Chapter 12: Hot Springs
Chapter 12: Hot Springs
It took the girls a day to get to their destination of a small hot spring in the Fire Country. “You know Sakura I haven’t been to this Hot Springs for nearly eighteen years”
“Eighteen years why did you come here then…wait a minute wasn’t that about the time when Yondaime died saving the village”.
“Yes give the girl a cookie. Yes Sakura I last came here was with Shizune after the fourth died saving the village. After I healed her, Shizune then became my apprentice and we stayed here so that she may be at peace with herself because of the fourth”.
“So that is the reason why you brought me here so that I might forget about Naruto is that the reason Hokage-sama?”
“SAKURA while we are here don’t refer to me as Hokage I am simply Tsunade so don’t forget that, am I clear”.
“Yes, Hokage-sama…I mean Tsunade-sama I will try not to forget.”
“Well then shall we get settled in for the night I hear the hot springs calling us as well as a bottle of sake? Hey Sakura just relax and enjoy the moment we are here to take our minds off of the men in our lives. Am I right Shizune?”
“Yes, Tsunade-sama you are right.”
Later that night Sakura, Shizune, and Tsunade settled into the hot springs clothed in nothing but a towel. “Sakura now that we are here, please tell me how you feel and be honest with us we know how it is supposed to feel to lose the one you love.”
“Well I feel extremely depressed and ashamed because I could not bring back Naruto. I just couldn’t bring him back to us Tsunade. He sacrificed himself for my happiness not realizing what that meant. Even before the battle I was wondering who exactly I loved. I believed in my heart that I was falling in love with Naruto. Even after all this time I still can’t get him out of my mind. Tsunade, Shizune will this ever go away?”
“Sakura the pain will never go away even after many decades the heart will never stop aching”, said Tsunade.
“I still find myself yearning for Yondaime every now and then and when I saw my son I could feel his presence within him. Remember Sakura you can only ease the heart but you can never completely remove something from it. Naruto will always be inside your heart unlike Sasuke who was nothing more than a crush and a one sided love for you. You were able to ease him out of your heart but your first true love will always be with you, remember that always Sakura”, said Shizune.
“Thank you I do feel a little bit better. By the way Tsunade are you worried about perverts around these parts”.
“Thankfully the biggest pervert is not here, but the small fry I can deal with…”said Tsunade.
At that point all three sensed there was something amiss and they got up out of the springs and were in a battle ready position. “Who ever you are, you had better show yourself or else the consequences will be pretty drastic for you” said Tsunade. There was some rustling of leaves in the nearby bushes. Sakura then threw a kunai at the disturbance and heard “Hey don’t throw sharp objects” from the other side of the bushes. The voice somehow sounded familiar to all three women.
The person then came into view in front of all three women and was none other than Sasuke Uchiha. “Sasuke what are you doing here I thought ANBU was watching over you” said Sakura standing out of the water holding onto her towel.
“Yeah I got bored and had no choice to kill them as they wouldn’t let me leave Konoha temporarily. The only reason I left the village was to see Sakura and that is all. I had heard about Naruto and I wanted to talk with her, but as fate would have it the ANBU would not let me leave so I did what I had to do”.
Sakura proceeded to walk up to Sasuke and hit him square in the jaw and said, “Sasuke you bastard don’t you have any remorse about killing the members of ANBU. The Sasuke I remembered would not have done that. Sasuke you jerk that was the reason why I left you and went to Naruto. It was because of these actions that I lost all love for you. At least Naruto killing people can not be helped because he has turned into the Kyuubi”.
“Sasuke Uchiha killing your fellow villagers is unforgivable. The only true reason you are still alive is so that the Uchiha clan can be revived for the sake of the village and nothing else. If your clan were still around you would have been killed long ago when you returned to the village. So tell me why you are here Uchiha Sasuke” said Tsunade.
“Ha is that all you can think about. Truthfully if you were not here and it had been Sakura I would have raped her and forced her to bear my children. However since you are here I am going to have to rethink my strategy. I guess I will just have to take on the Hokage and then get my prize. Once I have Sakura I will remove any remnant memory of Naruto from her mind, and then she will be all mine. She will become my wife and the matriarch of my clan”, said Sasuke.
“If you think I will be your wife, then you have something to worry about Sasuke”.
“Do you take me for a fool, I learned a lot from Orichimaru and I have the power to do as I wish. None can stand in my way. Not even the Hokage has the strength to match mine”.
“Your arrogance will be your undoing Uchiha. You do not understand even my strength”, said Tsunade.
