A Rivial

Riku didn't even take time in banging on the door before bursting in holding a small box in his hands. "Lee what the hell is this?! Me and Gaara are leaving the village today! You really messed him up and you tried t give him a gift! It's stupid anyways, he will never like it!" Yelled the older male tossing it at Lee. The leaf ninja caught it and stood up quickly growling. "Get out of my house! And...he would like it.. if I had the chance to give it to him..." Lee growled back in response 'Oh no... Gaara-kun is leaving again because of me.. I can not deal with that.. no no no.. I have to stop him later..' lee thought in his head mentally freaking out.

Naruto stood up and started pushing Riku back to the door. "I know what redhead likes and I bet you two bowls of ramen he would love Bushy-brows gift! Out, out, out!" He said not wanting his friend to get upset.

Riku glared at him, "Why should I listen to you?!" he spat out and folded his arms. "What ever.. I am not going to fight over this.. I am leaving anyways.." He said and turned dashing and poofing away. Lee's eye twitched. "I am not letting him get away.. I am going to get Gaara before he leaves!" He yelled determined and jumped up running to the hotel. However he didn't know that Gaara and Riku were already on their way out of the village, Riku''s arm tightly around Gaara. "You feeling a little better?" He asked calmly.

Naruto sweat dropped and grabbed a jacket for his friend and ran after him. Gaara slipped out of Riku's arm and looked at the ground. "Yeah...Where did you go?" He asked.

The taller man frowned at his lovers withdraw. He enjoyed last night, even though Gaara was crying the whole time he was still close to him. "..I went to tell Lee we were leaving and we both say goodbye.." He lied and walked a little slower allowing Gaara to get his own space.

Gaara sighed and walked farther ahead feeling he needed space but he froze when he heard a hissing sound and looked up to see a note tag burning on a tree beside him. He summoned his sand and it formed a dome over him as the tag exploded. Six men leaped down onto the road in front of them and one stepped forward swinging a chain at Riku.

The French body guard sighed deeply and easily jumped up over the chain. "Not again you assholes.. can you just leave us alone this time?" Riku did a sign and knives appeared near each one of the rouge nin. With a swift movement of his hands he easily used the wind t manipulate the knives to go at each man, trying to go strait through their hearts.

The men all dodged but one and leaped up into the tree's. Gaara frowned and stepped out of the sand walking past Riku. "You can handle this can't you?" He asked not in the mood for a battle. The leader of the ninja's smirked and formed a sign. "Don't think you can get away!" He said and within a blink of a eye a glass dome dropped from a tree and trapped the Kazekage. Gaara blinked in surprised and summoned his sand out of his gourd and used it to hit the side of the dome, his eyes widened when the glass absorbed the chakra in his sand and it fell limply to the ground. "This is a forbidden jutsu." Gaara said his voice echoing in the small space.

Riku's eyes widened, "Gaara!" Then those same piercing green eyes locked onto the leader. A knife formed in his hand and he gripped it tightly. "Let him go now! Then leave us the hell alone if you want to live.." He growled out stepping closer.

Gaara pulled out a kunai and started to try and make a hole in the glass but frown when he didn't even leave a mark. He placed his hand on the side of the glass only to quickly pull it away when he felt his chakra being sucked out of him from touching it, just by being inside it it was slowing draining his chakra. This is why the jutsu was forbidden...it would take all your chakra till you died, though lucky for him he had more chakra then a person normally would have so he had some time to try and break out. The men all throwing different attacks at the body guard.

Riku kept tossing knives at each guy finally getting them completely down until the leader remand. Jumping forward he landed in front of him. The knife was raised resting it's self on his neck, "Let him out..." He growled out.

"No I think I will drain him comply of all his chakra...I could use some of yours as well." the leader said grabbing Riku from around his neck and throwing him making him slam into the dome, the moment he touched it his chakra was being drained out. "Riku!" Gaara yelled from inside the dome and started looking through his vest trying to find something to use to get out.

The body guard struggled to move away but already half of his chakra was drained not including what was took moving the knives through the air. he dropped down to one knee coughing and holding his chest trying to catch his breath finding the impact took it out of him. Just then Lee jumped in and side kicked the leader of the gang to the ground then dropped kicked him in the face. "Someone is a little horrible at taking out some rouges.." Lee joked out to Riku and grabbed the guy up by his shift. "Alright.. I am very ticked an do not have enough time, now I am going to say this before I pummeled you into a bloody pulp. Please let my Gaara-kun out of there."

Gaara was on his knees feeling weak but the moment he saw Lee he was both shocked and relived. 'Whats he doing here?...Wait my?' He thought and watched the leader smirk at the leaf ninja holding him up. "Once the jutsu is cast it can't be broken..nothing can make it past that dome." He said and throw down a smoke bomb easily slipping out of Lee's grip and leaped up into a tree. "Your friend will die and I will get all his chakra."

Lee froze. "Gaara-kun is dying.. he is dying and I can not help him...' His thoughts pressed into him. Unwillingly the body moved over to the glass and lee laughed lightly. "You obviously do now know me.. I will protect anyone I love.. even if it costs me my own life.. I will save Gaara-kun.." He muttered then raised his voice as his first clenched and he began punching the glass. "I will save Gaara-kun! I will prove to him that i do love him! I will finally kiss him! And then I will kill you! I will not let Gaara die here because I love him! He is my youth!" Lee yelled out the last line and Riku wen tot stop him but froze in his place. he glass cracked and shattered into a million pieces glistening in the sun. Quickly the leaf ninja moved in and wrapped his arms around Gaara, "Are you ok..?" he asked worriedly. Riku just sat there astonished. Lee had saved Gaara and he couldn't. His own words from the night before came back to him. 'You are not weak, you just need a strong person with you to let you reach your potential.' 'Lee is stronger than me.. and..Gaara looks at him so fondly even though he hurts thinking about Lee..' The body guard thought to himself siting back down and staring at the two.

