It was a month after my demon had appeared, Naruto had made peace with me and my demon. Sasuke was as happy as an Uchiha would ever get and Kakashi was pleased with our teamwork. We now worked together in everything, we had fun and I helped Naruto get over his crush and start dating again.

Chapter 13

We once again stood in the Hokage's office awaiting orders on a mission. Lady Hokage had called us the night before and was now in a important meeting with the council about my rash actions a month before. They were concerned my demon was a threat to the village.

Lady Hokage: (comes in sighing and sits at desk) well Mika I managed to buy you one chance to prove yourself but it will be hard for you.

Me: (gulps) yes?

Lady Hokage: you will not only catch the outlaw of the rain Aoi but you and your team will chase the S Ranked Criminal Itachi Uchiha.

I froze and whimpered, going pale as the memories threatened to assault me yet again. Naruto's arm came around my neck and he pulled me close. I trembled uncontrollably; Sasuke ruffled my hair and kissed my forehead.

Sasuke: Lady Hokage…..

Lady Hokage: (shakes head) no Sasuke I tried I really did the council was insistent I give you this mission I'm sorry

I snapped, I broke down and cried in Naruto's shoulder. Naruto sat down on the floor and hugged me hard. Sasuke knelt beside us and stroked my head.

Lady Hokage: what I can do is this I can send you after Aoi first if that would help.

Me: (tears stream down her face) really? Thank you Lady Hokage

After I had calmed down we packed and set off. Five hours later we arrived in the Tea Country and began our search for the outlaw. As the sun was setting we found Aoi, the fight was kept short, although Sasuke was shocked unconscious and nearly thrown off a cliff. Naruto grabbed him just in time through allowing me to knock Aoi out with no trouble.

A/N: again sorry I know it's crap but I had to keep it short the next mission will be better I promise!
