The Wolf and the Fox...
Part X...Finale
Hidan ran carrying his trophy in his jaws, Naruto was limp and bloody he had already torn the fox's soft hide and Naruto was feeling slightly woozy. Hiden growled as he dropped the fox. Naruto staggered to his feet. He stumbled before the white wolf tore into him again this time he was positioning himself to penetrate. Naruto gave a sharp cry as teeth dug into his flesh, "Like that don't you bitch!" Hidan lapped at the fox's bleeding wounds, "You taste sweet." Hidan probed at Naruto's soft pink anus. He inhaled and sighed, "You smell like heaven. I don't know whether to eat you or fuck you. Why don't I do the second one first." Naruto whined and tried to crawl away. His fluffy tail was caught fast in the white wolf's teeth, "Ah-ah-ah. You aren't going anywhere bitch."
Hiden let go of the tail to bite roughly onto the scruff of the fox's neck. Naruto was mounted and he felt the heat of Hidan's arousal rubbing against his hind quarters. Hidan made to rub the tip against Naruto's tender entrance and began pushing. The tip sunk in and Naruto went crazy yelping and struggling against the horrible wolf. Naruto shut his sapphire eyes whimpering. This was how he was going to die. He heard Ferrell growling erupt in his ears. He braced himself for a brutal assault. Haidan did not go deeper, but stayed still. Suddenly he was ripped away pulling out of the fox painfully. Naruto curled on himself as the sound of a ferocious battle played out.

Sasuke frantically followed the scent of fox blood, hoping he was not too late. Sasuke remembered a time he heard Naruto pleading with his god to save him. He didn't think it would hurt to pray to that being, "Kyuubi, or what ever it is you are called, please help me save my fox!" The smell of blood and fear grew and the smell of that disgusting white wolf's arousal seemed thick in the air. Sasuke burst through the foliage into a small clearing. The sight he beheld banished fear and panic from him as he was washed in a white rage.
His beautiful fox was being mounted by the other wolf. Sasuke growled and lunged at Hidan. It did not matter that his leg ached. He sunk his teeth into the other's throat with the intention of ripping through Hidan's jugular. Hidan was caught off guard. The sound of flesh ripping as the wolf was torn forcefully out of the fox was not missed. The pain filled yelps echoed throughout the forest. Sasuke's grip intensified his anger tripled, "Damn you Hidan!" Hidan seemed to snap back to reality. He thrashed his head in an attempt to bite Sasuke, or free himself, but he was not stupid he realized he was in a position to lose his life.
Hidan managed to curl around and locked his jaws onto Sasuke's muzzle. They were at a stale mate, neither would back down. The crunch of leaves did not register in anyone's mind, until the first explosion rang out. Hidan's grip went slack. Blood poured from his side as he slumped forward the only thing holding him up was Sasuke's death grip. "Humans!" Naruto howled. He limped toward Sasuke nuzzling him to let go of Hidan. Sasuke growled and shook the lifeless enemy. Then he dropped the wolf and carefully picked up the injured fox. They ran away from the sounds of men and then the sound of barking. They were using dogs, this was not good.

The sounds of the boomsticks caused Itachi to increase his pace. He followed the trail of blood and the scent of rage that had been rolling off his little brother. The smell of man over ran his senses he ran away from them hoping his brother had done the same. He kept his nose in the air for any hint of his brother. He caught a faint scent of fear and desperation as well as blood of a fox. He took the path hoping he would not be too late.

Naruto was bleeding badly. He was limp in Sasuke's hold. The wolf and fox were headed for the only safe place he could think to go…Tsunade's woods. The scent of man did not diminish in his nose nor did the barking of the dogs grow quieter. Another explosion and a whizzing sound grazed his ear. Sasuke pushed himself running on three legs rather than risking a fall from his injury. Then he smelled it, or rather he didn't smell anything. It really unsettled him, but he recognized the landmarks. He was just inside the border between Tsunade's realm and the rest of the forest. Two dogs jumped through the thicket of briars. The snarled and growled. Sasuke turned to see two huge white dogs. They were pacing at the edge of the forbidden area, knowing instinctively that it would be very bad if they trespassed so they paced whining and growling alternately. "Akamaru! Kiba! Go!" A booming voice called as a man crossed the distance. The man sighed, "Damn mongrels." He leveled the gun and pulled the trigger. The bullet glanced a rock making a deafening ping. Then he set his sights again. Sasuke broke from his panic as the man intruded into the sanctuary. He turned to go deeper. Another shot was fired and Sasuke fell on top of the fox protecting him with his body.

