Savin' Me 16

I seem to be saying sorry a lot over my stories lately, first the weather, which by the way went cool fast and has since been up and down like a demented yo-yo. Then because I got a but run down I got the flu and it has hung on like a leech. So my concentration has been down. Then to add to that we are only betting Naruto once a week, on Sundays, five episodes in a row. Tonight we got four new ones then went back to the beginning again! And they didn’t finish the line of new episodes either, left it up in the air. And I was writing this all night, however I had to stop once for half an hour with one of the new episodes. I could not write this and watch it at the same time. This story is a serious story while the episode was well Episode 101. I was almost literally pissing myself laughing it was so funny, and the Most Kakashi we’ve had in a while. That episode has fast become my favorite, I mean nearly naked Kakashi!!!!!!! So here is the next piece, don’t know how things are going to go from here on. But right now I’m tired so I had better post this do a quick surf for stories I want to read and get to sleep, I have to start a new routine tomorrow. Enjoy.

Savin’ Me continued
By Fyrbyrd

The first few days were quiet. Kakashi slowly came out of the sedation and had yet to notice that they were no longer in the hospital. He had let Iruka feed him; clean him, all without fighting him in any way. He had slept a great deal of the time, not even noticing that there was someone on the bed with him. Iruka grateful that his night terrors had not come yet, but they were something he was going to have to be ready for.

He had gotten out of bed to begin breakfast leaving Kakashi to lay supposedly asleep. He was just getting a kettle on to boil when he heard a thump from the room. He hurried inside only to find Kakashi on the floor caught up in the bedclothes.

Iruka moved slowly to him making sure he could be seen and heard. “Kashi, you okay?”

He stopped when Kakashi moved, rolling onto his butt and trying to fight his way out of the clinging sheets and covers. He knew he was not restrained. Iruka moved a little closer, going down on his knees so he was not towering over Kakashi. “Do you want some help there? It’s okay, there’s just me and you, no guards to come in and threaten you. Let me give you a hand there.”

Moving slowly he reached out to help his friend from the entanglement. Kakashi had stiffened a little from the first touch, but relaxed once he knew he was truly being helped. Iruka managed to slip the bedclothes away, Kakashi doing nothing to hinder him as they slipped to the floor about him.

Iruka sat back on his heels. “We’re not in the hospital any more Kakashi. I brought you to this cabin where you will be safe, there’s no one here to bother us. Here you can heal and I will help you.”

Kakashi’s eye wandered around the otherwise bare room, taking in the covered window and the closed door.

“I know it’s not much, but it’s better than where you were. I couldn’t leave you there, Kashi. They were going to give up and leave you as you were. Locked in your world, locked away from everything that you are. Our friends have helped get us here, risking a lot to help us. But they care about you and they want you to come home to them. I know you probably don’t understand a lot of what I’m saying right now, but I need to help you Kashi. I love you and I can’t leave you like this. Let me help you.”

Kakashi’s eye had been watching a spot on the floor the whole time. It was hard to see what might be going on in his mind. He moved his hands up to the bed, Iruka watching cautiously as he pulled himself up. He was still a little weak from the sedations, his legs shaking as they tried to take his weight, which was how he had landed on the floor in the first place. He crawled onto the bed and lay there squinting at Iruka.

Iruka rocked back and onto his feet, “Hungry? I was about to make breakfast. I’ll bring it in in a few minutes okay.” He moved to the door at his usual pace and left it open so that Kakashi could hear what he was doing. He had decided that if there was going to be trust between them, it would be from the beginning on his part. While he was not going to let Kakashi out of the cabin for a while, he still didn’t want it to feel like a prison as his cell back at the hospital had become.

When Iruka returned he had a bowl of food and a cup of tea on a tray. By then Kakashi had maneuvered himself into a sitting position and he watched as Iruka approached. He allowed Iruka to sit down on the bed and arrange the tray on his lap.

“Do you need help, or do you want to do it yourself?”

Kakashi shakily reached down for a spoon and began to feed himself the mashed up rice. He ate very slowly and in the end could not manage the whole bowl. He took up the tea and drank it just as slowly but seeming to enjoy it more. When he was finished Iruka took the tray away and quickly ate his own food before returning. “Do you want to… go?”

Kakashi cocked his head to the side questioningly. “We have indoor plumbing here, as well as a shower. Like at…” he gulped when he realized what he was about to say. He really didn’t want to remind him of that place. “Anyway I can help you, if you’ll trust me.”

