clan was tightening its hold on him every chance it got. He needed a reprieve, a moment of relaxation, and despite himself Sasuke gave him just that. Without Sasuke he might have…
“Come in.”
Smiling, Sasuke closed the door silently behind him before bounding over to the bed, crawling in beside the teen.
"What are you reading?" he asked, looking curiously at the book.
“Just a mystery novel.” Itachi said, opening it up again. Hopefully, if he stayed up late enough, he’d sleep short enough to not dip into another wet dream.
"Mysteries!" Sasuke exclaimed silently, but excited.
"Can you read loud to me, please?" He asked shyly, knowing it could be too much to ask for from the older boy. After all, he realised that Itachi was a lot older than him, and had to find it boring to indulge his younger brother all the time
Itachi shook his head lightly, the omnipresent locks grazing his cheeks.
"It's more mature. You wouldn't like it."
"Oh..." Sasuke pouted. "How do you know I won't like it?" He asked stubbornly
"Because there's no action." Itachi said, smiling faintly. "It's all about the emotions of discovering the truth to the mystery."
"Oh..." Sasuke replied disappointed, laying down beside him. "Are you going to read long?"
"Until I feel tired yes. Do you not like the light?"
Shaking his head, Sasuke wiggled until he was laying close to Itachi in a way that Itachi shadowed for the light.
"I'm good," he yawned, closing his eyes.
Itachi smiled down at him, returning to his book. He didn't reach to flick off the light for until a couple hours later, and Sasuke had been so quiet he was sure he'd fallen asleep. Itachi settled down under the covers, putting his worries aside for sleep.
And Sasuke had fallen asleep, drooling slightly in his sleep. However, he was, several hours later, woken up again by the same sounds as yesterday.
Itachi breathed heavily, nearly panting. Hot, he felt so hot, and the person of his dreams was rubbing all the right places. He shuddered as soft hands wrapped around his erect cock, pumping so fast, tugging so harshly, trying to force his orgasm this time.
Watching his brother with wide eyes, Sasuke flushed slightly again at the sight of his brother so... well... not composed. So unlike any other time, no matter what, and the little boy felt a slight thrill that he was the only one to witness it. Shifting a bit, he continued to watch in fascination, though this time he knew how it would end. Talking about which....
Itachi had said it wasn't pee, and he didn't think so either, but... since it wasn't pee... what was it? Sasuke couldn't deny that he was very curious, especially as it came to his brother, and without thinking much of it, Sasuke wondered how this kind of 'pee' would look like, so he tugged the blanket off his brother, but he stopped at the sight of the very prominent bulge in his boxers. There... wasn't supposed to be a bulge like that there... was it? Sasuke became uncertain. Covering his brother up again, he lay down, waiting for it to pass.
Itachi moaned, the nameless persons hand clamping down, a hot wetness teasing his nipple to erectness. He shuddered, cumming with a small cry, sinking bonelessly back onto his bed.
Again being a spectator to the show on Itachi's face as he came, Sasuke smiled at how carefree and peaceful Itachi looked once all the tension was gone from his body. For some reason, it made Sasuke hope this would happen almost every night. Looking down to his crotch area again, Sasuke fidgeted a bit in hesitation before he pulled off the blanket, finding the bulge gone. Eyes wide, Sasuke looked up at Itachi's face again. What was that bulge and why had it come and disappeared?
Itachi rolled in his sleep, his lazy, open body craving the warmth that radiated from right next to him. He wrapped his arms around Sasuke, nuzzling his hair softly and pulling the small body flush against his before sinking back into sleep.
Sasuke emitted a small giggle as he was hugged flush against his older brother, nuzzling his chest. Whatever that bulge was, it couldn't be a bad thing, not if it made Itachi feel good and become so relaxed.
Next morning found them still like that, only with Sasuke's small arms wrapped around Itachi's neck and a leg thrown over Itachi's hip.
Itachi fluttered his eyes open, taking in their position with mounting horror. He suppressed it to a low buzz, lifting the blankets slightly. There, a little on Sasuke’s legs again, but also on his stomach. He sighed. He supposed if Sasuke didn’t mind then the only problem was him, but really, this was ridiculous.
He slipped out of the bed, pushing Sasuke lightly onto his back to repeat the previous days exercise of changing into clean boxer, wetting a towel and washing Sasuke clean of his sperm.
Eyes only opening as much, or rather as little, as needed to see the contours of his aniki, Sasuke just smiled, knowing what had happened this time.
"Morning aniki..." he murmured softly with a yawn before, as Itachi was done cleaning him, rolled over on his side to sleep on.
