Chapter 11
Reviews from AFF.net
Tweedleedee: Well, here you go!! Smint45: I agree, I love uke/painslut Sasu XDD Jessica: We’ll probably be writing a sequel to ‘Hold on tightly, let go lightly’ MisatosPenPen: It’s possible XD GoldenKitsune: Yeah… she’s a bit psycho. Angelj232000: Well, you’re about to find out! XD ======================================================== Sasuke shook slightly as he made his way to the beautifully decorated alter where he would be getting married in just a few moments. It was amazing how nervous he was even though he was already so close to the other man, it still unnerved him to no end that he would now be a married man. He felt a bit bad though, he was initially deceiving his whole family by marrying the blond, even though he would never even think of changing his mind. He was sure they would find out eventually, he hoped they would never find out but things happened...He stood there next to the rose decorated archway, the entire garden covered in the same flower, all white. Naruto wanted white... to symbolize purity, giving more emphasis on the meaning of the color as it pertained to weddings. Of course as in tradition, he hadn’t seen Naruto yet, not for lack of trying though. Sasuke wasn’t a superstitious person and he felt no need to follow the rules but Naruto would have none of it and had his entire family thwart his attempts at talking or even seeing his fiancé.
Sasuke sighed almost impatiently, he wanted the ceremony to start... he wanted to see his gorgeous lover...
XX
Naruto was going to throw up. Any second now.
It was hard to believe that the day had finally come. Soon, he would be marrying Sasuke. He would be married. He’d always dreamed of this day but never thought it would happen. How wrong he’d been.
As he sat in an ornate chair in front of a mirror in a tent set up just for him, he tried his best not to freak out. Mikoto had volunteered to help out and she now stood behind him, carefully placing red roses within his hair that matched the bouquet he would carry down the aisle. She’d also done his hair beautifully. His bangs were swept to the side and some strands were piled atop his head, the rest falling down his back in a soft cascade of curls. It was gorgeous.
All that was left was his veil to be placed on. It was made of the same lace as the sleeves and trailed down his back and over the floor, just as long as the train on his dress. It, too, was studded with crystals.
“Thank you again for helping me with this. I don’t really have anyone for these things, since my mom died and all.”
“It’s my pleasure, sweetheart. You look beautiful and I know Sasuke will think so too.” The older woman smiled as she placed the last rose in his hair. She had known from the first moment she had seen Naruto that there was something amiss. She couldn’t have quite put her finger on it, it wasn’t anything physical by any means, the blond made a very pretty woman and she knew that most who saw Naruto would have not suspected a thing.
“I want you to know... I will always support the two of you, your love is real and genuine and I know you make Sasuke happy... That’s all I want for my son.” She leaned down and kissed the blonde’s cheek gently before straightening once more and taking the long veil from its resting place, gently placing it atop the curled locks.
“I’m not surprised you’ve figured it out,” Naruto sighed, turning to look at the older woman once the veil was in place. “Sasuke suspected you did. To be honest, I’m surprised you’re completely okay with it. But I guess that’s just the kind of mother you are – an awesome one.”
He smirked as he stood and carefully made his way into the middle of the room. It was a little awkward with such a long train.
“I’m glad you’re going to be my mom, too.” A flush gathered on his cheeks as he leaned in and hugged her.
There was a knock on the door a moment later and Minato stepped in. His eyes immediately teared up.
“Baby, you look beautiful.” He stepped quickly across the room and took Naruto into his arms.
Mikoto stepped out of the room, giving them some privacy.
“Thanks, daddy,” Naruto whispered, holding on a little longer than necessary. But then he could hear the music starting up and knew it was time. Taking his father’s arm, he was led to the opening of the tent. He could see Kiba heading down the aisle to take his place up at the front as his ‘man of honor and the blond grinned.
“Let’s go. It’s time,” Minato smiled. Careful of the gorgeous dress, he placed his hand on top of Naruto’s and they began their walk down the aisle.
