Chapter: 13: Strange behavior?

Sasuke was almost glowing with happiness after his return to The Sound.

No one had noticed that he had been away but every being in Oto-Gakure had unmistakably noticed the blonde Sarah’s arrival and her impact on their usually emotionless leader.

The raven-haired Kage was smiling at almost everyone as they past his way, which he normally never did. He talked with his staff and subordinates and was very patient and forgiving. Yes, the young Sarah was definitely doing something to their leader and it made everyone gossip.

Almost six weeks had past since Kira and Sarah had entered the village and everyone was busy with the preparations for the upcoming festivities… It was the 22 of July and the Otokage´s twentieth birthday would be tomorrow.

The city was buzzing with life as many travelers from the other hidden villages were coming to attend to Sasuke´s birthday. All were anxious to see if the rumors were true; was the young Otokage in love? And who was the mysterious girl who could make the Kage´s frozen heart melt?

Sasuke was humming a joyful tune as he left his office for the day and made his way to his floor, smiling softly at a group of young shinobi he passed on his way. They returned the smile and bowed to him, staring after him as he left. They proceeded to gossip about how their leader was probably on his way to his girl because of his happy face.

He was indeed on his way to his lover. Not his girl but his one and only Dobe… the man of his deepest dreams.

Sasuke didn’t care about the party, festivities and official duties that came along because of his birthday… All he wanted was to swipe Naruto off his feet and claim his soft kissable lips before ravishing him. The Uchiha smirked at the thoughts that were building in his mind.

But he knew that Gaara and his family would be here in a few hours. The blonde had insisted on inviting him and his siblings even though it was rather unusual that one Kage would be attending the birthdays of other Kages… even if it were a twentieth birthday. Besides that, Gaara didn’t like Sasuke and it was the same the other way around… Then there was the matter of Naruto being the ex of the red-head, which wasn’t helping.

Sasuke growled at the thought of Gaara in his house… near his Dobe. He shook his head to let go of the urge to kick the Kazekage’s butt. Instead he decided that the blonde would have to make it up to him by letting Sasuke molest him at least twice before the royals from Suna arrived.

A few weeks had past since Naruto had arrived at The Sound in disguise as the slightly shy and softly curved Sarah. He was living together with Sasuke and the blonde was happy.

It was kinda troublesome that he still had to use the ´sexy no jutsu´ when he went outside of the raven-heads apartment (well during daytime that was) ´. He was still a missing-nin and The Sound was roaming with Konoha Anbu and travelers from every where, especially now because of Sasuke´s upcoming birthday.

Naruto hadn’t heard anything from the demon fox inside of him since that night as he had slept with his lover as a female. This bothered him a bit since the Kitsune was always complaining when he spent too much time inside.

He never left the private floor of the Otokage tower unless he was using the sexy no jutsu and Kira was his bodyguard. To his, Naruto had stated that he didn’t need a babysitter (Sasuke had insisted upon it, though).

Naruto had used the babysitting part to convinced Sasuke that Gaara could be a helpful ally in convincing Tsunade-sama that Naruto belonged in the Sound. And so it happened that the Gaara and his siblings got invited to the Uchiha heir’s birthday.

Gaara had already announced his arrival along with Kankurou and Temari for later that day. Naruto was a bit anxious to see his (almost) lover again.

Sasuke and Naruto had come to the conclusion that it would be best if it was only Naruto who met up with Gaara at first. This was in order to prepare the Sand leader about the news that Naruto was living together with Sasuke and sharing his bed.

Naruto jumped in his chair as someone blew a breath on his ear.

“Hi Sunshine.” The Uchiha almost purred into his lover’s golden locks.

“Sasuke? You’re home early,” the blonde said in surprise.

“Yup, I just had to see you, my love… missed you.” He smirked as the blonde used the term ´home´. It made the Uchiha happy to know that his lover was beginning to feel at home with him. He softly dragged Naruto to his feet and pressed his aroused body against the blonde’s.

“I want you!” he whispered as he licked his lover’s tanned neck, leaving a wet trail as he moved upwards along the jaw line before claiming his lips.

“Now?” The blonde chipped as he tried to keep his distance from his lover. “But Gaara and…”

“Not now!” Sasuke´s hands groped Naruto´s firm ass as he began to nibble at his lover’s earlobe hungrily. “Sex now… guest and former rivals later!” Sasuke rubbed his hips against Naruto´s, his hard erection pressed against the younger blonde’s groin.

“Huh? What is wrong?” The raven-haired male referred to his lover’s lacking hardness.

“Sorry… I´m just not in the mood right now!” Naruto blushed in embarrassment.

“Is there a reason for this?” Sasuke asked with suspicion, wondering if the blonde excavation with Kira earlier today was the reason. She had the habit of feeding his Dobe with sweets and ramen ´till he was so full that he lost his appetite for love making. Sasuke was certain that she did it on purpose to keep them apart.

“No... And don´t go mental on Kira again, she didn’t buy me ramen or anything else today!”

“And why not?” Sasuke wasn’t convinced that the blonde was telling the truth. He was probably just trying to keep his new friend out of trouble.

“Wasn’t hungry.” Sasuke´s eyes widened at the Dobe´s statement. Naruto was always hungry. Always.