Itachi shook his head at his little brother. He really needed to stop this before it went too far. Sasuke was young and impressionable. He could very well grow up thinking incest was fine. He sighed. He couldn’t bring himself to deny his brother though. Not when he was actually there in the room with his little pouty lips wibbling at him.
After a while it became clear to the boy that Itachi wasn't going to lay down beside him again.
"Aniki?" He asked, reaching out for him, wanting the other beside him as he slept.
Itachi shook his head. On this, at least, he would stand.
“I need to get ready for my work. You sleep, otouto. I’ll be back by tonight, I promise.”
~~~~~~
A short while after Itachi had left Mikoto was up. She walked into Sasuke’s room at first, but upon seeing his empty bed thought nothing of it and simply headed for Itachi’s room. She knocked politely and listened for sounds of movement. Her eldest usually refrained from calling out, especially when Sasuke shared a bed, and would walk to the door. Upon not even a stirring she opened the door, smiling brightly when she saw her youngest. She came to the bed’s edge, sitting down and reaching for his small shoulder.
“Sasuke, time to wake up. I’m going shopping and I’d like my little helper to come with me.”
"Mmm," Sasuke made a small sound of protest, turning around.
"Five more mins..." he mumbled.
Mikoto smiled broader, moving her hands to Sasuke’s sides, tickling her smallest baby.
“Oh no no no sleepyhead, you have to wake up now!”
"Aaaaah!!!!" Sasuke cried out in surprise, squirming and wiggling to escape the tickling hands of his mother.

-------
Itachi came through the door, slipping his shoes off soundlessly and continuing on.
~~~~~~
Hours later, Sasuke was laying on his back on the ground, panting heavily as he tried collecting himself, exhausted after exercising himself harder than he had ever done before. But he smiled, because he had made progress. Hopefully Itachi would be proud of him the next time they trained together.
Slowly he managed to pick himself up from the ground, wincing a little as his body hurt. Starting to walk home, he could not make himself move very fast.
Fugaku and Mikoto had already gone to sleep, leaving Itachi alone to send his report into the Hokage via hawk and silently wait to hear the sound of Sasuke’s return.
Heading straight towards the shower once he was home, Sasuke was yawning and longing to slip into bed as soon as possible. Not even bothering to lock the bathroom door behind him, he stripped bare and hit the shower. Once done, he dried himself and put on a pair of boxers. Padding out of the bathroom, he could barely keep his eyes open as he carefully opened the door to his aniki's bedroom, thinking he might be asleep.
Itachi turned onto his side on his bed, looking Sasuke up and down. He was wet and would get cold if he went back to his room and didn’t get proper sleeping clothes on. He smirked, lifting his blanket invitingly.
Smiling as he saw his aniki was awake, and inviting him to join him, Sasuke hurried over and crawled in beside his older brother.
"Mm, you're warm," he muttered as he cuddled closer to him.
“And you’re not fully dry.” Itachi chuckled, wrapping his arms around the younger boy. He told himself it was to keep Sasuke warm, but he knew another part just enjoyed how soft his brother was.
Squirming until he was being spooned by Itachi, Sasuke closed his eyes happily. Not only did Itachi let him get into his bed, but he had wrapped his arms around him, which felt like heaven to the little boy.
Itachi bit his lip as Sasuke moved, the friction heating things in him that had only just learned how to awaken and certainly hadn’t mastered the when. He sighed softly, keeping his hips away from Sasuke, murmuring into his ear.
“Go to sleep, Sasuke.”
"Hai," Sasuke muttered sleepily, rubbing his eyes tiredly. "'Night aniki," he smiled happily to himself and moments later he was fast asleep.
It took Itachi a little while longer for sleep to take him, but eventually he was calmly pressed to his brother and breathing deeply.
~~~~~~
~~~~~~
Itachi sighed the next night, stripping down to just his boxers. He’d already gone through the routine of paperwork, dinner, and showering, though the order changed day by day. His hair was a little wet, but he planned to read some of his book before sleep.
Once he was certain their parents had gone to bed, Sasuke tip-toed from his own room to Itachi's and knocked softly, opening the door slightly before peeking in.
"Aniki?"
Itachi closed his eyes, holding the book open with his index finger. He couldn’t just refuse Sasuke, could he? Well he could, but a part of him didn’t want to. The clan, the clan was tightening its hold on him every chance it got. He needed a reprieve, a moment of relaxation, and despite himself Sasuke gave him just that. Without Sasuke he might have…
“Come in.”
Smiling, Sasuke closed the door silently behind him before bounding over to the bed, crawling in beside the teen.
"What are you reading?" he asked, looking curiously at the book.
“Just a mystery novel.” Itachi said, opening it up again. Hopefully, if he stayed up late enough, he’d sleep short enough to not dip into another wet dream.
