16: 夜 の 闇 / Sakebi no yami / Screams in the darkness

Homura entered the morgue with a satisfied smirk on his lips which only widened when he saw Danzou and his ANBU tower over the dark clad body on the floor.

“Is he dead?” Homura asked while correcting his glasses on the bridge of his nose.

“No heartbeat or pulse is to be found sir,” the ANBU with the rat mask told him after rechecking Sasuke´s vitals.

“Good, and the older one?” the head of council asked. “Are you sure he´s really dead? I want to be sure.”

“The same as the other one, sir.”

“What a glorious day it is today,” Homura chuckled. “First I get to order the killing of the second last Uchiha who delivers his brother, who he had killed by his own hands to me… and in addition to that the demon-vessel will be bound to that Haruno girl for the rest of his pitiful life. Say Danzou… do you still have some of that love potion left that you stole from Orochimaru´s lair?”

“I do Homura-sama… but what do you need it for?”

“Well you see… I don´t really think that a demon like that Uzumaki kid could actually be capable of feeling something like love for anyone,” the councilman said evilly. “I like the Haruno girl, she´s very smart and yet so manipulative. I might be able to use her strength against the stubborn Kage if I could make sure that the demon would fuck the girl once in a while… maybe I should just put the brat on a leash”

A low angry growl roamed through the room and made Homura, Danzou and the ROOT frown because they knew that it was neither one of them who would be able to make a noise like that.

“Don´t talk about him like that! Naruto… is mine,” the dark voice hissed. “No one except me will ever be allowed to call him theirs.”

Tsunade felt sick to the bone when she was forced to wed her gaki and Sakura because the female head of council threatened to hurt Shizune and the other people she had sworn to protect. She had already read the woves for Sakura and the pink haired girl had happily answered with ´I do`.

Naruto looked like he was in a battle with himself, as if he wasn´t sure what to do next. The Hokage wanted nothing more than to stop this madness, kill Koharu and slap Sakura so hard that she regained some of her seemingly lost sanity… but she knew that the ROOT was more than willing to kill her and the imprisoned leaf nin as well if any of them tried something… so much for being the leader of a shinobi city.

´Important and safe job my ass, ` she thought angrily. ´When it comes down to something like this then I have no power at all.`

´I wouldn´t be fast or strong enough to free and protect then all at once, ` she thought sadly before she shook her head in defeat.

“Uzumaki Naruto, will you accept this woman on your right. Will you love her, honor and respect her from this day forth?”

“…” The blonde looked at the Hokage as if he hadn´t heard a single word she had just said.

´That´s only understandable in his shitty situation,` Tsunade thought sadly. ´To hear that the one you truly love, even if it is another man, has been killed and that you have to marry someone you consider as your sister… who wouldn´t be a little bit shocked?`

Naruto then turned his attention to Sakura who smiled at him and then at Koharu who just smirked at Tsunade.

´This old woman… she is thrilled that Baa-chan can´t do anything to stop this… what a bitch. But am I really willing to kill Sakura to be free from this marriage? I don´t want to marry her… I don´t love her… but to kill her. But what other option do I have… if only Sasuke and Itachi were here, they would know what to do. `

Homura hid behind Danzou when Sasuke rose from the floor with a seriously pissed look on his face.

The ROOT nin attacked him after they had wasted a few seconds of being scared shitless. Sasuke glared evilly at them before he grabbed one of the ANBU and buried his fist in the poor soul’s ribcage in one fluid move.

The other ANBU was seemingly used to violence like this since they continued to attack Sasuke who freed his hand from the corpse and licked the blood off his fingers while dodging his attackers with ease.

With each lick of blood he became faster and stronger. He knew that the ROOT didn´t stand a chance against him… and yet he decided it was about time to bring on the guest of honor.

“Oi aniki. How long are you going to be a lazy ass and pretend to be dead?” Sasuke hissed.

“Hn. I thought you wanted to have all the fun without me Otouto,” Itachi chuckled darkly before he sat up and stretched his arms above his head.

“U-Uchiha I-Itachi? B-But you’re supposed to be dead?” Homura stuttered from behind Danzou.

“Maybe I already am?”

“Aniki! The Dobe is in trouble. I will take out the ANBU and then you can do whatever you want with those two,” Sasuke hissed. He grabbed two of the ANBU, broke the neck of the first while biting down on the other ones jugular, feeding greedily on his blood.

“I can take it from here little brother,” Itachi chuckled evilly. “Go save your Dobe.”

“Hn,” Sasuke voiced with a smirk. “Have fun.” And with that Sasuke was gone.

“You too otouto,” Itachi chuckled darkly before he was attacked by the remaining ROOT nin.

Homura and Danzou felt their skin crawl in horror when they heard the strangles screams and pleads for mercy from their as Itachi made sure to break a few bones of each of his victims before he slashed their throats and feasted on their blood till their bleed dry.

