When I awoke the smell of breakfast cooking wafted into my room. I rubbed my eyes made my bed and walked to the kitchen. I smiled at the sight of Sasuke cooking us food. I sat down and waited until the food was placed in front of me. Sasuke was not happy until I had eaten my food. He then ate his portion and left me to get ready.

Chapter 9

Once we were showered and dressed, Sasuke insisted on taking me out in the village to buy food and walk me through the village. We walked past the ramen shop and Sasuke settled me down against a tree.

Sasuke: Stay here Mika I'll be right back I have to run an errand

Me: (surprised) In the Ramen shop?

Sasuke: (nods) yeah be right back (goes in)

Sasuke came out five minutes later leading a depressed Naruto. Naruto came to me and knelt, while Sasuke leaned against the wall.

Naruto: (head down) Mika I transformed into Itachi yesterday, it was me who came to the hospital not the real Itachi.

Me: you mean? It was…

Naruto: yes I'm sorry I didn't know please forgive me!

Me: Sasuke told you right?

Naruto: (nods) yes I'm so sorry!

I looked deep into those sapphire glistening water filled eyes and knew I couldn't stay angry with the bouncy blonde forever. I rested a comforting hand on the blonde's firm shoulder, I felt Sasuke's smile as I pecked Naruto on the cheek.

Me: Naruto thank you for the apology

Naruto: (blushes) Mika….. I'm also sorry about…

Me: (laughs) it's all right Naru I have one too I know you can't control it

Sasuke put his arm around my shoulders and squeezed comfortingly.

Sasuke: I'm glad you two made up I don't know what to do about Sakura through

Naruto: (laughs eyes sparkling) I don't think you can do anything about her Sasuke!

I threw my arm around Naruto's shoulders and was comforted by Sasuke's hand on the nape of my neck. We stayed like that as we strolled through the village laughing and joking.
