A bond thicker than blood

well here i am again with another update tonight, hope you enjoy.

oh yeah forgot i should probably disclaim that i dont own anything relating to Harry Potter, even thoug i just mentioned his name, so here goes i dont own Harry Potter. hehe

Chapter 13

After class they’d agreed to meet Sakura, Lee and the rest for lunch. After their little private display of their affection for each other, they had only smiled at each other. During class they sat leaning against each others shoulder, stealing looks and smiling.
Kakashi must have noticed because he was given them some angry looks as they were more interested in paying attention to each other and not the lesson. Whenever they got a look from him they would look at each other and would laugh to themselves silently.

“Naruto! Sasuke! Over here” Sakura stood up from her chair waving at them as they entered the cafeteria. Naruto waved back at her and headed towards the table with Sasuke walking right behind him.
They walked through a maze of people before they reached the table, “geez so crowded” Naruto stated as they reached the table, Sakura just smiled pointing at the two chairs next to each other which she had saved for them.
Also around the table sat Hinata, Shikamaru, Choji, Kiba and Neji, realising that Sasuke only knew Lee, Kiba and Sakura he began to introduce the others.
“Ah sorry forgot, Sasuke this is Nara Shikamaru” the blond boy pointed at the brown haired boy which had his hair up in a ponytail which left the short hair sticking out like a broom. Sasuke nodded to the boy and smiled “this is Akimichi Choji” Naruto continued referring to the chubby boy eating a bag of chips, again Sasuke smiled.
“And this is Hyūga Hinata” he pointed at the black haired girl sitting next to Choji, “h-hi” she said shyly and smiled. “And the last person here is Hyūga Neji” the blond pointed at the black long haired boy sitting next to him, Sasuke nodded and smiled. Naruto sat back down in between Sasuke and Neji, he began talking to Kiba who was sitting next to Hinata, and this was the first time he had seen him socialising.
Suddenly he felt a hard glare coming from his right side, when he turned his head in the same direction his eyes met the long black haired boy Neji. What was his problem?

Sasuke enjoyed himself in the company of the group with the exception of the long black haired boy Neji. After they had been sitting around the table eating their lunch Sasuke had moved his foot so it was entangled with Naruto’s, of course staying true to his word telling Naruto in advance.
“Hi everyone!” they all turned to see Ino walking toward the table, as she saw Sasuke sitting at the table her pace picked up. “Sasuke-kuuun” she half screamed and tossed herself around his neck, Sasuke was more or less shocked and not liking the sudden extra weight of a screaming girl.
“I heard the rumours that you were here but didn’t know if it was true or not” she smiled looking at him still holding her arms around his neck, much to his own annoyance as well as Naruto’s.
However Naruto didn’t take it as seriously as Sasuke. “Hi Ino” Sasuke said in a cold voice, taking a grip around both her arms pulling her away from him. Ino’s facial expression changed to a disappointed look.
She turned around looking for a free chair and when she found one she squeezed it in between Sasuke and Lee, leaning a little to Sasuke’s side as she began explaining why she had been late. Sakura gave both Sasuke and Naruto an apologising look; Naruto looked a little confused had she already figured out that Sasuke and he were a little more than just friends.

Around 13.45 Lee, Kiba and Naruto had to leave as they had to get to their sports class which began at 2 pm. Sasuke had said that he would hang around with Sakura and Choji at the library reading a couple of sources for history and Naruto told him he would come and find them after he was done.
He was sure Lee would be meeting Sakura seeing as they really couldn’t spend more than an hour apart. Hinata had to get to her English class and Ino had to get to her social studies class, she was reluctant to leave Sasuke’s side since she had just gotten there.
“Ne Sasuke-kun, want to go and see a movie tonight? They’re showing the new Harry Potter movie.” She asked him before they all had to split up; she was going to grab any opportunity she could to get a date with Sasuke now that Sakura her rival in love had given up.
If she could get Sasuke to go to the cinema with her she could pretend she had put her arm down on his by accident seeing as it was too dark to see and they would share a popcorn bag so that their hands could bump in to each other. And when they did she would smile and look in to his eyes making the cutes face, putting him completely under the Ino love spell. Inside she was grinning and rubbing her hands together for a well formed plan.
Sakura only rolled her eyes before giving Lee his goodbye kiss knowing Ino had no chance in hell even if it were to freeze over. “Sorry Ino I have some plans later today” the dark haired boy lied, well he didn’t really lie. He was planning to hang with Naruto; he just hadn’t asked him yet.
Ino kept smiling “oh okay well maybe next time then?” inside Ino’s head an image of a balloon filled with her brilliant plan was shot and it was deflating as it moved around with a high speed. “Sure, I’ll let you know” Sasuke said waving to them heading to the library with Sakura and Choji.

Neji who needed to head to his history tutorial walked in the same direction as Naruto and the guy’s, he walked next to Naruto watching him as he talked to Kiba and Lee.
He seemed more relaxed and happier than he had the Sunday they had spent at the cinema with the others, much to his relief. However he wanted to know who or what had made him happier and he hoped to god it wasn’t that self-centred Uchiha.
He had noticed him in the introduction class; he was sitting at the front looking all high and mighty, hardly speaking to any of the girls and not to mention some of the boys drooling over him except for a yes and no. that’s when it hit Neji, as if he had received a slap in the face, he was jealous of Uchiha Sasuke. Not because he received attention from everybody because of his good looks but because Naruto gave him a smile he didn’t give any one else, it might look like a normal smile bit Neji could tell it was different and he craved that smile for himself more than anything.

“Hey Naruto, you wanna come over to my room tonight and watch a movie or something?” he suddenly blurred out not realising he had said it before the last word had left his mouth.
Naruto took a pause from his conversation with Lee and Kiba realising Neji really wasn’t part of the conversation, “Oh that would be cool but I got some plans to do some studying, I got some catching up to do after I was ill for a week last week” the blond boy said smiling at him “maybe next time. Ne?”
Neji nodded and pointed down a corridor telling the boys that this was his stop, they told him that they would see him tomorrow and waved as the 3 boys continued down the corridor.
Unknown to Naruto Neji watched him disappear around the corner before he sighed and headed down the corridor to his tutorial room.