“Sure…” the raven-haired Kage purred, not willing to start a fight if he could try to convince the blonde to sleep with him instead. “Then let me play with you, my sweetie.” He used his deepest and sexiest voice, trying to catch the blonde in his embrace.

“No… maybe late… I really don´t feel like it right now!” The blonde shoved his lover away who just stared at him with a slightly pouty expression on his face.

Sasuke wasn’t satisfied with the Dobe´s explanation and decided just to ravish the blonde anyway, but someone knocked on their front door first.

“Sasuke-sama, Naruto-sama?”

“Damn… YES, KIRA!?” the Uchiha yelled angrily at his subject.

“Sorry for my intrusion but the guests from Suna-Gakure have just arrived and are requesting to see Naruto-sama… What shall I tell them?” She seemed to be used to her masters harsh replies.

“I’ll be right there, Kira-chan!” The blonde sounded relived and rushed past his lover to meet up with Kira.

“Remember to use the jutsu, Naru-kun!” The girl softly slapped the grinning blonde’s head for forgetting his disguise.

“Gomen, Ki-chan!” He formed the seals and transformed into his female self, leaving with Kira to meet up with the royal family of Suna.

Sasuke was left in the apartment by himself. He crossed his arms over his chest and drew in a deep breath.

What the hell was going on with his dobe? Naruto had never pushed him away before… He craved for Sasuke´s touch just as much as the Uchiha yearned for the blonde’s caresses.

Was Kira at fault here…? Was she secretly seducing Naruto…? No she wouldn’t dare… or would she? They were already close friends… calling each other by nicknames while the blonde still only called him ´Sasuke´ or ´Teme´.

The dark-eyed Kage fumed with anger and jealousy. No, the dobe wouldn’t betray him, of that he was sure. He couldn’t help but imagine the two blondes together in a heated embrace, though.

No, there had to be something else going on…. Perhaps it was some kind of stupid effort to throw him a surprise party… Yes, that had to be it. That would be a likely explanation… wouldn’t it?

“Gaara!” The blonde embraced the startled red-head as he rushed through the door.

“Hello Naruto-san… It´s been too long.” The Kazekage hugged his former lover tightly, breathing in the scent he had missed so badly.

“Hi Naruto,” Kankurou and Temari gave him a wave and a grin as they were sure that the blonde was going to stay in their brothers arms for a very long hug.

"Hi guys… Oi Gaara, you can let go of me now,” the blonde grinned.

“You look a bit pale… are you alright?” Gaara asked with worry. He just couldn’t help but be emotional around the blonde he loved so dearly.

“Yeah, I´m just coming down with the flu or something like that… nothing to worry about.”

Gaara stared at him in disbelief. He had never heard about the blonde ever having any kind of illness. Like himself, the demon inside of them would prevent them from getting sick.

“So why did you invite us?” Kankurou asked as he gave the blonde a friendly pat on his shoulder.

“Yeah I don´t think you merely asked us to come to celebrate the Kage´s birthday with you!” Temari leaned against the wall, he arms crossed. She was not found of the Uchiha either, since she, as well as her brother, knew that Gaara was in love with Naruto.

“Well, no…You see It´s because I need your help with this little problem I have with Tsunade-sama and Konoha,” the blonde began.

“I see…” Gaara leaned back in his chair and gave Naruto a troubled look. “You want me to put some pressure on the Hokage… To be your and Uchiha´s ally to pressure her to let you have a somewhat normal life here in The Sound. Right?”

“You got it!” the blonde said with a serious tone.

“I’ll have to give it some thought, Naruto-kun. To threaten one ally to help another could have series consequences for my people… Give me until tomorrow and I’ll let you know.” Gaara rose from his chair, hugged the blonde briefly and left the room together with his siblings.

´But tomorrow is Sasuke´s birthday and I have a party to attend to! ´ The blonde thought.

Naruto muttered to himself the whole way back to Sasuke´s private floor and their roomy common apartment. He entered the living room, dispelled his jutsu and let himself fall onto the black leather couch with a load sigh.

“How did it go?” Sasuke´s voice from the bedroom door startled him.

“Oi Sasuke… you’re still up?”

“Hnnn, so what about it?”

“It was okay, I guess. Gaara wanted to think it through. Guess being a Kage means he has to consider a lot of facts before acting on a request, eh?” Naruto yawned and tried to get comfortable even though he felt a bit queasy, like he had been stuffing himself with ramen though he hadn’t eaten for hours… Strange!

“Hnnn.” Sasuke was suddenly standing in front of him. Damn he’s fast, the blonde thought.

Sasuke knelt on the seat next to him and leaned in for a soft kiss.

“Missed you, sunshine,” he purred seductively while caressing the blonde’s neck with his hands.

“…. So tired, Sasuke,” the fox-boy yawned and softly pushed his pale lover away.

“Tired? “ Black eyebrows rose as he was being rejected again. “Come on… I’ll make you feel better, my lovely kitten.”

“Tomorrow!” The blonde freed himself from his lover’s grip and went to bed to sleep. Sasuke pouted as Naruto turned his back on him (Uchiha´s never pouts when someone looks their way!) He growled inwardly as he realized that he would have to take care of his arousal by himself again… the second time today!

He twaddles off to the bathroom to take a cold shower before going to bed… to sleep! The blonde was surely acting strange that day. Hopefully he would be feeling better in the morning… The Uchiha was already looking forward to begin his birthday with the blonde’s willing body as his first present.
