**Time Skip, 3 weeks**

Naruto woke to the smell of food. Usually he wouldn’t mind the smell of breakfast in the morning, but on that particular day, his stomach didn’t want to have anything to do with it. He tried to quell his nausea as he rolled over and snuggled further into Sasuke’s chest; who in turn wrapped his arms more securely around the blond. Naruto tried to go back to sleep, but the smell of food and the knowledge of what was happening that day prevented him from doing so. He looked up at Sasuke who was still half asleep, and nudged him a bit to wake him up further.

Sasuke opened his eyes completely and found himself with an armful of blond perfection. He smiled lovingly down at Naruto and gave him a kiss on the forehead. “What time is it?” he asked as he tried to look over at the clock.

Naruto turned to look at the digital numbers. “It’s almost eight. I should probably start getting ready to go. I have work afterwards.” Today was Naruto’s first official appointment with Tsunade concerning his pregnancy. He didn’t know what was going to happen but he would hopefully be able to gain more information on everything. He had a lot of new questions that he wanted to ask his OBGYN. Thankfully Sasuke was feeling healthy enough to go with him. He didn’t want Sasuke to stress himself out and risk getting sick again.

Sasuke nodded and released his lover so that he could get out of bed. He watched the blond go into the bathroom and sighed as the door closed. He decided to officially get up when Naruto got out of the shower. He was still a bit tired, and he figured he’d have more strength if he just stayed where he was for a bit.

After the whole pneumonia incident, Sasuke had returned home under strict orders to stay in bed for at least a week. It was lucky that Sasuke had both his brother and Naruto to prevent him from disobeying that order. He hated staying in bed, and for that to be forced on him was not something that he took very well.

His mother had also been coming by the apartment lately to make sure he was still doing alright. He started to understand how other people felt with their mother’s worrying about them all the time and calling every other day. He didn’t know what they were all complaining about though, it wasn’t so bad. Although it could have been that he had been craving that kind of attention from his mother all along, and he was finally starting to get it.

The divorce seemed to be going smoothly, from what Makoto had been telling Sasuke. His father had surprisingly accepted it without too much of a fuss. Sasuke didn’t want to take that at face value though, so he still wanted Makoto to be careful; his father could be a malicious one. He wanted his mother to be cautious just in case his father was scheming something.

His mind came back to the present as Naruto stepped out of the bathroom already dressed. Sasuke didn’t like the fact that Naruto felt so self conscious about his body. He was starting to gain weight, and even though it wasn’t a lot, the blond still felt like he wasn’t as attractive. Of course, Sasuke didn’t think that at all. Naruto was still attractive in his eyes; possibly even more so with the knowledge that he was carrying Sasuke’s baby. It was a fact that in Sasuke’s eyes, no matter what the blond looked like, he would always be the most beautiful thing in the world.

Naruto wandered over to the bed and sat down next to Sasuke. He looked the other boy over, making sure he still looked alright. “How are you feeling?”
He started this habbit of checking Sasuke over after the whole fever scare. He didn’t want Sasuke to wait until the last minute again. So he took it upon himself to make sure to ask Sasuke every day how he was. He knew by now it was probably grating on his lover’s last nerve, but frankly, he really didn’t give a crap.

“I’m alright. How about you; are you nervous?” He knew that he would be if he were in Naruto’s position. He decided to not dwell on Naruto’s many attempts to make sure he was still feeling alright. He figured; why get mad at the blond when he obviously cared about him.

Naruto sighed and stood up again. “I guess; it’s just the fact that I don’t really know what she’s going to do. Are you sure you’re feeling good enough to go?” He was trying to put on a brave face for Sasuke. The fact still remained that he wanted Sasuke to be with him. He would be an even bigger nervous wreck if he had to go alone.

Sasuke nodded and stood up. “I feel a lot better. Even if I was feeling like shit, I’d still go.” He all about knew Naruto’s worries concerning his pregnancy; his lover having told him his worries the other day. Sasuke wanted to be supportive of his lover any chance he could get. Going to the doctor visits was one thing that Sasuke made sure he didn’t miss.

He decided not to argue with Sasuke on that point and just nodded. He looked at the clock and noted it was almost time for them to go. “Can I take the car after the appointment so I can just drive home after work? I know you have an eye exam today.” Today was the day that Sasuke was going to get his eyes examined to determine how far his condition had progressed and when they could schedule him for surgery. The concept of surgery might be a bit up in the air now that Sasuke had cancer and was taking crap loads of meds that might affect something. Naruto didn’t really know for sure how it worked.

