Disclaimer:
I do not own Naruto, nor any of the characters from it. I do not make any money from the writing of this story.
Naruto Kidnapped!?
Artemis: Wow. Took me a bit to update again…sorry. But I have good news!!! I passed my stupid ‘DirectX with C++’ programming class with a B. ^^ Now on to Flash class…hee hee…going to learn flash. ^^ I’ll be able to make flash videos!!! =D
Anyway, I’ve figured out the breakdown of pairings in this story...
Will be: Sasuke/Naruto, Kakashi/Iruka, Lee/Gaara, Shino/Kiba
Implied: Neji/Naruto, Neji/Hinata, Kakashi/others (lol), Main Baddie/Naruto (not giving you name of who just yet)
Possibly Implied but Not: Sasuke/Neji (*laughs at the idea*), Kiba/Naruto, Gaara/Naruto, Lee/Neji, Naruto/Hinata
Yep. That’s pretty much it. The will be’s happen to be my favorite pairings, which will normally exist in any story I write based on the Naruto world. As for how much of these pairings will be shown, depends completely on the story. You probably won’t see any real action except from Sasuke and Naruto. And mostly cute fluff for the others.
Now…first I need to recover from the humorous idea of Sasuke and Neji…………….ok! Um…starting from last chapter, this will make up the Naruto Kidnapped arc! *laughs* However, unlike the Cooking arc, the Naruto Kidnapped arc will be a little more…amusing. *chuckles evilly*
I still need to update my Naruto manga. O.o

Chapter 14: Naruto Kidnapped!?
Kakashi relaxed against the side of the hot spring, taking a sip from a small cup of sake and trying his best to ignore the shouts from the spring next to them.
“QUIT CALLING ME CHIBI!!!”
“THEN STOP CALLING ME DOG BREATH!!”
“How about we all enjoy a youthful game of-“
“Stay out of this, Lee!”
“EEP!!”
“SNAKE BAIT!!!!!!”
“I couldn’t help myself…”
“SASUKE! DON’T!!”
“LET GO OF ME! I’LL KILL HIM!!!!”
“Can’t we just all get along?”
“NO!” Came the voices of many in unison.
Gai let out a hearty laugh, grinning at Kakashi, “Awe, what a spirited bunch we both ended up with!”
Kakashi didn’t comment, pouring himself some more sake and looking up at the sky. Tuning out the death threats, yells, and splashing, he focused his mind on better thoughts. Silky brown hair, dark chocolate eyes, the delicious tones of a voice shouting threats at him in an attempt to hide their true feelings…his dearest Iruka-chan…if only he was there snuggled in Kakashi’s arms. The older angel could be content to molest the gorgeous human for all eternity.
Gai blinked, noticing the peculiar expression on his rival’s face. “Awe, my worthy opponent. I see you have found a new target?”
Kakashi blinked out of his thoughts and took in the question, smirking unashamed at it, “This one is different, Gai.”
“Oh?” Gai frowned, confused. He then laughed happily and gave Kakashi a smack on the back, “Haha! Love is a blossoming flower that shall not be denied its spot in the sun! I am happy for you.”
Kakashi chocked on his sake, Gai’s pat enough to nearly send him face first into the water. Honestly, the man needed to watch his strength. Glaring slightly and recovering, Kakashi sighed and looked at the other curiously. “So…the kid that looks like you. Isn’t he-“
“Yep. He’s the first of them we found. He’s not nearly as powerful as Naruto, but he’s got the heart,” Gai smiled, tears in his eyes at the mere thought of his beloved student.
Kakashi sweatdropped.
Gai recovered and tilted his head a little. “Now…I can see why they placed Naruto with you, Kakashi. But that other child…Gaara…he’s an interesting one.”
Kakashi stared into his sake with a thoughtful frown, “Gaara sort of just fell into our hands. Actually, Naruto brought him home. We’re lucky to have found him before the enemy did…but he was starting down the wrong path to begin with.”
Gai nodded, “Hai. But I’m sure he will turn around. He seems good of heart.”
Kakashi sighed and finished his sake, standing and starting out of the spring. He needed some rest.
“The enemy has managed to gather up five,” Gai spoke up, watching Kakashi pause in his leave. “We can’t tell what they’re doing…but it looks like they have more interest in Naruto then in finding the ninth.”
Kakashi sighed and crossed his arms, “Only three. If the last one doesn’t show itself soon and join our side…”
Gai nodded solemnly, looking at his sake now. “Lee is not very strong compared to the others, and neither is Gaara. If the fourth doesn’t side with us, Heaven could be in trouble.”
Kakashi turned and looked at his colleague seriously, “We may not be too bad off. I think Sasuke may possess Sharingan.”
