Chapter 17: No sex for nine months?

“Congratulations… you’ll be having twins!” The pink-haired woman said with a reddening face. Sasuke had seemingly convinced Naruto to use the Sexy no jutsu, had sex with Naruto when was a girl and managed to knock him up with twins doing so.

Sakura didn’t know what to think, she had somehow come to terms with them being together… having a family… twins. She felt happy and confused at the same time.
“… Tw… twins?” the raven-haired stuttered. He suddenly felt very strange; his knees were shaking and his head was spinning.

“Kakashi!” the medic yelled as she saw Sasuke´s knees betray him. Kakashi was aware of the situation and was already standing next to the pale man, catching him before he hit the hard floor. The silver-haired nin scoped the young man up into his arms and placed him next to a stunned blonde on the bed.

“We’re having… twins… as in two kids?” The blonde asked as he wrapped an arm around the confused and slightly trembling Uchiha next to him and ran his free hand through his lover’s black hair.

“Yes,” she sighed deeply as she leaned back into her chair. Naruto was taking this surprisingly well, and Sasuke… well she couldn’t really blame him. To hear that you boyfriend isn’t sick but pregnant and with twins… well who wouldn’t have difficulties to breathe?

“… Um… will that change anything…? I mean with the birth and stuff?” the blonde asked in slight concern, still distractedly playing lightly with Sasuke´s hair. The Sound leader was giving his blonde lover a surprised glare. Why could he be so calm and focused after news like that?

“You can still choose if you want to do a natural birth or the operation. You will have to make sure that you’ll get enough vitamins and minerals to support the best growth of your babies, which means no ramen!” Sakura said in a firm tone.

“NO! You can’t be serious! I’ll die if I can’t have my ramen!” The blonde cried and turned to look at Sasuke.

“There’s just not enough nutrients in ramen, Baka!” She resisted the urge to hit him on the head. “You can still enjoy a bowl from time to time… but you really need to eat properly!”

“What should he be eating? Are there any things he can’t have?” Sasuke asked as he regained full control over his emotions… He was an Uchiha after all!

“He needs healthy meals which is good for both mother… eh sorry!” she chuckled. “And babies… that means a healthy amount of rich fish like salmon, mackerel, herring and others like it…and preferably three times a week… not raw though, so no sushi!” She noticed that Sasuke was memorizing her advice as he nodded at her.

“You should stay clear of coffee, too much tea and alcohol… Do you take any medication?”
“… No, I don´t take any medication, I don´t like coffee and I seldom drink alcohol… I prefer water. I´m very healthy, Sakura-chan! Besides that, I have Kyuubi… she looks after me!” Naruto said, still a bit upset about the prospect of almost eight month with only little or no ramen at all.

“Then he should eat fruits, leguminous fruit. He should also have a lot of vegetables which should be cooked. ginger, raspberries and black currants, which prevents pregnancy poisoning. He should of course drink a lot of milk as well as vitamins and minerals… I’ll write down the names of the different products for you.”

“Thank you, Sakura-chan! I’ll be sure that he eats properly.” Sasuke gave the blonde a smirk as he saw the fox’s pouting face.

“Not fair, Sasuke… You know I hate that green stuff!”

“I know, Dobe, but I want to keep both you and our kids healthy!” Sasuke felt a bit strange as he said that… Their kids… Yes, Naruto´s and his children.

“So what do you think of the new Otogakure, Gaara?” The blonde woman asked as she led the Kazekage into the small ramen stand.

“I like what see better and better,” the redhead said with a faint blush as he entered the small but comfortable restaurant. Kira didn’t seem to notice the change of color on his cheeks as she kept on smiling at him. She led him to the counter with a warm smile and greeted the owner.

“Hi, Tetsuha-san!” She sat down on the stool directly at the counter and motioned for Gaara to sit next to her.

“G´day, Kira-chan… isn’t Lady Sarah with you today? I would never have imagined that a girl like her could love ramen that much!” the white-haired cook grinned.

