“I knew that I was going to die, Koroshi…You remember, I told you about my disease.” Itachi said. Koroshi nodded. “And when I discovered how Sasuke felt about you, I planned to use that to your advantage, and to get him to fall in love with you…and hopefully, for you to fall in love with him, if at all possible. I wanted for you to give him a family, since I took his family away from him.” Koroshi gasped. Naruto’s mouth gaped open. Killer Bee raised an eye brow “Itachi, how could you even think of such a thing?” Naruto asked. “Koroshi has basically sacrificed everything just to be with you. She is head over heels for you. Why would you want her to be with Sasuke? They’re almost like brother and sister, since you had the Blood Ceremony with her! That’s crazy.” “Itachi-sa….Itachi….” Koroshi murmured. “I knew Sasuke’s feelings toward you. I hoped that one day you would return his feelings, so that you could rebuild our clan together with him, Koroshi,” Itachi said. “I didn’t think about the fact that you are already rebuilding the clan with me, by having children with me. I never thought of that. I just knew…that Sasuke has never been really social or flirtatious, and he has never really been concerned with having a family of his own…he just wanted to kill me. But now that he knows the truth, it is different. I want for him to make a family for himself, and protect and love them. You are the only family he has left alive, Koroshi.” Itachi said softly. Tears streamed down Koroshi’s face. So, this had been Itachi’s true plan.