“S-Sharingan!?” Gai’s eyes widened in surprise and he accidentally dropped his cup into the water.
“Sharingan…the sight that is both a gift and curse,” Kakashi sighed, rubbing the left eye hidden by his hair. “Eyes given to those who have witnessed an act of unforgivable sin and died soon after. The scars of that evil forever carve themselves into the eyes…thus, Sharingan comes into existence. Though it allows its user to read an enemy’s movements and copy their abilities, it causes them pain and their souls are forever plagued with the sin they witnessed.”
“But as you say…Sharingan doesn’t form until after death. And even then, the infected soul has a 98% chance of vanishing out of existence soon after,” Gai frowned, giving his rival a pointed look.
“I know…I know all to well…” Kakashi sighed, his tone a painful one as a few memories drifted in and out of his thoughts. “But for a moment, I saw it flash in his eyes.
Gai frowned and again looked down, crossing his arms as well. “It’s true that another Sharingan user will make a powerful ally…but the circumstances surrounding Uchiha Sasuke and his pre-mature abilities are suspicious enough as it is. It would probably be wise to keep a close eye on him for now.”
“Why do you think God allowed Naruto to be Sasuke’s guardian?” Kakashi pointed out.
“I see…” Gai nodded and stood with a sigh, stretching. “Then we shall let this go for now and watch events unfold as they choose to.”
Lee popped his head in at that moment, blinking at them both. “Um…excuse me, Gai-sensei? Kakashi-sensei? It would seem, due to powers beyond my control, that Neji-kun is now…sleeping…”
Kakashi raised an eyebrow and sighed. “How bad?”
“Well…Naruto-kun was able to pull Sasuke-kun off after a moment…”
Gai burst out into laughter, grinning merrily and forgetting the grim discussion he had been sharing with Kakashi a moment early. “AWE! To be young again!”
Kakashi sweatdropped and shook his head, wondering how he managed to retain his sanity.
He shuddered fearfully, stepping away from the closet door until his back was pressed against the wall. He wanted to close his eyes and shut everything out, but he couldn’t get his eyes to listen. They remained glued on the sight before him, obscured only slightly where the wood of the door got in the way.
Why? Why was this happening?
His knees gave out and he sank slowly to the floor, unable to look away. Tears formed in his eyes and chocked his breath, but he was too terrified to cry.
“Go inside! Stay hidden and please, baby, keep quiet!”
She’d kissed him once on the forehead with the tears falling from her own eyes, before shoving him in his current hiding place. And now she was dead…the blood everywhere…
He wanted to close his eyes…he didn’t want to see this…he wanted this to be a nightmare. Just a nightmare.
Please wake up.
Wake up!
Sasuke gasped as his eyes flew open, his body and mind jolting violently out of the nightmare. He panted heavily, trying to get a hold of himself. His body felt sweaty and cold, and his stomach churned violently as the sickening images slowly left him. Panic began to rise in him when he realized there was someone there, arms wrapped around him. However, the subtle scent of ramen invaded his nose and calmed him out of the initial panic attack with the reminder of where he was and whose arms those were.
Listening to the soft snores around him and resting his head under Naruto’s chin, Sasuke waited for his body to quit shaking so much and reveled in the knowledge that it was in the past. He was safe in the hotel room, smothered just slightly by his angel, who was apparently very clingy in his sleep.
When the shaking had died down enough, Sasuke slowly ducked out from under Naruto’s arms and sat up, then proceeded to pull his leg free from between both of Naruto’s. After he was free and certain he hadn’t disturbed the sleeping blonde, he got out of bed and moved to the bathroom to duck his head under the cold tap water.
He hated nightmares. It was always about the same things. From the incident at school long ago to the incident revolving around his family’s death, the haunting dreams never stopped to rest. Sometimes he felt so sick of reliving those memories that he would play with the idea of just not sleeping. But he’d already gone through that before, and had learned that denying himself sleep didn’t help.
But it didn’t matter. His brother was locked away forever in a far away prison and he was spending fun time at a hot springs resort with Naruto and a few friends.
Sighing, Sasuke turned the water off and grabbed a towel, drying his head off and looking at himself in the mirror. Frowning, he stared at something red at the edges of his eyes and reached up a hand to touch it curiously. With a terrified jolt back, he dropped the towel and collided into the wall behind him with wide eyes.
Blood!?
He looked down at his fingers, but the red wasn’t there. He looked back up into the mirror and gripped the doorknob, the blood that he’d thought had been there now gone.
“Just my imagination…” Sasuke told himself and shivered, swearing softly. He’d allowed the aftermath of his nightmares to get to him.
