Ch11



"Hinata, Naruto come in. How can I help you two?" came Shizune's voice from down the hall.



Shizune had stuck her head out the door of the Hokage's Office when Tsunade noticed Naruto and Hinata where headed for her office. Tsunade and Shizune have taken to watching sectain events around the village through a crystal ball left behind by the Third, this habit started up when they felt the need to watch Sasuke and Sakura just in case he tried anything, and from there the two had become obsessed. Though for the productivity of the village this habit was nothing more that a miracle. First off it helped Tsunade kick her gambling habit as well as gotten her to finish her paper work even if she was only using it basically as a tv guide.



"Well actually Shizune, we need to speak with the Hokage." Naruto answered holding the door open for Hinata as they stepped into the outer office.



"Really what for?" Tsunade fired from her office door.



"Hello Lady Hokage." Hinata said politely



"Hey Granny Tsu..." Naruto was interupted by a crack on the back of the head from his girlfriend, "huh... what was that for?"



"Naruto, we're asking the Hokage for help with a very delicate situation. We need to be respectful to everyone involved... yes including him."



Naruto had a thoughtful look on his face for all but a moment, "Your right Nata, I'm sorry" then he leaned in and kissed his pearl-eyed goddess. "Lady Tsunade I apologize for my lack of respect."



At the moment Hinata smacked Naruto on the back of his head, Tsunade's jaw dropped, only for shock to deepen when Naruto agreed with the young Hyuga, and when they proceeded to kiss, it was almost too much to take. It was only when Naruto apologized for being rude did Tsunade lose all control and explode laughing, with Naruto following quickly after.



"W-What's so funny Lady Hokage?" Hinata stuttered completely flabbergasted at Naruto being respectful.



After a few moments, Tsunade calmed down enough to explain, "Hinata the funny thing is that Naruto calling me Granny, though annoying as it is, is his way is showing me the greatest respect he can. By calling me granny he is placing me in the categorize of truly precious people, the ones who he would do absolutely anything, I figure the only position that would hold more regard would be... well ... yours and any children he has in the future, those who hold a piece of his heart instead of just a place in it."



At this point both Naruto and Hinata were bright red from the neck up. "Okay you two what do you need from me?"



"Well, we came to tell you we're moving into my fathers old house."



"We?" Tsunade said with a sly grin.



Naruto and Hinatas faces began to glow again, "Yeah, well that's part of the other reason we came to see you. Well, after I told Nata everything, and you probably could guess how that went, her father came to visit her. Unfortunately or not so unfortunately, I was still kind of on an emotional high from her response and gave her a kiss on the cheek, right in front of her father. It didn't go over well," Tsunade cocked an eyebrow at that line, "Let's just say he threw some insults, Nata threw my father in his face." Tsunade took on a very interested expression at that bit, "He said I wasn't worthy of her, and shortly after I basically threw down the 'proverbial gauntlet' at him as well as telling him that kyubi and I have sort of become allies."



"What?!" Tsunade and Shizune barked in complete shock.



"Well last night Kyubi and I had a long talk an he agreed to basically train me and fight with me, at least more willingly now." At this Tsunade's eye began to twitch, and she wanted to kill the boy.



After taking a deep calming breath Tsunade asked, "Okay, so what is your request?"



"Well Nata's father said he was going to come and have you remove her shinobi status and after that he's probably intending on keeping her is the Hyuga complex or sent away for some unknown amount of time just to keep her from me and we just want your support in collecting her personal effects and anything else we have to do to stay together.... I just found her I'm not going to let her be taken away even by her father."



Tsunade sat back, her expression thoughtful "Well your konoichi status will be easy to maintain unless he can find some proof to say your either medically unfit for active duty or mentally unstable, both are easily refuted especially by me as the greatest medical ninja Konoha has ever seen (other than Sakura who will probably surpass me in a few years. It would have happened by now if she didn't ask to be put on the reserves to take care of her husband.)" Tsunade took on more contemplative expression, "Well technically you became an adult the moment you became a shinobi, so by all rights you can walk it to the Hyuga complex collect your things and walk away, but I know of a couple of shinobi who would be willing to help you with the move as well as keep the Hyuga's in 'line'"



[I could do that myself kit, if you left me]



'Good idea, but lets use that as a back up plan'



Tsunade began rifling through papers on her desk "Lets see, Kakashi, just finished a mission and I think he'll be more than willing to help, I would love to see his face when you tell him why your going to Hinata's old home. Did you know Kakashi's jonin squad leader was your father, back when he was a genin?"



"No...hey five bucks says he has next to no reactions!" Naruto blurted out



"Naruto!" Hinata whined



"Deal" Rifling through more papers, "Let's see Hinata your old sensei, Kurenai, is free so she should be able to help, and that means Asuma," checking some more,"yep, Asuma's free as well. And you know what, check with Sakura she may want to help too."



"Lady Tsunade, I don't think we need all these people to get things from my fathers house." Hinata stated.



"Well, basically three, four, five Jonin or higher level ninja are a very daunting, especially for some one looking for trouble. Lets say keeping you inside the compound or something along those lines. And at that point even the entirety of the Hyuga clan would have problems."



"Wait a sec five jonin level or higher ninja... I only count four, Kakashi, Kurenai, Asuma, and Sakura. I mean she would be a jonin by now if ...."



"Naruto you my only be a genin by skill level but unofficially the only thing stoping you from becoming a chunin is some level of planning and leadership skills, and on top of that on a power stand point especially if you add in the fact that you now have better access to Kyubi's power your not far from jonin either."



"I was wondering why I was the only one of the group I graduated with to be a genin."



[I can help you with that problem, too]



"The only thing I really can't help you with is the repercussions of what your doing the Hyuga have their own clan laws that I'm not well versed in so the perverbial shit could hit the fan with this. As Hokage I'm not supposed to get involved with clan ordeals unless it directly involves village safety."



[I got an idea]



'What?'



[Well, if she wants village safety then a little show of power followed by the girl 'helping' you regain control should make it prevalent on keeping the two of you together.]



'you know your some kind of evil genius'



[Yep]



'But we need to let the others in on the plan'



[NO SHIT!]



"Hey Granny Tsunade, the fox just came up with a plan that may help take a little more control in this situation" she looked intrigued.



"'He' came up up with a plan to help?"



"Yeah, I told you we've come to an agreement. Just listen to the entire thing, before shooting it down." And from there Naruto explained Kyubi's plan.



"Good plan, but it might set the villagers off on their own rampage to get you imprisoned or worst"



"So plan E"



"More like Z, kid. Why don't we deal with one problem at a time."
