Time for a change ...

hello everyone i am back.

sorry it took so long but had a lot to do, but my holiday in spain was nice. a bit warm but nice.
but i did managed to write a couple of chapters for u to read and my lovely beta has finished reading them and correcting them despite feeling sick. *gives medicine, a huge chocolate chip sunday covered in chocolate sauce* she deserves an applause and i hope she isn't feeling to bad now.

Sasuke shifted a little in his half sleep state, however, it had proven a little difficult as he felt something heavy lying on his left arm. The raven opened his eyes and stared up at a very unfamiliar ceiling. It took a couple of seconds before memories and emotions from last night came crawling back as soon as he remembered, a small, genuine smile appeared on his face. He shifted so that he faced the blond and studied him, the golden bangs were gently resting on his face. Sasuke lifted his hand and gently brushed away the bangs blocking his view of the sleeping boy. He was quite surprised, when he thought about it, how easily he had let the blond inside his defense fortress. Everything about the blond was a mystery yet exciting. Again, Sasuke let his fingers gently stroke the blond on his chin, which had been flustered last night due to their heated activities.

“Mmm…” The blond shifted a little before cuddling closer to the raven, who, in turn, placed a gentle kiss on top of the blond’s head and returned the cuddle.

“Morning,” the blond looked sheepishly up to Sasuke with his blue eyes.

“Morning.” Naruto decided to kiss the raven and the other male happily complied, returning the kiss. Sasuke decided that he could get used to waking up like that every morning, the tan male also found being woken gently by the raven, rather nice. “What time is it?” The blond asked, it was his turn to make breakfast today and he knew Gaara would be grumpy if he didn’t get his breakfast.

“I dunno, but can’t say I care much right now.” Sasuke kissed the blond again. Naruto chuckled.

“Mm.. well its my turn to make breakfast today.” The blond responded in between the kisses the raven was showering him with.

“Well can’t breakfast wait …” Sasuke pressed his hard member onto Naruto’s, who in returned hissed at the contact. “Since I have this problem.” Sasuke rocked his hips in a continuously motion creating more friction between the two.

“Well maybe the breakfast can wait just a little…” The blond responded, he wasn’t going to turn down the pleasure, the raven was offering at the moment. Sasuke grinned and kissed the blond passionately, soon Naruto found himself underneath Sasuke panting. “Shut up teme,” the other boy responded with half a pout. Sasuke just smiled and kissed the him before lying next to the blond, who was mimicking Sasuke’s actions from last night. “AND DON’T FUCKING DARE FALL BACK TO SLEEP BRAT, I WILL HAUL YOU OUT OF THER IF I HAVE TO!!!” The strong female voice roared through the door again ruining the cuddling moment again.

“JEEEZZ GRANNIE ARE YOU TRYING TO WAKE THE DEAD TOO?” Naruto shouted back this time.

“CALL ME THAT AGAIN BRAT AND I WILL DRAG YOU OUT OF THE ROOM BY YOUR TESTICLES YOU HEAR?!? NOW STOP FUCKING AROUND AND MOVE THAT ASS OF YOURS INTO MY OFFICE PRONTO.” Tsunade yelled back before stomping to her office waiting for the trio to enter.

“Well that officially killed the mood.” Sasuke said looking at Naruto.

“Sorry but it looks like I have work today.” Naruto answered. Usually when Tsunade hauled them into her office it was regarding work or any news on their puzzling past. Sasuke pretended to pout a little before placing one last kiss on the blond.

“Well I wouldn’t want to have her pull you out of here by the balls.” Sasuke smiled and got out of bed. “Mind if I take a shower?” Naruto smiled back and chuckled to the statement as he followed the raven out of bed.

“No just help yourself, you’ll find the towels in the white cabinet in the bathroom.” Naruto answered.

“Thanks, meet you in the kitchen when you’re done?” Sasuke asked.

“Yeah, I’ll make breakfast when I’m done but if you are really hungry just help yourself to some food.” The blond gave the raven a quick kiss before leaving the room.

Naruto walked in to Tsunade’s office where Gaara and Shikamaru were already waiting, the blond female was nowhere to be seen despite having shouted how urgent the meeting was.

“Where is Grannie?” He asked the two sitting on the sofa. Naruto noticed that Gaara was lying with his head in Shikamaru’s lap and that the two was acting very couple like.

“Dunno.” Shikamaru answered as he let one of his hands gently glide through Gaara’s red hair.

Tsunade, who had entered her office earlier, had found that when she opened her sake drawer there was no sake to be found, cursing silently to herself she got up from the chair and headed for the kitchen where there were at least a couple of bottles in the fridge ready to be opened.

Sasuke was heading for the shower when he decided to take a rendezvous through the kitchen since he found himself to be extremely thirsty. Being the first to arrive, Sasuke dove his head into the fridge and searched for a bottle of milk or juice to drink, however, the plans of quenching his thirst had to be put on hold when Tsunade entered the kitchen.