Sasuke heard the music and almost started hyperventilating. The nerves ate away at him but he forced himself to calm down as he felt a hand placed gently on his arm and looked over to see his brother giving him a reassuring look. As much as Itachi loved to ‘flirt’ with Naruto- as hilariously ironic as that was- the man had always supported the two of them and was very happy for his younger sibling.
Giving the older raven a tentative smile, trying to convey he was alright, he faced forward again and almost gasped as he saw the most beautiful thing... his future ‘wife’ only meters away and approaching closer with every slow step. Sasuke felt the air leave his lungs at the picture Naruto made in his eyes.
The white dress sparkled with the crystals and it fit the man perfectly. The long blond hair only accentuated the beauty that was Naruto and Sasuke felt himself shaking a bit more, tears welling up in his eyes as the man approached with his father.
This was it...
Naruto looked up from beneath the veil and he nearly forgot how to breathe as he spotted Sasuke in his perfect tux. He looked amazingly handsome. Tears gathered at the corners of his eyes and he mentally thanked Mikoto for advising him to wear waterproof makeup.
When they’d reached the alter, Minato turned to Naruto and smiled, though it was watery. A single tear dripped down his cheek as he grasped the piece of veil over the blonde’s face and tucked it back.
“Oh, daddy,” Naruto whispered, reaching out to catch his tear. He kissed Minato on the cheek and then the older blond took his hand and Sasuke’s, and joined them. “Take care of my baby, Sasuke,” he murmured before taking his seat.
Now standing beside his soon-to-be husband, Naruto beamed over at him. “I love you, Sasuke,” he whispered before the minister began.
“Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to join this man and woman in holy matrimony.” He smiled at Naruto and Sasuke and then glanced out over the crowd. “Marriage is the union of husband and wife in heart, body and mind. Through marriage, Sasuke Uchiha and Naruko Uzumaki make a commitment together to face their disappointments, embrace their dreams, realize their hopes and accept each other’s failures. They will promise one another to aspire to these ideals throughout their lives together, through mutual understanding, openness and sensitivity to each other. Into this holy estate these two persons present now come to be joined by my word. If any person can show just cause why they may not be joined together, let them speak now or forever hold their peace.”
Sasuke’s hand tightened around Naruto’s as he looked into those beautiful blue eyes. This was probably the happiest moment of his life to date and the words being spoken by the Minister were making him tear up all over again. The words were true and mirrored everything he ever wanted to give his lover.
Naruto didn’t even look up. His gaze was locked with Sasuke’s and he knew nobody would ruin this moment. His manicured thumb gently stroked over the back of the raven’s hand and he lifted his other to gently wipe at the moisture beneath his eyes.
Seeing that nobody was going to interject, the Minister smiled and prepared to continue.
That was when there was a loud screech.
Everyone turned to look at the woman racing across the garden towards the ceremony. Naruto had no idea who she was. All he knew was that she had pink hair and she was ruining his wedding!
“Stop! This can’t happen!” Sakura screamed. “It’s a lie, it’s all a lie!”
The guests all began to whisper between themselves, stealing glances at the bride, who was standing completely shocked at the altar.
“Mr. Uchiha, please, you have to listen to me! Naruko is-”
“Get her out of here,” Fugaku ordered.
Two security guards appeared and stalked towards the raving woman, ready to escort her off the property.
“What’s going on?” Naruto whispered, his eyes filling with tears for a completely different reason now.
Sasuke glared daggers at Sakura, he had a feeling she may do something drastic but honestly, how in the hell did she think she could pull it off? He had full support of his family and most of the town, not to mention, his family pretty much hated her after the trouble she had caused his father.
Turning his gaze back to the only one that mattered, Sasuke smiled reassuringly. “Don’t worry baby... she’s not going to ruin anything, everyone’s on our side.” He wiped the tears that were beginning to escape Naruto’s eyes and lifted the perfectly manicured hand, kissing the back of it gently.
