Show and Tell

“Neji, stop it!” was all he heard. If he had listened a little closer he would have heard Ten Ten’s sensual giggle that followed, and noticed that she didn’t really want him to ‘stop it’. Ten Ten was lying in the grass on her side.
“Ten Ten! Don’t worry! Here I come!” a most energetic voice called to her. “Dynamic entry!!!” he shouted knocking Neji hard in the shoulder.

“Lee! What the hell did you just do?” Ten Ten shrieked. Lee had not yet noticed that her pants were unbuttoned and she wasn’t wearing any underwear underneath them. Ten Ten, grabbed Neji who was holding his shoulder in pain.

“Lee! What the fuck?” he asked slouching over in Ten Ten’s lap from pain.

“Hyuuga Neji, what were you doing to cause our dear Ten Ten pain!” The over zealous Rock Lee demanded.

“Lee! I’m not in any pain!” Ten Ten was angry.

“Then why did you tell Hyuuga Neji to “stop it” and he clearly didn’t!” Lee asked. Neji finally sat up, the pain had become dull but he knew there would be a mighty bruise there later. It was only then that Lee noticed Ten Ten’s unbuttoned pants. He eyes nearly popped out of his head.

“Ten Ten! What the hell did this bastard do to you!” Hyuuga Neji, I challenge you. I will fight for your honor Ten Ten! Konoha’s green beast shall not allow a teammate to defy another! The flowering lotus of…”

“LEE! SHUT-UP!” Ten Ten cut him off. She didn’t want to hear him rattle on like he so often did. Ten Ten got her pants buttoned back quickly. “Lee, sit down.” Ten Ten motioned for him to take a seat and to stop being overly dramatic. Lee tentatively took a seat beside Ten Ten but kept suspicious eyes on Neji. Ten Ten still had her arm around Neji. “Listen, Neji didn’t do anything to me. We were…um…damn this is hard to say to you.” Ten Ten said the last part under her breath.

“Fooling around, Lee.” Neji finished.

“What! No, this can not be! Hyuuga Neji, you shouldn’t take advantage of a girl when she doesn’t…”

“LEE!!!!” Ten Ten and Neji shouted nearly simultaneously. Lee got instantly quiet. “Sit down…again.” Neji patted the ground. Lee sat back down quickly, but still suspicious.

“Lee, Neji wasn’t taking advantage of me, or pressuring me into anything…I let him, okay. We’re ‘together’ now.” Ten Ten said, trying her best to calm Lee’s spastic nerves.

“You mean like boyfriend and girlfriend, together!?” Lee asked his face lightening up.

“Yes Lee, boyfriend girlfriend.” Neji said. Lee thought a moment.

“Prove it to me!” Lee insisted pointing to Neji. Ten Ten and Neji looked at one another.

“How?” Neji asked Lee.

“Kiss her, but kiss her like you mean it! Not like you’ve got something else in mind!” Lee was emphatic about his request.

“O…k…” Neji looked at Lee peculiarly and pulled Ten Ten’s face into his. He kissed however it was he thought Lee wanted to see. He wasn’t certain what this was proving anyway. He looked at Ten Ten with adoring eyes, and then they both looked at Lee. Lee’s cheeks had turned pink, he was biting his lower lip and tears had swelled up in his big black eyes. Lee jumped to his feet and threw a fist into the air.

“This is truly a wonderful moment among friends!

“Oh god, here he goes…” Ten Ten muttered under her breath towards Neji.

“My two best friends as boyfriend and girlfriend! Konoha’s own Hyuuga prodigy and the kunai goddess! This is a new chapter in our lives together…this is truly the springtime of our youth!” Lee pounced back down on to the ground and wildly threw his arms around Neji and Ten Ten nearly choking both of them. He squeezed them both furiously and wept tears of joy. Lee sometimes had a tendency to get a little worked up. “Neji, I am most sorry for inflicting injury upon you. For this, I shall make it up to you. I’ll make certain Gai Sensei gets you a green leotard just like mine! This way our friendship will mend!” Lee gave Neji thumbs up and his ‘nice guy’ smile.

“Um…that’s…quite alright…Lee. I think the leotard only works for you…and maybe Gai Sensei. We’re still friends…without the leotard thing.” Neji said. Lee swooned.

“Neji! You are so forgiving! You are a true friend!” Lee exclaimed.

“Listen, Lee there’s something else; you can’t tell Gai Sensei about us.” Neji said very seriously.

“Yes, Lee. You have got to keep quiet, you mustn’t say a thing. If Gai Sensei is to find out let him do it on his own.” Ten Ten reinforced. Lee gave a mighty ‘Rock Lee’ salute.

“You have my word as your friend! I will say nothing to Gai Sensei!” Neji and Ten Ten smiled relieved.

“Thank you Lee.” Ten Ten said. Both Neji and Ten Ten stood up. They walked hand in hand with Lee to the spot where they were to meet Gai Sensei. They were preparing for a training mission that would last a few days. Gai was to give them instructions today as to where they were going and what to bring. Once they had arrived at their usual meeting place, it took Gai no time to arrive. He was thrilled, as usual, to see his beloved students eager to begin their training mission. His instructions were quite simple: pack what you need for three days in the woods and be prepared for intense training. Three days in the woods meant two nights in a tent. Two nights in a tent meant the four of them would divide in twos. Dividing in twos meant one guy would be with one girl…