“So… what did you say about our clan again? What was is… we were all a bunch of traitorous whelps?” Itachi asked while licking the blood off his lips and fingers. “Well you see Homura-san, the Uchihas´ would never have ended up like this if it wasn´t for you and your kind who restricted our clan to stay inside the compound and forbid us to take on other jobs that that of a police officer or a shinobi. All high risk jobs, don’t you agree Danzou-san?”

“Uchiha-san?”

“Ma ma it’s too soon to be begging yet Homura-san,” Itachi chuckled darkly. “I might never have had much love for my father… he was a cold hearted ass anyway and always way to strict towards Sasuke and me… but Shisui on the other hand was my best friend and the closest thing to an older brother I have ever had. I loved him… All he wanted was to help me to get free from Madara´s darkness… and you… you killed him.”

“W-What are you going to do to us?” Danzou asked.

“… Hmmm you I don´t really have a problem with… though you did order the kill on my brother and you are willing help a pig like Homura, Danzou-san. You death will be somewhat quick,” The Uchiha said coldly.

“Homura… your end is a different matter. Say why don´t I show you my newest jutsu… it’s called ´Shisha no Koe`.”

At the Hokage office:

Naruto let out a deep sigh and looked at the smiling girl next to him.

“Sakura-chan… are you sure that this is what you really want,” he asked, trying to give her a chance to stop this before it turned bloody. “I know that you think that we were dating before Sasuke returned… but I never really looked upon it like that… it was more like a friendly dinner. Are you even sure that you like the real me?”

“I love you from the pit of my stomach,” Sakura said while grabbing onto his hands. “That is all I need to know.”

“…” He stared at her wide eyed. “That is nice but not really a reason to marry someone against their will by threatening to hurt their friends.”

“Naruto I want to bear your children. I want us to be a family… isn´t that what you always wanted too?”

“I have longed for a lot of things in my past Sakura but that doesn´t mean that I succeeded in fulfilling those wishes. I used to want to have kids… but I don´t anymore.”

“Well don´t be silly love. Once we´re married and we have shared a wonderful night of love you´ll see that you want children just as much as I do. It´ll be perfect; you, me and 3 or 4 cute kids.”

Naruto´s felt an unpleasant shiver run down his spine at her words. Just the thought of being forced to have sex with her… oh no… the old bitch wasn´t going to be there to make sure that he… ewww no he didn´t want to go there.

“… And once you hold our firstborn son or daughter in your arms you will realize how happy we are together.”

“… But I´m not into girls,” he blurted out when he couldn´t stand to listen to her rant about her imaginary life of sheer happiness with him.

“…” The pink haired girl was suddenly very quiet. “Well then I´ll just have to straighten you out again,” she told him with a harsh voice while Koharu drew a kunai and held the weapon against Tsunade´s neck.

“Continue with the ceremony!” the old bitch eh councilwoman ordered while pressing the weapon against the skin, breaking it. A small red line appeared on the Kage´s tanned skin and a single tear of blood ran down towards the ample chest.

Naruto could hear Tsunade´s heartbeat inside his head. The rhythm made him dizzy along with the scent of the coppery blood which found its way to his nostrils. He had to leave soon or he would surely burry his fangs in the closest neck he would stumble across… even if it was Sakura´s.

“Don´t touch her!” he growled with a predatory voice that made everyone stare at him in surprise and raising fear. He was a Jinchuuriki and a damn strong one too… they would be in deep shit if he decided to release the poisonous chakra of the demon in here.

“Then accept Sakura to be your wife!” Koharu hissed.

“That will only happen over my dead body!” A pissed off Uchiha spit after he knocked down the thick oak door with a single kick. “Naruto´s ass is mine and you, you annoying bitch can´t have him!”

Itachi flashed his long white fangs proudly and took a step forward. The last remaining ROOT ANBU made a poor attempt to protect his boss and became the Uchiha´s next meal.

“Hn too much garlic,” he sighed before he dropped the limp body to the ground after making sure that none of the ROOT nin would ever get up again.

“W-What are you?” Danzou hissed. He drew a kunai and took a defensive stand, willing to sacrifice his life to protect Homura.

“I´m what you would call a creature of the night… a devil even.”

“You are a vampire,” Homura growled while pointing an angry finger at the Uchiha who was licking the crimson blood from his victims off his lips.

“Well yes I am,” Itachi said while looking straight at the old man with the glasses. “How did you know that term?”

“…”

“Tell me old man,” the Uchiha growled, displeased with the old farts silence.

“Tell me or I´ll make you,” the frown on Itachi´s face turned into an evil smirk and he liked the idea of torturing the old man before killing him.

It would be fun to break him… and perhaps he would be able to learn something interesting as a bonus.

“Sasuke,” Naruto sighed in relief when he saw that his bastard was alright… pissed, but alive and well. “They told me that they tried to kill you. I knew that they wouldn´t succeed… I could feel that you were fine.”