Sasuke nodded. “That works out anyway, I won’t be able to drive after they dilate my eyes (1).” Sasuke walked up behind Naruto and wrapped his arms around the bond. He gave Naruto a small kiss on the cheek before letting go and heading to the living room. “Are you ready?”

Naruto just nodded and grabbed his list of questions. He had taken the time to write down what he wanted to ask Tsunade, because he knew he would probably forget something. Once he was in the living room he saw Sasuke head toward the kitchen; probably to get something to eat before they left. He headed toward the kitchen as well, despite the sickening smell of food. Oddly enough, the food didn’t smell bad at all. He knew Itachi was a great cook; his stomach just wasn’t agreeing with anything. He stopped once he got past the doorway and just stood there appreciating the view in front of him; his two lovers engaged in a passionate lip lock.

When Sasuke entered the kitchen, he fully expected to see his brother in there; considering the fact that he wasn’t anywhere else in the house. What he didn’t expect though was Itachi standing there in nothing but his pajama bottoms hanging low on narrow hips. Usually his brother didn’t go around half naked; he was a bit more reserved than that. So seeing Itachi in that rare state of undress in a place besides the bedroom, made Sasuke openly stare; and incredibly horny.

Itachi noticed someone looking at him and smirked as he saw Sasuke; eyes wide and mouth agape. “Good morning Otouto.” he said in a voice that he only reserved for the bedroom. Itachi felt a bit playful; why not indulge for once?

Sasuke inwardly groaned at Itachi’s tone of voice. He loved it when his brother used that particular voice; too bad he didn’t have time for a quick roll in the sheets. Instead of dragging Itachi to the bedroom; he sauntered sexily up to the older man and wrapped his arms around Itachi’s waist. He looked up, and with a sexy coy little smirk of his own, he leaned in and planted his lips firmly to Itachi’s.

They stayed like that for a bit, letting their tongues explore each other’s mouths and moaning low in their throats; turned on to no end by the simple act. They pressed their bodies closer together and their arousals rubbed against each other enticingly. Their fun was interrupted though as they a heard a throat clearing itself in the kitchen doorway. Both brothers slowly separated and looked over toward the source of the noise. There stood their cute little Naruto; with the cutest pout on his face.

Naruto couldn’t take the sight anymore. He was starting to get horny and he figured being horny right before a doctor’s appointment wouldn’t be the best thing for him. He got the Uchiha’s attention by clearing his throat and sent the two the best pout he could muster. “As much as I appreciate the show, I don’t think Tsunade would want to see me with a hard on first thing in the morning; actually, she probably never would want to see that. Also, Sasuke, we need to go; we’re going to be late.” To emphasize his point, he pointed to the digital clock that was set in the microwave display.

Sasuke tried to hide the distinct blush that tinted his cheeks, but failed miserably. He gave Itachi an apologetic look that clearly said he’d make it up to him later.

Itachi smirked at Naruto’s words and reluctantly let go of Sasuke. He walked over to Naruto and wrapped his arms around the blond. He kissed Naruto’s forehead; not wanting to accidently arouse his lover. One thing that Itachi knew about Naruto; he loved kissing. That was probably his number one turn on and what he loved best before, during and after sex.

Naruto wrapped his arms around Itachi in return and rested his head on the older Uchiha’s shoulder. “Are you sure you can’t go with us Ita?”

Itachi shook his head and pulled back slightly. “I wish I could, baby; but I have class in about a half an hour.” He would have loved to go with Naruto and Sasuke; but with school and homework, he just had to be happy with hearing about the visits from either one of his lovers. He would definitely go if he didn’t have class next time.

Naruto nodded and looked at Sasuke. “Ready?”

Sasuke nodded and headed to the door; giving his brother one last kiss on the way. He grabbed the car keys and his cell phone from the coffee table and followed Naruto out the door. They walked down the steps in silence and Sasuke was a bit worried that Naruto was freaking out a bit too much about the visit to the hospital. Before Naruto had a chance to open the car door; Sasuke stepped in between the blond and the smooth metal surface of the car. “Are you alright baby? You’re really quiet this morning.”

Naruto hated it when Sasuke called him out like that. Even though most of the time he was spot on with his accusations. The blond crossed his arms defiantly and turned his head to the side slightly. “I’ve been how I always am.” That sounded lame even to his ears.