“Nah… she’s not feeling to well today, so she’s resting a bit. This is my new friend Gaara, by the way… He’s a good friend of Sarah’s and very hungry!”

“Nice to meet you, Gaara-san. Friends of Kira-chan and Lady Sarah are friends of mine as well… Know what?” Tetsuha grinned, “because of that and because it’s the Otokage´s birthday, I’ll treat you to a Sarah Special, on the house!” he returned to the back of the kitchen and left them alone.

“… Lady Sarah?” the redhead asked while raising an invisible brow at the blonde woman.
“You know that Naruto-kun is using the Oriko no jutsu to hide his presence here, right?” Her deep blue eyes locked onto Gaara’s pale blue ones. Her intense gaze took his breath away… this girl was making his chest feel strange… a lot like the feeling he had when he was with Naruto.

“Yeah!” he managed to say with a somewhat firm and steady voice.
“Sarah is Naruto´s alias. He turns into Sarah when ever he wants to leave Sasuke-sama´s apartment.”

“Clever!” the Kazekage had to admit. Naruto and Sasuke had thought about everything… which meant that they were serious about their relationship. Gaara wasn’t pleased about the fact that Naruto had to disguise himself… but he also knew that it was a necessity if he wanted to stay with the Uchiha for now.

“Yeah… he dragged me here so often that I began to like ramen so much that I come here almost every day… and usually Sarah comes along with me!” She grinned at him.
“… What’s a Sarah special then?” Gaara asked out of curiosity.

“Well… it’s a mix of BBQ ramen and-“ Kira was cut of by the white-haired owner, who returned with two steaming bowls of ramen.

“Curry flavored chicken! It´s may sound like a strange mix up but it’s very tasty. It´s Lady Sarah’s recipe! Here try it!” Tetsuha put down the food in front of them.

“It’s really good!” she said as she saw the hesitant look in his pale eyes. Kira spilt the chopsticks and rolled them against each other between her hands before she dug into the steaming ramen.

“…” He tilted his head as he saw her slurped down the noodles.

“So… how did you get to know Sasuke-sama and Naruto-kun?” she asked as she munched on the noodles with a delighted face.

“He beat the crap out of me when I attacked his friends… He said I was just like him and forgave me… He was my first real friend,” Gaara said as he picked up the chopsticks, dug into the ramen and scooped up a few noodles.

“You attacked his friends…? Why?”

“… We were enemies at that point… I was ordered to attack Konoha… and the third Hokage.” There was no need to tell her that Naruto´s friends who he had attacked were Sakura and Sasuke… It would only upset her. It was a thing of the past and Gaara didn’t want this incredible being to dislike him.

“Ah I see!” she replied with a serious tone, giving him a knowing look. The life of a shinobi was never easy… and you couldn’t go easy on your enemies. Fighting and death was a constant threat.

“I didn’t know anything else than death and destruction before I met him… He changed my life… and we have been close… friends ever since.” Gaara took in the scent of the bowl before tasting the food. “Hmmm this really is good!”

“Heh… heh. See, I told ya it tasted good… Naruto changed me as well.” Kira smiled again. “I was really shy and I thought that I was no good… even though Sasuke-sama acknowledged me and tolerated me at his side. Naruto… it’s like he saw right through me… he knew instantly that there was more to me than I showed. We have been good friends since he got here!”

“… He has that effect on people.” The Kage smiled back at her.
“Yeah, so… Gaara, will you be attending to the party this evening?” Her golden tanned cheeks blushed slightly red.

“… I was planning on returning to Suna as soon as I’ve talked to Naruto. Why?”
“Oh!” Her voice sounded a bit disappointed and sad.

“Did I say something wrong, Kira-chan?”

“No… no, it’s just… I would have liked to… see you there.” She stared at her empty bowl.
“Why?” Gaara looked at her with concern. Why was she so sad? Had he hurt her somehow? Was he driving her away?

“… I… I would like to… talk… some more with you, Gaara!”