Running a shaky hand through his hair, Sasuke turned the bathroom light off and walked out of the inn room into the night air. He wrapped his arms around himself and walked along the hallway, looking out into the gardens in the center of the building.
He paused, spotting Gaara sitting under a sakura tree, and headed down out of curiosity and a slight need for any form of distraction.
Back in their room, Naruto opened his eyes and lifted his head curiously, coming out of sleep with the realization that Sasuke had left the bed. Sitting up, he yawned and rubbed at his eyes, then looked around curiously. Gaara wasn’t there, which didn’t really surprise him. After a few days of living together, he’d learned that Gaara rarely slept and mostly staid up in bed reading a book or staring up at the ceiling. But Sasuke was gone as well and the inn room’s door was partially open.
“Neh? Sasuke?” Naruto called out, in case the other was in the bathroom. He received no answer, but saw something go by the apartment door. “Sasuke?”
Frowning, he pushed the covers off him and got out of bed, heading out of the room and looking for Sasuke. He again saw something go around the corner and perked up, heading after it curiously.
“Sasuke?”
He tried to speed up a little and catch the other, but every time he turned a corner, all he caught was a flash of movement. This kept up till he was in the springs area, walking between the bamboo fencing towards the forest. Again, a flash of movement around the corner of the wall. This time Naruto broke into a run and turned the corner, quickly stopping as a hissing sound cut through the night air.
A small green garden snake tensed on one of the smooth stones, hissing warningly at Naruto.
Naruto took the warning and backed off with a frown, realizing he’d just been following the snake and not Sasuke. Turning around to head back, he started to wonder where Sasuke could be when he saw something by the woods. Blinking, he smiled happily the moment he was able to make out who it was.
“Sasuke! Hey!”
Sasuke glanced at him curiously, before stuffing his hands into his pockets and starting into the forest. Naruto frowned and ran after him, wondering what was going on. Sasuke continued to walk through the woods at a steady pace, somehow staying ahead of Naruto and out of his reach. Naruto frowned and ran faster, trying to catch up with his charge.
“Sasuke! Wait up, teme! Where are we going?”
Sasuke glanced behind him at Naruto and smirked in amusement, breaking out into a run as well and leading them deeper into the trees and farther from the resort. Naruto pouted and tried his best to catch up, but Sasuke was fast on the feet and the roots kept tripping him. Finally, Naruto gave up in irritation and spread his wings, jumping off the ground and flying at Sasuke in a tackle. With flight as his momentum, he easily caught up and crashed into Sasuke, sending them both tumbling onto the ground in a tangled mess.
Naruto laughed in amusement as they finally stopped, burying his face into Sasuke’s chest with a grin. “Caught you, teme!”
Sasuke blinked in surprise, then suddenly smiled and wrapped his arms around Naruto, pulling him close against him. “Such beautiful white wings…and hair golden as the sun…”
Naruto smiled and blushed slightly, then suddenly frowned a bit. Wait…Sasuke was acting kinda weird. He pulled away enough to look up in confusion at the other. “S-Sasuke?”
Sasuke smiled, but it wasn’t Sasuke’s smile. It was odd and slightly scary. “You’re so beautiful…You’d make a beautiful bride.”
“N-Nani?” Naruto blinked and suddenly felt a little scared. He tried to pull free out of the other’s arms, but realized with a small bit of panic that this other person was strong.
“Where are you going, my bride?” The other male asked. Suddenly Sasuke’s features melted and reformed.
Naruto felt his heart stop in fright as he was suddenly held by someone who was definitely not Sasuke. It had a human body dressed in an old fashioned priest robes and long, straight, black hair. Its face was hidden behind a white mask with red claw marks painted on, and two large black wings suddenly stretched from its back around them.
It was definitely not Sasuke!
Sasuke looked up curiously as the sound of footsteps interrupted his and Gaara’s discussion. Kiba, Lee, Neji, and Akamaru were all running towards them looking startled. Sasuke frowned and stood as they finally arrived.
“What’s wrong?” Sasuke demanded, sensing something was off.
Neji regained his breath the quickest, straightening and looking at the other two males. “Where’s Naruto, you asshole!?”
Gaara frowned at the question and stood as well. “What?”
“Naruto’s in our room,” Sasuke answered, suddenly feeling a small tendril of panic forming.
Kiba shook his head with a frown, also feeling a little panicked now by the confused expressions on Gaara and Sasuke’s faces. “No he’s not!”
“WHAT!?!” Sasuke and Gaara both shouted in unison.
“Kiba-kun saw Naruto-kun heading into the forest after you,” Lee explained to Sasuke.