The silver haired man nodded and slid over to the edge of the bed. He tried again to get to his feet, but he still could not take his full weight. Iruka moved to him and slid an arm over his shoulder and put his other around Kakashi’s waist. “Come on,” he said smiling. Kakashi took a step but most of his weight was on Iruka. They made their way to the door and through it awkwardly and into the other room. He could see Kakashi’s eye taking in what there was to see, which wasn’t much, before they reached the end of the room and the other door which opened into the small bathroom of a toilet and shower with a small basin and jug on a small cupboard. “What first?”

Kakashi swung his head in the direction of the toilet and Iruka lifted its lid before helping Kakashi down. “Ah, do you need me?” he said again.

But Kakashi lifted himself and managed to pull his sweats down, Iruka backed out to give him some privacy, even though he’d seen a lot more in the past. Still, this was all a matter of trust and he needed Kakashi’s trust in all things now.

The toilet flushed and he moved back in to see Kakashi closing the lid as he let his pants fall to the floor. He sat there and raised his arms, indicating that he needed Iruka’s help with his top which Iruka slid off, leaving him naked. Kakashi pulled the eye cover off as Iruka moved to the shower and got it running. He got it warm; then moved to help Kakashi to his feet and into the cubicle. Kakashi leaned against the wall. “There’s soap there, can you do this alone?” Kakashi nodded and again Iruka backed away to let him do it by himself.

The man stood there letting the water run over him, holding to the walls to keep himself steady, but it felt good to have the water running over him. He pushed his head under the stream and let it run through his thick hair, making it fall down over his head. He leaned against the wall again as he soaped up his hands and ran it through his hair. It had been a while since it had been cleaned this thoroughly and he liked the feeling of being able to clean it. He rinsed it out and then moved to clean his body, again it had been a while since he had done that too, and oh it felt so good. Then when he was finished he turned off the water and sank against the wall. He was so tired again.

Iruka appeared with a towel in his hand. He too could see that the shower had exhausted his friends and helped wrap him into the towel and sit him back down on the toilet. He wrapped a smaller towel around Kakashi’s head and helped to dry his hair, before helping him to his feet with the towel around his waist and aided him back to the bed room where he had made the bed and laid out fresh sweats. He didn’t say a word as he got to the business of drying Kakashi them helping him into the clothes and then back into the bed. He smiled at how relaxed the older man looked. “I’ll go clean things up. Rest, I know that was tiring. I’ll be back when I’m finished.”

He must have slept for a while, because when he awoke Iruka was there with another tray. This time it held a bowl of broth and another cup of tea. He sat up again and let Iruka place the tray on his lap and watched as the man left and came back with his own tray so that they could eat together. Kakashi was stronger this time; he did not shake as he lifted the spoon to his mouth and ate. They ate in silence and once finished Iruka cleared away and cleaned up leaving Kakashi leaning against the wall. When he returned he was carrying a clipboard and a pen and he sat back down on the bed.

“All right Kakashi, I’m not going to hold anything back. We’re in a life and death situation here, your life and death. If I can’t help you our village will come for us and I’ll likely go to jail and you’ll be locked in the mental wing at the hospital for the rest of your life, which knowing the you of the past would not be long. You were dying not too long ago as it is; I don’t want to swap one slow death for another. I told you that I loved you, and I do, I always will, you took my heart without me even realizing it. We’ve had our differences in the past, but I cannot leave you to rot in a cell. Neither can any of your friends and believe it or not, you have a lot of them. A lot of the kids are helping Naruto who loves you too, not like me of course,” he smiled, “They all love you in their way. Some of the other Jounin are helping us as well. If the Hokage knew exactly how many of her trusted people were helping us she’d likely have a fit. There’s some who I’m sure would also like to help, but we’ve had to exclude them because we don’t want them to get into any trouble over this. Kakashi, you are one of the best, most respected Ninja in our village. Six years ago we think you had a run in with a missing Nin from our village named Itachi Uchiha. He had the Sharingan like you have only he was born to have it where as it was given to you as a dying gift. We think he messed with your head and left you for dead afterwards, probably thinking you’d wander off and die somewhere. But you didn’t die, you were found by a sadistic vengeful man who used you as a farm animal, beating and hurting you, until you were seen by a man who bought you and sold you onto the brothel where we found you. You remember the brothel?”

Kakashi nodded.

“Do you remember me being there with you?”

He nodded again.

“Good. Do you know what happened after that?”

This time he took his time, but shook his head in the negative.

“Uh huh… I won’t beat around the bush, but you were treated badly there again, you went a bit mad and killed the guy who was hurting you, then proceeded to destroy the place. It’s nothing but ashes now and the man that ran it, you killed. You used a Ninja technique which is very deadly to do all this, and you’ve been able to call on it when you get upset. Because of that is the reason you were locked up. So far your talents have remained sealed, but no one knows how you were able to bring the power up without hand signs… But that doesn’t matter right now. What matters is you and I working together to get you well. I’d like to help you get your memory back, Kakashi. I want us to go home together…“ He reached out gently to touch the man’s hair which was back in its usual style. The eye watched his hand come closer; he let Iruka push the hair away, then met his eyes. Iruka met his eyes, then realized what he was doing and pulled his hand away. “So what I need from you is to know what you do remember. Can you write?”

