Chapter 16
The pain bloomed through the left side of his face. It was almost welcome but instead, his eyes snapped open not even five seconds after she landed the blow. he was across the cell, body seemingly plastered into the wall but it wasn't. He stood and shook off the feeling in his jaw and stared at his former teammate. She had her back turned and was far enough away from the cell that he couldn't grab onto her. Kiba coughed and his eyes were wide, staring at Naruto. Sakura turned and her eyes went a little wide but she just shook her head and turned, arms crossing over her chest as she went back to guarding.
Three hours later, Aito came back to their cells, Kisame's sword balanced on her head with a box atop it. And she didn't look bothered at all. She stopped by neji and tugged his shirt. he looked down at her. Grasping the box off her head, she opened it and handed Neji a rice cake, then handed one out to Kiba, Lee and even Akamaru. When she stopped at Sakura, the pink haired kunoichi bent down and placed a kiss on her head.
"To what do we owe this pleasure Aito-chan?"
"Just came for another visit. Father isn't home so I snuck out."
"He won't be happy if he finds you gone."
"Maybe not but that hasn't stopped me before."
"One of these days kid, you're going to get into a lot of trouble."
"Neh. he can't stay made at me." She giggled and looked passed her god mother to Naruto who sat in the back of the cell. "AWW! You didn't hit him did you?" Her big, round, black eyes locked onto the bruise he was sporting on his face.
"He tried to attack Lee."
"Be Lee-san's all the way over there!" Sakura patted her head.
"He's fine. Really."
"Good, because I came to visit him. Baa-sama says she wants to see the other two so you guys can bring them in now. I'll be fine here by myself." Sakura hesitated but Aito told her it was an order so she had to obey. Damn it for the kid being her superior. With a sigh, Sakura, Lee, Kiba and Neji gathered up Itatchi and Kisame and brought them to the Hokage.
Naruto stared at her as she came into the cell, set Kisame's sword aside and sat down in front of him. The cell door was still open so he could have escaped at any time. He would have tried if he hadn't been ordered not too before hand. She reached into the box and pulled out the last rice cake there and handed it to him. When he didn't take it, she grabbed one of his hands in one of her tiny ones and set the white ball of rice into his palm. When she retracted her hands, she placed them on her knees and stared at him. If he had to say one thing about her, it was that she was innocent, but by the look in her eyes, she had already seen horrors she should not have seen for years to come.
"He's not here to tell you to eat or not so you'll just have to do something without his say so ne?" She smiled and it reached her eyes. At least it appeared too. But the smile wasn't in her eyes. Whoever taught her to act deserved some kind of award. She was good. Naruto looked to the white cake and then back to her. "I made it myself and I don't know if it's good or not. Father isn't exactly the best cook in the wold and I'm still learning the finer things." Naruto looked to the cake and back to Itatchi's empty cell. Without a word, he brought the cake to his lips and sniffed. Not laced with anything. Taking a small bite, he chewed for a moment. There was a coating on the rice that was slightly tangy and sweet at the same time. "The recipie is from Ichimaru. he says they are the best rice cakes in the world. But, of course he'd say something like that because everyone loves his ramen."
As Aito chatted away at him, he watched her. She was completely at ease but there was no doubt in his mind that if he made any move that suggested escape or the intent to harm, she would stop him. He noticed her white hair was braided down the back and fell nearly to her ankles. Her hair must grow fast.
"...and then I became the Hokage-in-training." He blinked, brought out his thoughts by that statement and looked at her. The what? Really? How...interesting. Actually, there was another word he was thinking of but his brain wouldn't spit it out although he'd figured it out earlier. "I can't actually become the next Hokage until I'm eighteen but it's sooooo far away! I wish i could speed up time just until right before my eighteenth birthday, I mean, honestly! I have to sit here for twelve more years and he-" she stopped and changed the word she was about to say, "heck, I even have to take on a group of chums and train them..." She seemed distraught by the thought of training a team. He couldn't have cared honestly.
"I've got candidates lined up. There's a Hyuuga in the academy right now I would be interested in taking. Oh, and Ino has a kid! I want him too. They have some nifty abilities that family. And I think I want the spawn of Shikamaru. Yup, Temari's pregnant. Oh I can't wait until the baby is born. Don't know if it's a boy or girl but she has mood swings that make baa-sama's look like butter." She laughed at her own joke and he saw Sasuke in that laugh. Naruto looked down to the rice cake in his hand and decided to not let it go to waist like the ramen. He hadn't eaten in days as it was and he needed to heal the bruise on his face before he could be of any use to his group. When she sighed, his attention was again caught by her. Out of her tiny, pink kimono, she pilled out a senbon needle and looked at him.