“Akamaru was scratching and whining at the door. I thought he needed to take a piss, so I took him out. He headed straight for the springs, and when we arrived I caught sight of Naruto and you heading into the forest,” Kiba explained further.
Akamaru barked in confirmation.
“I saw it to,” Neji nodded, gritting his teeth angrily and grabbing Sasuke by the shirt collar. “Now where did you take him!?”
“Neji-kun…I don’t see how Sasuke-kun could be with Naruto-kun if he’s here with Gaara-kun,” Lee interjected.
“He’s right. Sasuke was with me,” Gaara agreed, frowning. He didn’t like this.
“Back off, snake bait! Even if it was me, I wouldn’t do anything to hurt Naruto!” Sasuke snapped, yanking Neji’s hands off him.
“Is it a trick of the enemy?” Kiba asked, looking towards Lee.
Neji chewed his lip, racking his mind for an answer. “Kuso…it can’t be. I didn’t sense a presence that evil.”
“I didn’t sense a demon either,” Sasuke agreed, growing increasingly worried.
“It might have been a tengu then,” Kiba swore lightly.
“A tengu?” Gaara frowned.
Neji straightened, crossing his arms with a serious expression. “That would make the most sense. This place is famous for lores revolving around a mountain tengu. Supposedly it lives in a palace in the center of the mouth of the volcano and watches over this area. The locals say it’s the reason why the volcano lies dormant.”
“And tengu’s are famous for kidnapping children by disguising themselves as a human or creature,” Kiba nodded.
“So a tengu’s taken Naruto away!?” Sasuke demanded, wanted a yes rather then a maybe.
“Naruto is rather chibi,” Kiba pointed out. “The only explanation seems to be the tengu one.”
“We should go inform Gai-sensei and Kakashi-sensei of this,” Lee suggested.
“No! There’s no time for that!” Sasuke snapped and started towards the springs and the forest without waiting for them.
“HEY! There’s no way I’m letting you be the one to rescue him!” Neji shouted angrily, running quickly after Sasuke.
“Damnit…” Gaara swore, racing after them as well.
“Lee! Let’s go,” Kiba ordered, grabbing hold of Akamaru and jumping onto his back, Akamaru bounding after the other boys.
“Gai-sensei, forgive us for not waking you,” Lee stated with a frown and glance at their sensei’s rooms, before giving in and running after the others.
***Notes***
Sasuke's closet door - in case it confused you. Sasuke's closet door is like the one at my grandma's. It's a door but it has a sort of vent like style through it...kinda like blinds but wooden and part of the door. So Sasuke can hide but still see a little out of it.
Go go power rangers! - O.o Just kidding. XD Anyways, they're off! Five boys and a dog, on the way to rescue poor Naruto. XD
Sharingan - See...I told you I'd explain it. It also helped to give a little story for Kakashi and two other characters, which will come up later. ^^
***reviewer responses***
Rasengan22 - I believe the turtle from the anime is Gai's summon creature. Like Kakashi has dogs and Jiyaira has frogs and Tsunade has snails...I think Gai has turtles. Which does fit him. XD Sorry, the rival thing with Sasuke and Naruto doesn't really work with the story. But Naruto and Kiba have a sort of rivalry as well in the manga/anime, which I am able to exploit. And no, Jiyaira has a different role in this story. ^^
littleolmee - Yes. I can see Naruto celebrating about something he doesn't even know what it is. XD I should have made Naruto say he wanted to sleep with Sasuke and Neji. It would have led to some funny possibilities. But Naruto's two favorite people are clearly Gaara and Sasuke. ^^'
Anna - Yes. Now that the crew is here, they can play team mates! XD And yeah... *thinks up funny things of what people might have been thinking about Sasuke and Neji fighting over Naruto* XD
Painful Silence - Yep. That was a small glimpse of Jiyaira. And at the moment, I haven't planned on Tsunade. ^^'
bloodyrose - Yeah. Sorry...but Iruka didn't squeeze into this arc. ^^' Gaara gets Lee of course. And I'm kinda hinting around Neji/Hinata...just cause I personally think it's kinda cute. ^^
Kuu-ish - Naruto is so cute. XD
The Kitsune Thief - ahh!! *hugs her Kitsune protectively* just kidding. ^^ Yes...lucky Hinata got to be in hot springs with our sexy guys. XD
CommGonn - Hinata is more a blush and faint then nosebleed kinda person. ^_^
Jadejj - Yep! Gotta gather the most important of the Konoha 9 (or at least the most seen. ^^')
Artume - Awe...but I love Lee. ^^
Donedin - Yes...I'm going to work hard to make this good. ^^
Kameotoluvsgaara - welcome to my story. Glad you like it up till now. ^_^
