Haku nodded and then looked at him. “I’m sorry but I’ve been ordered by my master to kill the old man. Please forgive me.” She looked at him and Naruto felt a small sliver of something that almost felt like pity slide through his heart before he had to evade a barrage of ice needles. He looked at Haku and then said; “Why are we fighting? Why don’t you go and kill someone else or just kill your boss to get your money. I saw a man wearing sunglasses and a huge group of men heading this way so there’s some way to make money. I can also pay you with what little money I have on me. Just let this mission be aborted by you and Zabuza.”

The maturity of his words hit her somewhere in her heart as she remembered that he’d do anything for his precious persons to live their life without strife. She was conflicted with this and halted her barrage. This was something of a dilemma to her. She didn’t know whether she should just obey Zabuza-sama or just go with what her heart was telling her. Zabuza-sama had saved her but this boy had managed to inspire her in so many ways. She could feel her heart beginning to beat faster and faster and her breath was coming out of her mouth faster as she stood within the mirror, watching everything that happened like it was in slow-motion. She looked at her sensei and master and then saw that he was still locked in combat with Kakashi.

She made an ice mirror appear next to Zabuza and she stepped out of it and said; “Zabuza-sama there is a large force of Shinobi headed our way, our client is with them too. According to Naruto-kun they are either here to bring us support or maybe as some sort of measure that the target gets eliminated. I would like to ask of you to stop fighting. Please Zabuza-sama consider waiting to see what the client is up to. I have never heard of people who had survived working under that man so please, I beg of you.” She looked so sincere in her words that both fighters stopped fighting and Kakahsi was looking at her and then put back his Hitai-ate and said:

“Zabuza, you are too weak to fight anymore. Let me handle this. If this is really a threat to my and my team’s survival then I must be prepared for anything. And I don’t think that you should move too much with your arm…” Kakashi pointed at the arm which had two kunai embedded within it and Zabuza just grinned and said: “I can take you on pretty good with this. If only Haku hadn’t asked me to stop and see what old Gatou is up to then we would still be fighting.”
