Hiya! Well here's the 14th chapter. It was originally 2 seperate chapters on FF.net but I decided to combine them into one for AFF, mainly because it was waaaaay too short of FF. Mmm which anonymous reviewer shall I reply to this time? Ah! I know...
LFOGaaNaruGaa is a favorite pairing of mine but I havn't written one yet. No plot dust bunnies have popped up and bitten me for a GaaNaru or a NaruGaa fic. But Sasuke and Naruto are still number two on my 'Favorite Naruto Yaoi Pairings' list. Number 1 is ItaSai. Thanks for answering my 'Is Jiraya stronger' query.
Okay now speaking of Itachi and Sai Where are they?

Sai:T.W. Itachi is still laughing.

T.W.:O.O WHAT?!

Sai:He keeps reading the first half of chapter 13 and laughing over it.

Chapter 14 Ferris Wheels, Music, and Memories

Naruto's hand was held in Sasuke's as they walked down the street.

"Ne teme, wh-"

"Hey blondie!"

Naruto looked up to see Kiba and Hinata walking towards them.

"Hey dog-breath, Hinata-chan, what are you guys doing?and where's Akamaru?"

Kiba grinned and wrapped an arm around Hinata, "We're on a date, Akamaru offered to stay home so that we could have privacy."

"Whoa, no way. What's Hinata-chan see in you?"

Kiba was about to slug naruto, but Hinata stopped him, "Naruto-kun was just teasing you Kiba. Are you and Sasuke-san on a date as well Naruto-kun?"

"Yeah. Hey thanks for the gift Hinata-chan."

"You're welcome Naruto-kun, I'm happy you liked it. How was your birthday?"

"It was okay, but I'd have liked it better if Sasuke-teme had been with me. Well you guys should get on with your date. Kiba be good to Hinata-chan, you're lucky to have her."

Kiba looked down at Hinata, "Believe me, I know."

Then he and Hinata walked away.

Naruto smiled, "I'm glad Hinata found someone to love."

Sasuke looked at the blond, "Why?"

"Cause she used to have a huge crush on me so I'm glad she was able to move on. I always knew that I'd never be able to return her feelings,"

"Why not?"

"Uh because I'm gay for one reason. There are a few others, but I'm gonna keep those to myself."

'Like the fact that I've loved you for years.'

"Hn."

"So you wanna go to a music store next teme?"

"Hn."

Naruto just grinned at Sasuke's grunt, "The music store it is!"

As they headed for the music store, they passed a ferris wheel from the festival that hadn't been taken down yet. Naruto stopped to stare at it for a moment, "Why's a ferris wheel here?"

"It was set up for the festival and they haven't gotten around to taking it down yet."

Naruto hmmed and stood staring at the ferris wheel. Sasuke sighed and grabbed the blond's hand, "Come on dobe."

"S-Sasuke?"

The brunette dragged Naruto to the ferris wheel, paid the operator, and pulled Naruto into one of the gondolas. Naruto's eyes were huge as he watched out the gondola's window.

"Usuratonkachi, you act like you've never been on a ferris wheel before."

Naruto grinned at Sasuke, "Well, I haven't."

If Sasuke hadn't been an Uchiha, his jaw would have hit the floor, "What?"

"A ferris wheel ride is something you do with someone special to you and since I've always been alone, I never bothered to ride on a ferris wheel before."

Sasuke waited until the gondola paused at the top then, he got up, went over to where Naruto stood at the window, and wrapped his arms around Naruto from behind. He buried his nose in Naruto's hair, drawing in the scent of cinnamon and peaches.

"Sasuke?"

"You don't have to deny yourself things because you think you need a companion to do them. Not anymore because now you have me, and you never have to be alone again because I'll always be here with you."

Naruto closed his eyes and let those words wash over him, soothing an old wound and calming a constant fear. Deep down Naruto had always worried that Sasuke would leave again, but his words now ended that worry. Naruto turned in Sasuke's arms and raised his lips to the avenger's. The kiss was soft and sweet, a declaration and a promise. It lasted until they were at the bottom of the ferris wheel. They exited the gondola and headed to the music store.

Sasuke was smirking as he watched Naruto hop around the music store listening to sample tracks from various CDs. Most of them were happy, high energy, sugary pop songs, but every once in a while Naruto would listen to a slow or emotionally moving song. When he found one he liked he'd listen to the other sample tracks from the CD only to decide against getting it. He had chosen a couple of singles but no albums.

Sasuke saw an interesting song title and decided to listen to it. He slipped the earphones on and hit play. His eyes widened when the lyrics registered. He listened to a few more songs from the album and decided to get the CD.

Naruto had given up on finding an album he liked and was waiting for Sasuke to finish. When the Uchiha picked up the CD, Naruto asked, "You done Sasuke?"

"Hn. Let's pay for these and go dobe."

Naruto grinned and got in line with Sasuke, talking about nothing in particular just happy to be with him.

After paying for the CDs, Sasuke guided Naruto over to Ichiraku, "You hungry?"

Naruto looked at the ramen stand and grinned, "A little."

They sat down at the counter and ordered, Sasuke a single bowl of seafood ramen, Naruto his usual three bowls of barbeque pork ramen. As they waited for the food to arrive, Naruto said, "Iwas thinking that maybe you'd like to go to a movie next."