Naruto watched as Sakura was removed by the security guards from the corner of his eye before turning his attention back to Sasuke. “I know, but…” He shook his head. “You’re right. It’s not ruined…”
“Well now,” the Minister cleared his throat, gathering everyone’s attention. “If you could please settle down, we’ll continue. Unless there are any other objections?”
Nobody said anything.
“Now where was I? Ah, right…” He cleared his throat again. “By gathering together today, we gather all the wishes of happiness and our fondest hopes for Mr. Uchiha and Ms. Uzumaki from all present here. We assure them that our hearts are in tune with theirs. These moments are so meaningful to all of us, for what greater thing is there for two human souls than to feel that they are joined together – to strengthen each other in all labor, to minister to each other in all sorrow and to share with each other in all gladness?
“This relationship stands for love, loyalty, honesty and trust, but most of all for friendship. Before they knew love, they were friends, and it was from this seed of friendship that is their destiny.
“Marriage is an act of faith and a personal commitment as well as a moral and physical union between two people. Marriage has been described as the best and most important relationship that can exist between them. It is the construction of their love and trust into a single growing energy of spiritual life. It is amoral commitment that requires and deserves daily attention. Marriage should be a lifelong consecration of the ideal of loving kindness – backed with the will to make it last.”
Turning to Sasuke, the Minister offered a gentle smile. “Do you Sasuke Uchiha take Naruko Uzumaki to be your wife – to live together in the holy estate of matrimony? Will you love her, comfort her, honor and keep her, in sickness and in health, for richer, for poorer, for better, for worse, in sadness and in joy, to cherish and continually bestow upon her your heart’s deepest devotion, forsaking all others, keep yourself only unto her as long as you both shall live?”
Sasuke’s tears were now running unchecked as he listened to the words and promises of love. He nodded at the question, never breaking eye contact with Naruto. “I do... and I always will.”
“And do you, Naruko Uzumaki take Sasuke Uchiha to be your husband – to live together in the holy estate of matrimony? Will you love him, comfort him, honor and keep him, in sickness and in health, for richer, for poorer, for better, for worse, in sadness and in joy, to cherish and continually bestow upon him your heart’s deepest devotion, forsaking all others, keep yourself only unto him as long as you both shall live?”
Naruto reached up to wipe some of the tears from Sasuke’s cheek, feeling like his heart was going to explode with happiness. “I will. Forever.”
“And now, we will have the exchange of rings.” The Minister nodded to Sasuke, giving him permission to place the ring on Naruto’s finger.
Sasuke took the ring from its resting place and held Naruto’s left hand in his. “I’ve chosen to say my own words, if that’s alright?” He glanced at the Minister, who nodded with a smile.
Facing the blond once more, Sasuke began. “We haven’t known each other for long but... the moment I saw you I knew that you were the one for me. I know this had started out as something of a business venture but I never saw you that way, I saw you as my fiancé and now I will see you as my wife. I will always love you Naruko, and nothing will ever change that.” He gently slid the ring onto Naruto’s slender finger, the white gold band twisted around itself in a sort of braid with blue diamonds accentuating the small divots around the precious metal.
Naruto couldn’t control himself as Sasuke said those words. The world around him died out; he couldn’t hear the quiet crying from the crowd gathered behind him, or the snaps as cameras took pictures. His own tears ran freely and he sobbed quietly.
“My mom used to tell me about my special someone out there – my soul mate. I never thought I would find that person, but I did, and you’re it Sasuke. I know my mother’s watching us and I know she’s happy and proud. You’re the perfect one for me and I love you. This is the beginning of forever.”
Taking out the ring he’d gotten for Sasuke, he smiled brightly. It was silver to match his own rings, but it had black diamonds embedded into the band. On the inside, he’d had the words ‘The beginning of forever’ engraved along with their initials.
Sliding it onto Sasuke’s ring finger, he dabbed at his eyes again.
