Chapter 13
A.N. So, here is chapter 13… courtesy of HellBent and myself. He put a lot of work into it so if you enjoy it let him know.

Chapter 13

Kakashi quickly surveyed the area around the team. He pulled up his hitai-ate exposing his Sharingan eye. They moved one at a time. Kakashi went first, then Shino, Shikamaru, Kiba, and finally Akamaru. Kakashi looked over his shoulder, “Ok, it appears that there are no traps in the immediate area, but I want everyone to put their earpieces in. If we get separated we need to be able to communicate.” Akamaru let out a low growl.
“Akamaru says he senses a presence up ahead. Someone strong.” Kiba said, addressing the team.
“Then everyone get ready. We aren’t going to waste any time. If we encounter resistance we will finish them quickly and move on.” Kakashi replied. As the team moved ahead the corridor sloped downward deeper into the earth. After several paces it leveled out and made a sharp turn to the right. A few yards ahead the passage opened up into a huge cavernous area about the size of a football field. The ceiling looked as if it was about a quarter-mile high. Here and there stalagmites actually stretched all the way down to the floor forming a crude type of large column.
The huge form of Akamaru jumped over the team and landed in front of Kakashi, his hair beginning to stand up on end. He bared his large fangs and let out a deep growl. Kiba quickly moved to stand next to Akamaru. Kakashi knew this reaction from his personal experiences with his own pack. “Come out, we know you’re there.” Kakashi’s voice carried through the giant space, echoing off the cavern walls.
A man walked out from behind one of the columns about fifty yards away from the team. This man was large. Quite possibly the largest man any of them had ever seen. It looked as if his body was chiseled from the very stone around them. He did not appear to have an ounce of fat on him. He stood about 7’2” with long, flowing, dark brown hair. He was wearing loose silk pants for easy movement. His vest was open, revealing a strong chest and washboard abs. His skin was darkly tanned and his shoulders were so broad that it appeared his vest wasn’t left open for comfort, but due to the fact that it probably couldn’t be zipped. Hs hitai-ate showed that he was from the Hidden Village of Stone. It had a single deep scratch through the symbol – a missing-nin. He advanced about 10 steps forward, and without saying a word quickly formed 5 seals. Kakashi’s eyes widened with acknowledgement of the jutsu, but before he could even open his mouth to warn his team, the massive mountain of a man slammed his fist into the ground. The entire cave shook with the force of his fist. The ground beneath their feet started to shift before it quickly shot upward. “MOVE!!!” Kakashi yelled.
Shino, Akamaru, and Kiba quickly jumped forward, barely avoiding the massive wave of rock, but Shikamaru stumbled and fell due to the violent motion. Kakashi jumped backward and caught him. He used his momentum to propel them further backward and they jumped off of the moving rock, barely avoiding the collision with the cavern ceiling. Kakashi and Shikamaru utilized the falling rubble from the ceiling and jumped from falling boulder to boulder until they safely landed on the ground.
Kiba looked back to see the results of the jutsu. His eyes widened in amazement; the entire cave had been shut off! A huge wall of stone stretched the entire width of the cave. Separating Kiba, Shino, and Akamaru from the rest of the team.
Kakashi adjusted his earpiece, nearly dislodged from the fall. “Is everyone ok?”
“We’re ok.” Shino answered. “We just barely missed getting crushed, but we made it.”
“Good.” Kakashi spoke back. “But be careful. This is a going to be a tough one. The amount of chakra it takes to perform that jutsu is extremely high, and something tells me he’s not burned out quite yet. We will try to find a way through. Be careful.”
Shino touched Kiba on the shoulder to get his attention. Kiba looked back to see the huge ninja slowly walking towards them. Shino began releasing his kikai from around his ankles to avoid drawing attention to them. Without wasting any time, Kiba jumped on top of Akamaru and quickly formed some seals, “Half-Beast Clone, Beast Mimicry!” A large puff of smoke surrounded the two figures. Two very wild-looking Kibas emerged and moved quickly on all fours to the left and right, separating from each other. They both let out a deep, savage, growl.
