Hard Love Life

It was hours later that Hidan came back, smelling of sex and alcohol. With a shaky sigh he sat down in a chair in the living room.

Kakuzu began to look around the base when he heard feet walking around. Coming into the living room, he saw Hidan and smelt him. "So, you actually cheated on me?" He tried to hide a hurt look on his face, covering it up with a stoic expression.

"You're the one who said I needed someone else to service me. So that's what I did. I wasn't risking having sex with a woman. Not that I could." Hidan sniffed, preparing to lie about what had happened, "I had to drink a lot to actual have the guts to do it."

Kakuzu gave Hidan a pained look. "I.I didn't think you'd actually do it." He looked away before sighing. "I think… I think it'd be best if we ... I'm going to move my things into my office, you can share a room with the girls."

"It's your fault." Hidan said, standing up, "You didn't stop me."

Kakuzu looked away from Hidan and began towards the exit. "Look, I didn't actually think you'd do it. I didn't think you'd actually cheat on me." He exited and slammed the door, planning on getting shitfaced before ever coming back to the base.

Hidan ripped off his rosary and followed Kakuzu. "Wait! You don't need to go. I'll leave." he shoved the necklace into Kakuzu's hand, "I don't need it."

Kakuzu looked at the rosary in his hand. "Why should you go? You're not the one who told you to go sleep with someone." He looked at Hidan with distressed eyes. "Someone needs to stay with Acheron and Seiun."

"I'll go... ." Hidan said again, "You stay with them. If you did leave they'd have no one tomorrow. I'm leaving Jashin. I'll be dead."

Kakuzu grabbed on tightly onto Hidan's wrist, looking at Hidan. "Why'd… Why’d' you actually do it? You were supposed to only be with me. No one else. You said you loved me. Why?" Right now, he had to get answers; he would deal with the fact that Hidan was going to kill himself later.

"Like you said. I'm selfish." Hidan said, "I wanted you, but I couldn't get you. You said I had to go and find someone, so I thought you would be okay with it." Hidan looked at Kakuzu sadly. "You really are the best at sex."

Kakuzu glared at Hidan. "Why would I be okay with you cheating on me?! How would you feel if I went out and slept with someone just because you 'said it was okay'?! It would hurt, wouldn't it?!" He spat at Hidan's feet. "I would hit you but you're not worth it." He shook his head. "I can't even believe I slept with someone like you." Kakuzu grabbed Hidan's hair and pulled on it roughly. "Well, gee, isn't that wonderful. I'm glad you fucking know what it's like to sleep with other people. You know, that makes me feel real happy that I'm the best at sex after my lover just cheated on me. You're a filthy whore, and this time I actually mean it."

"If you want... You can be the one who kills me." Hidan said, "Will that make you happy?"

"Why would I bring you to the pleasure of your death. It's too good for you." Kakuzu tried to keep glaring, but he could feel faint tears pricking the back of his eyes.

"I see... I really did love you Kakuzu. I'm just young and stupid. I don't know what a relationship is like. I don't even know what cheating is. This it the problem with virgins isn't it?" Hidan started crying, "I'm the o-one who doesn't deserve your love. I'm so sorry for hurting you. I'll leave now. I love you." Hidan tried to leave but Kakuzu didn't let go of his wrist. "What?"

Kakuzu nodded. "Yea, that's the problem with virgins." He looked away from Hidan and let a few tears fall from his eyes. "You don't know how much it hurts Hidan. You don't know how much it hurts."

"I do. That's why I'm killing myself. I can't live with it." Hidan tried to pull away again, but Kakuzu still didn't let go, "Let me go. You want me to die don't you?"

Kakuzu pulled Hidan into a tight embrace. "Don't leave me again. You're not allowed out of the house when I'm not with you."

"You... Still want me?" Hidan asked, utterly shocked.

Kakuzu nodded slowly. "You'll have to regain my trust but... I think we can still make this work."

"I won't leave you again." Hidan agreed, hugging Kakuzu back, "I need my rosary back."

Kakuzu slipped the rosary over Hidan's head and sighed, looking away, not wanting to look Hidan in the eye anymore.

"Kakuzu?" Hidan pleaded, "Look at me please?" Hidan looked away, sadly. He slowly headed back into the base.

Kakuzu followed Hidan back into the base slowly closing the door behind him, feeling a bit sick now.

"I'll move into another room then." Hidan said, "I don't think you want me. I'll sleep with the girls. I hope one day you can tell me you love me again. I don't think that will happen though."

"We need to work this out like adults. So we can stay in the same room, plus I don't think the girls would want to share a room with their mom." Kakuzu looked at the back of Hidan's head. "I'll love you again someday. But right now I can't get the images of someone else touching you out of my head."