Kakashi nodded and Iruka handed him the clipboard. “Just write the answers to the questions I ask, okay?” And they got down to work.

Iruka left Kakashi asleep and moved back to the other room. He ran his fingers over his nose beneath his scar, then above. He had a headache. It seemed Kakashi remembered nothing of the farmer, nothing of his past in Konoha, nothing of the end of the brothel. His last memory of that place was being with the Lord on stage. He’d even lost a bit of his time in the hospital. He remembered Iruka’s kindness, but was vague about being taken from the cell after he had groped Iruka.

“What the hell am I doing? I have no idea how to help him,” he said to himself. He rubbed the top of his nose again, trying to ease the headache, then decided some tea might help.

Once he had a cup of tea he sat down again to try and figure out what to do. He could not just give up; too many people were risking themselves to help cover their hiding place. They seemed to have faith in him, though he was beginning to wonder if it were him or Naruto’s ability to get people to help him. He had planned all this the most.

Iruka smiled thinking of his young friend. He had a big heart when it came to his friends. He had been the one to find Kakashi; he understood how much Iruka had come to love Kakashi. He’d grown so much and he was probably facing a grilling right now over where his two sensei’s had disappeared to. Iruka sighed. He’d better not let them down then.

---------------------------------------------------------

According the routine, Kakashi awoke to see Iruka standing beside the bed with a tray in his hands. Only this time it was a bigger tray and it had legs. Iruka put it down once Kakashi had arranged himself into a sitting position; it had two steaming bowls on it. Iruka sat down on the bed opposite Kakashi and picked up one of the bowls and some chopsticks and began to eat. Kakashi watched him a few seconds before he picked up the other bowl and started to eat too.

“Do you know you have nightmares?” asked Iruka as they ate.

Kakashi seemed to think on that a while before he shook his head.

“Well you do and they are big ones I can tell you. They made me watch you one night at the hospital. I know you went through some seriously bad stuff at the brothel and the farm, and they seem to come out when you sleep at night. And I gotta tell you, we’ve only got one bed.”

Kakashi stopped eating and looked at the bed; he had not seen another on his trip to the shower. So that meant Iruka had to either sleep on the floor, or in the bed with him. He shrugged and went back to eating.

Iruka was still eating too but he was a little surprised by the shrug. But then Kakashi as the Bitch was used to sleeping with other people, only it wasn’t sleeping, it was sex. Not that sex with Kakashi wasn’t appealing, it just felt… wrong, in this situation.

Kakashi finished his bowl and put it down. Iruka followed a few minutes later and continued his line of thought, “And I’m not sleeping on the floor. So I want you to remember one thing tonight. You are safe with me. We are not in the brothel now; you are free, well as close to free as we can be at the moment. Anyway, all I want you to do is get strong first, then we’ll work out what to do next to help you. Because quite frankly, I have no idea where we are going to go.”

He got up and took the tray away, Kakashi watching him as he moved out. His visible eyebrow rose to his hairline and disappeared. Iruka had been totally honest with him the whole day. Admitting that he had no clue as to what he was going to do, yet determined to help. And he had gotten used to being called Kakashi very easily. It was better than Bitch, and it was his real name, he was sure of that now. And he had his memories of Iruka from the brothel. The man had been nothing but kind to him, as far as he knew, they had never had sex. But still if the reaction he was feeling between his legs was anything to go by, he wouldn’t mind if they did. He put his hand over the offending organ just as Iruka reappeared.

“Need to go? Can you make it on your own?”

Kakashi really hoped he was not turning red right now. He nodded twice and carefully slid from the bed, trying to hide his erection and yet wanting the excuse of going to the toilet to save himself. Which for a moment felt strange when he thought of it, his old whore’s mind would not want to hide it, but as he was now, he did. Luckily for him Iruka had turned away and allowed him to do it on his own. He felt a few pins and needles in his feet, but he was able to take his weight and slowly made his way to the door, his cock not the only things stiff.

He kept his hands in front of him as he made his way to the other door and quickly closed it behind him to make his way gratefully to the toilet. He knew how to make a man come in an instant, but it took a little longer for him to bring himself off, which he silently did. Damn he'd have to stop looking at the other man that way, even of he had professed his love for him. He flushed and turned back to the door and headed back to the bed. And he’d have to sleep in that same bed with him too…