Sasuke sighed and shook his head. “Fine, you don’t have to tell me right now if you don’t want to; but I want you to be able to tell me how you’re feeling about everything. Remember what Tsunade said last time you saw her? She said to keep…”

“…communicating with your partner; I know, Sasuke. But sometimes, it’s hard to explain what I’m going through if you’ve never gone through it.” That aspect of his pregnancy was what frustrated him the most. He knew that Sasuke was there for him and that he was loved, but how could Sasuke sit there and feel sympathy and say ‘I know’ when he didn’t even know at all.

Sasuke didn’t know what to say to that and just sighed as he ran a hand through his hair. “I don’t know what you want me to say to that Naru. I know what your saying is right; I don’t understand. I’m trying to, but…” He trailed off when he couldn’t elaborate on what he was trying to say. “Why don’t we talk to Tsunade about this alright? We’re already going to be late.” He didn’t want to avoid the problem; but they couldn’t stand there all day discussing their current problem when they had things to do.

Naruto nodded and got in the passenger’s seat. He watched as Sasuke got in on the other side and started the car after shutting his door. They drove down the road in silence; both thinking about the conversation they had not even a few minutes before. He didn’t know what was going on with him. During their conversation, he wanted to lash out at Sasuke. He wanted to just yell at him and tell him he didn’t know shit. He held himself back though and tried to calm down a bit. He couldn’t blame Sasuke for not knowing anything. But then again, his lover never really took the time to really try to understand what Naruto was feeling. He really hoped it wouldn’t get much more complicated than it already was. Oh how he wished.

“No fucking way! That’s awesome!!” Naruto; currently laying on the exam table, stared in amazement at a small screen next to his head. On the screen was the first glimpse of his baby; not much bigger than a jelly bean at the stage it was in. Naruto continued to watch the tiny thing; his eyes glued to the screen. The sound of the baby’s heart beat could also be heard coming from the machine as well.

Tsunade shook her head while an amused smile graced her features. She always loved showing a mother their baby for the first time. The reactions were always priceless; and Naruto was no exception. When the blond had arrived, he was a bit apprehensive; she couldn’t blame him. The first official prenatal visit was always quite nerve wracking for any parent. She made sure to answer all of Naruto’s questions after the initial weigh in and blood work were done.

Sasuke couldn’t really tell what the hell he was looking at. All he saw were lines and bluish grey. Tsunade had tried pointing the tiny baby fetus out to him; even went so far as to circle it with her closed pen. Of course Naruto saw it right away and was a little pissed that Sasuke didn’t see it. He squinted again, trying to find the tiny thing on the screen; but no such luck befell the youngest Uchiha.

Naruto turned his head to look at Sasuke. “Are you sure you can’t see it Sasu?” He was a little disappointed that Sasuke couldn’t share in the joy of seeing his baby for the first time. It probably had to do with his vision being so bad. Naruto couldn’t stay mad at him under those circumstances.

Sasuke shook his head at another attempt. “I don’t even know where I’m supposed to be looking.”

Tsunade turned off the machine; feeling that Sasuke had tortured himself enough. “It’s alright Sasuke; a lot of people have a hard time seeing the fetus in the first stages.” She then turned back to Naruto. “That’s all for today Naruto. Everything looks fine so far. I’ll need to see you at least once a month now; so be sure to make an appointment when you leave.”

Naruto nodded and sat up. He pulled his shirt back on and looked at Tsunade. “So, I can go?”

Tsunade shook her head once again. “Yes you can go, but before you do, I want to give you this.” She held out a bag to Naruto who took it with a questioning look. “It’s just some pamphlets that might be useful to you. Information about diet and things of the like. There’s also some prenatal vitamins that you should take from now on to ensure your health is maintained as well as your baby’s.”

Naruto looked through the bag of stuff briefly before handing it to Sasuke. “Cool, so now I’m really done?” He didn’t know why he was so anxious to leave. Maybe it was just the whole hospital atmosphere.

Tsunade nodded. “Yes you are officially done. Don’t forget to make an appointment for next month.”

Naruto nodded and gave a little wave before exiting the exam room with Sasuke close behind.

She sighed as she sat down on the exam table that Naruto had occupied moments before. “That damn kid’s going to force me into early retirement.”

Dilated eyes: This is when the doctor places drops in your eyes so that the pupils will enlarge; enabling the doctor to see the inside of your eyes easier. (Damn hurts too. Cause they shine lights directly into your pupils.) Then afterwards, everything is all blurry and extremely bright. It takes about half a day for your vision to get back to normal. Well, at least for me.