The Minister’s smile was genuine as he beheld the couple in front of him, who had eyes only for each other. “May these rings be blessed as the symbol of this affectionate unity. These two lives are now joined in one unbroken circle. Wherever they go, may they always return to one another. May these two find in each other the love for which all men and women yearn. May they grow in understanding and compassion, and may the home which they establish together be such a place that many happy memories are made.”
He placed a hand on the couple’s joined ones. “May this couple be prepared to continue to give, be able to forgive and experience more and more joy with each passing day, with each passing year. Sasuke and Naruko are now beginning their married life together and we hope that they may have assistance from their family, the constant support of friend’s, and a long life with good health and everlasting love. As Sasuke and Naruko have consented to live forever together in wedlock and having declared the same by the giving and receiving of a ring, I pronounce that they are husband and wife.”
The Minister stepped back, giving them room. “You may now seal the promises you have made with each other with a kiss.” His eyes sparkled as he looked down at them. “Please, Sasuke, kiss your beautiful bride.”
Taking the blonde’s tan cheeks in both hands, the raven brought their lips together in a firm yet tender kiss, pouring all of his love into the act, his tears flowing even more as he felt Naruto’s grip tighten on his arms. He could hear the audience cheering and cameras flashing but it paled in comparison to the feel of Naruto’s lips against his, sealing their lives as a married couple. He had never felt as much joy as he did at that very moment.
“I love you so much,” Naruto whispered against Sasuke’s lips, stealing another tender kiss, which only made the crowd cheer more. When he pulled away again, he grinned brightly and took his husband’s hand, lacing their fingers together.
“Ladies and gentlemen!” The Minister called happily. “I present to you the loving couple, Mr. and Mrs. Uchiha.”
The crowd exploded with cheers. Cameras flashed all over the place, capturing the amazing moment. Naruto laughed, so happy as they made their way back down the aisle and people blew bubbles at them as they passed by.
A limo waited just at the entrance to the garden, ready to take them to the yacht where the
reception was being held.
Once they were inside and the door was closed, Sasuke was all over those delicious lips again and again, not able to get enough.
“God damn it baby... you look beautiful, I can hardly stand it... I love you so much.” Tears were still falling, his voice clearly choked as he tried to contain himself. He was just so incredibly happy, it was so alien to him that it was a bit overwhelming. “We did it... we’re married... you’re mine and I’m yours forever.”
“Sasuke, baby…” Naruto scooted into Sasuke’s lap and brushed the tears away with his thumbs. He kissed his husband, again and again and again, until the raven’s lips were colored with the lipstick he wore. He chuckled as he grabbed a tissue and cleaned him off.
“I don’t know if you saw your ring, but the inside says ‘The beginning of forever.’ That’s what today is. We’ll never be apart. I just know we’ll be one of those old couple’s who’ve been together like 60 years and have been happy the entire time.”
Sasuke’s tears were beginning to recede just a bit as Naruto’s words washed over him. He knew that Naruto was absolutely right. They were meant to be together and he knew they would be happy for a long time.
“I know...I just can’t believe this is happening. I never thought I could love someone like this. I can’t even explain it, it’s almost painful, but in a good way.” He looked at his ring and then held Naruto’s left hand, their rings side by side. “I like this color scheme.” he chuckled a bit, trying to lighten the mood, they were supposed to be celebrating after all.
“I know what you mean, because I feel the same,” Naruto smiled, looking down at their rings. “I saw that ring when we were in the store getting mine and it just screamed Sasuke at me.” He snickered as he leaned back against Sasuke, trying to position his dress in some way that was comfortable. There was just so much fabric.
“They’re like your eyes, see?” He traced one of the black diamonds with a finger. “And mine are like my eyes.” He shrugged. “They fit us.”
Reaching into the little mini fridge, he grabbed a bottle of champagne and two flutes, popping the cork as carefully as he could in the car and pouring some in the flutes.
“To us,” he toasted with a silly little smile, clinking their glasses together before taking a sip.
Smiling, Sasuke downed half the glass, his nerves not completely gone quite yet.