“You would?” He felt something stir inside his stomach and it wasn’t the tasty food.
“Yeah… do you want to go… there with me?” Big blue orbs looked at him with great intensity.

“… “

“You don´t want to?” Her voice was merely a whisper.

“… No… I mean, yes, I would… like to… go with you… I would be honored.”
“Really?” She looked up at him.

“Yes… it’s just… I´m not used to... People usually avoid me… No one except my siblings or Naruto has ever wanted to spend time with me out of their own free will… It’s new to me.” The redhead felt angry with himself that he had hurt the young woman.

“… but you want to go… right?”

“Yeah!” They smiled at each other.

The white-haired owner grinned at their backs as they left his stand a few minutes later.

“Young love… how wonderful!”

“Damn… the party!” The blonde cried out in sudden realization. He had completely forgotten everything about it.

“Party?” Sakura and Sasuke gave him an annoyed glare at his sudden outburst.
“Well… eh… it is your birthday, Sasuke… Kira and I sorta planned a little party for you.” The fox scratched the back of his neck and grinned nervously.

“I know,” Sasuke said calmly as he crossed his arms above his chest and leaned his head against Naruto´s unclothes shoulder.

“What?! How did you know?” Naruto ruffled Sasuke´s soft hair.
“You suck at lying… always have, always will,” the raven-haired smirked and closed his eyes to rest.

“Hmmm, never mind that… besides Kakashi, Kiba and Sakura-chan are here too-“
“I don´t want a party… I just wanna spend the night with you… mommy!” The smirk on his pale face grew bigger.

“Don´t call me that, teme… I´m not a girl!” The blonde growled in slight annoyance. “Sakura… wanna come to the party with me?”

“… Um sure, Naruto o-nii chan… I’d love to… but no drinking or dancing for you… you are still in a critical period”

“What do you mean?” Sasuke asked the pink-haired medic.

“In the first twelve weeks there are a bigger risk to lose the offspring… the body is adjusting itself to the change of bearing a child, hormones are raging which can show itself in different ways,” the medic explained.

“Like what?” The Uchiha asked with a frowning brow.

“Naruto will very likely feel very tired most of the time and will need to rest and sleep a lot. His hormones will cause him to become moody… so bear over with him, Sasuke!” She gave him a serious glare.

“There is one more thing… the hormonal change will affect Naruto´s… need… for sex.”
“How?” The raven-haired feared the answer, but he had to ask.

“His lust for sex will be almost non existent.”

“WHAT?!!!” both males cried out so loud that Kakashi barged into the room with a worried look.

“What?! Is something wrong?” The copy-nin sounded really worried.

“He’ll refuse to have sex with me for nine month?” Sasuke was ready to strangle the annoying woman.

“Sasuke!” the blonde pocked an elbow into the Uchiha´s ribs for his indiscretion.

“No of course not, Sasuke… just in the first twelve weeks… then it’ll go back to normal as the hormones will become stable as the body will become used to the pregnancy… some even get more… addicted to sex in the thirteenth and twenty-eighth week.”

“Oh” The Uchiha looked at the blonde with a wide smirk which made the blonde frown.

“What are you up to, Sasuke?”

“Well I´m just counting the weeks, sweetie… six weeks and I’ll collect my birthday present from you heh… heh.”

“You are a pervert, Sasuke… I´m going to the party… its starts in an hour anyway!” Naruto glared at his smirking boyfriend with slight irritation.

“As if you couldn’t go a few weeks without sex… you have waited long enough before… perverted bastard,” he mumbled to himself as he grabbed his t-shirt and put it on.

“Sakura, Kakashi-sensei…come on, let’s go to the party… Teme are you coming?”

“Hnnn… It is my party after all, sweetie!” He sighed and crawled out of the bed. There was no fun in lying in bed without the blonde, so he better follow.

Besides that, he would get the opportunity to tell everyone attending that he, the first real Otokage of the hidden city of the Sound and the last remaining Uchiha was gong to become a father… The man he loved more than anything in this world was giving him the greatest of gifts for his twentieth birthday… a family.
