Chapter 15
Naruto couldn’t believe that was Sasuke. When the weird bartender told him that he would find Sasuke in the back he was skeptical because he had a really strange smile on his face. Then when he said, “But he might be busy,” he headed toward the back with Neji in tow.
He stood there looking into shocked dark eyes. He couldn’t believe
. “Sasuke?” His voice was soft but it seemed to echo throughout the entire club.
Dark eyes took in his blond boyfriend. “Naruto,” Sasuke whispered. His mouth dry, his heart beating wildly inside his chest. Why was he here? No he didn’t want him to see him this way.
Naruto eyes went past Sasuke and locked with golden eyes. Narrowing, he couldn’t stop the low growl that escaped from his lips, “bastard. Let him go.”
Smirking, Orochimaru was thinking that maybe he should have taken the blonde. It would have been fun breaking him, “what makes you think he’s here against his will …hmmm?”
Neji stared at the weird man that kept smiling as he looked at Naruto. Ok, if he even touches him he was going down.
Naruto stepped toward them and noticed that Sasuke didn’t move. “Sasuke, come on, lets go,” he said as he reached his hand toward the raven.
Sasuke’s dark eyes looked at the inviting tanned hand that reached toward him. He wanted to grab that hand and tell Naruto to get him out of here, but he didn’t, he couldn’t.
The blonde watched as dark eyes looked at him. He thought he caught a bit of sadness, but it was gone in a second as a smirk appeared, “dobe, I’m not going anywhere with you.” He told him as he turned back around.
Kabuto’s laugh echoed throughout the nearly empty club.
Neji was dumbstruck. what the hell? He wondered as his pale eyes took in the blonde as he stood there, his hand still outstretched.
Naruto didn’t hear him. He thought Sasuke said he didn’t want to come with him, “Sasuke,” he began.
Sasuke lowered his head, it looked as if he was about to kiss the snake bastard but he couldn’t turn to look at the blonde, “leave me alone,” he told him tears dropping from his eyes.
His hand dropped to his side. Neji watched as the blonde stood there staring at Sasuke. “Come on Naruto, let’s go.” He quietly told the young man as he place a gentle hand on his shoulder. He turned him around and walked out the club.
Neji put the blonde in the passenger seat and went around to the driver side. He waited until they were on the express way before he asked, “Hey, Naruto, you ok?” He knew he wasn’t but…
When he didn’t get a response, he turned to see Naruto looking out the window, staring at nothing. “Naruto?”
“I’m fine.”
That was it. They drove in silence.

Sasuke jumped off of Orochimaru’s lap but was grabbed and pulled back down, “where do you think you’re going? You’re mine.”
The raven broke down. Tears streamed down his pale cheeks.
Kabuto smirked, “look at you Sasuke, crying like a little bitch.”
“Shut the fuck up!” He snarled at the silver haired man. Sasuke didn’t care, he just lost the only person that saw him, the one person that love him. His chest hurt, his mind ached. He didn’t want to be there anymore if he was without Naruto.
Orochimaru pushed him up and turned him around. He saw the blank look in those dark eyes, but he also saw something else. He’s seen this look before, smirking, “don’t even think about it my sweet, sweet Sas. If you die then Naruto & Sakura will be mine.”
There was no way out, he thought as his head dropped, tears falling onto the floor.

Sakura looked around the club hoping to spot Sasuke. It’s been a week since Naruto and Neji came back from looking for him. Neji told her that they didn’t find him, but she knew he was lying. She saw the heartrending look in those, now dead, blue eyes of Naruto that day. She wanted to reach out and hug him but Neji shook his head.
The band was performing tonight and she was working behind the bar. Naruto was there too. He seemed fine but she new better. She shook her head and started taking drink orders hoping her brother in law was going to show tonight.
Naruto’s breath caught when he heard Gaara introduce the band. His blue eyes turned toward the stage and there stood Sasuke. Looking just as good as ever. I guess being with Orochimaru is good for him, he thought as his eyes locked in on the raven.
Once Gaara gave the mic to Sasuke, the raven smirked as he looked out into the crowd.
“Hello Everyone, Glad you could make it! I hope you enjoy these songs that I wrote!!” The raven shouted over the mic.
The band began to play:
Here I stand, helpless and left for dead

He tried not to look at Naruto, but his eyes wandered over to the blonde who was standing behind the bar staring up at him.

The silver haired man smirked as he eyed the blonde. “What an idiot,” he hissed as his eyes went back to the stage.

The crowd erupted as Sasuke turned toward his band mates. Dark eyes took in the guys that have become family, like brothers.
“You ok Sas?” Kiba asked. He was worried about him like everyone else was.
“I’m fine,” he told him as he turned back around.
The band sang a few more songs until it was about midnight. Sasuke looked out over the crowd, “thanks everyone for your support. This will be my last song for the night. This song I wrote for a special person.”
The club went quiet as Sasuke closed his eyes. Feeling the hushed silence all around him he wished that he could be with the only person he loved. Shaking his head he knew that to be just a dream, a broken dream.
Shika started in with a violin solo then Neji on the piano, then Kiba came in with the drums.
As he opened his eyes, Sasuke’s voice flowed over the crowd as his body moved with the music.

Sasuke dark eyes looked out over the crowd searching, finding blue eyes looking back at him as he continued:

Sasuke’s dark head dropped as the crowd applauded and demanded more. His heart was breaking, he couldn’t stay there anymore. His dark eyes looked up to see Kabuto walking out the front, which meant it was time for him to leave. He dropped the microphone and headed off the stage. He heard his name being shouted over the other’s. He knew that voice but he couldn’t shout back. He stopped turning to look into the crowd. He could see Naruto looking at him, wanting to come to him. The raven, shaking his head, mouthed his final words to the one man that he ever loved, “I Love You.” Turing around he walked off the stage and out of everyone’s life..

Naruto shouted out Sasuke’s name as he ran toward the stage. The crowd was to dense, he wasn’t moving! He looked up to see the raven stop and turn. He looked directly at him and mouth those 3 words he had long to hear from him again. But then he turned and walked off the stage. NO! he shouted in his mind as he pushed himself through the sea of bodies.
When the blonde reached the stage Gaara was already on stage. He saw Neji run to the back so he followed.
Sakura saw Sasuke as he walked off the stage. She watched as Naruto tried to get to the stage, she left the bar and followed.
As she reached backstage he saw Neji holding Naruto. She could see the blonde’s body shaking. “Where’s Sasuke?” Her voice was soft. She knew the answer to her own question as she walked toward the two men.
Naruto looked up from Neji’s shoulders, eyes shimmering with tears as they slid down his cheeks. “Sakura-chan, he’s…he’s gone.”