“They tried and failed Dobe,” the Uchiha smirked at his lover.

Naruto intercepted one of the four ANBU who were running towards Sasuke. He grabbed the masked nin by the neck and decided that enough was enough. He had restrained himself longer than expected and decided to give in to the temptation.

He sunk his fangs into the ROOT´s neck, breaking the nin´s smooth skin. His mouth was flooded with the warm blood before he allowed it to run down his throat, filling his body with strength and warmth.

Sasuke smirked widely when he saw the badly hidden horror in the hesitant way that the suddenly ANBU moved. They had stopped their attack when the blonde had caught their companion and were moving as far away from Naruto as possible now that he had bitten their friend.

“Good that poison doesn´t work against us anymore. All I had to do was to fake my death to make the little shithead of a leader of the council to stick his head out and brag about his victory over my clan and your forced future with that… that annoying human.” He pointed at a shocked Sakura who was unable to move or speak after seeing a new horrific side of the man she wanted to marry.

The team of ANBU in the Hokage´s office had been among the misfortunate teams who had stormed the Uchiha compound earlier that month… and who had survived a meeting with one vampire already (Sasuke). Neither of them looked especially interested in repeating that experience and turned to leave as fast as their feet let them.

“You cowards!” Koharu hissed. “I will make sure that y-” She was unable to finish her sentence because a kunai was rammed into her throat with incredible strength.

“You will do nothing anymore you old bitch!” Tsunade spat before she stepped away from the dying Koharu. The old woman grabbed onto Tsunade´s belt to be able to stand upright.

A gurgling scream escaped her throat when she dropped to her knees, staring at Tsunade in disbelief and horror.

“There is only one punishment for threatening a Kage on his or her life,” the blonde Hokage hissed in disgust while prying the other woman’s fingers of her. “And that is death!”

“And you!” Tsunade growled evilly while pointing at the three remaining ROOT. “If you want to live through the night you better leave now and report to Ibiki first thing in the morning. And make no mistake by thinking that you can escape or hide… I will find you and then you will be really sorry for ever being born!”

The three ROOT nin looked at each other before they looked at the angry Kage. They bowed deeply while apologizing and then they left instantly. Sakura was sitting on the floor, not really getting what was going on. She had gone into a state of near shock at what her Naruto had done to that ANBU.

“What the fuck happened to you gaki?” Tsunade asked after she healed the cut on her throat and wiped away the blood. She wasn´t afraid of either of them since she knew that Naruto wouldn´t allow anyone to hurt her, but she still wasn´t fond of the hungry look in Naruto and Sasuke´s eyes and the fact that they both seemed to focus on the cut.

“Sasuke saved me from certain death… but cures like that dosen´t come without a price,” the blonde nin told her. Both he and the Uchiha had turned their attention away from Tsunade and were now glaring at a confused Sakura.

Itachi was going through his options. There were so many ways to get the head of council to tell him what he wanted to hear… and he found it rather difficult to choose.

He wanted to use the ´Shisha no Koe` because he knew from experience just how evil and painful that jutsu was. It was impressive that Sasuke had come up with something like this… Well the kid was a genius too after all… and he had a good taste in lover as well.

Itachi didn´t want to use the ´Shisha no Koe` right away because it would shorten his fun… but what else would be best to begin with?

A genjutsu? Nah… The Uchihas were known for their genjutsu traps… it was getting boring and a cliché.

How about a jutsu like the ´Shikumi no Jutsu` and let the old idiot see his own death before the real horror began?

Or what if he chose the ´Kanashibari no Jutsu`. It would surely be fun to torture the man with his new sharp nails while Homura was fully paralyzed… but still capable of feeling and screaming in pain… but unable to do anything to stop the slow torture. Yes that would surely do the trick and get him the information he wanted.

Itachi suddenly felt a stinging pain in his chest and looked down at the kunai that was buried deeply in his chest – Normally it would be a fatal hit since it was a stab right in his heart.
His dark eyes bleed red and an annoyed growl scattered the silence.

“How dare you disturb me when I´m thinking of the perfect way to torture the piece of shit you are trying to protect?” he hissed at Danzou while pulling the kunai out of his chest at an agonizing slow speed, which made the two older men shudder in disbelief and fear. “I hate to be interrupted when I´m planning something that will amuse me.”

“… Y-You monster!” Danzou spit while trying to step around Itachi and get to the exit without the missing nin noticing.

“Thank you very much Danzou-san,” the Uchiha smirked while cutting off their only escape route. “Do you know what I have just realized?”

“N-No?” Danzou answered.

“You are of no importance to me since you have no crucial information for me. You are just in my way.”

“W-Wha… but… no I…” Danzou never got a chance to plead for his life because Itachi snapped his neck with so much force that the head nearly came off.

“Well that leaves only one more for me to have fun with heh heh,” Itachi chuckled evilly while he approached the incredible pale and violently trembling Homura.