“You picked the wrong temple to steal food from, brat” Tsunade said when she saw the unfamiliar back of Sasuke.

“Well as luck may have it I am not here to steal your food. Naruto, my boyfri…, said it was alright” Sasuke stopped himself from saying boyfriend. It wasn’t because he had problems with calling the blond his boyfriend, but because that’s what he was. It was just that he was unsure whether or not the other boy had told anyone else about their relationship or how the person behind him would react to the news. For all he knew Naruto could have been living underneath the same roof as some crazy homophobic monks.

“So you’re the boyfriend, the cause of 2 hours of my misery yesterday from constantly hearing about the freaking carnival and girl magazines.” Tsunade moved further into the kitchen. Sasuke had to smile, Naruto really was a kid sometimes, before shutting the fridge door and turning to face the source of the voice. Tsunade had been calm and steady when entering the kitchen but almost dropped her jaw to the ground when she saw who was standing in front of her.

“Uchiha … Sasuke” She whispered to herself.

“You …” Sasuke was as shocked as she was when he saw her. Images of the blond woman from his childhood appeared in his mind. For several minutes the two of them just stared at one another. It was Sasuke who finally broke the silence between them.

“Well … this was unexpected. Never thought I’d see the day I would see you again.”

“Not the only one kid.” Tsunade studied the young man in front of her. Last time she had seen Sasuke had been 12 years ago, when he at the age of 10 had walked next to his father for their routine inspection of the institution Sasuke’s father was supplying the drugs to. During the raven’s younger years, Tsunade had been the family’s physician and each month or so the young boy had been in for a check up.

Naruto and the two other had grown tired of waiting for the woman and decided to see if she was burying her nose in the sake that was in the fridge.

“Grannie are you in here?” Naruto said as the 3 entered the kitchen.

“How many times have I told you not to call me that brat!” Tsunade said before planting her fist on the top of the blond’s head.

“Ouch, what the hell …” Naruto said rubbing his sore spot. “And why are you telling us to meet you in the office when you’re not even there?!”

“I was getting some more Sake.” Shikamaru, Gaara and Naruto all made gestures as to say ‘go figure’, seeing as it was probably the only thing Tsunade left her office for . “Then I ran into an old acquaintance.” Naruto looked at Sasuke and then at Tsunade, a little confused.

“Wait, you two know each other.” He asked.

“Yeah well, I wouldn’t go as far as say we knew each other.” Tsunade said “I used to work for his father.”

Naruto looked at the two again getting a bit confused. If that was true then Sasuke’s father knew something about the institution, which in turn could mean that Sasuke knew something.

“So does that mean he knows about the institution?” Shikamaru took the words out of Naruto’s mouth when he asked.

“Doubt it, he was only 10 at the time and as far as I can remember he only set foot inside the reception area that one time, you had the cold. ” Tsunade said never taking her eyes away from the raven.

“I don’t remember, all I remember is seeing you every month or so for my regular check up.” Sasuke said.

“Check up?” Naruto asked.

“I used to be the Uchiha family’s physician.” Naruto scratched his bruised spot. “I suggest we all retreat to my office, I want to talk some with you Uchiha and I have a job for the 3 of you.”

When all of them were well settle in Tsunade’s office and after Tsunade’s compulsory gulp out of the sake bottle, she began to speak.

“Well having an Uchiha here changes quite a bit, I must say I never saw that one coming.” She took another gulp of the sake bottle “But nonetheless, the information you retrieved from the Uchiha corp. has been deciphered and according to Kakashi there isn’t much of interest to us except for some pages. As we expected the involvement of the Uchiha corp. is well hidden or kept to a minimum making it rather difficult for us to retrieve any information without going back to the actual source … Orochimaru.” Sasuke watched as the 3 boys flinched at the name, not that he blamed them. The man was evil through and through, even he, himself, who was from the Uchiha family, did not like to be in the presence of that man. The same went for his right hand man, Kabuto. However, he was a bit surprised that Kakashi was mentioned, he didn’t think the silver haired man would involve himself in any activities that didn’t benefit him in some way.

“At any rate I want the 3 of you to go over to Kakashi’s tonight and retrieve the information and the plans of the institution, well, what we have manage to scrape together.” Tsunade continued.

“What you mean scraped together?” Shikimaru asked.

“Getting the plans of the institution is impossible as they have been erased, all we could do was draw an unfinished map of some of the floors from what we could remember. Me and Sandaime-san might have worked there but there were a lot of doors we didn’t have access to.” She replied. “That’s it, you are dismissed. Except for the Uchiha, I’m not done with you.”

Naruto took Sasuke’s hand and squeezed it a little “I’ll meet you in the kitchen when you’re done. I’ll leave a plate out for you,” he said before kissing the raven on the cheek. The Uchiha in turn, nodded.

“Well.” Sasuke began when the door behind him had been shut and the trio had left the room.

