Chapter 10: Naruto
Sakura had been eaten by the large fox demon and was in a place that she couldn’t understand. There she was inside an area surrounded by a floating mass of red chakra. ‘Where am I, what is going on, am I dead, No I am inside of Kyuubi. I need… I need to find Naruto.’ “Naruto… Naruto are you here… Naruto”, said Sakura.
“SA…KU…R A” came from a familiar faint voice.
“Ha, ha, ha so that was your plan after all however did you think that just anyone can come inside my body? Now that you are inside me your chakra will become mine and I shall become even more powerful”, said Kyuubi in his inhuman voice.
‘I should be fine as long as I can keep up my chakra shield. However considering that his chakra is even more powerful than mine I will not have long before my chakra shield collapses and I become apart of Kyuubi’.
“Naruto can you hear me…Naruto please answer me”, said Sakura almost crying.
“Is…that…you…Sakura”, said Naruto in a slow low voice.
“Naruto” said Sakura her soft sweet voice.
Sakura then could feel the movement that Kyuubi was making. She felt like a pinball being bounced all around.
“What the hell is going on out there?” said Sakura in an angry voice.
Meanwhile outside The Kyuubi had to complete a complex set of maneuvers well beyond what any normal person could even imagine. “Damn how much strength does that damn fox have. We hit him with everything we got and yet it still isn’t enough. Shizune, how is Jiriaya doing?”
“Almost done with him, but he is still weak from that attack”.
“Well as soon as he is o.k. to go make sure he gets his ass back out here. Gaara we need to bind him somehow.”
“Give me a second will you pest I am trying what I can do but it still won’t be enough” said Gaara.
Kakashi then turned toward the large fox demon ‘What are we supposed to do now. Sakura is inside that demon. Jiriaya is not in battle condition. Our summons is nearly out of strength. What are we going to do next?’
Back inside Kyuubi, Sakura is trying desperately to find Naruto. “Naruto please tell me where are you”.
“Sakura is that you?” said the faint voice of Naruto.
“Naruto where are you”.
Just then the spectral image of Naruto appeared before Sakura. “Sakura why are you here?”
“I came here to get you back. We are all here for that very same purpose. Kakashi, Jiriaya, Gaara, Temari, Kankuro, Shizune, and Yamato are all here for you. So please Naruto come back with me.”
“Sakura aren’t you happy that Sasuke is back in Konoha?”
“When Sasuke returned to us he was a completely different person that we had remembered.
I tried to love him again but it just wasn’t enough.”
“When we were fighting against Sasuke and Orichimaru my power was not enough and Kyuubi said that he would supply me with that power at a great risk. The risk was so great that there was no going back once I made my decision. All I could think about was your happiness and nothing more so I took Kyuubi’s offer and gained the power I was seeking. As a result of that power my body is gone and it belongs to Kyuubi now. I’m sorry Sakura there is no going back to Konoha for me. I’m sorry Sakura I did love you, now you must go before Kyuubi absorbs all of your chakra and knowledge. If he absorbs your knowledge he would be considered a god. I will attempt to get you an opening so that you can escape. Do me one favor Sakura, live long and never forget me”.
Naruto began to fade from Sakura’s sight and disappeared completely.
“Naruto…Naruto please don’t leave me again I want to be with you. Naruto pleeeaaassse Nnnnaaaarrrruuuuuttttooooo”.
In that instant Sakura blacked out.
Outside, Kyuubi stopped and looked like he was in pain. Kyuubi was growling in pain and he began to shake like a flea biting an animal. In his inhuman voice, “Naruto what are you doing in there. You gave yourself to me completely, your body is now mine and I will reclaim what is now rightfully mine. Kyuubi began to prepare an attack like Rasengan but instead if the chakra sphere a lone figure came out and revealed itself to be none other than Sakura Haruno.
After Sakura had woken up she wasn’t aware of where she was. “Where am I?” said Sakura.
“Sakura are you all right, Sakura”, said Temari.
“I guess I am fine, what about Naruto”.
“I’m sorry but only you came out of the Kyuubi, I’m afraid that Naruto is still inside him”.
“Ha, ha, ha looks like I greatly under estimated you. You have won this round but the next you will die for sure”, said Kyuubi. Kyuubi then turned around and left the battlefield.
Sakura could only cry as the Kyuubi left her sight “Naruto, (sniff) please…please come back to me, I…I love you…I love you Naruto”.