The large ninja chuckled, and in a deep voice stated, “This should be fun. I was afraid that none of you would make it out of that jutsu alive, and then I wouldn’t be able to have any fun. But this is much better. Once I finish you two off, I’ll take pleasure in getting rid of the other two as well.” Kiba roared back in a guttural voice, “You won’t get the chance to even look at another person, much less finish anyone off!”
Before anyone could even make a move, the massive shinobi clasped his hands together and slammed them into the ground with a double axe-handle attack. It caused a large wave of earth to rip forward up the cave towards the trio. The wave knocked Shino off his feet and caused Kiba and his clone to stumble. Without wasting any time, the massive ninja flashed forward about 20 yards to close the distance and formed three seals. He then placed his hands on the ground and a dome of earth formed over the trio, closing them in.
The massive ninja laughed loudly, “Hah hah hah, aaah hahaha. You mean to tell me that this is all you’ve got? This is truly pathetic! I thought you two were going to be the last thing I ever saw!? Hn, I will drain you of everything. You will die a slow, painful death… and just so you know the name of the last person you’ll see in this life, my name is Saisekijo.”
Shino got up to his feet and dusted himself off. The Kibas rose up on all fours. One of them looked up at Shino, “Just like old times, hahaha.” Shino smirked down at Kiba, “Yes, but this time it’s not going to be anything like that time.”
Suddenly, Saisekijo looked down and saw a swarm of insects all around his feet. They started to slowly move up his legs, biting, chewing, eating away at his chakra, “What the fuck!?” Before the Sound-nin could react, “GAATTSUUUUGAAAA!!!!!” Two spinning shapes came blasting out of the earthen dome, hitting Saisekijo right in the face. He was knocked back a great distance before finally smashing through a large earthen column, hitting the ground and rolling backward before finally landing on his face and stopping. Saisekijo slowly, shakily pushed himself up and stood again. He wiped the blood from his mouth and started to laugh.
“Huh, huh, huh, I guess I’ll get to go all out on you two after all!” He formed six seals in rapid succession. “Hada no ishi jutsu!” His skin began turning to stone, but the two feral Kibas didn’t even hesitate. They both raced towards Saisekijo. One raced to the right while the other sped off to the left. The one that went right started to run up the wall on all fours, and he seemed to pick up even more speed. He leapt from high on the wall, and then used one of the earthen columns to push himself downward even harder towards Saisekijo. The one that went left very swiftly zigzagged his way up the cavern towards the stone-nin, keeping low to the ground. Shino jumped out of the earthen dome and started to run straight towards the Stone-nin. Kiba flew downward and made a hard slash attack to Saisekijo’s face. He caught Kiba by the wrist and used his momentum to slam the dog lover hard into a column forcing his body completely through it.
The beastly Kiba clone tackled Saisekijo, hitting him hard in the stomach, causing him to take a single step back, but nothing more. Saisekijo slammed his gigantic fist into the clone, hitting him in the back, forcing him to collapse to the ground. Shino, finally catching up to the action, jumped into the air and squarely planted his feet in Saisekijo’s face and pushed off hard. The force caused the giant to stumble backward a few steps. While his body was still being propelled upward, Shino extended his arm and released another large swarm of Kikai into the enemy’s face. The Stone-nin quickly tried to wipe the swarm out of his face, but they just seemed to spread to his hand and continued to cloud his vision. He used his other hand to wipe the bugs from his eyes and let out a cry of frustration.
