It can’t be! Did he find the book? No even if he did it would just appear blank. Maybe mom… Please let it still be there? These thoughts ran through Sakura’s head as she ran.
When the group had caught up with Sakura. They found her standing in front of an old estate of some long-forgotten clan as though recalling something. Ino quickly joined her as the others walked slowly towards them looking at the gate and the large building that towered high above it.
As Sakura worked her way to unlock the gate, she and Ino told the story of how they met. Ino said
“I spot her and her mom*click* here. We both were watching her mom as we gave silent stares and shrugs to each other during her pauses. *click* She didn’t even notice me until we heard a click.” Sakura said
“Yes and after that my mom helped*click* take care of you as yours did with me. *click*...ah thanks now where was i… oh yeah. My *click* mom taught us both the ways of my mother’s clan when we were together because *click* we hardly left each other’s side. We were taught *click* here. However, the few times we were*click* apart my mom took advantage and secretly *click* brought me and taught me my clans’ history. *click* uh... ah…*click* it was hard but we did it in time before she got sick.” The was a loud thick click of a lock. Sakura turned to the large group and said.
“Uh will you guys come and help with the gates?” Sakura and Ino worked together as the group just looked at each other. Only Gaara stepped over to help. Slowly the group eventually went to each gate. Sakura added
“You have to use your chakra while opening it for it to move.” They poured their chakra into it as they forced it open. Sakura said
“The reason the clan… *Grunt* was killed… off was because the villages. As well as the other.. clans” *Grunting* The gates were a fourth opened as she said “... feared my families clan. *Sigh* That’s good.. *Panting* it will be easier to close” Gaara, Naruto went on one side as Kakashi and Sasuke went to the other.
”The only problem is you have to close it at the same time or all hell breaks loose.” Ino said
“We know this only because we wanted to test her mothers words. It proved right. I still have nightmares of it.” The four careful made sure they closed together. Ino and Sakura held their breath as they waited for the click then after hearing it let their breathe go.
“Now where was i… oh yes… There were three powerful jitsu” Sakura went down the path. They went down the third left branch off as she said,
“My clan was so uptight that they never told the name to anyone but those who master them. The first is Mereth en draugrim, They choose elves names for them. Why is a complete shock to me. Mereth en draugrim means Feast of wolves. Which is how it feels according to those who has survived it?! Mereth en draugrim eats away the chakra of any and all of ones enemies and stores it into ones body and all allies. It is very useful.” She took a slight right down the path towards a row of houses as though meant for the lesser members.
“Then there is Yaaraer which means Ancient one. This one was… is the most powerful. It allows the oldest body to be absorbed into the youngest body as well as the chakra. The two bodies become one whether the victim wishes it or not all three are like that. The last on is Agaryulnaerea Morier which means Blood-suckers dark one. It is named such because it does one of two things. It can be a source of healing or absorb the enemy or enemies body it can even save a dying person’s life by giving them a new body. All are very useful to the power holder, but I was sworn by my mother not to speak of such. It could get me killed.”They group looked around in amazement. This was the largest part of the village. Sakura said
“The clans murdered my family when my mom was young. My father’s brother was pre-engaged how ever after he did my father married her. Luckily only the women in our family can possess the great powers. There were very, very few males who had gotten it. We use the powers to control the weak members compared to the stronger ones. The women were always having at least twins though only one would be allowed to live. It happens in the womb. The chosen child slowly uses the Yaaraer to bring all babies into its body taking the chakra and all. The more babies you have the better you are to have a strong child.” She continued to tell the of her families history. They were so into it that when they reached their destination. They looked around Shockley. They had entered in the manor that towered over the fence, into the library. She looked around the room when she found what she was looking for she happily sighed.
“Good my fear was calmed.”