Gaara closed his eyes and wrapped his arms around the older male. "Lee..." He whispered. The leader stood there shocked, no one had ever broken the dome before. He stared at the two for a moment then formed a sign and poofed leaving them alone. Gaara suddenly pulled out of Lee's arms and grabbed his hands frowning. "Your knuckles are bleeding..." He said looking at the blood dripping off Lee's fingers. Naruto finely caught up and panted leaning on a tree to catch his breath, he looked at the broken glass, Riku sitting on the ground, and Gaara looking worried over Lee. "Uhh what I miss?" He asked confused.

Lee pulled his hands back and tried to hide them. "I-I am fine.. you are very sweet..but.. I am more worried about you.. are you ok..?" He asked faintly and glanced to Riku then back to Gaara. The eldest male stood up and rubbed his arm. He knew he had been beat, he just wanted the best for Gaara and maybe he wasn't the best. Sulking back over to Naruto he explained everything then messed up his hair. "I am going to go to the sand village ahead of you guys.. can you make sure Gaara gets there safe..?" He hesitantly asked Naruto and lit up a cigarette.

Naruto blinked then grinned. "Alright..stay safe." Naruto said and looked back at his friends. Gaara reached for Lee's hands again and then pulled wrappings out of his vest and started to wrap up Lee's hands carefully. "I'm chakra drained..but I am not hurt...Lee what were you yelling outside the dome?" He asked and then looked away from Lee his face heating up. "And what happened to your shirt?" Naruto sweat dropped and walked over dropping the older males jacket next to him then started digging, he needed to bury the glass since the draining jutsu was still on it.

Lee gulped as he watched Gaara's small slender hands wrap up his own. Muttering out he told Gaara what he had said, "T-that.. well that.. I would save you an that..er.. I would prove to you that I really do love you.. that I would kill that guy for trying to hurt you. Umm I would protect you with my life because I do that to the people I love.. and you are my youth.." Lee looked away ready to be yelled at. But when he did not hear yelling his turned his head back and glanced at Gaara.

Gaara's eyes had watered again but this time not out of sadness or anger, he leaned forward and rested his forehead on Lee's shoulder as he stared down at their hands which he had still not let go of. Naruto smiled at the two and started digging a little more quieter so not to ruin their moment. 'I guess thats Gaara's silent way of saying he believes him.' He thought.

Seeing Gaara's eyes and his reaction Lee let out a shaky sigh and relaxed. Raising his hand he rest it on the back of Gaara's head and closed his eyes leaning into him, just enjoying the fact Gaara was close to him and loving him. "Gaara-kun.." He breathed out in a whisper.

A small smile formed on the Kazekage's lips at the warm feeling that was now being felt in his heart, the pain was starting to fade. "Nani...?" He asked letting his tears of joy finely fall. He had never cried for something happy before.

"I love you..." was Lee's simple reply as she nuzzled his head into Gaara's soft red hair, inhaling his scent and relaxing even more. 'This is making me happy.. I just want to scream out to the world that Sakura can go die an I love Gaara..." He thought to himself.

Gaara couldn't hold back anymore and he throw his arms around Lee's neck almost knocking him over. "I l-love y-you to Lee.." He sobbed out and tightened his arms around him. "T-This f-feels like a dream..I d-didn't think this could happen.." He mummed out after a moment.

Lee blushed his eyes widened for a moment before he wrapped his arms tightly around Gaara's waist. "I am sorry about before.. I promise never to hurt you ever again.. it will stay like a dream forever because it is reality.." Lee whispered out into Gaara's ear before kissing it lightly trying to be affectionate.

Gaara's face heated up from the kiss to his ear and he closed his eyes half way. "I f-forgive you Lee.." Gaara whispered back and smiled again. "Are you gonna kiss him or what?" Naruto asked using a stick to push glass into the hole he had dug. Gaara blushed and pulled away a little form the older male to glare at Naruto. "What? I know you want him to." He said shrugging his shoulders.

Lee blushed and moved his hand up gently cupping Gaara's face and turning it back to him. "I never did get to kiss you back before.." He murmured before closing his eyes and pressing his lips to the soft pink ones in fronnt of his.

Gaara's eyes widened and he blushed a dark red before closing his eyes tightly and shyly returning the kiss. He felt his heart beating faster in his chest and felt like 100 butterflies were in his stomach. Naruto grinned feeling happy for his friends glad they were finely together.

Lee pulled back from the kiss and then remembered something. "Gaara-kun.. umm.. before yesterday I was going to give you a gift.. well here.." he said pulling the small box out of his sleeping pants and handing it to Gaara.

Gaara tilted his head then took the box opening it, his eyes softened and he pecked Lee lovingly on the lips. "Thank you...I will wear it always." He said putting the necklace around his neck then looking back up at Lee.

Lee grinned at the kiss then couldn't help but yell, 'yosh!" and he jumped up pulling Gaara up as well close into his chest. Lee was happy now. He had his best friend, Riku wouldn't be around for awhile and now, he had his lover. The one person through everything was always there for him. Who forgave him and who would now love him for ever.

"See told you, you had to safe his life to win his heart!" Naruto said and Gaara looked confused but snuggled into Lee anyway.

Lee laughed softly. Naruto was kind of right. But that didn't matter what mattered was getting Gaara happily back to his home before Riku changed his mind. An getting Lee a shirt, that kind of mattered too, But probably not to Gaara.
