Relieved
Author's Note: Welcome to my silly drabbles with this family. From the beginning this was going to be sequelish of sorts to another story I'm writing on but they should go good enough by themselves.
What I really want to bring to attention is that these drabbles are not in any order at all, the timeline is messed up, and also just that - they're drabbles. This collection can be considered "complete" all the time, it's not a "fic" in that sense.
The very first three and a half pieces was written several months ago hehe.

Of course Sakura understood what it meant to have a child. She had in fact known very well what they had all gotten themselves into. But it’s different from knowing in theory, and to actually have it happening.
Sakura was also a ninja; so she could endure difficult conditions for a fairly long time. But pregnancy did wear her out a little. The last month she really just wanted the baby out. She hadn’t been able to sleep properly for so long. But that didn’t seem to end when the baby was born.
Hajime was a good child most of the time; he slept quietly through the whole night. But Sakura still couldn’t sleep as well as she would like to. She kept sleeping with one ear open; no matter how tired she was, simply because she knew that he could wake up.
The whole ordeal made Sakura even more tired, but she still couldn’t sleep. And then it actually happened…
Hajime’s cries were quickly rising in volume and Sakura was immediately awake, even if she felt like a zombie. Slowly she freed herself of the arms of her lover and made her way out of bed.
The floor felt ice cold under her feet and she absently brushed some pink hair out of her face with a tired gesture before staggering towards the doorway. She was too tired to notice when the cries actually stopped somewhere on her way to the nursery.
It wasn’t until she had reached the doorway, and heard a hushed voice, that she fully realized that the baby was no longer crying. Slightly confused, she stopped and listened.
“…up the family you know? We can’t have that, they need their sleep. Sasuke’s got an important mission in the morning and Sakura always looks so tired.” A yawn was heard before the talking continued - a little slower, like the person was about to fall asleep. “I bet Ino isn’t sleeping as good either, because Sakura’s not. But its okay now, baby. Daddy’s here…”
Carefully Sakura peeked into the room and a soft smile stretched her lips. Naruto was sitting on the floor, back against the wall, with a quiet Hajime in his arms. The baby had already gone back to sleep and it looked like Naruto was about to fall asleep on the spot as well.
His arms held a safe grip on the tiny creature, who looked perfectly content in those big arms. Gently Naruto lowered his face and brushed his lips over a small forehead.
“Daddy’s here…” He repeated in a soft whisper; barely audible.
Slowly Sakura retreated; not wanting to disturb the beautiful scene between the blond man and the dark haired child.
The smile was still playing on her face when she came back to the bedroom, and when she slipped into bed Ino’s arms immediately found their way around her.
“I thought you were going to stay longer with him.” She mumbled against Sakura’s skin.
“No…” Sakura answered softly. “I got relieved.”
Sakura managed to sleep much better after that.