"Mysteries!" Sasuke exclaimed silently, but excited.
"Can you read loud to me, please?" He asked shyly, knowing it could be too much to ask for from the older boy. After all, he realised that Itachi was a lot older than him, and had to find it boring to indulge his younger brother all the time
Itachi shook his head lightly, the omnipresent locks grazing his cheeks.
"It's more mature. You wouldn't like it."
"Oh..." Sasuke pouted. "How do you know I won't like it?" He asked stubbornly
"Because there's no action." Itachi said, smiling faintly. "It's all about the emotions of discovering the truth to the mystery."
"Oh..." Sasuke replied disappointed, laying down beside him. "Are you going to read long?"
"Until I feel tired yes. Do you not like the light?"
Shaking his head, Sasuke wiggled until he was laying close to Itachi in a way that Itachi shadowed for the light.
"I'm good," he yawned, closing his eyes.
Itachi smiled down at him, returning to his book. He didn't reach to flick off the light for until a couple hours later, and Sasuke had been so quiet he was sure he'd fallen asleep. Itachi settled down under the covers, putting his worries aside for sleep.
And Sasuke had fallen asleep, drooling slightly in his sleep. However, he was, several hours later, woken up again by the same sounds as yesterday.
Itachi breathed heavily, nearly panting. Hot, he felt so hot, and the person of his dreams was rubbing all the right places. He shuddered as soft hands wrapped around his erect cock, pumping so fast, tugging so harshly, trying to force his orgasm this time.
Watching his brother with wide eyes, Sasuke flushed slightly again at the sight of his brother so... well... not composed. So unlike any other time, no matter what, and the little boy felt a slight thrill that he was the only one to witness it. Shifting a bit, he continued to watch in fascination, though this time he knew how it would end. Talking about which....
Itachi had said it wasn't pee, and he didn't think so either, but... since it wasn't pee... what was it? Sasuke couldn't deny that he was very curious, especially as it came to his brother, and without thinking much of it, Sasuke wondered how this kind of 'pee' would look like, so he tugged the blanket off his brother, but he stopped at the sight of the very prominent bulge in his boxers. There... wasn't supposed to be a bulge like that there... was it? Sasuke became uncertain. Covering his brother up again, he lay down, waiting for it to pass.
Itachi moaned, the nameless persons hand clamping down, a hot wetness teasing his nipple to erectness. He shuddered, cumming with a small cry, sinking bonelessly back onto his bed.
Again being a spectator to the show on Itachi's face as he came, Sasuke smiled at how carefree and peaceful Itachi looked once all the tension was gone from his body. For some reason, it made Sasuke hope this would happen almost every night. Looking down to his crotch area again, Sasuke fidgeted a bit in hesitation before he pulled off the blanket, finding the bulge gone. Eyes wide, Sasuke looked up at Itachi's face again. What was that bulge and why had it come and disappeared?
Itachi rolled in his sleep, his lazy, open body craving the warmth that radiated from right next to him. He wrapped his arms around Sasuke, nuzzling his hair softly and pulling the small body flush against his before sinking back into sleep.
Sasuke emitted a small giggle as he was hugged flush against his older brother, nuzzling his chest. Whatever that bulge was, it couldn't be a bad thing, not if it made Itachi feel good and become so relaxed.
Next morning found them still like that, only with Sasuke's small arms wrapped around Itachi's neck and a leg thrown over Itachi's hip.
Itachi fluttered his eyes open, taking in their position with mounting horror. He suppressed it to a low buzz, lifting the blankets slightly. There, a little on Sasuke’s legs again, but also on his stomach. He sighed. He supposed if Sasuke didn’t mind then the only problem was him, but really, this was ridiculous.
He slipped out of the bed, pushing Sasuke lightly onto his back to repeat the previous days exercise of changing into clean boxer, wetting a towel and washing Sasuke clean of his sperm.
Eyes only opening as much, or rather as little, as needed to see the contours of his aniki, Sasuke just smiled, knowing what had happened this time.
"Morning aniki..." he murmured softly with a yawn before, as Itachi was done cleaning him, rolled over on his side to sleep on.
Itachi shook his head at his little brother. He really needed to stop this before it went too far. Sasuke was young and impressionable. He could very well grow up thinking incest was fine. He sighed. He couldn’t bring himself to deny his brother though. Not when he was actually there in the room with his little pouty lips wibbling at him.
After a while it became clear to the boy that Itachi wasn't going to lay down beside him again.
"Aniki?" He asked, reaching out for him, wanting the other beside him as he slept.
Itachi shook his head. On this, at least, he would stand.
“I need to get ready for my work. You sleep, otouto. I’ll be back by tonight, I promise.”
~~~~~~
