Chapter Twelve
Naruto headed straight to Iruka and Kakashi after Sasuke ran off. The Hokage was already gone and now Iruka and Kakashi were patrolling so to speak.
“Sensei’s!” Naruto yelled, running to the two men.
“Naruto?” Iruka raised an eyebrow. “What’s wrong?”
“I seen Sasuke!” The blonde shouted while panting.
Iruka’s and Kakashi’s eyes went large.
“Where? What did he say and do?” Kakashi asked.
“I was a few feet from the wall.” Naruto began. “He told me…he didn’t mean to hurt Sakura and doesn’t know why. I don’t know why, but I believe him.”
Kakashi rubbed his chin and looked at Iruka. “Do you believe it could be true?”
“I do. I really believe that, that jutsu is effecting him.” Iruka said. “But I’m not an expert, so I can’t say for sure.”
“I bet it’s right.” Kakashi said. “Naruto do you believe Sasuke was actually sincere, like he truly didn’t know why he was doing it and why?”
“Yes I already told you.” Said Naruto. “Even though we always fought and he’s an ass, I think it wasn’t truly Sasuke.”
“Naruto did Sasuke to anything else?” Kakashi asked. “I get the feeling you didn’t tell us everything.”
Naruto turned red and rubbed his cheek.
“Uh well he kind of…like…kissed me.” He said.
“I see.” Iruka said with a sweatdrop.
“And he held me down.” Naruto added.
“He didn’t try to hurt you?” asked Iruka.
“No.”
Kakashi and Iruka glanced at one another and finally cleared their throats.
“I think I get it.” Kakashi said. “Naruto it’s good you came to us. Try not to fight him…at all.”
“Yes, be careful.” Iruka said and Naruto took off to visit Sakura.
“I’m getting the picture that Sasuke wasn’t himself when he attacked Sakura, but….” Kakashi said. “There might be another reason.”
“Like he’s gay, but was trying to tell himself he’s not.” Iruka said and Kakashi nodded.
“Right.” He sighed. “Lets go around the gate.” They collected their gear and left.
Meanwhile Naruto stopped by Sakura’s room and knocked. “Sakura it’s me, Naruto.”
“Come in.”
Naruto came in and Sakura was sitting at a table.
“How are you feeling.” Naruto asked.
“I’m okay, it’s not like anything much actually happened.” She said.
“Sasuke didn’t want to hurt you, he doesn’t even know why he did.” Naruto said. “He said that after I tried to attack him.”
Sakura looked up in surprise. “He said that?”
“Yes. It wasn’t him, but the jutsu making him to it.” Naruto said. “I know it’s hard.”
“Yeah. My parents are coming soon, I’ll tell them what you said.”
“Oh, I’ll be going then.”
“Naruto.” Sakura called and he turned around. “Thanks.”
“No problem. I’ll be seeing you.” Naruto said and waved, walking out.
‘Now Sasuke where are you?’ Naruto thought.

‘Now Sasuke where are you?’ Naruto thought.