"You know, I can see what everyone says about you. How you are bright like a ray of sunshine but...it's hidden now. Veiled." She looked to the needle and watched it play between her fingers like a coin might. "I guess everyone deserves a second chance. After all, Father got one." She reached over and proceeded to pick his chakra binder. "Ibiki wouldn't give me the key so I stole one of Genma-san's senbons. he won't miss it. He's got a ton already." When the lock snapped, he stared at her and watched as she threw the binder away and stood. She grabbed up Kisame's sword and stopped, but didn't turn, at the cell door. "Don't make me regret what I just did. If you hurt anyone, you won't make it back here before I get my hands on you." And she left. The door was still wide open.
And he sat there for a good while before standing. Well, no time like the present to free his group and get moving. Only, when he got to where they were being kept, Tsunade stared at him, then looked to his arm and cursed. Itatchi looked over to him and without saying a word, naruto walked over to him. No one else was in the room, other than Kisame, but he knew there were ANBU hidden all around the room, in the walls, floor and ceiling. Naruto sank to his knees in front of Itatchi and looked into black, pitless eyes. itatchi brought up a pale hand and grabbed his chin. He watched as Itatchi's eyes swirled and then, they were standing together in his mind.
"Go. You have served your time with me and now, I will fulfill my end of the bargain." He went to speak but Itatchi held up a hand. he stopped what he was about to say. "Kisame and I will be leaving tonight. You know how to reach me should you need my help." Naruto nodded and then, they were back in the interrogation room. Naruto felt dizzy but he could smell blood. That was because he was bleeding. His arms were around Itatchi's waist, holding the smaller man close to him. The blood was coming from his arms where he saw cuts. Cuts from nails. Looking to his right, he noticed Tsunade standing there, breath coming out quickly. He must have thrown her away when her nails broke skin. Oh well.
With a last look to Itatchi, Naruto stepped away, letting his arms fall, and bowed. Itatchi's hand came to the blood on one of his arms and his fingers dug into one of the cuts. Naruto inwardly shuttered and thank the gods above he was wearing big pants or he might have announced to the world his current problem. Naruto stood, turned and started for the door once Itatchi's hand fell away from his arm. Kisame stopped him.
"Get my sword back from that kick ball would you? It would be hell to have to get another one." Naruto just stared at him and left the room.
"What did you do to him Uchiha?" Itatchi just shrugged and held out his arm. Tsunade growled and walked over, removing the chakra binder. he rubbed his arm and waited. Kisame was next.
"We will be in touch."
"You better, or you'll be getting a visit from the four foot kick ball." Itatchi and Kisame left the prison via plumes of smoke and Tsunade was left to her own devices which consisted of beating on the walls. When Ibiki came back and found her knuckles bleeding he just shook his head at her and she walked out of the prison. Hokage's above this did not bode well for anyone.
The blond wandered around the village, hands shoved into the pockets of the pants he'd been given at the prison. Nothing had changed. People still looked at his with hate and this time around, he honestly didn't care. He looked on them all with dead eyes, without emotion. It scared them enough that they looked away. Some people stopped him, shinobi, to talk, ask him where he'd been, how he got around to getting all charges dropped, not that he had, but he said nothing, ignored them all. When he came to the one place in the whole village that he felt a pang for, he sat down and looked at the brick building, swinging. He may have felt a very small, almost non-existent pang but the memories flashed through his mind and he closed his eyes, turning his face up to the wind, and watched them all the way through. It was no wonder he didn't like coming back to this village sometimes.
A bell rang off in the distance and he watched as kids ran out hooting and hollering that the day was over. Parents came to collect them and some walked off in pairs. A familiar face came into view but the person hadn't noticed him. he didn't make any move to gain the an's attention. In fact, he stayed stock still, watching the man weave through the crowed of children. He was laughing but there was something in his eyes. And then those eyes met his. He stopped and stared, the man. Then he was practically running over to the swing. Naruto stood and when the man was blocked from view by a parent, Naruto vanished.
