Chapter 14: Truth
As the dust cleared all three kunoichi saw Kyuubi thrown against the cliff face and Sasuke thrown clear of the field. “Shizune and Sakura you go and look at Kyuubi. I will for Sasuke and take a look at his condition. Make sure you are careful we don’t know what to expect with either of them understand” said Tsunade. All three jumped away and went to look at the person they were to care for.
As Shizune and Sakura approached Kyuubi they noticed his size was smaller than before. He had shrunk in size to a size that is only twice the size as any of the three kunoichi. “N...Naruto are you in there somewhere? If you can speak to me please” said Sakura.
“Sakura I can hear you, but where are you I can not see anything” said Kyuubi in the voice of Naruto and not the inhuman voice of Kyuubi.
“Oh Naruto you knucklehead why do you do things that only end up hurting yourself”
“I’m sorry Sakura I thought you would have been happy to be with Sasuke and that is why I decided to become the Kyuubi that was within, and because I loved you. I…I truly thought you would be happy. I never wanted you to feel regret”.
Sakura began to hug the large fox demon and cried on him. “Sakura, why are you crying?”
“Because you big jerk, I love you. I love you Naruto, I...I didn’t understand my feelings for you until you had become Kyuubi. I thought I was in love with Sasuke, but when you disappeared I fell apart not knowing my true feelings. I understand my feelings now Naruto, I truly do and I want to be with you forever. I hope you can understand, please I want to be yours and nobody else’s”.
“Oh Sakura don’t cry things will work out like they always do”.
“N…Naruto can you hear me also” said Shizune.
“Shizune-sama is that you. Why are you here?”
“I am here because I love you to as well as Tsunade. All three of us love you in different forms. Tsunade loves you like a son and a much younger brother. Sakura loves you as anyone should. I love you because you are my son Naruto”, said Shizune.
Naruto in the form of Kyuubi got up and looked at Shizune square in the eyes in order to see the truth behind those eyes. “If you are my mother Shizune, then who is my father” asked Naruto.
“Your father was and is the fourth Hokage, the one who sealed the demon Kyuubi in his only son to save the village. Yes, Naruto that man was your father”.
Inside Naruto’s mind he could hear the thoughts of Kyuubi ‘Naruto, you have finally discovered the truth about yourself. You have also discovered the ones closest to your heart. Take that knowledge and utilize it to your fullest potential. My time here is close to an end because I can't compete with those three. I will once again submit to my cage, but remember if you need me or my power all you have to do is ask’.
The Kyuubi form of Naruto was slowly turning into red chakra and began to slowly dissipate. Both Sakura and Shizune stood side by side not knowing what the outcome would be. Tsunade had come carrying a limp Sasuke. “I tell you this kid is even more dangerous than any could have imagined. I don’t know how he survived but he did…what the hell is going on”.
“Tsunade-sama I honestly do not know what is going on. Kyuubi just suddenly turned into this form after talking with us.”
The red chakra was nearly extinguished all but a small form that was slowly solidifying into a human shape. As everyone saw the human shape slowly became one that everybody could recognize as Naruto. After Naruto had been released from the chakra he was stark naked and he was curled into a ball.
Tsunade laid Sasuke down on the ground and ran toward Naruto as well Sakura and Shizune. All three looked at him and could see he was alright. Shizune then grabbed a towel that had been blown around and used it to cover up her son and said, “Oh Naruto I am so glad you are back with us”.
Sakura approached Naruto and picked him up and took him into the inn and put him to bed. However Sakura took it one step more and slept right next to Naruto and held onto him expecting him to leave her again.