Sasuke shook his head, "Actually, I know where we should go next."

Naruto tilted his head cutely, "Where?"

"You'll see."

Naruto's next question was interrupted by the food's arrival and he dropped the subject as he ate. Like Sasuke said, he'd see.

Naruto looked at the upright logs in the training grounds.

"What are we doing here?"

Sasuke sat down next to the center log, "You remember what happened here?"

Naruto sat next to him, "Well yeah, of course I do. The bell test. This is where we became genin and I got tied to the log. It's also where you offered me your lunch even though Kakashi-sensei said that you'd fail automatically if you did."

The brunette smiled, "That day was when I first noticed you as something other than a rival or possible friend, but being who I am, I ignored it. Until the Valley of the End," he paused for a moment then, "You once asked me why I didn't kill you then and I told you that it had been nothing more than a whim of mine. That was a lie. It wasn't really that I didn't kill you; it was that I couldn't. I couldn't kill the one person who had managed to get past my walls and make me love him."

Naruto stared at Sasuke and whispered, "You really love me?"
Naruto knew that Sasuke cared but he'd been afraid to believe that Sasuke loved him.

Sasuke whacked Naruto's head with the flat of his hand, "Usuratonkachi, you think I kiss all my friends? Yes I love you, despite your occasional idiocy."

Naruto launched himself at Sasuke and glomped the Uchiha. Sasuke tensed in surprise, before wrapping his arms around Naruto, who was straddling the brunette's hips and had his arms around Sasuke's waist, his face in the crook of the Uchiha's neck. 'Well this is an interesting position. Too bad I can't do anything about it. Damn seditive.'

Naruto mumbled, "Only you could make a declaration of love into an insult teme, " Sasuke felt Naruto smile against the skin of his neck, "I guess that's one of the reasons I love you so much."

He raised his head to give Sasuke a peck on the lips.

"Hn dobe."

Naruto grinned and turned in Sasuke's arms so that he was sitting between the avenger's legs with his back to Sasuke's chest. Naruto laid his hands over the arms Sasuke wrapped around his waist.

"Hey teme look at that sunset! Isn't it incredible?"

"Hn."

Sasuke rested his chin on top of Naruto's head and watched the sun sink behind the Hokage Monument.

As the light faded and Sasuke lightly stroked the skin around Naruto's navel, a thought occured to him. 'Hm, just because I can't get an erection doesn't mean I can't play with Naruto.' They stood and left the training groung, not even noticing the faint chakra signatures hiding in the bushes.

Ino was crouched beside her sparing partner and trying to stifle a nosebleed, "I can't believe what I just saw."

TenTen looked over at Ino, "It is a little surprising, but if you really think about it, it makes a lot of sense. Those two have always understood each other in ways no one else can."

Ino nodded, "You're right but expecting to come here for a sparring matching only to see that was-"

Ino turned to exchange a wicked grin with TenTen, "Oh yeah, it's too bad we didn't have a camera."

"Who says we didn't?," TenTen held up the small digital camcorder that she always carried to a sparring match so that she could record he performance and critque it later.

Ino's eyes widened, "So you recorded the whole thing?"

TenTen nodded.

"TenTen, how fast do you think we can share that with everyone?"

Sasuke and Naruto entered the Uchiha mansion and trudged up the stairs to Sasuke's room, where they stripped to the skin and crawled under the bed covers. Naruto draped himself over Sasuke, head on his chest, left arm around his waist, the other hand in the raven hair, and one leg between Sasuke's. The Uchiha wrapped his arms around his usuratonkachi, "Goodnight dobe."

"Sleep well teme."

Then they fell asleep, Sasuke listening to Naruto's breathing and Naruto listening to Sasuke's heartbeat.

Sasuke winced as sunlight hit his closed eyelids, waking him up. He opened his eyes and glanced down at the sleeping face of his blond fox. 'He looks so peaceful like that, it's hard to believe he's been through so much.' Sasuke ran his fingers through Naruto's hair and down his cheeks, tracing the whisker marks. Naruto wrinkled his nose at the slight tickle and opened his eyes to see Sasuke looking down at him with a rare gentle smile.

"Good morning usuratonkachi."

"Morning teme."

Sasuke leaned down and kissed Naruto teasingly until the blond grabbed his head with one hand and increased the kiss's pressure, while the other hand ran down the avenger's back to his ass and squeezed. Sasuke groaned as his body made it apparent that the seditive's effects had definately worn off. Sasuke ran his hand down Naruto's body and was about to grasp the blond's cock, when a very loud knock followed by Sakura's voice interrupted him.

"Sasuke-kun! You and Naruto have a problem and I can't find him anywhere!"

Sasuke dropped his head onto Naruto's shoulder and groaned in frustration. Naruto chuckled, "We just can't get a break can we teme?"

"I swear if this isn't an emergency I'm locking her in a closet for a week."

Naruto laughed as they got out of bed, dressed and went downstairs to let Sakura in.

"Naruto!There you are!"

Sasuke raised an eyebrow, "Why are you here Sakura?"

"Um, well you see, someone's passing out pictures of you and Naruto at the training grounds in a very intimate position."

Naruto's screamed 'what' was headr by Tsunade in the Hokage tower.