Iruka stood at the swing, watching it glide in the wind and felt anger and sadness well up inside of him. he cursed, something fruitful, and stomped away, hands balled into fists. What he wouldn't give to beat sense back into the blond. But, Naruto was an adult now, twenty-three to be exact. There was no beating sense into him. He walked to the ramen stand, sat down and ordered a bowel of veggitable ramen. It was just as he was about to dig in when someone joined him. he looked over and nearly choked. Naruto. Patting his chest so the food would go down, he watched as Naruto ordered a bowel of ramen, ignoring Ichimaru's warm welcome back and not saying a word, then those blue eyes turned to him. Iruka had the need to reach out and touch Naruto's face but just fisted his hand and turned back to his ramen, taking another bite.
"She is big." Iruka heard Naruto's voice and thought he was growling but, it seemed while Naruto had been gone, he'd gone through almost another puberty. His voice had just gotten a little deeper, he'd gotten taller and more muscular. he actually looked his age and not like a twelve year old.
"She got that way while you weren't here. Oh wait, you probably knew that." No, he didn't feel like being nice. He was allowed to be stark raving mad and he was going to be. After five years his temper about what Naruto had done still hadn't cooled off. Kakashi had discovered any mention of Naruto when Iruka hadn't brought up the topic quickly got him locked outside of the apartment. After the third time, Kakashi never mentioned Naruto. Now, it would be all he talked about. And Iruka didn't want to hear it.
After he finished his bowel, he threw down the money for it and turned to leave. He was stopped when a strong hand caught his wrist and wouldn't let go.
"If I could feel, I would apologize." Then, he stumbled when Naruto suddenly let go.
"If you could feel, you wouldn't have left Uzumaki-san." And with that, Iruka left. Naruto closed his eyes and just sat there, in the ramen booth and thought over the small conversation. Iruka was mad, that much was obvious. But, as he said, if he could feel, he would apologize. During his time with Itatchi, he'd forgotten the very reason he'd left the village. he didn't have time to think or feel. No time to remember. Even now he had no time. He had a child to find and all he could think about was challenging the other to a battle to see who was better. it would be unfair because he was so much older, so much stronger and had the help of a demon inside of him. He would slaughter her before the fight even began. Setting money down for his untouched ramen, he stood and left the booth. His next destination was the Hokage tower. He had business he needed to attend to, then he could leave. Again. But this time, he would never come back.
He wasn't needed.
Or that's what he kept telling himself.
Tsunade was sitting at her desk, briefing some chounin on a mission when there wasa knock. Izumo popped in to announce Naruto was there. She growled out a curse, finished what she was saying and dismissed the shinobi in her office. When Naruto was shown in, she watched him stand in front of her desk, eyes down cast to the floor.
"What?"
"We have business."
"Not yet we don't. Get a room at the hotel."
"Business first." He looked up then and didn't look away from her eyes. "At this moment orochimaru had settled back in Wind Country and is currently in an old lair. If we move now and strike quickly, we can get in and out without any casualties."
"And how do you propose to do that? All available shinobi I have are currently dispatched."
"Neji, Sakura, Lee and Kiba weren't just an hour ago. I will take them."
"You won't be taking anyone. Leave."
"We have business." By now, he would have been giving an annoying voice, whining and telling her they needed to continue but instead, he was utterly relaxed standing in front of her, face emotionless.
"What has he done to you Naruto?"
"Nothing I didn't enter into willingly. Now," he walked over to one of her many maps posted on the walls and looked over it, then started pointing. He read it like a pro and started pointing and explaining things to her. When he was finished, she stared at him and the feeling the old Naruto was gone had come back full force.
"What have you been doing the last five years? No word? Nothing to let us know you were alive?" He stared at her.
"What I did while out of this village is of my concern, not yours. If I wanted you to know what I did while on my own, I would have told you while locked up. When do we move out?"
"You move out when I get available shinobi, ones that won't be sick looking at you." She stood and pointed to the door. "Get out of my office. I have other business." He simply turned on his heel and left, closing the door quietly behind him. She sighed, sat down and steepled her hands in front of her, staring at the closed door. She was already plotting on how to get him back to normal.
The mission scroll came and he was reading it. When he cursed and burned it, two black, round, big eyes stared at him, having come up from the book she was reading. She just walked over and crawled into his lap and handed him the book. he took it from her and started where she pointed. This had become a regular thing. Them reading together. When neither of them were on missions, they spent a lot of time together. Just him and her. He knew she felt lost and empty because he felt it as well. And now Naruto was back. Their life was interrupted again but this time, instead of someone being taken, someone was returning. And it wasn't a happy reunion. It was a bitter one.