“GRRRAAAAHHHH, I’LL BREAK YOU IN HALF!!!” With that he sprinted forward and threw a massive right hook to Shino’s head. Shino deftly ducked the attack and gave three quick punches to the brute’s ribs. Saisekijo didn’t seem to be fazed at all. Instead he threw a hard roundhouse kick at Shino’s stomach. Shino did a somersault backwards and barely dodged the attack. Suddenly, Kiba smashed into Saisekijo’s back, “Gatsuuga!” He was knocked forward, but didn’t miss a beat as he grabbed Shino by the neck. Shino kneed the Stone-nin in the groin and then started to knee him in the ribs over and over, but to no avail. He lifted Shino high above his head. Kiba rushed forward and slashed hard into Saisekijo’s side, leaving deep gashes across the Stone ninja’s ribs. He winced, but didn’t stop at all. He brought Shino down hard across his knee, easily breaking his back. Kiba screamed out, “NOOOOOO!!!” Kiba jumped back to his doppelganger and started howling and raging, letting out noises no man could make. Kiba’s clone burst into smoke and changed back to the massive form of Akamaru. Saisekijo howled with laughter, “Bwuaahahaha!! Why are you crying? Was he your lover? Awe. I’m sorry, I so hate to destroy two lovers, but I do so hate queers! Aaahahahaa!”
Suddenly Shino’s midsection darkened and kikai started to poor out of him. They spread until Shino didn’t exist at all, but in his place was thousands of kikai bugs that quickly started to swarm Saisekijo.
Akamaru bounded forward and jumped, kicking Saisekijo in the back of the head, causing him to stumble forward. He then jumped to the side and rushed forward again and circled to the front of the ninja, staying just out of his reach. Kiba shouted, “Akamaru, aerial marking jutsu!” This time, Akamaru leapt high into the air and pissed a large blast of urine into his face. The piss made a loud hissing sound and started to eat away at the rocky form that was Saisekijo’s face. He howled out in pain and anger, “AAAAHHH!! YOU FUCKING BASTARDS!!!” Akamaru landed next to Kiba as he let out a laugh, “Aaaahahahaa!! Even if you are somehow able to defeat us, you will still have to live the rest of your life knowing that my Akamaru pissed in your face!! Bwuaahahaha!!”
Kiba quickly formed five seals and with a loud roar and huge puff of smoke, merged with his canine companion. What emerged from the smoke was an extremely large two-headed dog! The creature was probably about 25ft tall and made Saisekijo look tiny. The massive form of the two-headed Akamaru bounded forward shaking the very earth.
Saisekijo, completely covered in kikai, didn’t even see it coming. The right head of the giant Akamaru bit down hard on him and flung him toward the stone wall the stone-nin had created only minutes before. Akamaru rushed forward, and before Saisekijo could start to descend from the air, they performed the nastiest ‘gatsuuga’ they could muster. They drilled deep into the wall, blasting clear through to he other end. Saisekijo landed limply towards the front of the cavern, causing the rubble covering the entrance there to shift and cave around him, lodging him under several tons of stone. Saisekijo was no more.
Akamaru and Kiba reverted back into their normal forms. Both were panting very heavily. Kiba doubled over and tried to catch his breath. Shino appeared behind him and put his hand on his shoulder, “Good job Kiba.” He looked over his shoulder at Shino. “Well, I’m pretty damn sure I wouldn’t have been able to do it without you. That guy was a monster! I’ve never seen a man that large in my life, and I don’t think I’ve ever been hit that hard.”
Shino replied, “Yeah, glad that one’s over, but I’m afraid he was probably one of the weaker ones.”
“Oh damn it, don’t remind me!” Kiba complained loudly.
Kakashi and Shikamaru stepped over the rubble and through the hole made by the giant shinobi. “Are you two all right?” Kakashi asked. “Sorry that we couldn’t break through in time to help. But it looks like you managed pretty well, considering.” Kiba and Shino nodded, slightly weary. “Alright then, let’s catch our breath and move on. Sakura is waiting.” Kiba and Shino agreed. “Right.”
‘Hang on a little longer, Sakura… we’re coming…’
