Taking Over the Leaf
Chapter 10 Taking Over the Leaf
One-hundred feet away from the northern gate Dawn approached, shrouded in black cloaks embellished with red clouds moving forward; guided by an unseen entity. Giant oaks shook their leafy fists in anger exercising as much rage a tree could muster. Embodying Hirashima’s essence thirsting to fight in defense for its home - flower petals shuddered aggressively, mean-while blades of grass stiffened with the intent to prick the unsuspecting enemies’ sole, and toes in retaliation.
A single red eye glinted, proud and sure The Will of Fire is the Uchiha Clans’, signature since they are the harbingers’ of fire rightfully it should return. A slight nod to Pein seven bodies darted forward in silence.
In the gleaming moonlight Madara stood atop the highest tree overlooking Konoha. His single exposed eye twinkled, clouded in madness murmured a promise, “Our day of reckoning has arrived brother, Uchiha shall prevail, and rule the Leaf as we desire so it shall be,” before vanishing through time and space.

The Godamine sat in silence eyes attentive, sweeping tomes sat at various stacks atop her mahogany desk. For all the information provided neither produced answers satisfying enough for the Leaf’s Shadow Leader. It was never mentioned how to overcome a foe of Madara’s caliber, none offered insight to fighting an immortal who apparently welded more power than a couple of Kage’s combined. Tsunade felt overwhelmed and inexperienced- her grandfather fought this man, now his granddaughter had to face an immortal, cheating death more than humanly allowed. Questions remained unanswered wondering if signs of humanity still reigned inside his black-end heart.
War was upon the Village Hidden in the Trees, and with civilians safely deposited away from the battlefield shinobi’s stood vigilant. Awaiting Akatsuki - a threat steadily approaching, hoping Kami was on their side; allowing Konoha to see another century.
A sudden quake startled every shinobi, trees shook, animals fled to higher ground as buildings shifted. A screeching roar ripped through the air. Ninja’s froze feeling a sudden surge of power filled with malice, and bloodlust; their training quelled a desire to release body fluids as a pretext to fear. Realizing footsteps created the tremors white hot fright surged through their veins not even Kyuubi incited such need of flight. The King of Hell loomed overhead. Nine eyes glared as red and black specks stood gracefully – blending within the canopy of trees.
“Your Godamine Hokage,” Pein demanded the ninja assembled before him. Before a command could be issued Tsunades’ voice thundered.
“Stand-down!”
“Your timeliness reflects understanding.”
“And that would be?”
“That God has arrived.” The seriousness in Peins’ voice unnerved the Shadow leader causing her skin to prickle with goose-bumps from his insanity.
“Please inform your Medic-nin that the current experimental drug has failed, due to one of its side effects being hallucinations.”
“I assure you, Lady Hokage I speak the truth.”
“Funny, I never knew God’s took orders.”
A mask of impassive perfection greeted her statement. Something was amiss – his calm almost placating demeanor suggested as much. As the two stood facing one-another an ANBU Black Ops materialized beside the village leader: The council requested their presence. Eyeing the ren’negin wielder warily the aforementioned Akatsuki leader answered unasked question.
“They will not attack unless commanded.”
Sensing no deceit both moved quickly toward the council chambers.

“Father”
“Hardly….he died when you were five, Itachi. Blood clones are very effective, manipulating Mikoto required little effort considering how much of Fugakus’ essence I was able to imitate. Siring Sasuke my son, and heir.” A sinister smirk graced his pale face before the air rippled around him morphing into Madara.
A black cloud hovered above. Madara’s presence did not bode well, for the Leaf, but another alarm sounded in his mind; how did the other find him?
“You are curious as to how I knew, hm that I knew you were alive? Apart from your missing dead body, I remembered special Uchiha Clan scrolls passed down from my father about the God’s of the sun and storm. The jutsu required a drop of your blood, for conformation, and here we are.”
“The Kyuubi’s beyond your reach, Naruto and his tenant merged, completely.”
“I am aware of that I have come for what is rightfully mine. Konoha, and it is unwise to attempt stopping us. Enough talk my kin - the council is waiting.”
Itachi watched as Madara blinked out of existence – he soon followed.

There was tense silence engulfing the council chamber as each clan head assembled. Tsunade appeared followed by Pein, Itachi and a masked Tobi/Madara. Before the Goldamine reached her Hokage seat Tobi disappeared only to reappear seated comfortably. The council erupted in murmured voices of protest and confusion until said confusion maker called for everyone to quiet.
“What is your game?” Tsunade spoke icily.
“Simple, really I am the newly self appointed Hokage an” Cutting him off, and leaping from her seated position Tsume snarled at the masked man. “WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON, TSUNADE.”
Tsume did not have time to think as a fireball was hurled – she dodged landed crouching low on all fours, but before retaliating the blond shouted, “ENOUGH.”
Assuming a seat next to Inochi the blond listened as the elder Raven continued, “and as the clan heads – council of elders will accept. Otherwise, the civilians hidden within Hokage mountain, will die.”
Heads turned as the council room door creaked permitting Danzo entry.
“The new head of military operations my brother Inuza, or you all know him Danzo.”
What could be said they were too shocked to speak, and had yet to meet their leader.
Coming out of his stooper the Nara Clan head spoke, “we have yet to meet the person leading our village.”
“Clever you refrained from labeling me male or female, and yes you are correct I have not properly introduced myself,” reaching up removing his mask and black wrap, Madara’s midnight hair fell mid-back bangs framed his face as two sharigan eyes spun lazily. One of the elders took a sharp breath, “Uchiha, Uchiha Madara.”
All listened to the silent sound of change, knowing it was not well.