“I want you gone.” Was Tsunade’s first reply.

“Excuse me?” Sasuke stepped closer to the desk.

“You heard me, I want you to leave Naruto.”

“I don’t believe you have the right to say that.” Sasuke replied in a sharp tone.

“I think I do, I .. We … did not go through hell in order to save those poor kids from your business. We did not spend years trying the best we could .. to teach them what human emotions are, only to have you ruin it all.” Tsunade looked at him with ice in her eyes.

“Like I would, to tell you the truth I think I’ve been helping with the human interaction on a little deeper level, especially when it comes to Naruto.” Sasuke said.

“Tell me Sasuke, who are you?” Tsunade asked.

“What you mean?” Sasuke asked a little confused, it was a rather weird question to ask.

“It is a simple question brat, tell me who you are, introduce yourself.” Sasuke lifted one eyebrow.

“Uchiha Sasuke,” he said in a firm and stern voice.

“Exactly, you are an Uchiha. Uchiha don’t do human interactions, they don’t feel. And I am as sure as hell know that they don’t care. What happens when you are sick of the blond? You going to throw him away like your kind always do? Naruto and the others are completely new to emotions, especially when it comes to actually experiencing them. Sure we taught them what sadness and heartbreak is but how they will react, what they will actually do when they experience it is … is dangerous. If Naruto and Gaara looses control, there is no telling what they’ll do.” Tsunade took another gulp of her sake bottle, she couldn’t believe she was telling an Uchiha about Naruto and Gaara.

“You know something you’re not telling them. You know more about their past than you are leading on,” the raven said staring at her as she sighed in defeat.

“And what about you, don’t tell me you don’t know anything.” She said.

“No I know some, but my knowledge only goes as far as I know it is there, I have seen it in the papers. What did they to them? What did you do to them? And don’t say you didn’t do shit cause you don’t have a doctor degree and specialize in potions for show. My father sure as hell doesn’t hire people just to look good.” The raven now stood inches away from the desk.

“I know, I was hired to test different enhancement drugs and potions for the soldiers and watch for the side affects, so we could make improvements.” Tsunade sighed again, it had been a long time since she had visited her past.

“Test the drugs on what? Rats, birds?” Sasuke looked at her as he shook her head, she did not even look at him. “You got to be fucking kidding me.” Sasuke nearly screamed as he put two and two together “You tested it on humans. You used humans for fucking guinea pigs.” After a second his shock turned in to anger. “You FUCKING used Naruto and the others for FUCKING GUINEA PIGS.”

“I DID NO SUCH THING!” She screamed back “I just …”

“You just what? Watched as they shoved things in to their veins?” Sasuke slammed his hands on to the desk, he had never been so angry before over anything in his entire life. Tsunade did not even flinch.

“If it was only that, Naruto, Shikamaru and Gaara belonged to a special wing of the institution. I … I don’t know what they did there but unlike the rest of the test subjects the 3 never got the cocktail mix of different drugs. I was instructed to only give them one potion, a potion to make them immune to any infection or illness. I dunno what it really was. I never made it. But the 3 were different, acted different.”

“What do you mean?” Sasuke asked.

“They weren’t … human” Tsunade gulped down the rest of the sake bottle. “Shikamaru in one sense was a failure from what I gathered and so was Gaara to one extent. But Naruto … in both of them … something sleeps, something terrible.”

“What is it?” The raven asked.

“I dunno, I wish I knew. I wish I knew so I could undo it. That’s why we need information, I need information to undo it. What ever it is it needs to go.”

“Why haven’t you told them?” He asked

“Because I dunno what it is, if I tell them there are going to be questions I cannot answer.” She said “They deserve to know, I know that, but when I tell them I want to be able to tell them everything, not just bits and pieces.” She continued “And you being an Uchiha puts everything at risk. You’re a direct link to Orochimaru, even if you deny it, what chance is there that he isn’t watching the Uchiha family’s every step. I know Orochimaru, he needs control and I am sure he has it. Which means you are now the biggest threat to all of them and especially Naruto.”

Sasuke could not argue there, but there was no way he was leaving the blond’s side now. “That might be true Tsunade-san, and I may be an Uchiha but under no circumstances does that require any loyalty to the name. Contrary to many beliefs or rumours … I am NOT like my father or brother.” Sasuke turned and began walking towards the door and as he reached it he stopped. “And as I see it right now, I am the only one that can give you your answers.”

“How did you figure that out?” She asked looking at the back of the raven.

“As you said I am an Uchiha and thus happen to own the place.” Sasuke said smirking

“Tell me, why are you willing to sacrifice everything to help us?” She asked.

“Not for you … for him …” Tsunade smiled, Uchiha Sasuke had just admitted in his own way he loved the blond. Even if the words were not spoken she could tell.

“Fine, but all information goes to me or Kakashi if it needs deciphered. Is that clear?”

“Crystal.” Sasuke said before leaving the room.
