Koroshi followed her husband through the forest, when suddenly there was a presence on their tails. “Wait! You are Itachi, right?!” She heard Sasuke’s voice. Itachi looked back, over his shoulder, at Sasuke. Koroshi does the same. “Why is Koroshi here?” Sasuke asked along the way. “We just got married,” Koroshi answered him. Sasuke’s eyes narrowed slightly, glancing at Koroshi. “You married a dead man? Instead of being with me, even though I’m actually, um, alive?” “Yes, what of it?” Sasuke shook his head. “Nothing, nothing. Itachi…you knew you had a disease and you still fought me. You knew you were going to die. What did you want from me, with Koroshi?” “I’ll answer your question later, but in short—to rebuild the clan.” Itachi said. Sasuke followed them, all the way to Kabuto.
