Untitled Painting

Sai had no idea what Naruto was rambling about, but let him do it. Since the bed was cleared off, Sai took the liberties of laying down on his back, getting comfortable with an arm tucked under his pillow, and gave out a small, cutesy type of yawn. “What are you expecting, Naruto?” he asked, not really understanding the blond at all. He never did, but that was what made Naruto so attractive to him. The flaring temper, the honest smiles, the mood swings, and the determination displayed when something was obviously so hopeless for him to accomplish. It was all part of the design that made Naruto stand out and why people were so drawn to him, willing to change their ways. “I’m afraid I don’t really understand. I’m sorry…”, Sai then apologized. Naruto sighed again, sitting down off the side of the bed and looked down at him. “Well usually, the girl…er…whoever was on bottom is suppose to ask the guy…whoever was on top, all sorts of questions after sex…”, Naruto mumbled, not really sure if he should be explaining this part.

“You know, stuff like….um… ‘Please don’t go’ or ‘Do you love me’ or um… ‘Stay the night and let’s cuddle’”, he mimicked in a higher pitch, false feminine tone. Sai raised his eyebrows, cocking his head to the side as Naruto put on his display. Is that what Sai was suppose to say? He never read anything like that in his books on sexual acts or how to form relationships, but he did vaguely remember something about ‘dating’ and ‘intimacy’. “Really?” Sai asked, putting on another smile. “Alright then. Naruto, please don’t go. Do you love me? Please stay the night and puddle.” Naruto frowned a bit, then looked frustrated. “Not PUDDLE, CUDDLE!”
“It sounded like you said puddle.”
“Who stays the night to puddle?!”
“Well, you came over to shower. Maybe your toilet was broken too.”
“You make it sound like I have a piss fetish!”
“Do you?”

“NO!” Naruto exclaimed, grunting as he rubbed his own head. “You’re giving me a headache…” Sai moved over, making room for Naruto to lay down, patting the bed. Naruto slumped over on his side next to Sai, then rolled over to look at him. Sai was still on his back, his knees bent up and his legs crossed with both of his arms under his head. He looked at Naruto from the corner of his eyes, questioning. Much to Sai’s surprise, Naruto’s arm took hold of Sai’s hip, pulling him over and forced Sai to lay on his side, facing the other ninja. Nose to nose yet again for the night, Naruto looked him deeply in the eyes, causing Sai’s face to flush pink again as well. Naruto rolled to his back for a moment, reaching over to turn off the lamp on the night stand, then moved back toward Sai, looking at his face as his eyes adjusted to the newfound darkness. Sai didn’t move, feeling a fluttering in his stomach and chest that only increased as Naruto leaned in to kiss him deeply, but broke away a bit too soon for Sai’s liking. “Heh, Good night”, said Naruto, wrapping his arm around Sai’s waist, while his other arm tucked under his own head.

Sai blinked a bit, then shrugged, but found himself getting much more comfortable than when he was laying down by himself. The smell of sex still lingered in the air, but it wasn’t like when he was with Danzo. The smell didn’t hurt his nose or turn his stomach, in fact, it didn’t bother him at all. He didn’t have the urge and need to go and scrub every part of his body harshly under burning water or a need to get away from Naruto as soon as possible. It was only a matter of minutes before he was snuggled up against his teammate, sleeping more heavily then he had in years. Naruto’s deep breathing and constant warmth against his skin had lulled him into a deep, intoxicating sleep. If it wasn’t for a bird that perched on his windowsill in the late morning hours of the next day, Sai wouldn’t have woken up until that mid afternoon.

He whined a bit, rolling onto his back, finding himself a little chilly and only the bird for company. He sat up, surprisingly groggy, a little stiff and sore, but felt fine. The cum from the night before had dried to his chest, and he picked at the stains, waiting for his eyes to stop being blurry. He looked around the room, then slowly got up, making his way to the bathroom and noticed Naruto wasn’t anywhere, but the shower had recently been used and his toilet seat was up. He sighed a little, shaking his head and made use of the toilet and shower himself, drying his hair with a towel as he came back into his main room, going toward his art easel. He sat down at on the stool, but blinked at he saw a little note pinned to his canvas. “Huh?” Sai said out loud, then plucked the note up. He opened it up, reading it to himself.

~Sai, I noticed all of your paintings don’t have titles, but that’s fine, ya know. Not everything needs a title. Paintings or bonds with other people. Don’t try so hard to classify things! It’s about how you feel and what you do, not what you call it. A lot like what happened last night, it doesn’t need a title.

Sai cracked a smiled, folding the note in half neatly and eyed his nameless gallery. He took a pencil from his easel, then stood up, walking over to eye all of his paintings. He paused at one he found himself looking at the most while Naruto was with him last night, writing a name for it on the empty name board.

“Un…titled.”
