The Power of Youth... and Love

(So, I have a few ideas last night as I was going to bed, they all seem to make sense to me. I’m going to try them, but if my audience does not like it, I will edit this chapter or start the whole chapter over completely, Savvy?)

Chapter 12: A Test of Endurance: Naruto’s Hard Meditation

Naruto sat up for a minute, looking at the pleasantly sweet pregnant girl lying beside him. Hinata was wearing a soft silk set of Bra and Panties (presumably bought by Ino,) and was snuggling with his arm a little, his hand over her smooth, round belly. He gently pulled his arm away and moved down a little, kissing her forehead and running his hand down her back softly. This caused Hinata to wake up, smiling at her sweet fiancée, “good morning Naruto-kun.” HE smiled at her peacefully and said, “good morning Hina-chan, how are you doing?” She responded by snuggling into his arms, He smiled, and continued, “you go back to sleep ok honey, later your dad wants us to head over to the Hyuga compound, ok?” Hinata nodded and hugged Naruto once more, burying her face completely in his chest, it made him smile more. She loosened her grip, and Naruto got out of bed, He put on a T-shirt over his Boxers and walked out of the bedroom door (Ino and Sakura wouldn’t have cared if he was naked, but Hinata did care about him having clothes on around the house.)

He walked over to the kitchen and saw Sakura eating a banana, wearing her Nurse’s gown since her shift was today. “Who dragged you away from your ramen last night?” She asked, knowing the 2 things that he would go to hell and back for were Hinata and his ramen. “Her teammates, my teachers, and her family, in that order,” he responded, looking very unpleased about the whole thing. Sakura giggled, “Well, everyone but Kakashi and Iruka were probably getting gifts for you and Hinata-chan, Kakashi probably bought you a copy of his book, and Iruka wanted ramen, correct?” She knew enough about her friends and former teachers to know exactly what they were doing, even without being there herself; Naruto nodded. Sakura took one last bite of the banana and threw the peel away, walking over to Naruto. “I don’t wanna see her so hurt because of stuff like that again,” Naruto said, and his ‘sister’ gave him a reassuring hug. “I doubt anyone will do that to you Naruto,” she kissed his cheek, and Naruto wrapped his arms around her, feeling a bit better about the whole mess. She let go and grabbed her bag, “I’ll be home later, and Ino said she’d be making dinner tonight, ok?” She asked him, Naruto nodded. “Great, see you tonight,” and she walked out of the front door. Naruto walked over to the Fridge, and grabbed an apple, and bit into it, *I hope it doesn’t happen again,* he thought to himself

Ino waved the couple off a few hours later, “My Dad said he’d be coming over with some flowers, okay?” she asked them. Hinata waved and nodded, “Yeah, that’s fine,” She quickly turned around and snuggled into Naruto’s arm, and he started giggling. The calm Autumn winds started blowing, and Hinata giggled a little herself, thinking that her man’s Birthday was coming up, *what should I get him?* she wondered. They saw Konohamaru’s team ahead, and Naruto smiled, waving to them. Konohamaru glared at him and made a hand seal, “‘Transformation Jutsu’,” said Konohamaru, turning into a very muscular man. He walked up to Naruto and punched him hard, forcing him to let go of Hinata as he flew through the air, “Jerk, why didn’t you tell me you had a girlfriend, I thought you were like my big bro,” Konohamaru grunted, reverting back to his normal size. Naruto got up and looked really mad, but Hinata held up her hand, knowing exactly how to handle this. *Tsunade had always told me that I could always use my breasts as a very tasteful weapon,* Hinata thought, unzipping her jacket just enough to see a lot of cleavage, and she bent over just enough so Konohamaru could get a rather pleasant view. “Now Konohamaru, he didn’t do it intentionally, he would have told you eventually, understand?” she asked him; he was obviously way to distracted to disagree, so he nodded his head. Naruto wasn’t happy about what she did, but even he knew that was a very effective technique she was using. *I’m so happy that Naruto’s given me so much confidence,* she giggled to herself, standing back up and zipping up her jacket. Moegi grabbed Konohamaru, she was very upset due mostly to the fact that she loved him, but she wasn’t going to tell him that. Hinata saw the way she blushed and walked over to her, smiling at the young Kunoichi. She bent over and put her lips right next to Moegi’s ear, “you know, you’ll feel a lot better if you just tell him.” She whispered, knowing exactly how the girl felt. Moegi paused for a second and looked into Konohamaru’s eyes; she nervously and quickly kissed him on the lips. Hinata and Naruto smiled, walking away so Ebisu (who was in mild shock about all of what was happening,) wouldn’t yell at them for ruining their training.

They reached the Hyuga compound and walked over towards the main hall. Neji, who was outside training walked over to his cousin and her lover, “Naruto, Ten-Ten is very sorry for what happened last night, she didn’t realize you had plans.” “Nah, it’s fine, she just wanted me to bring stuff home with me, that’s not so bad,” Naruto said, smiling at his old friend. Hinata snuggled into Naruto’s arm, smiling at Neji, “I wasn’t mad at him at least,” She giggled. They all laughed a little, and Neji went back to his training; Hinata watched her cousin, she knew she would never be in the same league as him, but she knew she’d help him in any way she could.