He was so different. So changed. When Sasuke was brought back to himself he realized he'd stopped reading. Aito was just sitting on his lap looking up at him. Patting her head, he looked to the window. It was early evening. he'd have to go out and find the dumb blond. Damn that woman. He was staying in this house. The house he'd left, no, abandoned. Even though he shouldn't have been, Sasuke was bristling. naruto and he didn't have a relationship passed former teammates, best friends, rivals and the occasional kiss on his part and he shouldn't be feeling like this but he was. And it was bothersome.
"Father?"
"Hn?"
"What did it say?" he looked down to her.
"He's staying here."
"YAY!" Genuine happiness shown through her face as she jumped off his lap and started dancing around. Sometimes she really was just a kid. he liked those times. he'd promised himself he would give her the childhood he'd never had but she'd taken to his brother's footsteps. And she was damn good at her job. Six years old and jounin. Better than Itatchi. But he wanted her to be a kid, not a shinobi. Not yet. No matter how much he tried, she just wouldn't quit. She told him countless times that the better she got the faster she could find her da and Hikime and everything would be better. She had Naruto's determination and hope even though his blood didn't run through her system. With an inward frown, he stood and walked to the door, slipping on his shoes. She came running up to him and slipped into her sandals.
"Stay."
"AWWW!!! Come on! I want to go too!!!"
"No." Then she gave him 'the look'. He actually slapped himself in the forehead and looked back at her. "Fine! Put on some pants and a sweater. It's cold." She squealed and ran to her room. he knew he'd regret this later and he tried not to spoil her because Sakura and the gang did enough of that but it was impossible not too.
When she came back down, they left. She sat on his shoulders, elbows resting against his head as they walked through the village trying to find Naruto. he was nearly impossible to find, that was until they hit one part of the slums. Aito had fallen asleep by this time, it being passed her bed time so Sasuke was holding her piggy back, her little hands fisted in his shirt to hold on. he walked around and when he walked passed one of the bars, the blond he was looking for came flying out the doors. He landed in a crouch and stood. Aito jumped awake and was alert in seconds. Jumping off his back, she looked from naruto to the bar. Sasuke was keeping an eye on the blond.
"What the crap?!" She looked to the bar and noticed the guys coming out. They weren't shinobi but they looked tough. She sighed and slapped herself in the forehead. "Go back inside before you all get hurt." They looked at her and laughed. Sasuke quirked a brow and turned around. Naruto walked to his side and watched.
"He played grabby hands. He's getting a what for."
"You do know that he is a shinobi right?"
"That punk? No way. And what are you doing out of bed little girl? Don't you know what time it is? Where's your mommy? Or your daddy?"
"My fathers are standing behind me. And before you continue to dig a grave for yourself, turn around and go back inside. Now."
"Mighty big words for such a runt. Where'd you learn to talk like that?" Aito shrugged.
"My daddy taught me pee-brain."
"Why you! I'mma give you an ass whopping you won't ever forget!"
"You and what army?" She put her little hands on her hips and raised a brow at them.
"This army." Five guys big enough to make her look like a shrimp stepped forward and she sighed, hands moving to rub her temples.
"You know, I was perfectly comfortable riding around on my Father's back and you just had to go and ruin it. Well, let me ruin your face and be done with it." They didn't talk but attacked. Aito murmured something and formed a seal. They were stopped in their tracks, cursing like hell and staring at her like she was some sort of monster. "Now, let me give you a what for." She ran at them and used their bodies as spring boards. When she got high enough, she punched and kicked then used the first man's body as a launch to get to the second and then, when they were all unconscious, the walked back to Sasuke, rubbing the back of her neck and looked between him and Naruto. The blond stared at her, like he was studying her or something. She just shook her head and crawled up to Sasuke's back, laid her head down and went back to sleep.
"The Hokage says you are to stay at the compound." Sasuke turned and started back for a more respectable part of town. Naruto had been expecting a question as to what he was doing here but he got nothing. Get what you give. They walked in silence back to the compound where Sasuke put Aito to bed. Naruto stayed in the living room. After making himself comfortable on the floor, he stared at the ceiling. He wouldn't sleep. It just wasn't possible. When Sasuke came back down the stairs and saw him on the floor, the Uchiha quirked a brow at him.
