Ch. 10
"Okay, Nata we're almost there. And remember NO peaking. and no byakugan either I want this to be a surprise." Naruto was carrying Hinata on his back while she was blind folded.
Hinata was now dressed in a tight red combat dress that Naruto's old teammate once wore, before donning her new longer dark blue version, while clutching to her loves back as he races around the village to keep her from realizing where they are going.
"Okay Nata I'm putting you down now, but the blind fold stays on"
"Oh Naruto what's with the all the secretism?"
"Nothing, Nothing, I just having a little fun is all. Now just give me a second" with that Naruto reach into his pocket, pullng out the key Tsunade gave him. Then he turned around to face the main gate of the old Namizaki complex, inserted the key, and popped the lock. which opened with a resounding 'CLICK!' "Okay forward, that's it, don't worry I won't let you fall."
"Okay, stop right there"
"Can I take the blind fold off now, Naruto?'
Taking one last look around "Yes Nata, you can"
In an instant Hinata had torn the fabric from her eyes, that were now set on an old family complex. The paint was worn and chipped, the grounds where overgrown and weed ridden, and they still had yet to go inside. "I know this place. It's only a few streets over from my family complex. Naruto, what are we doing here?"
"Well Nata, I own it, or at least I will soon, once Granny Tsunade finds and hands over the deed."
"What? How?" Hinata shot out rather confused.
"This was my father's house and Lady Tsunade gave my the key this morning . Along with the coat and swords. I still have a rather large trunk waiting for me to go through, but first I need to choose where I'm going to live, my old shit-hole-in-the-wall apartment or here a run down old complex that once it's fixed up should look rather nice with plenty of room to spare. So what do you think should we move in here or am I having the trunk taken to my old apartment?"
"Naruto, I think you should defiantly move in here. Cause first of all you'll be a lot closer to me, and you'll be able to see Sasuke and Sakura more and hell I think you could have some fun pissing off the villagers by the shear fact that you'll be living hear"
"Why would the villagers have a problem with us living here?"
"Because every year on the last day of August, they place candles out in front of the main gate..."At that moment Hinata's eyes grew to dinner plates, Naruto had been speaking in 'we' and 'us' not 'me' and 'I', did he..."Naruto are you asking me to move in with you?!"
"Only if you want to," Now Hinata started to sputter,"Now I have my reasons, mainly, do you really think your father would let you out of your house after today, and well I love you and I want you with me...", and Hinata began to sputter again, "Don't worry you'll have your own room if your not ready for anything other than living in the same house together, I don't want to force you into something you don't want?"
Hinata had been trying to speak, trying to simply understand. But, now that Naruto had finished speaking, she knew he wouldn't try anything, he loved her too much to do anything to jeopardize that. And he was right about her father, she would be lucky if she would be confined to the complex for a year after all that's happened today. "But how are we going to get my stuff?"
"Ha! I actually have a plan for that, but before that let's check out the rest of the house."
Naruto and Hinata spent the next four hours checking out the house, deciding the master bedroom would be his and the room right across the hall would be for Hinata after that they decided to put Naruto's plan for moving Hinata out of the Hyuga complex. Their first stop was Tsunade's office. So Naruto left a battalion of shadow clones behind to clean and paint the house as well as finish moving the rest of Naruto's stuff from his apartment.