The couple walked into the main hall, where Hiashi was meditating, “enter,” he said, knowing that someone was there. He opened his eyes to see his daughter and her fiancée sitting across from him, Hiashi smiled, “So, I guess we can get started.” He handed Naruto a small scroll, “this is the traditions that those outside of the Hyuga clan need to follow in order to become an honorary member, allowing you to marry my daughter.” Naruto read it, and suddenly looked scared, reading what he just did out loud, “I need to do a ‘test of endurance against the strongest member of the clan’?” He looked at the Hyuga leader, who simply shook his head, “I’m not even close to being the strongest, Naruto, the strongest is Neji. As far as the test is concerned, it is not fighting, but meditating, a true test of endurance.” Naruto was scared out of his mind, he knew how to meditate, but he didn’t have the concentration power to beat a Hyuga. Hinata took his hand, and he slowly calmed down, “Relax Naruto-kun, I’ll be here when it happens, as I am part of the Hyuga’s Main Family,” She said, Naruto felt a little more reassured. “I’m sorry Naruto, however, I believe if you can defeat me in a fight like you did, this should be nothing to you,” Hiashi smiled a little more, and Naruto grinned and nodded. “Alright,” Naruto said, “When do we start?”

Neji and Naruto faced each other while sitting, positioned to meditate and awaiting the orders to begin. “It’s okay Naruto, it’s not as hard as it looks,” Ten-Ten said confidently, she had done it once before when Neji and Ten-Ten announced that they were a couple, and passed with flying colors. Hinata looked at him and smiled, *I know you can do it Naruto-kun,* she thought. Hiashi had 2 giant barrels filled with water sitting above their heads; the test was to stay meditating for as long as possible, the water was meant as a form of distraction, by dropping a little bit of water on them over time. He gave them both a nod, and Neji and Naruto closed their eyes, slowly drifting off into the corners of their own minds. Hinata held onto Ten-Ten, hoping that Naruto would make it through, *please make it through Naruto-kun,* she thought, praying for him to endure her cousin.

An hour had passed, and neither showed any sign of breaking their focus, so Hiashi let the water loose. Water drops started to form under the buckets and started to drip on both man’s head. Another half an hour went by, and both Neji and Naruto remained motionless, so Hiashi pushed the bucketed a little until they were dripping on the tip each ninja’s nose. As soon as he did that, and the first drop fell, Neji flinched and opened his eyes, Naruto on the other hand remained still. Hyuga Hiashi was impressed, *not only did he beat me in battle, but he has out meditated the most focused member of the Hyuga clan.* The 43 year-old man laughed a little when he saw how the blonde was ‘meditation,’ and everyone else was blushing or covering their eyes (especially Hinata.) Naruto had a rather large bulge growing inside of his pants; he was meditating about Hinata, in the best ways possible. “Uzumaki Naruto, you are something else,” Hiashi giggled a bit; it was an unorthodox, but rather effective way of meditation. Hinata’s face was the reddest it had ever been in her life, she did not need her cousin, father, sister, or Ten-Ten seeing what his ‘ultimate weapon’ was; she fainted.

A few hours had passed, and Hinata was in her old room, with Naruto sitting next to her on the bed. “How are you feeling?” He asked, kissing her forehead. “Much better,” Hinata said, pausing for a second, “….Except that my entire family now knows you’re DICK IS FUCKING HUGE!!!” Hinata and Naruto blushed a lot after that, both looking very embarrassed from what had happened earlier. Naruto giggled a little, “Well, at least I won, right?” Hinata reluctantly nodded, knowing he was 100% right. He kissed her softly and they both stood up, Naruto got onto his knees and put his ear onto her belly, listening to their child. Hinata ran her hands through his hair, and she smiled, “do you think our child is going to be like me or you?” she asked, and Naruto thought for a minute. “Well,” he said, “they’ll probably have my hair and Jutsu abilities, and your eyes, looks, and heart.” She smiled, hearing those words come from him were more then anything she thought she deserved. Naruto got up and took her hand, and they walked out of the room and back for home.

Ino made a large amount of Teriyaki Pork for dinner, and everyone wolfed it down happily. Sakura started giggling, “So, he was ‘meditating,’ huh?” Naruto and Hinata started to blush, which caused the 2 girls to laugh hysterically. They were still really embarrassed about what had happened earlier that day; the entire Hyuga family now knew how ‘large’ Naruto was. Ino giggled a little, “Well, at least it wasn’t nearly as embarrassing as how Sakura and I started going out,” and her pink haired mate blushed. After they finished off the pork, Naruto got on his knees in front of Hinata, smiling brightly as he pulled out a small box. “You know, I think I need to do this properly now,” he grinned, opening the box in front of her; inside was a small diamond ring, a perfect fit for a woman. “Hyuga Hinata, you have made me the happiest man alive. We’ve been through so much, right off the bat even. We’ve pushed each other, driven ourselves to whole new levels just because of our love. Hina-chan, will you marry me?” Hinata was in tears after that, she didn’t know what to say; that was poetic, moving, powerful, and it came from the greatest man she had ever known. All she was capable of doing was nodding, extending her left hand, and Naruto put the ring on her finger. Hinata wrapped her arms around her neck and kissed him deeply, and the 2 girls just laughed and clapped, happy to see their friends in that sort of mood. They hugged each other for a long time, hoping that the moment would last forever.