"There is a room made for you." Naruto didn't move and didn't say anything. His not moving said enough. "Breakfast is at eight." Sasuke turned and headed back to the stairs. The lights turned off one by one and when he was left in the dark, he stared out the window. The stars were out. He could see them over the trees. The only thing he liked about not being in the village was the amount he saw out in the open. At least when he wasn't knocked or passed out.
Rolling to his side, he tried to relax utterly, trying to find a place of calm enough for him to try and rest at least but he couldn't. With an inward frown, he stood and left the compound. He moved through the village undetected and then out, into the trees. When he reached a clearing north of the Valley of the End, he let his chakra flare a little, threading it through the ground. When he found what he was looking for, he walked over and bent down and proceeded to wait. And wait he did. It was two hours before Itatchi showed up. he was alone.
"You let them cut your hair." A pale hand came to his now spiky blond locks and tugged. Naruto got to his feet and stared down at blind eyes. "Why did you summon me?"
"I need to sleep."
"You don't need anything." Naruto looked away at that. Of course he did but he wouldn't say it.
"The bruise is gone, as are the cuts on your arms."
"I ate a bit."
"Hn." Itatchi heard a small intake of breath. he pressed the blade deeper. naruto grasped onto his shoulders to steady himself. Itatchi just let the blade go deeper. Blood was pouring from the wound and he twisted. Naruto shuttered. Itatchi brought the blade away and proceeded to make shallow cuts along his upper arms. When he could smell the blood, he let the blade drop to the ground and ripped naruto's arms away from his shoulders. When the blond started to fight, itatchi dragged his powerful arms behind his back and forced him to the ground. Using chakra, he bound Naruto's wrists at the small of his back and proceeded to strip him naked.
The bindings were tighter than usual. he wouldn't be able to slip free. he felt a sting of slight panic run through his core but it was quickly quelched with the tearing of more flesh. Then, Itatchi's fingers ran gently over the scars on his upper back, then down to the ones covering each ass cheek and lower still to the ones on his thighs. Naruto shuttered and gasped. Itatchi's hand slipped between his thighs and he felt the ring slip free from his cock. Gods above it was good to be free.
Then, before he could move passed the thought of his cock being free, itatchi was shoved to the hilt inside of him and he had a hand over his mouth to stop the scream that bubbled out of his throat. Pain ripped through him along with a pleasure so perverted he actually felt ashamed of it. This was the only time he felt. The only time he felt pain and didn't react. he couldn't react because he was bound. When the hand moved and two fingers were shoved into his mouth, he sucked them, played them around in his mouth and then he was slapped, hard. he stopped, spread his legs farther apart and pressed against Itatchi.
The Uchiha just watched the blond under him. It had taken a while to get him like this. To make him submissive. To break him. Three years. He'd started to believe that Uzumaki Naruto was unbreakable but, just when he thought he might give up, he'd been surprised when Naruto had given in. Then, it got to the point that Naruto couldn't sleep without it, the pain. The release. That's how Itatchi knew Naruto would never be without him. This was ingrained into his very being now and he was the only one who could give it to the blond. And he did enjoy giving it.
When finger nails dug into his back, Naruto bit his lip and pressed his forehead to the grass under him. The cold was nipping his skin but he barely registered it. "I-Itatchi..." his voice was nearly breathless. "Move." Itatchi just leaned over his ear and licked along the shell of it. "Please, gods above, move. Give it to me."
"Give you what?"
"Peace." Then, he moved. Naruto groaned, eyes closing. Itatchi moved hard, hands digging into his hips. He knew there would be bloody nail marks in the morning and until he ate, they would stay there but he couldn't care. When he was turned around, he stared at Itatchi's face. It came closer and closer until they were kissing, hard. Then his lips was bitten and his hissed, body arching up. Itatchi just licked up the blood and hummed against his mouth.
The Uchiha pulled one of Naruto's legs over his shoulder and turned a little to the left, thrusting in with a vengeance. Naruto cried out, eyes rolling back and Itatchi continued to thrust in forcefully. He was always so tight, healing the damage done to him within a few days. naruto's body squeezed him, milking him. The body under him was amazing and he closed his eyes, feeling Naruto as he fucked the blond into the ground relentlessly. He knew Naruto looked promising so many years ago but he had never thought he would be such a star pupil. And then he was gasping for air, trying to speak. Itatchi looked back at him and his hand moved down to pinch one of Naruto's nipples. His nail dug in and naruto's back arched. He screamed out his release with Itatchi's name falling from full lips. But Itatchi didn't stop, and Naruto came again and again.
