Remember

"I don't want to remember the pain I saw in family's eye's that day."

Neji made his way into the Hyuga compound carrying an unconscious Hinata. Even though he hated the compound he knew it was the best place to take her for help. Showing signs of illness in the Hyuga Clan only showed weakness.

Making his way towards the Main Branch's wing, Neji bowed his head giving his respects. Even though there was no one around, Neji knew it would be best to keep himself from having any questions arise. Walking along the long dark corriode Neji sighed, with no one insight it made it alot easier. "We're almost there, Hinata-sama," Neji tried to speak in a comforting tone.

Sweat drops started to make paths down her cheeks, "The fever must be getting higher..." Although he had become very familar with patching up wounds, he knew little next to nothing about medical ninjitsu.

Picking up the pace, Neji rushed Hinata to her room at the far end of the hallway. Pushing the door to the side with his foot, Neji walked into her room for the first time in over twelve years. Giving the room a once over, Neji made his way over to her futon in the middle of the room. Placing her down gently, he held her head in his hand, before moving the pillow.

"I'm going to have to leave you for a few moments, but I promise I will be back with help," Neji whispered draping the comforter over Hinata's shivering body. Turning on his heels he made his way towards her open door, "I will be back soon."

Making her way towards the hot spring bath Hanabi could see a blur running in the distance. Stepping towards the edge of the porch, she actived her Byakugan. "Byakugan!"

Suddenly she realized the figure with dark hair making its way towards the exit of the compound was her cousin. "Neji!" dropping her bath bucket, Hanabi ran towards him. "Neji where in the hell have you been and where is HINATA!" she screamed trying to catch up to her cousin who was almost to the exit.

"Hanabi-sama...." Neji groaned, knowing that trouble was only to come. Halting in one step Neji bowed his head to his superior.

"Neji, where's my....what happened to your face," Hanabi questioned as she looked at Neji's face. Releasing her Byakugan, she could see his clothes were covered with dirt and the bruise on his face had started to darken. "Did Hinata do that to you?"

Not wanting to start another battle Neji lifted his head, "No it wasn't Hinata-sama." Neji words left his lips in a puff of smoke. "And Hinata is in her room, she has fallen ill and I need to get her help."

"If you're lying to me, I will make sure you will recieve punishment, mark my words..." Hanabi said griping her robe with her free hand. "Is is she in her room?"

"Yes, Hanabi-sama," Neji answered swiftly bowing his head once more.

Hanabi gave Neji another glaring look before turning her back to him. "I will go to her, you better get to the hospital right away. There must not be a word about this to anyone. Father is sick and the whole village knows, but there is no reason to bring up our new Heiress being ill," Hanabi shook her head. "Weakness can no longer be tolerated."
