Hey what’s up. The next Ch. that’s what. Sorry had to do it anyway lets get on with it.

“Kira I want to gather…” Itachi was saying before a huge explosion went off in the distance. It was so big the ground from the village shook. The winds picked up and blew some of the trees over with the shock wave that followed. Everyone stopped and looked at what had caused that.
The story begins
The air around the area in the distance turned from red to black in the sky and yet another shock wave emitted from there. The sand and sound decided that this was there opportunity to leave.
“Itachi what was that?” Haku said quietly but Itachi didn’t say anything just gave the signal the retreat as well before they got caught.
Back it the stadium the fight was over awhile ago with Orochimaru escaping. Genma walked up to Kakashi and Gai.
“Kakashi that explosion was where Sasuke and a few others went to find Gaara.” Genma said pointing off in the direction.
Kakashi turned to the area and saw black all around the sky. There was a huge mushroom cloud rising in the distance.
“Quick I want a squad with me now to find out what happened over there.” Kakashi demanded already heading over there.
24 hours later after the battle
All the Jounins were in a small room trying to get information on the battle that took place. Everyone was sitting and trying to be patient. Pretty soon peope had to be standing outside because it got so cramped. Peope were shouting and repeating the same questions all over the room.
“The head council are trying to find a new Hokage. Because Orochimaru had killed the third.” An ANBU yelled to Kakashi and the other junins.
“The village has sustained damage but nothing that we can’t repair in time. The total death toll is around 75.” Another one said panicing. "We have also had reports that Itachi and some others had been in the battle fighting with the sand and sound.”
Kakashi looked down thinking about the recent events.
“What about the team that left for Gaara.” Anko said. Everyone in the room went sient. They wanted to know what happened to.
Kakashi and Gai turned around. “When we got there the place was completely decimated. who ever did that destroyed at least five miles of forest, we found no traces of anything and we doubt that anything could have survived it.” Kakashi said silently, thinking about it. The trees were up rooted with the ground scorched, you couldn't even see everything with the black smoke.
The whole room was completely silent then all hell broke loose people were screaming and demanding to know what happened.
“What about the children?”
“Where’s Sasuke and Hyuuga Hinata!
“They can’t die.” Others were saying.
“That’s enough!” Asuma said standing up looking at the people before him. “You heard him they are dead! We can’t do anything right now. We have other matters to do.” He said quietly getting up and walking out of the room.
In a dark place in the forest
“Itachi we have received word that Naruto and a few others did not survive the explosion.” A man said with a mask on his face.
Itachi dismissed the person before turning to Haku, Kira, and Jin. “What do you think.” Itachi said looking up at the sky
“I want to know how and why he did it with those group of kids.” Jin said.
“Itachi you know Naruto. He probaly told your brother.” Haku said slowly.
Itachi nodded. “It was inevitable. I just wanted him to get stronger… Alright split into groups and Kira go inform the Cloud leader about this.” He said walking away. He knew what Naruto wanted to do now but was it a good idea?
72 hours debriefing and finding
“I want you and a team to go find the fifth Hokage. Do not disappoint me. I also want you to look for the troublemakers. You are dismissed Sai.” Someone said to a young teen with short black hair and eyes that wore all black.
A week later
Eight people walked in a dark forest, the stars were the only thing to guide them. The night was pretty peaceful with no wind to bother the eight that sought to pass through the forest.
These eight looked pretty bad in appearances with dirt covering there faces and their clothes shredded but if you looked closer past the scratches and the blood shot eyes you could see triumph and a fire of determination. Well the leader had it anyway.
“I swear that was the stupidest thing I have ever done.” Sakura said walking behind a beat up Sasuke.
“We used to much explosion. We almost died because someone said it had to be big.” Jack said with bitterness.
“Hey it wasn’t my fault! I’m not the expert in that area.” Naruto shot back.
“Shut up dobe. I can’t believe I agreed to this. Just because you convinced me that my brother didn’t kill my clan.” Sasuke said rather to himself.
“Well that and… Well that grass nin.” Hinata said quietly.
“ That’s the other half of why I agreed to go. I didn’t want some freak chasing me. But Naruto how did you convince them to tag along.” Sasuke said pointing his thumb in the back of the group.
Naruto stopped a minute to scratch his chin in thought. “Well I needed more people for the stunt we did and I knew Gaara has a demon so I just made an offer that he couldn’t pass up.” Naruto said with a smile before resuming the walk.
“Hey that doesn’t mean we need to stick with you guys. We can go back to the sand village any time we want. We just choose not to.” Temari said.
Jack looked back with a questioning look on his face. “We did you guys agree? And if you can leave right now why follow us?” Jack questioned.
Konkurou looked at Jack. “We follow Gaara because we care for each other. And besides you just happen to entertain us.”
Gaara looked over at his sister and brother surprised that they would want to stay with his. He gave a very small smile. He then turned and cursed Naruto in his mind for changing him. He thought back when the blonde had made the offer.
Fashback
“Hey Gaara I know you’re a demon and that a organization is after you. What if I say I could help you actually sleep and control that little demon of yours.” Naruto said like it was the weather.
Gaara looked at him in surprise then nodded his head ever so lightly so the blonde continued.
End Flashback
And now here he was watching a group of people who were not scared of him. This could be like his second chance to live a semi normal life with dare he saw friends.
“Alright guys I’m getting tired how about we rest.” Jack said slumping to the ground. Before anyone else could saw anything more people slumped to the ground. Naruto wanted to keep going but he didn’t want to act like a slave driver so he kept his mouth shut.
“Now we need to find out what’s the best way to leave Fire Country. Sakura get the map out.” Sasuke said sitting on a log by the fire that he created.
Sakura who was sitting on another log with Jack took the map out handing it to Sasuke.
“I think we should go to the Wave Country first. We should take a small boat so no one will detect us if they have found out.” Sasuke muttered.
“We should at least take a fishers boat so everyone can fit.” Jack said. He was sitting on the ground poking the fire.
“I…I think we need to change our appearances.” Hinata said also sitting on the ground by Naruto of course.
“Hey that’s a great idea Hinata chan.” Naruto said smiling at her while she blushed.
“I agree.” Temari said sitting with her brothers on another log by the fire.
‘”We will also need new names.” Sasuke said already planning ahead. Naruto just sat and relaxed. He usually didn’t like people but his family but the group that surrounded him made him feel better. Like he could protect them with his life especially Hinata. Yes Naruto had a crush on her even if he didn’t show it. He just wondered what Itachi would do now that he thought he was dead. Knowing Itachi he probably thought it was a set up and would be looking for them.
Then they would have to either go back or go to Cloud.
“Alright so it’s settled. We have our names and we know where to go. Our final destination is Cloud.” Jack said. Naruto turned his head to see Sasuke.
(So that’s it for right now. What will happen? Will they make it or will they kill each other first? What happened during the explosion? Find out one of these days.)
Next A new way and thinking about what the past has brought to the future.