By the time Itatchi had finally let himself go, Naruto was nearly passed out. Grabbing up the sickly orange shirt the blond had been given in the prison, he cleaned himself off then Naruto. Normally Naruto was awake enough to do the cleaning but tonight, he'd be granted a reprieve. After pulling Naruto into his pants, itatchi picked up the blond and transported himself to the Uchiha compound. It had been a long time since he'd stepped foot inside the house his family had occupied so many years ago. But, as he strode to his old room, he couldn't say he cared they were all gone. It furthered his plans at the time to have them dead and he never regretted it. There was nothing to regret about their uselessness. he simply killed them all.
When Naruto was tucked under the blankets that seemed to have accumulated a bit of dust, Itatchi looked around. Things had been moved, cleaned out. Nothing of his remained in this room. Apparently it had been cleaned in preparation for the twins. With a small turn of his head, he noted a presence behind him. Sasuke. Of course. As his brother stepped from the shadows and looked over Naruto's arms, since they were on top of the blanket, he looked back to Itatchi.
"What did you do to him?"
"Hn." Itatchi turned and walked to the door. He was stopped by a hand. With a small flick of his wrist, Sasuke was sent across the room to land in a quiet crouch.
"My daughter is sleeping if you don't mind." Itatchi said nothing but quietly left the sleeping blond and proceeded down the hall. Nothing had changed except for the cleanliness of the house. Sasuke was hot on his heels and he had half a mind to turn and flick his younger brother between the eyes and tell him to stop being an idiot weakling but he registered another presence and knew his niece was somewhere behind them. "You turned him into a monster."
"No, he simply has no emotions. Emotions are a weakness and now, he has none."
"Except the need to come to you."
"He comes to me because you cannot give him what he needs to matter how much you might wish it. You should know Sasuke, you cannot see to anyones needs adequately otherwise you would have saved your parents that night." Just as he thought, Sasuke took the bait and launched an attack at him. He ducked and simply released his chakra at the younger Uchiha. Sasuke side stepped and sent a kunai at his head then growled and launched at him again.
"He is mine Itatchi!"
"You didn't think that when you left him to die in the Valley now did you?"
"How did-" Sasuke faltered in his steps and was thrown against the wall face first, arm twisted painfully behind his back.
"You are always being watched Sasuke. You are watched in case you become a real threat and if you ever did manage to become a threat to me, you would be challenged and dispatched. I left you alive to have a worthy opponent but you never did get strong enough." A tug on his pant leg made him quirk a brow and look down.
"Let go Uncle." Itatchi looked back to Sasuke who had turned his head to stare down at his daughter.
"Go back to bed. Your Uncle and I have unfinished business." She sighed and grabbed onto Itatchi's wrist and he saw stars explode as she ripped his arm away from Sasuke and tossed him, gently, against the other wall and crossed her arms over her chest.
"What is it with people interrupting my sleep? Can't a girl get any rest around this house?" Turning to her father, she sighed. "Go check on da. Uncle and I have a few things to discuss." Sasuke stammered but she turned away. he simply walked over and plucked her off the ground, gave her two hard wallops on the ass and pushed her towards her room.
"Now." She sniffled and rubbed her butt but proceeded to walk in the direction of what Itatchi thought was her room. She wasn't seen or heard from after that. "Stay away from him Itatchi."
"If I do, you will not find your other daughter and Naruto will leave you again, permanently."
"He wouldn't leave again. Not when he's come home."
"Are you so sure of that Sasuke? he does not feel. he has no attachments here. he is back simply because he made a promise to you and I made a bargain with him. Once Hikime is found, he will leave again. Unless I order him to stay."
"What is he, your slave?"
"Hn."
"You broke him."
"It was fun." He turned and started back down the hall way. Sasuke watched him walk a few paces before he spoke up again.
"I will get him back Itatchi. And then I will kill you."
"My niece has a better head start than you will ever get Sasuke. She does, after all, take after the best of us." And with that, he vanished. Sasuke stared at the spot where his brother had been standing and hit his fist against the wall closest to him. bested again, and this time in front of his child. He would not stand for it. Once Hikime was back, he would kill his brother, free naruto from whatever was holding him and all would be right. But first, he had to get his daughter.