Itachi caught the strong scent of his brother and the little fox. They were terrified. The smell of domesticated dogs was verified by loud and frantic barking. Itachi knew where his brother has run off to he hoped it was the right decision on Sasuke's part.
When the explosion of the boom stick started up again Itachi ran for the border of Tsunade's land. The sight he caught was too much. A man stood in front of two frightened dogs. He leveled his evil weapon and squeezed his fleshy paw around the trigger. The next instant he was on the man tearing at the flesh of his shooting arm rendering it useless. The dogs fled the scene. The man screamed and attempted to use the weapon to bludgeon the wolf. Itachi lunged for his neck and only let go when the hairless beast stopped fighting. He turned to the woeful sight of his brother. Itachi howled and approached the quivering form of the dying wolf.
"Sasuke! No!" Itachi nuzzled his little brother.
"Big brother," Sasuke smiled his breathing labored, "Please…take…my…mate."
Sasuke leaned away from the frightened ball of bloody fir that was Naruto. He grunted painfully the hole in his side gushed fresh blood. "Pro…Protect…him. Please," Sasuke begged.
"That's your responsibility. Now," Itachi's words were strangled out of his throat, "Now you are going to be fine."
"Hn," Sasuke grunted, "Don't be a fool brother. Take him to Tsunade. Please hurry at least save my mate." His whines grew faint as his breath slowed.
"I love you my brother," Sasuke whispered, "I love you Naru…" The life faded out of his eyes.
"Damn! No!" Itachi growled, "You've killed my brother!" Itachi latched onto Naruto's pelt roughly. The fox could only offer a small whimper in his weakened state, "I'm s-sorry. Please…just kill me."
Itachi clamped tighter over the smaller animal's frame if he put much more pressure on he would have crushed the little creature. His growls shook the fox to his very core.
Itachi looked to his brother and sighed through his nose. He began the silent trek toward the heart of The fox which's lands.

Kushina was inconsolable. Tsunade forced her to take an herb that made her sleep to prevent her from doing something rash. The young buck stayed with them for a while, but he soon had to return to his flock. He offered his deep apologies, "It was not your fault. None of us could have come up with a better plan." The buck limped away on his injured leg. He ambled into the brush in a way that suggested depression more than his normal laziness.
Shizune was curled around the younger golden fox in an attempt to comfort the vixen. Tsunade paced impatiently. Kushina whimpered in her sleep. Then the sound of shots woke Kushina from her drugged sleep, "NARUTO!"
"Shizune! Hold her!" Tsunade ran out of her den to the entrance of the great cavern. The scent of humans intruded into her sanctuary where all else was neutral. The sound of a wolf's pained howl followed by the screams of a man caught the old vixen's ears. She ducked into the underbrush and headed to the field of death.

Itachi was on edge. The smells here were not right. The only thing he could smell was the bloody and sweaty remains of the man he had killed and the sulfur smell of gun powder, all other scents were muted to near nonexistence. He padded through the silent forest until he picked up a distinct female scent. It was spicy and sweet. He growled a warning for the other to show herself.
"Calm yourself down wolf," Tsunade stepped out of the underbrush to greet him, "Remember it is you who are trespassing onto my lands." She paused and looked at the burden he carried, "Ahh, but you have brought the kit. For Kyuubi's sake did you rip him from the one who mated him."
Itachi growled and mumbled through his teeth, "Dead."
"Oh," Tsunade only turned, "Well please follow me. I can see that the young one is on the brink of death as we waste time with…pleasantries." She trotted back toward her home. Itachi followed carrying the young fox.

The scent of her kit's blood caused Kushina to struggle harder. She broke from Shizune's grasp. She only made it to the mouth of the den when the eldest of the three vixens reemerged followed by a black wolf—the very same wolf she had spoken to not but a few hours ago. Kushina growled, "What have they done to my son!" She snapped her sharp white teeth at the wolf, Tsunade used her considerable strength to hold the younger fox back.
"Kushina, please calm down. The wolf is a guest in my home and Naruto has little time if we do not act now," Tsunade placated the angry mother, "Please lay the fox on the dry grass over there. It's the cleanest." Itachi complied and Kushina didn't give him a second look as she went to comfort her injured son.
"Thank you for bringing back the kit," Tsunade turned to thank the wolf only to find that he had left.
Itachi had seen enough; the fox would be safe there, but he had to go collect his brother's body, "I know it hurts fox, I am sorry for the both of you, you and my brother."
{Sucky ending? Hate it? I had such writers block over this story. I may do an epilogue, but that remains to be seen.}