“Do you have any idea how much I’m looking forward to tonight? I can’t wait to undress you and have our first night together as a married couple.” Sasuke had everything planned out, he wanted it to be slow and gentle, at least for the first time that night. Of course he knew between the two of them, there would be many rounds of sex, but the first, Sasuke wanted it to be mind blowing in ways Naruto had never experienced before.
“Hmmm… I can’t wait either,” Naruto grinned, downing the rest of his glass. He refilled them both, knowing they needed to relax before they reached the reception.
“Anddd… I’ve got a little surprise for you beneath the dress. I can’t wait til you undress me and see it.” He laughed, nuzzling against Sasuke’s neck and peppering little kisses there. Finding the raven’s pulse, he attached his lips and suckled gently. “I just hope you like it…”
Sasuke moaned at the feel of Naruto’s lips on his neck, it was one of his more sensitive spots and the blond never failed to exploit that fact. “If you’re not careful, I may just have to fuck you in this limo... and while that may be kinky as hell, I doubt my family will be too pleased if they had to witness that.”
“But I’ve always wanted to fuck in a limo…” Naruto pouted teasingly, his bottom lip jutting out. “While we’re on our honeymoon, for sure.”
He smirked as he finished the contents of his second drink and poured another. He finished that, too, by the time they pulled up to the docks. A huge, white yacht was situated there, with three different levels. It was completely luxurious, owned by the Uchiha family. The interior had been done in all black and white, but it was completely tasteful.
A banner on the side of the huge boat read ‘Congratulations Sasuke and Naruko’. It looked like they were one of the first to arrive, which worked out well since they still needed to get some photos taken before the other guests arrived. “I need to change into my reception dress after a few pictures have been taken. I got something a little more… sexy.”
Sasuke smirked as he stepped out and held out his hand to his ‘wife’ and helped him out of the limo, kissing the soft lips once Naruto was standing.
“I can’t wait to see it.” he said quietly, content to just stand there and hold his husband. It was a bit strange to think that he had both a husband and a wife. In the public eye, his wife was Naruko Uzumaki-Uchiha but in his eyes and when they were alone, he was his husband, Naruto Uzumaki-Uchiha.
The next couple hours were spent with the photographer, taking photos of first Naruto and Sasuke in various places around the boat and on the small pier, and then photos of the whole family, with various mix ins of the married couple with one or two members of the Uchiha and Uzumaki family respectively. It was a taxing affair and Sasuke was more than happy when they were finished, he could use another drink...
After the pictures, Naruto disappeared into one of the room’s and with Mikoto’s help, changed from the beautiful wedding dress. The second one he’d chosen for the reception would be easier to dance in. It was a form-fitting mermaid styled dress that fit his body like a glove, with a slit up the front that revealed one, long leg. There was a black sash beneath the bust to match the colour scheme of the wedding. He carefully let his hair down and switched the red roses out for black ones.
“Well, what do you think?” he asked as he emerged, twirling in front of Sasuke.
Pulling the blond against him, Sasuke kissed the man’s lips and smiled. “Now you’re just being cruel... you look amazing. Any chance you’ll give a clue as to what you have under there?” he smirked and let his hand press against Naruto’s lower back, pressing their bodies together.
“Not with your mom here,” Naruto laughed, pushing himself up on his toes to kiss Sasuke once more. “How ‘bout we go get a drink, hubby?” Pulling away, he took Sasuke’s hand and they made their way to the reception room. Crystal chandeliers hung from the ceiling in the huge room, interlaced with black diamonds. The tables were round, each decorated with black candles. A table stood by the door with a big picture of Naruto and Sasuke all smiling in each other’s arms and another picture was projected over the ceiling. A huge, five-tiered wedding cake stood on another table, white with a black lace design, with black roses on it.
“I guess we can’t get too drunk since there will be some reporters here taking pictures…” Naruto sighed as they approached the open bar, but then smirked wickedly. “But we can get close, as long as we behave. It is a celebration, after all.”
