The Flame Princess

Sasuke and I had had the rope connecting us together for a couple months now. As we had lived together and trained together each day we grew closer and closer together, much to Sakura's distain. Sasuke made me breakfast every day and warmed up to me quickly, we bonded and Kakashi decreed we could remove it.

Chapter 10

. Sasuke and I walked to training at the training grounds with the squad. Naruto waved as we met him, Sakura glaring daggers at me as usual at the bridge. Naruto saw the rope and pointed at it.

Naruto: hey guys you know you can remove that now right?

Both: (nod) yeah but we like it

Naruto: what you mean?

Sasuke: (chuckles) we've grown used to it Naruto

Me: (hugs Sasuke around the neck) he's been helping me Naruto through the rope

Naruto nodded and smiled, his sky blue sapphire orbs glittering in understanding. Sakura watched this scene between us all confused. I smiled and looked at the two people who were slowly becoming my two true only friends.

Kakashi: (walks up thinking) that punishment worked like a charm

Kakashi cleared his throat letting us know of his presence. We all turned at this and got into training stances. Kakashi asked us to take off the rope but Sasuke refused and glared at him with that famous defiant look that all the girls swooned over.

Sasuke: (glares) no Kakashi-Sensei we won't remove it

Kakashi: (puzzled) why Sasuke?

Me: Kakashi-Sensei please don't make us take it off, it's our bond of friendship for now

Kakashi looked at us both deeply in the eyes. Sasuke's dark blue onyx and my chocolate brown. He sighed as Naruto even turned his crystal blue watery eyes on him as well.

Kakashi: (gives in) fine keep it on

I laughed in glee and tackled both Sasuke and Naruto laughing with them as they crashed to the ground. Although inside I knew my happiness wouldn't last so I knew I should enjoy it while it lasted.

Kakashi: (claps hands) all right you three! Up!

We obeyed at once and began to train really hard against each other until nightfall. I wished this friendship would last but knew truly in my heart that it would not. Something was coming to break the friendship I had with the young Uchiha.