"I'm sorry." Hidan said again, "I'll sleep in my bed then."

Kakuzu sighed. "I want you… To sleep with me. But take a shower first and scrub your skin raw, I'll go crazy if I continue to smell sex on you."

Hidan nodded and dashed to the bathroom, scrubbing his skin until it bled. Hidan returned to their room smelling like roses. "I'm all scrubbed."

Kakuzu looked up from his book when Hidan entered and he pat the bed space next to him.

Hidan slowly went to the bed and sat down next to Kakuzu. "Uh... What are you reading?"

Kakuzu wrapped an arm around Hidan's waist. "A book."

Hidan leaned against Kakuzu. "A book about?"

"Child psychology," Kakuzu murmured, leaning away from Hidan.

"Do you want me next to you or not? You put your arm around my waist." Hidan snapped, "Make up your mind."

Kakuzu glared at Hidan. "Honestly, do you really think you should be getting snappy with me, slut?"

"You put your arm around my waist! You want me to be closer!" Hidan said angrily, "Or are you only allowed to make the first move?"

Kakuzu looked at the wall across from him. "I'm the only one allowed to make any move anymore."

"Well fine." Hidan scooted away from Kakuzu and laid down, facing away from him.

"I don't see why you're being a baby about this, you should be lucky I didn't just dump your ass," Kakuzu growled.

"You only stayed for the girls." Hidan said, running his fingers through his short hair.

Kakuzu nodded. "Whom else would I do this for? You obviously don't love me."

"If I didn't love you I wouldn’t have wanted to die because of the guilt I feel." Hidan moved to his bed, "So much for wanting me to sleep with you still. "

"If you truly loved me, you wouldn't have done it in the first place," Kakuzu snapped.

"I though we agreed that I was a stupid virgin." Hidan snapped back, "You're not making the healing process very easy. Do you want me in bed with you or not?"

"You're not stupid, you're just unfaithful to me." Kakuzu went back to the book. "Fuck your healing process, what about mine?! And I guess you can come back to bed with me.”

"I am stupid. You say it more then anything else. And I meant your healing process." Hidan huffed, "You don't sound convincing."

"Okay so you're stupid AND unfaithful," Kakuzu muttered, patting the bed next to him. "I hope you don't expect things to go back to normal."

"I at least want to be a convenient fuck toy again." Hidan said, not moving from his bed.

"Hm, no. Maybe that person you slept with would love to have sex with you again," Kakuzu glared at Hidan.

"No. They said I was the worst fuck they ever had." Hidan muttered, tossing the blanket over his head.

Kakuzu blinked. "They? More than one, as in you cheated on me with two or more people?"

"The guy got me so drunk He was able to get me into what they called a gangbang." Hidan said stiffly, obviously lying, "To drunk to be able to say no."

Kakuzu didn't even bother to finish listening to what Hidan said before he walked out of the room and soon out of the base and into the forest, taking Hidan's heart out, which he impaled on a tree branch. He walked to the middle of the forest or what it seemed and just sat down; glaring at a tree in the clearing he was in. It was a bad idea to fall in love with someone as attractive at Hidan, now all he wanted to do was kill himself or Hidan.

Hidan grumbled. "If you didn't want to hear it then you shouldn't have kept asking questions, idiot" he began slamming his head into the wall, not stopping until he didn't have the sense to continue, damaging his brain until he was only a blubbering, even dumber, mess.

Kakuzu came back a few hours later, just because he thought that Hidan would of went off and killed himself or something. But he found that Hidan did not, going back to his room to find a beaten Hidan. "What the hell did you do?"

In response Hidan blew a raspberry before falling out of the bed, giggling. He craned his head to look at Kakuzu, smiling.

Kakuzu forced himself to look away. "What did you do to yourself?" He began towards the exit of the room, shaking his head and deciding to come back to Hidan when his brain fully healed.

Hidan wailed as Kakuzu turned to leave, holding his arms out to him while his lower lip quivered. "Kuzu~!"

Kakuzu turned around and glared at Hidan. "You listen me, and you listen to me good I don't care if you're stupider than usual and probably mentally retarded at the moment, I'm going to leave this room and try to make things nice for my daughters over the next three weeks, I do not plan to see you at all until your brain heals, so you can stop giving me that look because I don't care and shut up. No one wants to hear that."

Hidan stood up and wobbled to Kakuzu, grabbing his hand and holding it. "Bye-bye." he let the elder's hand go and wobbled down the hall and left the base, walking by a shocked Konan.

Konan leaned into the room looking at Kakuzu. "What did you do to him?" she asked.

Kakuzu glared at Konan. "He did this to himself, now if you'll excuse me, I have someone to find." He rushed out after Hidan, cursing under his breath.