“Fuck the reporters, drink as much as you want baby. They really shouldn’t be here in the first place.” It really did irritate the raven that the press wanted so badly to get everything they could of their wedding. As far as Sasuke was concerned, the reception should be off limits.
He ordered a martini and sipped at the salty drink, letting out a satisfied sigh as he leaned against the counter. Looking over at Naruto, he couldn’t help but grin like an idiot. Despite the reporters nosing around, he was still overly happy.
Naruto pressed close, tucking himself into Sasuke’s side as he sipped at his own martini. They managed to have a few and were properly buzzed by the time they had to make their entrance. They were announced and came through the doors to a roar of applause. They greeted so many people and soon two of their tables were filled with gifts.
“And now it’s time for the bride and groom to have their first dance together!”
A dance floor lay on the side of the room, right beside the DJ that had been hired. Naruto had chosen one of his favorite songs for them to dance to. He knew he was going to cry.
He slipped his hand into Sasuke’s as the familiar, beautiful song began to play.
When I think back on these times, and the dreams we left behind… I’ll be glad ‘cause I was blessed to get to have you in my life…
Pressing his body close to Sasuke’s once they were in place, he wrapped his arms around the raven’s neck.
When I look back on these days, I’ll look and see your face… You were right there for me…
Sasuke’s arms immediately wrapped around Naruto’s slim waist, his forehead resting against the blonde’s as they began to move together. The song was indeed beautiful and Sasuke felt himself getting emotional all over again. His lips would connect with Naruto’s every now and then as they slowly rocked to the music, their feet moving ever so slightly; he didn’t even notice when everyone else joined them on the dance floor.
Naruto tried to stifle his rising tears as he pulled back a little and rested his cheek against Sasuke’s. He nuzzled for a moment as they moved slowly, and then began singing quietly in his husband’s ear, his voice soft and melodic.
“In my dreams I’ll always see you soar above the sky, in my heart there’ll always be a place for you for all my life…” His arms tightened and his fingers gently rubbed against Sasuke’s neck. “I’ll keep a part of you with me, and everywhere I am there you’ll be…”
Pulling back again, Naruto locked gazes with Sasuke, his lips curving into a warm smile. “Well you showed me how it feels, to feel the sky within my reach, and I always will remember all the strength you gave to me… Your love made me make it through, oh I owe so much to you, you were right there for me…”
A few tears dripped down his cheeks. He couldn’t believe how emotional he was that day, but it was his wedding. He was allowed to just let loose and feel, as far as he was concerned.
Sasuke had no words, Naruto’s love simply poured into his soul and it was almost stifling, his stomach twisted and he wanted nothing more than to just let go and cry on the man’s shoulder. He rarely let his emotions get the better of him but today was an exception and he let himself be weak as he rested his forehead against Naruto’s shoulder, his body beginning to shake as he finally let the emotions overflow, he wanted Naruto to see how much he was affecting him.
Naruto held tightly to his lover, sliding a hand up to the back of his head. His fingers gently carded through that silky raven hair, aiming to sooth the man.
“Sasuke, I’m so glad I get to see this part of you. I want to see every part of you, parts that nobody else gets to see. You’re so amazing…” Placing his fingers beneath Sasuke’s chin, he brought his head up and claimed his lips in a slow, gentle kiss, one that kept going and going.
Sasuke sighed into the kiss, loving the feel of Naruto’s lips against his. The song was almost over and he almost wished it wouldn’t end, being in Naruto’s arms, in such a romantic moment really was something special.
They separated and Sasuke offered a genuine smile, one that only Naruto and his family had ever been witness to. “You’re perfect, you know that?”
“Nobody’s perfect, S’uke,” Naruto sighed, shaking his head. His eyes never left those tempting, full lips. That smile was breathtaking. He suddenly forgot how to breathe as he stared at his husband. It was still hard to believe that this had happened…
“C’mon, S’uke. It’s almost time for dinner so we should go sit down. We’ve still got all the speeches to get through.” Rolling his eyes, he took Sasuke’s hand and laced their fingers together.
